Hello everyone and welcome to my channel This tutorial is about Daz to Unreal workflow This character was created in my first tutorial You can watch it from my channel My character has two Morphs that I want to export together Open the Parameter Setting and copy the name we'll use later There are two ways to export to Unreal First we use the manual way Select the character to change the Resolution Level to Base Go to File Export export to FBX Check the Morphs and Click Edit Morph Export Rules That's my morphs Click Add and paste morph name to add new morph Check Collect Textures To Folder When it's done switch to Unreal Create a new folder Drag the FBX into Unreal Check Import Morph Targets Here you can choose whether you want to create a new material or not Now our character is imported into Unreal Let's Organize the maps and materials into a new folder Ctrl+S Save all Double-click to open Skeletal Mesh There are some issues with the eyes and hair Don't worry I will fix all the issues in my next tutorial Switch to the Morph Target panel on right All of the Morph has been imported, including the clothes Let's set the weight to 1 to test Morph The Second way is to use the Daz To Unreal plugin First you need to install Daz to Unreal You can find them in the Daz and Unreal stores When you have finished, find the Edit Plugin check it Next, open the project settings Find Daz to Unreal setting Check the Fix Bone Rotations on Import and Zero Root Rotation on Import Switch to Daz Studio After you have installed the Daz to unreal bridge Select the character and click on File Send To Daz to Unreal Type a new name Check Export Morphs and open Choose Morphs Paste the Morph Name on filter and click add to Export below to add morphs You can also save presets without adding them every time Depending on your situation you can choose Bake Subdivision Levels One level means 4 times of the Vert Count and level two means 8 times Check Show FBX Dialog The Intermediate Folder is the place where Daz to export and Unreal to import from Click Accept then will show the FBX Export Options Here you can edit the morphs again Check Collect Textures To Folder Make sure Unreal is open when using the bridge or the import will not be executed by Unreal Switch to Unreal Unreal has been executed import automatically Just Clear them Now the character is imported If you are the first time to use the bridge Check the show engine Content and Show Plugin Content you will find the plugin content Delete the animation Sequence Double-click open the Skeletal Mesh Test the morph Face to the screen the left was used Daz to Unreal Plugin the right is used the Manual Way They are looks different because of the different materials The manual Way just use the default material The Bridge already set up the material for Daz Iray But there may be some issues whichever way you use So next tutorial I will fix the issues Now let's make a simple summary Two ways of the Daz to Unreal workflow one way is manually one way is using the Daz to Unreal Bridge which I Recommend If you have any questions or advice, please leave a comment below.Thanks for watching
