that had stored meoruju

to get this color -It'll get darker in about two years
-It gets darker Once it goes in the oak cask some are for the angels' share

evaporates while aging in the oak cask] About 2-3% evaporates -Right, so you have to keep adding more
-Yeah You've been studying, huh? Did some on whiskey, yes BTS's useless encyclopedia I'm always looking things up on Namuwiki You know all sorts of weird stuff You've still got it

I mixed it with water one to one I lowered the alcohol content

with high ABVs It has that kind of strong taste I think Sahaehyeongje
is really good though I'll drink that today But with good alcohol like this

[Korea → Brazil, Argentina, Chile] it takes 36 to 40 hours You're on a flight for 12 to 16 hours
[1. South Korea → USA (approx. 14 hours)] and you either arrive in New York or LA then layover for six to eight hours
[2. Layover in the States (approx. 6-8 hours)] After that you have to fly for another 12 to 16 hours
[3. USA → Argentina (approx. 13 hours)] I still remember, it was my birthday
[March 9] -and we were going to Chile for a tour
-Right -It started in Chile
-Yeah And it took us 36 hours
[From Korea] But to perform one song
[To perform one song that lasted about 5 minutes] you flew over 30 hours I thought that was really amazing
[Jin handled a roundtrip flight of 72 hours] Respect

[Last December] in an album then I would've rented a venue
like Namjoon and performed there But I only had one song

who came to see me

a team and going solo When I was watching
Jung Kook perform "Dreamers" Me too. I was like, "Wow!" He's so good I thought it'd be so nerve-racking
I wondered if he'd be okay

-But when... -The funny thing is, once you go up
you don't feel nervous anymore
-Right I get really nervous... When I go on up stage
it feels like my indigestion all goes away
[Whoosh] What I wanted to say was since we only ever do our own concerts we never appear as guests anywhere else Since we only do our concerts
I just got so used to that
[Got so used to BTS's concerts] So anyway, I started out on a thrust stage Right, and then you go to the main stage
[Started from a thrust stage away from the main stage] I started out on a thrust stage but when we use thrust stages -we have a lot of monitor speakers
-Yeah But when I went out on that thrust stage there was only one monitor speaker

[This small!] Yeah, band concerts are like that I didn't know during rehearsals
but when I went up there I couldn't hear a thing even when I raised
the volume of my in-ear all the way I couldn't hear a thing
[Coudn't hear a thing from his in-ear monitor] The sound of the cheers from the mic
[Had to rely on the delayed sound
from the band on the main stage] drowned everything out If you're out on a thrust stage
and there's a delay there's nothing you can do You didn't have a prompter either? If I explain

singers wear in-ear monitors People think that we hear
something special But you only hear
your voice and instruments
[Your voice, instruments, and metronome] And the reason is because of the sound from the main stage

Sound travels at a certain speed

because of the distance] -About 0.5 seconds
-There's a delay with the main stage So if you don't have an in-ear monitor -you totally miss the beat

let alone singing We experienced that at MAMA once The reason why so many people
[Why people get flustered when
making acceptance speeches] get flustered during award ceremonies is because when they talk -the sound comes later. It's different

[Usually the sounds are heard right away] But if you hear it like 0.5 seconds later than you expected It's a mental breakdown If it was like that
you must've been so nervous

[Since Jin & j-hope are here and we mentioned MAMA] I want to talk about 2018 -2018?

-It was a tough year I'm so... I think... I would have cried whether or not we had received
this award this year I'd like to thank our members who are all with me in this moment It was really tough for all of us mentally
earlier this year We even talked about whether to disband or not
and gave it a lot of thought... But we pulled ourselves together and I'm so glad
that we were able to receive such an amazing award I'd like to thank our members
for pulling together I'm so grateful for our members and for ARMY

