[Music] thank you all right you have a toaster and you want to run valorant on it okay let's go for it [Music] what's up everyone it's Rex and you're watching Fierce Rex YouTube channel today in this video I'll show you guys ultimate optimization guide for fixing lag in valorant and yeah do suggest me on the topic you want my next video on I'll go for that so let's start with today's tutorial at first just have a peek at valerian's minimum system requirements and by looking at them we can logically declare it as a low spec game still as it is a competitive game we do need to worry about FPS so FPS does matter a lot even if you get 60 the more the better and remember the more you sacrifice quality the more you'll gain performance so it's up to you how much you gain just stop where the game looks too much ugly and unenjoyable as games are created to enjoy not just for competition anyways let's start optimizing let's start with basic game settings go to settings in the video section go to General tab now the first and the best way to increase your game's FPS is to use low resolution in valerant the lowest usable resolution is 1024 into 768 and in that resolution your machine will have to prepare 786 432 pixel every single frame but most of the people use HD resolution which is 2073600 pixels every single frame and that's almost three times to ten twenty four into 768 resolution and the lower pixel your machine needs to produce the lighter and easier it will be for your machine to produce a single frame so used as low resolution as possible make sure you're on full screen mod then hit apply and now go to Graphics quality section and lower everything it doesn't give you a noticeable FPS boost still something is better than nothing okay that's it for game settings let's go for external tweaks now we're going to adjust our GPU to give more priority to valorant than other programs navigate down to the search bar and type out Graphics settings open it [Music] and now browse your valorank game [Music] and add it go to options and check high performance [Music] we've added Riot client in the high performance list now we have to add our main game applications so first locate them oh wow [Music] here is one application copy its location [Music] browse in here and paste the location here hit enter now add it do the same with it too [Music] again browse another application alone here is the last application copy its location as well [Music] and do the same with this one too [Music] done adjusting GPU settings foreign and now we're going to adjust our game's visual quality from its settings file press windows and our key at the same time to open run now write app data hit enter go to local search for valoran folder saved config [Music] choose the first one windows now edit game user settings [Music] scroll all the way down and turn every number zero here except 100 [Music] save it [Music] it's done now a Powershell trick I've shown the trick and details in this video so you can check it out this tweak really helps so let's just do this search for Powershell and run it as an admin type out get hyphen an mm agent here we're going to turn this memory compression to false this would enable your machine to use full of its resources just for the game so type disable hyphen mm agent space hyphen MC hit enter now again type get hyphen mm agent to see if it has changed or not here you go it's done [Music] and now open your game if it works fine for you that's good video ends here for you leave a like and go enjoy your game but if you're still not satisfied with your fds and get stutters in game here's a quick fix for stutters when your game is opened minimize it by pressing alt and tap at the same time foreign now press on Ctrl shift and escape button at the same time to open task manager right click on your game and go to its details [Music] now right-click on valerant.win64.
