Welcome to the Coupler.io Academy, where experts share tips and tricks on working with the data. In this video, we will talk about 10 best  Google Sheets add-ons for your business. Hi,  my name’s Crystal. One of the reasons behind  Google Sheets success is its fantastic ecosystem   of thousands of add-ons of any kind. I personally  can’t imagine working without at least a few of   them and I guess you’re also on the lookout  for some great productivity apps. So here you   go. Check out my summary of 10 best Google Sheets  add-ons for marketing, sales, accounting, and HR,   with practical examples for each app. I’ll start  with Coupler. io. It’s a platform that turns   complex data into simple reports. Google Sheets  is one of its most popular integrations and you   can use it to automatically pull data from dozens  of apps - marketing and advertising platforms,   CRMs, accounting and ecommerce tools, and even  from the other Google Sheets spreadsheets. It   takes just a few minutes to set up and requires  no coding whatsoever. On top of a web interface,   Coupler. io also comes with a Google Sheets  add-on. For example, if I want to set up automated   imports from Facebook Ads, I’ll pick this app  from the list of available sources. I’ll need to   connect my account and choose what to import. At  this point, I can move on or add more data either   from Facebook or from any other supported app. In  such a case, Coupler. io would facilitate blending   such data into my desired format. Next, I can  preview the data and transform it - for example,   apply a filter to only fetch campaigns with  more than 10 thousand impressions. I could also   sort data, apply custom formulas, add or remove  columns, and more. The last thing to do is set up   a destination for my data, and I can also create  a schedule so that the importer refreshes my data,   for example, hourly every day. And after  a quick load, here’s the imported data in   my spreadsheet. I could now run the importer  whenever I needed to refresh the data or let   it follow the chosen schedule. Coupler. io  can automate virtually all your data flows,   especially if your business relies on Google  Sheets as your go-to productivity app. You can   try it out on a free 14-day trial, with no credit  card required. And now, onto another top Google   Sheets add-on - Mailmeteor. Mailmeteor can use  the data from your spreadsheet to send powerful,   fully-customized emails to your audience. It’s  perfect for running email campaigns, outreaching   new clients as well as any communication  with large contact lists. In my spreadsheet,   I have several contacts that I want to reach  out to. In Mailmeteor I’ve specified my sender   name. On a premium plan, I could enable tracking  and other options to the right. I will create a   simple template, inserting various variables from  my spreadsheet. And will share the news about the   new product update we’ve got available. Once this  is done, I can send emails right away or schedule   sending. Other options for sending follow-ups  or optimizing sending are also available. I will   dispatch emails right away, which will add a new  column in my spreadsheet with the status of each   recipient. Mailmeteor offers a limited free plan  that lets you send 50 emails a day. For higher   capacity and more features you’ll need to upgrade.  Okay, next on my list is something loved by SEO   specialists out there. RankTank is a versatile  SEO add-on that can fetch tons of useful data   right into your spreadsheet. It can help with  keyword research, rank tracking, as well as   competitive analysis. Say I want to analyze some  keywords that BBC Good Food’s website ranks for, I   listed them to the left. Now I launch the RankTank  widget and after a quick wait, it will give me:   the current rank for each keyword, if any, and  the URL that ranks the highest. You can also fetch   the Monthly Search Volume but for that, you’ll  need to buy the premium subscription. What’s more,   for each keyword, you can see who ranks directly  above and below, as well as get some more data   about your own URL. RankTank may be simple but  it brings SEO specialists lots of useful data   available within just a single click. The first  1000 scans are free, after which you’ll need to   purchase a subscription. The next app on my list  of best add-ons for Google Sheets is awesome,   literally. The add-on is called Awesome Table.  Awesome Table lets you fetch data from dozens   of apps with just a few clicks. What’s more, it  offers an extensive library of interactive charts,   tables, and maps that you can use freely to  visualize your data. Here/’s the Awesome Table   add-on in Google Sheets. I’ll start by creating  a new request. Plenty of apps are available, I’ll   scroll down and select Mailchimp that I previously  connected. Let’s fetch the campaigns and I can   then click to preview that data. Here you can also  transform the data if you’d like. Let’s jump back   and run the import. After a short wait, your data  will appear to the left. You can schedule future   imports or move on to the visualization part. In  the menu, you’ll find an option to showcase your   data, clicking on which will take you to their  app library. You can create a visualization app   from scratch or take advantage of an extensive  set of ready-to-use templates. Whether you’re   in marketing, sales, product management or any  other department, you’ll love the simplicity   and the powerful functions of Awesome Table.  You can use it for free for up to 10 requests,   after which you’ll need to opt for a paid  plan. Alright. The apps I talked about so   far were mostly meant for marketers, although  they can be used by other professionals with a   lot of success. Now I want to talk about the best  Google Sheets add-ons for sales. First - Hunter   for Sheets. Hunter is a tool for finding and  verifying email addresses. It’s excellent for   outreach or PR but can also be used for plenty  of other use cases. Hunter crawls the internet,   looking for publicly mentioned email addresses and  adding them to its databases. With that, you can   take advantage of three distinct features. With  ‘Search’, you type in a domain and Hunter returns   addresses it was able to find. “Finder” function  uses the data in your spreadsheet to return likely   email addresses for each person. And the “Verify”  function can do precisely that - verify addresses   you already have. Let’s try the first option,  I want to find emails of Tesla employees so   I can reach out to them with my proposal. Click  the button and you’ll see the requested details   popping up in your spreadsheet. The more sources  an address was found from, the higher the score,   the more likely an address is to be correct.  