Hello everyone. I'm very happy to meet you all online again. Today here, I'd like to share with you the mantra of Mahavairocana Buddha. Mahavairocana Buddha, is one of the Buddhas of the five directions. He resides in the center. He has a white body. His appearance manifests in white, just like the radiance of the sun, which dispels darkness. What he offers to sentient beings is boundless radiant light. Mahavairocana Buddha is also Vairocana Buddha, one of the three bodies of the Buddha. One of these bodies is the Dharma body, the pure Dharma body Vairocana Buddha, which is the manifestation of the Buddha's Dharma body. In the general sense, Mahavairocana Buddha mostly exists in esoteric Buddhism, or within esoteric teachings. He is the main deity of the Yoga division. And he is a very important Buddha. He is extremely compassionate, and what he offers to sentient beings is boundless light. It means that all obstacles and hindrances, just like this darkness, with Vairocana Buddha, he shines forth like radiant light illuminating everything. Once the light shines through, the darkness will be dispelled. So reciting this Vairocana Buddha Mantra not only allows us practitioners to eliminate all past negative karma but also helps to lighten the burden of heavy karma before our rebirth. Continuously reciting with sincerity this mantra can also lead to rebirth in a Pure Land, which is extremely precious and inconceivable. Therefore, many people hope to lighten their karma and increase their lifespan and blessings before their final moments. At the time of death, they hope to be guided by the Buddha to the Pure Land. Therefore, this is a very extraordinary practice. Mahavairocana, the Vairocana Buddha, their heart mantra's original name is the Fundamental Mantra of Shakyamuni, the King of Eliminating Lower Realms. Also known as the Tathagata Dharani of Eliminating All Lower Realms. It has different names and forms, but its main benefit is often to dispel disasters during life and to offer blessings for a smooth rebirth. Therefore, that is why many people really hope to uphold, recite this Vairocana Buddha Mantra. It benefits both the living and the dead. In the "Sutra of the Dhāraṇīs that Remove Suffering and Adversity", it also describes the extraordinary merits of this sutra. I now quickly recite the scripture. Always near good friends, constantly hearing the right teachings, seeking the Bodhi mind without ever abandoning it, adorning oneself with all virtues, observing good discipline, and averting all evil deeds, never lacking in gentleness, joy, and tranquility, constantly experiencing happiness among gods and humans, quickly realizing the supreme, perfect enlightenment, never regressing from the ten stages to the other shore, may I always benefit and bring joy to all sentient beings. This is part of it, within the scripture describing the extraordinary merits of this Vairocana Buddha Mantra. This Vairocana Buddha Mantra its meaning a simple explanation is that Om, I pay homage to the Bhagavan the Tathagata, the King of Eliminating Lower Realms, worthy of offerings, perfectly enlightened. First and foremost, do a prayer of homage like this. Within the scripture, it will have this First like this Then recite the mantra Om, purify, purify Completely purify all karmic offenses Pure again, pure Completely purify All latent karmic forces Svaha This is a simplified explanation giving everyone a general understanding. When we recite this mantra What its meaning is So Here we can understand that The heart mantra of Vairocana Buddha mainly purifies us Our karmic offenses Offenses arise from the mind and are purified from the mind All karmic offenses are created from our body, speech, and mind creating the ten unwholesome actions These ten unwholesome actions include three of the body, four of speech, three of the mind. Three of the body are killing, stealing, and sexual misconduct Three of the mind are greed, hatred, ignorance The four of speech are false speech, divisive speech, flattery, and bad mouthing. Actually, all of these are manifested in our body, speech, and mind. Therefore, when we repent, the most important thing is to understand within ourselves our mind cannot act autonomously such that anger, greed, and ignorance these thoughts, distorted thoughts and views are leading us to engage in unwholesome actions and deeds in our body and speech. Therefore, we must start from here acknowledge the offenses from the mind and repent from the heart this is called true repentance we must deeply understand that all of this is due to our ignorance creating them we must repent from the fundamental aspect so in the practice of reciting mantras we can examine our inner self whether we can make our mind more peaceful and purified so this is the mantra of Mahavairocana the Vairocana Buddha Mantra With the heart mantra of Mahavairocana Granting us sentient beings The greatest blessings And His many extraordinary merits and benefits Today in this short time sharing with all of you. I am also hoping to provide everyone some benefits Wishing everyone constant auspiciousness Amituofo!
