so a few of you have been asking me to make things that you didn't know about the Panda in Minecraft so here I am today to do exactly that so what's going on guys my name is Anthony and today i will be bringing you guys 15 things that you didn't know about the Panda in Minecraft now if you guys do enjoy today's video then be sure to give this video a like rating like this video if you guys are excited for pandas and if you're excited for 1.14 but anyways guys enough of me rambling let's go ahead and get straight into today's video about the new panda mob in 1.14 I really hope you guys enjoy it the Panda is a brand new passive sometimes a neutral mob at being added in the brand new 1.14 village and pillage update now it has already been introduced in the snapshot phase for 1.14 on October 24 2018 in 18w 43 a pandas will spawn in groups of 1 to 2 in the new bamboo a forest biome which is basically a sub by earned for the jungle biome there is pretty much a bamboo forest most pandas that spawn will spawn with 20 health points which is equivalent to 10 hearts of health but there is also a weak panda type which only has 10 health points which is equivalent to 5 hearts the pandas that spawn in your Minecraft world will spawn at with one out of the seven possible personality traits that they can spawn where now the Panda types that exist are either normal aggressive weak lazy worried playful or brown and they have a unique texture to show their personality so the normal Panda is just well the normal pander it will have the default Panda skin and doesn't really have any distinct personality traits really aggressive pandas look like this and they are very unique as they are neutral mods instead of passive mods and will attack the player and other mobs if they are provoked lazy pandas will not interact with the player much at all and they will also lay down on the ground as you can see they are also slower than the normal average panda worried pandas will avoid most of the mobs found within the Minecraft world except for the pandas of course and they will also shake and hide their faces during a thunderstorm as you can see which looks very sad playful pandas will roll over and jump around more often than other pandas which looks really awesome weak pandas tend to sneeze more often than regular pandas as the pandas in Minecraft actually sneeze if you guys didn't know and finally we have the brown panda now these guys are extremely rare and difficult to find and they don't have a unique personality per se but they are brown and white instead of black and white so yeah they have a unique skin when the aggressive type of pond herb was added into Minecraft it actually had a different texture and looked a lot more menacing than it does today ok guys so when aggressive pandas were first shown at Minecon earth and when they were added in the bedrock addition at first they actually had a different texture and they looked like this they had menacing red eyes and overall they just looked very terrifying however in a later bedrock edition version and in the first snapshot phase for the Java edition of Minecraft the texture was changed for the aggressive Panda to look like this now as you can see they still look quite angry but they definitely don't look as menacing and evil as they did before and I guess it's quite a good change but let me know what you guys think do you prefer the old texture for the aggressive Panda or the current one we have in Minecraft today let me know in the comments despite the Panda being added into Minecraft in the 1.14 update in October 2018 there is actually a lot more history to the Panda in Minecraft than you guys might think that is right guys are back in the earlier days of Minecraft all the way back in April 2012 Dinnerbone actually stated that he wanted to add pandas into the game once he was used to skinning and animating things in December 2013 dinner stated once again that he wanted to add pandas into the game and then finally in September 2018 pandas were officially announced at the mic on earth livestream so in conclusion guys pandas were planned and mentioned to be added into the game all the way back in 2012 so yeah they've been a plant mob for a long time the in-game sound effects that you guys here for the pandas when playing Minecraft are actually a real of recorded sounds for the Panda that's right guys just like the dolphin at the lead sound designer at Mojang have flew all the way out to China to record real sound effects for the Panda here is a quick video clip to closest we get to their natural environment ha ha sue don't see that happy was young yeah yeah yeah uh sue the sound Tucson a Pingo another person he also done other things to the other than module Queen get on the engine nano conjure me Anthony yeah and tell what I think is interesting about palaces that people think they are very very quiet but they have a variety of sounds I have panting bleating and sort of squeaking so I'd like to capture all of them and incorporate them in the game of course pandas love bamboo and cake they love cake as well in fact they love bamboo so much that they will just sit and eat it all day if you throw it in front of them or if you right-click on them with the bamboo for two pandas to enter love mode there must be at least eight bamboo blocks within a five-block radius for them to breed once that requirement is met the player can feed them bamboo and they will basically enter love mode producing a baby panda oh and finally I guess they left bamboo so much that they will drop 0 to 2 bamboo upon death the baby variant of the Panda has a very unique feature as they will sometimes sneeze producing particle effects and making nearby adult pandas John it is also worth noting that when baby panda sneeze they have a chance of dropping at one slime ball upon sneezing which is a little bit gross but ok now the baby pandas sneeze feature is likely to be a reference to the popular YouTube video of a real baby panda sneezing while its parent eats and this video can be seen right here [Music] if you guys ever happen to attack and damage a panda when you are near a villager then the villager will actually display the angry villager particle which pretty much means a villager is just disgusted by your attempt to cause harm to a panda and rightfully so because if you harm pandas in Minecraft then all I have to say really is you just you just mean the rare brown panda that you have a chance to find when pandas are spawning in the Minecraft world are actually a real subspecies of the giant panda which are known as the Quin Ling panda I really hope I said that right but yeah the brown panda found within Minecraft is based off of this panda which I think they did a very good job with to be honest a panda that spawns with the lazy panda personality type has officially taken the record of being the slowest land mob in the game honestly guys I think the lazy panda just represents me at times to be honest I could be a little bit lazy anyways movie God but anyways guys that just about concludes today's video about things that
