[Music] all right our racers are off this is it we're gonna see what they what they what they decide finally so this should be I I think this would be very exciting because I want to see what it is that the Jamie jet pulls out of his hat in order to in order to beat a guy like zoasty yeah and like I that those T's certainly has a better execution but I don't think he's actually that familiar with randomizers like I like I know he's running long but I think Gigi magenta might be a little more skilled in the randomizer routing part yes and and and and I think that's DJ Magette sedge and I think if he plays to that that's what's gonna give him the ability to to take out a guy like so see and we're gonna see what it is that the you know he decides to do and where he decides to go you know something like not having charged or not having high jump boots now so she's gonna be pretty used to not having high jumpers giving that he is he ran so much a low percent ice recently but you know those kinds of things can really affect your gameplay when when you're you're not used to them and and that's what our line randomizer will do for you so we have a vanilla more fault obligatory is this even randomized this is definitely randomized as we see Zeus picking up power bombs where first missiles should be it's pretty good pick up and I will see them sorry go ahead no I'm obviously said that is an excellent choice up yeah and we're gonna see them ahead to right now and head up towards the brights I'm repeating myself having charged was charged being greedy oh that is that is amazing so yeah that means that I that kind of thing is actually I think going to favor favor zoasty because he's in he has charged now he's not really gonna pick up very much ammo he you know he needs 1015 missiles and 10 supers and 5 power bombs and he has maybe a third of that already so he's very used to running running around this game with with very low items and being able to pick up charge immediately it's something that's gonna pay for him I think I think I'm gonna guess the GJ my Jeff Mike go to the left here retro printer nope I lied he's one straight up is this another one of those Christophe flow is always wrong the theme of this tournament so far as I'm just always wrong now this is interesting zoasty here checking old Mother Brain and being rewarded with a super missile pack that's probably the last one he wants but you we don't know he might want to pick up a bunch more to have 34 Ridley exist that is that is the fastest way to to damage and kill really having extra super missiles always helps there there's a lot of fights a lot of enemies too worried to be really useful yeah I'm DJ Magette decided to skip over that old mother bring so he is going to be down that missile panel we're gonna go see what what they pick open Bob trees over what do we got a bombed frieszo space jump jump my goodness Wow that is that's pretty huge yeah that's uh that's a very interesting item to see so early yeah I thought okay so I was commentating a race yesterday and I said I don't think speed art excuse me space jump actually opens up that much but then I was immediately proven wrong as runners when I went to for example the pantry and a couple other rooms where it was it was actually was required yes missus nice jump opens up a fair bit for me not only that but it makes those it makes those rooms kind of free having space shown where you can just face jump through the room and pick up anything that I want yeah so we see an e-tank in Terminator room that's a vanilla item there but that's okay so the runners not having any energy tanks right now that's probably a welcomed pickup I like this that we're seeing we're seeing very typical routing typically any percent routing from both of these players neither of these players have decided to you know shoot into brinstar through the retro brinstar path even though they picked up early power lines so I'm gonna see what happens when they go into early super super super is under the crumble bridge there zoasty going for I say I think this might just be holdover from his any percent hundred percent runs grabbing the seat my mom's first yeah I think it's actually much faster to head down and grab the reserve tank item first yeah I agree so here's where the routing comes into play from GG magenta definite allows me to pull him in ahead if he can nail its execution missiles for zoasty and GG Magette is probably gonna pick those up as soon as well we've got we got wave beams we have wave and charge for our beams already that's pretty exciting yeah this is actually yeah this is gonna enable our run to X Factor right so we're gonna see in all likelihood learning city X Factor's on thang tune from zoast we're definitely gonna see X Factor's on on drag on especially if he picks up speed booster you know that's the the special beam weapon there we're going to see that happen I think I don't know with TJ majestic familiar with that but that's definitely gonna enable like to round phantoon Z so having that as is huge we got we got bombs in the bottom of green brinstar that's the nice pick up nod he's super like tremendously required but certainly helps no well it's very nice because now they don't have to you know worried but so much about power bomb management right like so she picked up that extra power bomb pack probably because he doesn't know where Isis he's gonna want it at least ten power bombs possibly fifteen he gets Victorian if he never picks up ice and then without having regular bombs he's gonna have to constantly manage his power bomb inventory now having regular bombs he won't have to manage his