Hello everyone Today I want to share with you in this video the heart mantra of Cundhi Bodhisattva We often hear about the mantra of Cundhi and even in many recitations
of the Ten Small Mantras this mantra is included which is the Cundhi Mantra Cundhi Bodhisattva actually is very compassionate. Cundhi Bodhisattva or Cundhi mother of Buddhas also known as the mother
of seven koti of Buddhas What does seven koti mean? Koti, in ancient India, is often used to describe very large numbers. They used the term "koti" possibly describing millions or even billions or even countless numbers. So here the Cundhi of Cundhi Bodhisattva also has another meaning of "purity." Why is it called the mother
of seven koti of Buddhas? Because He is one of the seven honored ones Koti represents countless Buddhas. The mother of countless Buddhas So she also means the mother
of the Buddhas of the three times mother of seven koti of Buddhas The mother of seven hundred
billion Buddhas and Bodhisattvas A Bodhisattva with great blessing power In the Sutra of mother of seven koti of Buddhas, of the Great Dharani of Cundhi This Sutra comes from The Qianlong version of the Tripitaka The Buddha gave teachings at the Jetavana Grove To all his disciples At that time, the Buddha
contemplated and observed compassionately towards future sentient beings in endlessly suffering. Because of this thought toward all future beings, he wanted to proclaim the Cundhi Tathagata of seven koti The Dharani of the mother of Buddhas namah saptanam samyaksambuddha kotinam tadyatha om cale cule cundhi svaha This "om cale cule cundhi svaha ha" in plain and simple explanation could be taking refuge in the mother
of seven koti of Buddhas Following their pure hearts Practice diligently and eventually attain Buddhahood In this sutra, the Buddha also taught the meaning of each word and phrase. The 'Om' signifies non-arising
and non-ceasing and among all dharmas, it
is the most supreme. The 'ca' signifies non-action The 'le' signifies non-form The 'cu' signifies non-originating
and non-abiding. The 'le' signifies non-good The 'cun' signifies non-equal enlightenment The 'dhi' signifies the non-choice The 'sva' signifies equality without words The 'ha' signifies causeless, serene non-abiding Nirvana If there are bhiksu, bhiksuni, upasaka and upasika who uphold and recite this Dharani for nine hundred thousand times, over countless eons of offenses will be eradicated. They will encounter Buddhas and
Bodhisattvas wherever they are. Their resource will be abundant They will be monastic for countless lifetimes. For lay practitioners upholding precepts steadfast and unwavering They will swiftly attain supreme Buddhahood They will always be born in the heaven
and be revered by the heaven beings. Always being protected. If born into the human realm, should be a prince of an emperor or born into a noble family Their family will not be troubled
by disasters, illnesses, or suffering Will not fall into the Three Lower Realms Everything they do will be harmonious Their teachings will be believed
and accepted by others This is in the scripture of the Buddha The Buddha gave this teaching For practitioners, fourfold monastic community, who can sincerely and devoutly recite this Dharani mantra ninety thousand times. Ninety thousand times is a very large number So when we can recite like this, all offenses, including the five
cardinal offenses, can be eradicated. And we will often encounter Buddhas,
Bodhisattvas, and wise advisors. All resources for cultivation will always be fulfilled freely Meaning there will be no deprivation Countless lifetimes they will
frequently be able to take monastic vows If lay practitioners uphold precepts, very diligently and with unwavering resolve, they can attain supreme enlightenment and frequently be reborn in heaven respected and revered by all heavenly beings And always guarded by all
heavenly and human beings If reborn in the human realm, they will often be born into
royal or noble families and will have no afflictions or calamities No harm from misfortunes All external conditions of difficulty Will be removed And their status will be very noble Respected by people and will not descend to the Three Lower Realms Of course, they will not suffer
in the Three Lower Realms. This is very auspicious. Therefore, Cundhi Bodhisattva is very auspicious. In Mahayana Buddhism, even in the past Japanese
Esoteric Buddhism period He was highly respected. His form has three eyes and eighteen arms. Each of the implements held in
his hands is different. Sometimes people confuse Cundhi
Bodhisattva with Thousand-Armed Guan Yin. These two Bodhisattvas are
sometimes mixed up. In fact, the vow made by the mother
of seven koti of Buddhas is for all the beings in the
Dharma-Ending time, so they can eliminate various karmic obstacles, can accomplish all virtuous dharmas, have abundant accumulation of blessing, ultimately achieving supreme enlightenment, and be able to benefit all beings.