their love and support Thank you So I was wondering what made you say that

for our acceptance speech Since we're not you

[Q. How did Jin feel during his acceptance speech?] and what made you talk about that Because that was when... That was when we were promoting
"FAKE LOVE" and every month... we only had a day... and a half! I got really mad over that half Oh, right!
We used to say half-day For about three months
[Had 1.5 days off a month] we only had a day off each month
[Worked for three months in that way] The agency said we had to work like that
in order to make it And we knew that it wasn't entirely wrong
[Members agreed too] -Since everything was going so well
-Right, right 2018 was the biggest year for us -"FAKE LOVE"
-We were promoting FAKE LOVE and IDOL
[When they were becoming known globally
with the success of "FAKE LOVE" and "IDOL"] That's why we worked so hard But mentally and physically
it was too hard on us
[Both body and mind were exhausted] And we wanted to just let it all go We were like, "I can't do this anymore
Let's stop here" That's how we felt Back then, our office was in Nonhyeon-dong I still remember our studio
[Where the seven got together and talked about things] Yeah, we all went to some bar
and drank So I just wanted to be honest
[About those feelings] about how we had felt
[To ARMY] But when our fans heard that I'm sure it could've sounded negative because it's not an easy thing
to talk about But it was in the past already It was something that happened a year ago
[Since the hardships were already in the past] And it was true that we had thought about it
[Since the seven decided to overcome
the hardships and start running again] And everything turned out okay in the end
so that's why I just talked about it later [Wanted to share their process, feelings
and decisions with ARMY] I don't know if we were really desperate
and gritting our teeth back then but I feel like out of all the
performances we ever did
[Among all of BTS's performances] we did a lot that could be
part of a highlight film
[A time when they had lots of performances
that could be a part of a highlight film] -Our IDOL performances
-Yeah Even until 2018... I still don't know But I thought we were just underdogs I think we need something like that though -Yeah, totally
-Without it -there's no driving force
-Right, right
[2018, when they had nothing but grit
and craved for growth] Of course, it was very tough at the time but because we got through that -in 2019 and 2020
-That's true we were able to do what we did What I love about our members is that when we're given good content or something that's good
[When they get good content] we all voluntarily do it! I realized that during "Run BTS" We all came out to practice voluntarily If someone had something on their schedule
[If they had an individual schedule
they'd come out early to practice] they'd come out an hour early to practice Isn't that a given? It is for us But the fact that everyone does that
without any hesitation and enjoys it
[Even after 10 years, they still gladly
practice and have fun in the process] it's just so awesome Although we're on the same team I just feel really lucky
to have met you all -I met really great people
-I always feel the same way too To be frank, we're not a team that made it just because
one person did really well
[Not a group that succeeded
because of one exceptional member] We're here because we all
worked really hard And we believe in each other We don't think that one of us
won't do well

-We never even had that thought When I ask a member
to feature on a song or do something

I'm curious about though Lately, I've been thinking sometimes "What if I hadn't been BTS? What would 30-year-old
Min Yoongi be doing?" I try to imagine that I think... What do you think you'd be doing? I would've failed miserably, to be honest Because I'm not very good
at doing things voluntarily I work really hard on the things
I'm told to do -I do my best to do my part but...
-What do you mean? You're good
at doing things voluntarily You went to Argentina voluntarily And you made Sahaehyeongje voluntarily I like to stay at home and I don't meet a lot of people... I'm close to what you call an "outsider"

what you call an "outsider"] So I probably... would be playing games at home and getting my back slapped
by my parents You'd have heard things like
"Why is a good-looking guy like you -living that way?"
-But you know what? I hear that even now Even if you hadn't come to our agency -I think you would've gone somewhere

although he got a degree in something else but with his face

when it comes to resourcefulness so I think he'd have done well
whatever he did I'd probably be doing something with the guys who love to dance so much

a songwriter

Also, the funny thing about member Suchwita is there tidbits about other members because it’s just like they talking amongst themselves. JK caught some strays today with the eldest lol
I do like how they speak so freely on Suchwita. The member convos always feel very unfiltered.

The dynamic each of the guy has with one another is so special and so unique to them.
I love this episode since we got to learn more about their very special relationship as the two eldest, always heartwarming when they say that while they are having a good time on their solo endeavors, nothing beats being together.
When all Hobi, Jin and Yoongi were together, it was like watching friends talk without a camera.
It looks like both Yoongi and Jungkook were there for when Jin shaved his hair which I've read is something very special for them and of course, Tae finished his schedule early so he could be there to see Jin off.
I like how Jin himself said that he's finding his own path and I'm sure we will see more of him once he gets back.
At some point in the middle of the video all I could think was “Jin is going to town on the food” 🤣
I love how effortless he is - an inspiration to enjoy this one life we have as much as possible.
