in today's video we are going to talk about how to fix USB device not recognized in Windows 11 fast mobile and this channel is all about showing you how to become a highly paid it pro really fast so without any further Ado let's get started [Music] first of all open settings of your windows 11 and then go to the update section here it says Windows update just click on it and check if there are any updates that are needed to be installed because sometimes there are updates that prevent your system to perform some activities and that might be the case for your USB device getting not recognized after you are done with this step and still you have not found the solution of your problem do not worry I have some other Solutions as well now search for device manager into your system just open this one it will open everything that you have in your system at this particular moment let me maximize this one now under the universal serial bus controller which is right here here we have USB Root Hub just right click on it and from here up update its driver click on search automatically and here it says device is already been installed it means I have no problem with that do the same with other two which is Root Hub and then we have root hub3 so I'll do the same for my USB 3.0 and we are done with this step after that what you need to do look for any hardware changes here it is just click on this icon that says scan for Hardware changes and it will check if there are any hardware changes in your system after that here if you see we have some of the unknown things in here what you need to do Under the other devices just right click on them and click on uninstall device click on uninstall again uninstall this one and uninstall the last one as well because we do not want them in here and now your problem will be solved if this solution doesn't work do not worry again look for device manager and this time under the universal Sirius bus controller here you see USB Root Hub just right click on it and go to its properties here it says power management just click on it and here it says allow the computer to turn off this device to save power uncheck this option and click on OK do the same for all the USB Root Hub that you have into your system I'll do the same for USB 3.0 here it is uncheck this one and click on OK and now we are good to go now for the last solution for this video look for task manager into your system from here just open this one and click on more detail and now click on file click on run new task now I'll browse this one and this time I'll go to my C directory which is right here after that go to your windows and now I look for system 32 so I'll just press s and I look for system 32 folder here it is just hit enter and from here look for CMD or command prompt I'll just search for that here it is and after that give it a space double hyphen and right here update and make sure to run this task as an administrator so I'll check this task with administrative privileges after that click on OK and it will open your command prompt now we need to write here one command and that is GP update it will update and most probably after updating the policy it will solve your problem and here it says policy update has completed successfully and now we are good to go and I hope now after applying these Solutions you will not have that problem anymore and that also brings me to the end of this video please leave a like subscribe and press the Bell icon I'll get back to you in the next video till then take care