Hunter easily integrates with Google Sheets and   is invaluable for anyone using email for sales  purposes. It offers a free plan with limited   capacity and a few paid plans with much higher  limits and additional features. Once you have   the emails, it’s worth reaching out to them in an  automated but at the same time personalized way.   Yet Another Mail Merge, abbreviated as YAMM, is  among the top Google Sheets add-ons for the job.   YAMM works in a similar way to Mailmeteor  I discussed a few minutes ago. It can be   a preferred option for sales due to its extensive  features, such as the ability to add attachments,   track emails in real-time, send automated  notifications when Google Forms are submitted,   and more. Yet Another Mail Merge relies on  two Google Apps - Sheets and Gmail. In Gmail,   you build email templates to use for your  campaigns. From Sheets, you fetch the data   for each email. Here I’m using a template  I’ve previously set up in Gmail. I could   send myself a test email, schedule emails for  sending later or just dispatch them right away,   I’ll go with this option. Give it a moment to load  and… all have been sent to my recipients. YAMM   also added a column for tracking each email and  it now opens a widget to the right. In real-time,   you can monitor the status of your messages. Yet  Another Mail Merge must be among the top mail   merge add-ons for Google Sheets. You can use it  for free with up to 50 recipients a day. Upgrade   to a paid plan for higher limits, the ability to  schedule emails, and more. The next two add-ons   are meant for accounting professionals. I’ll  start with G-Accon for Xero. G-Accon simplifies   financial reporting by fetching ready reports from  your accounting tool within seconds. You can also   send data in the opposite direction, uploading it  to the likes of Xero, Quickbooks, FreshBooks, and   more. I’m going to show you the Xero add-on here  but you’ll find separate add-ons for the other   tools in Google Workspace Marketplace. G-Accon  is available through the Extensions menu. Here,   you can get raw data, ready reports as well  as custom and consolidated reports. I’ll get   a business report. Here I can choose the type,  for example, ‘Balance Sheet’. And it lets you   fetch the balance for the end of this quarter. Now  a few seconds to load a report, and here you go,   a Balance Sheet report right in your spreadsheet.  You can try any of G-Accon add-ons for free but   then you’ll need to opt for a subscription. The  next tool can be a wonderful addition for small   businesses in need of an accounting platform  that integrates well with Google Sheets. Let’s   talk about Bkper. Bkper streamlines financial data  management by offering an intuitive interface for   inserting data and collaborating with a team. The  add-on also comes with a range of Google Sheets   templates for analyzing and processing your  financial results. Here’s the Bkper interface   where you can add transactions by simply typing  them in. For example, I’ll add here a transaction   from the 13th of April where we received a payment  for our products for the amount of 150 dollars. It   came from Customer A and went straight to our bank  account. When saved, the transaction will appear   shortly on the list, and me or another colleague  can confirm then, or not! Now, the cool thing   about Bkper is that it offers tons of ready Google  Sheets reports with your data already imported and   refreshed regularly. You can pick the desired  type and move on with your bookkeeping duties   without the need to set up any data integrations.  Bkper can certainly simplify your bookkeeping   and financial reporting. It offers a free plan  with up to 100 transactions in a month as well   as more extensive paid plans. And now onto the  last two tools on my list. These Google Sheets   add-ons are great for HR professionals but many  other specialists will also find them worthy of   addition to their toolsets. First, I’ll talk about  Form Mule. It’s another mail merge and automation   tool on my list. It can send automated emails  when Google Forms are completed but is also great   for scheduled messages. You can set up advanced  criteria to only send emails to specific people   and diversify the template based on the audience.  I have several employees in my spreadsheet with   their respective departments. I want to send  these folks an email every Friday afternoon   asking for their availability for the next week.  On the next screen, I will add a condition to only   send to the marketing folks based on the values  in the respective column. I’ve already prepared a   template using several merge tags. I can click to  save and send, which will load a preview of each   email, personalized according to my requirements.  And now I can really send these emails. Simple   but powerful, Form Mule can automate plenty  of your repetitive email tasks. As of now,   the add-on seems to be free of charge. And last  but not least, I’ll talk about Publigo. This   handy add-on can turn data from your spreadsheet  into individual PDFs for each row. With just a few   clicks, you can generate hundreds of personalized  documents and distribute them to your employees,   clients, or other stakeholders. Piubligo relies  on data in Google Sheets to populate the templates   prepared in Google Docs. All you need to do is  connect both files, choose the desired output and   run the operation. Click the ‘Refresh’ button  to check on the progress and find the already   prepared documents in the chosen folder on Google  Drive. Yup, this template could definitely use   some improvements! Publigo lets you generate  some documents for free, after which you’ll need   to try one of their paid plans. And that's it!  That was our summary of the best Google Sheets   add-ons out there.
