Hello everyone, I'm Alex and today, we're just going to get in the mood for this video. Because today we're going to be talking about Zoella again. It took me about five times to light that candle, so I'm probably going to die of Overexposure to gas. In today's video. We're going to be doing a bit of exposing. I know it's it's been a long time, but as you could see I've cracked out for my official YouTube jacket Some people call me the YouTube policeman. Today, we'll be talking about Zoella again... and again. As WillNE said, there's nothing quite like a Zoella title. But I discovered some tweets from Boots about Zoella's world renowned highly reviewed calendar. I mean, a lot of people have reviewed it none of the reviews are high. You know, I wanted to go back over the Zoella apology again. And you may be thinking, "The Zoella apology? I don't remember there BEING a Zoella apology. Did you see the Zoella apology? Did you see the Zoella apology? Did you see the Zoella apology? Probably not. It's not surprised because she hid it at the end of a 38 minute vlog. So I'd say in Zoella's defense, and I would decide whether I believe it. He was good enough, really. There has been um, some upset, disappointed people in the Zoella Lifestyle advent calendar. More specifically, the price of the calendar. The calendar is something. I've worked on for a year. I love the product. I am all about the creativity I'm all about getting it from a design to a product. Point one - Zoella said she had grafted this advent calendar for many of a year. It's been a long time. And I understand, to be honest. It does take a bit of time to fit something like a Candle behind an advent calendar. Especially TWO. Two of these bad boys in a calendar. That takes some time to come up with. In fact, I personally like to believe the way that she came up with this calendar is by going around our house and trying to find stuff to in it. Hey guys, and welcome to 12 days of Vlogmas! It's 12 days because... That's all I wanted to give you for the calendar. Today, e're going to be using house items to try and see what I could fog you, in a calendar! Oh, what's this guys?
What's this? It looks like in the first door, I'm gonna stick a quarter pounder box in. Ooh, ooh! What's that on the bed, guys? Can you see it? Looks like an XBox controller. You won't be getting that for Christmas. Because that would cost more than the advent calendar itself. Every kid dreams of getting one of my advent calendars. Nobody wants an XBox this Christmas. Why would you? Yeah I'm not gonna lie guys. I'm really struggling to figure out what I'm gonna put in the other few doors. Oh, hang on guys look what I've spotted. We've got a Cooley candle. Oh, and for the fourth door. You could get one of these. So you get the candle in the third one and then something to light it in the fourth one. Keep on scanning your fans Alex. They'll never notice. But that's it this advent calendar. I could only think of four doors... so... Link your description below! I know your house is big Zoella. But surely didn't take a year to walk around it and get all this shite to put in a calendar Point to that Zoe makes - it's that she didn't decide the price of the calendar. Which is a pretty bold statement. Because these tweets from Boots don't exactly claim that her innocence is all there. Zoella tweets out a cool picture of her lovely new pencil case that goes for about 500 pound retail price. And a girl by the name of Lizzy replies saying, "Can you please justify 50 pounds for the calendar please?" Where my input ends is there. Once that product is done, and I am happy with it, the retailer can decide how much they sell that for. That's completely out of my decision-making. But Boots replied, he wasn't even tagged in so they probably should have just um... left it lads. Not gonna lie, whoever's running Boots help on Twitter has really dropped her in it. They reply with, "Hi, Lizzy - we sell products at the recommended retail price, That's completely out of my decision-making. as set by the manufacturer or supplier. Thanks. - Huw" Hwu. Thank you Huw. Appreciate it, mate. One thing I'm not going to try and assume here is that Zoella's manufacturing it or supplying it. Because let's face it, that would require work. And we all know Zoe's not quite a fan of that one. She doesn't even write her own books. But she definitely had some form of decision on the pricing. Nobody makes a product and doesn't have some type of idea of what the price is going to be. That's just barmy to even believe that and for her to spunk that I think people are gonna believe it's...a bit mental. You know ii think the Zoella the creator of the product had no input on the pricing is literally insane. Especially because of the fact that the price of the calendar was cut by fifty whole percent the day the controversy started. Where's the twenty five quick gone? It seemed to be cut off the retail price, which means it probably could have been sold default, for 25 quid. Hey Zoe, it's Huw from from Boots help. I just wanted to ask if you've noticed any of the The tweets that have been sent your way for your calendar. Yeah, yeah, that's - that's the issues. I think I have realized. I think they kind of have. Did you want to say anything about it? You want us to - ? To cut the pricing in half? But...but I thought you said you don't set the pricing or, or you never set it in the first place. Yeah, but you don't control it, Zoe. Cut it out. Alright, we're cutting off. Now I think it would be unfair to judge the entirety of Zoella's product basement based off of a failed pricing of an advent calendar. So I went onto the Zoella Boots store and decided to have a little rummage, you know, just coming back to school time. You know, about to hit holidays. You know I want to get something for the kids, so. Zoella line's pretty good. Have a look at some of the products and see what I think about them. Oh, a journal. I mean, if you don't get your book ghostwritten. You could just sell an empty one. It's a good shortcut. Saves you time, makes you money. 14 pounds for a blank book. I mean, that is textbook scamming. Do you see what it there? Zoe here is also selling a warm and cozy mug set! And honestly, if you are a Zoella fan, I a hundred percent recommend you guys picking this up. Because you will need it. I'd call it an essential because if you're spending this much on other shite... You won't be able to pay your heating bill. Warm and cozy mug, as you freeze to death. What's a better way to spend Christmas? And also you can buy the journal so you could write down your last moments of your cold, icy death in Zoella's book. Is there a more fitting way to go? Do you know what you need Zoe? Do you know what you need? Personally, I would recommend a water bottle. Because you need that to heat up that cold, dead heart of yours. You know, I've spent 80 quid on this calendar for my daughter. You know I'm struggling to get by, you know? I'm really struggling. I - I bought a water bowl from Zoella's store, and the issue was just when I went to fill it up with water... I realized that we haven't paid the water bill.
