but then I went to a dance competition and the same manager was there

and asked me to join the agency, so I did How old were you then? I was in 9th grade when I first
joined the agency I think it's really amazing
how a 9th grader went to an agency -to become a singer

Even though its not often seen on camera outside of BTS, Suga has been known to really love giving advice to his members & juniors. I think other idols who have reached out to him on producer questions, etc.
It was on full display today! This was a great conversation between the two, and I hope that some of the advice given lessened Hoshi's future anxiety slightly. I don't know much about Hoshi, but even in this episode, it was clear the love for the group is strong. I see SVT going the distance!
Lastly, Suga jokingly apologizing to the industry for BTS starting things like: large stages w/ lots of dancers, Bangtan Bomb, and Today's BTS was hilarious!
What a touching conversation about their common experiences as trainees and idols! It was incredibly sweet, filled with compliments and with a touch of awkwardness (especially in the most honest moments) that made it so wholesome!
Despite seeming shy, Hoshi participated a lot, even asked Yoongi interesting questions (such as if he would ever debut his own idol group). There were funny moments (like Hoshi trying to break the ice and Yoongi saying sorry for things BTS made popular lol) and some more melancholic (the talk about the fear about time running out, working twice as hard to make it "worth").
It truly felt like they connected so well and it was really interesting to see!
I love how time and time again they reassure us that they are in it for a long time
Some thoughts now that I've watched the whole episode.
It's really surprising how pending enlistment is in their whole careers, as a matter of fact, I can't imagine the worries they might feel.
Although Yoongi says that it's possible they can't keep up their current "high", I wouldn't count them out, it's good to know that they, time and time again, do everything in order for the team to get better, something that is their priority. That was something Taeyang also said during his episode.

oh this was lovely! you could really see hoshi easing up during the episode. and it seems like both of them really enjoyed the talk!
i find it interesting that yoongi talked about wishing that juniors would find it easier to talk to them/him, i think they have an odd mixture of their success being really intimitating coupled with not really participating in the usual "multiple idols get together" opportunities (music shows, award shows, variety shows like game caterers) in the past few years. they've been kinda isolated and i don't really think i noticed that as an army until i ended up being more involved in other groups later on. i mean, they shared an agency with the txt members since like 2014/15 and never really interacted before their debut from what we know. so i think it's great that he's using the show to get those sort of talks and interactions he wants to have!
I've just finished it, and it was so nice. The big takeaway here is that it seems they really connected enough to go in the studio and keep having their conversation.
Not a SVT fan, but I was kinda of touched when Hoshi spoke about them as a group, who will have to face a break in their careers due to the military, they won't be together for while. The fact that he feels anxious about it, it must be hard too, hopeful they will see this as an opportunity to have more subunits or solo projects, to create their identity outside of the group then getting back together.
That's how I see it with BTS, they spend nearly 10 years together, basically H24 all the time, and it must have been scary to just separate for a while with people who are such an essential part of who they are on a daily basis. Now, they are blooming individually, but they still say it, they miss being all together.
The militaries enlistments aren't easy on these idols, specially with groups that are tied and basically a family.
Hopefully, Hoshi did get some of the answers he was looking for, and appease his fears a bit. Wish him and his group mates all the best. 💜
This was too much for my heart to take. Both of them are so adorable. God, I wish the episodes were longer. None of them feel enough to me.