powerbomb inventory as as studiously it were studiously and we're gonna see zoasty heading sported the all he's got to wash his health through this room typically oh he's going for the green cake lit or the whatever you call that lovely yeah I think oh yeah there you go I think he just forgot yeah see it's there there it is oh and must be free seed well there are no suits just yet I mean you know gravity could still be behind Ridley and barrier could still be behind trakula let's hope ya know that combination that combination is actually impossible because you'd have to have area to have great gravity behind them really but nevertheless you could still see those one of those two things I might call right now Oh speed booster oh my deepest let's go to waterway that's unbelievable not only that but I think for sure we're gonna see zoasty going up to the fight fan tune here she's in forgetting about waterway oh I don't like this it was to come back head down to waterway oh no he's farming oh man well no I yeah I think he just wants a little bit more energy because he's gonna have to shine spark through and I think where he was he wouldn't have made it all the way for DJ Magette picking up his ice beam that's definitely gonna be handy for a run we'll see which one of them decided to turn it off if they do wanted to use that x-factor because they're going to have to turn it on Wow high jump boots except for they actually need energy tanks right now I think they do need energy tanks yes having one energy tank is is risky do you think so she's gonna go to wreck ship i i 100% believe he's gonna go to wreck ship he has speed booster he has high jump he has ICS wave he has charge he has bombs he has ten missiles right this is this is exactly where he's the only thing he doesn't have his two energy tanks um but this is this is what he's used to this is no this is his wheelhouse so I i 100% believe that he is going to go up yeah he's got to do a bit of farming first day his energy is super low yeah yeah IIIi think at this point in time with ice wave charge I don't think he's going to pick up any more minor items I think he is going to just run through this game of checkers many major items oh look at this oh no yes he's going straight down well this is surprising I think I'm okay with this although I am too he's going up into space er it's very interesting that he skipped over x-ray despite having space jump I think you might just not be aware that you can get it fazer certainly helps him out right now yeah that's with this combination of weaponry I mean he's gonna he's gonna need 60 shots on Mother Brain too so like you know that's that's I think right where he wants to be what do you think we're gonna see from DJ Magette do you think he's gonna go to lecture first now that he has all this this Arsenal here um no I don't think so I think you know given the way he's been moving around I think he's been playing it safe so I think for sure we're gonna see him go down of course this could be you know be calling it wrong too I want to see him take some risks I think he needs to I I agree nobody has a suit yet so you know that's that's gonna be huge for first to find a suit is really gonna make a big deal McKenna I think those he is is he is going to be skipping a lot of minor items having charged having ice having live having spacer he doesn't need any any ammo and I think that that kind of stuff is gonna favor favor him whereas you know TJ Magette he keeps picking up super missiles you know he's got 20 right now I like here I like this he is going to check out x-ray we have seen gravity there quite a bit so really high incidence of soot that's right this is usually really good location to check mm-hmm so ste with the crepe quickly were rewarded with a reserve tank it was very nicely because we have seen many a time where you know something like gravity has been there and that that makes a huge difference on from when fighting phantom because it takes so little damage all right DJ Magette picking up his phaser at spacer that's vanilla I'm gonna item location there folks even realize that was vanilla vanilla is how often do you really grab spacer unless you're running condo you don't really need it unless you're actually good at this game you run the new editor centers yeah I used to pick it up I would not claim that I'm good at this game yeah but you do like door randomizers and stuff so you're on a whole different level playing field sure if you call that a different playing field all right DJ Magette is going into kraid and zoasty is continuing up red tower yeah this is this is kind of what I expected to see from zoasty now I didn't expect him to see to see him go down to create first but I do like that thought it's two items two major items not very far out of the way and if there is a suit or something down there you know he can continue his way down to lower norfair because if he picked up Varia then he would absolutely go down to fight Ridley so but now he has a couple more items he's better prepared for phantoon so I actually think that was very smart playing by him all right very nicely done DJ Magette Craig creep killing yeah rewarded with the reserve tank that it's very unfortunate yeah man we saw that when zoasty went in there a little bit earlier it is a super missile door there zoast II what runner has not has not done that [Laughter] [Music] GG Magette having a little bit of trouble in the party zone yeah those key hunters will troll you if you do not jump through the door to get them out of your way he's gonna get the energy tank here also vanilla after kraid I like this I like this we're gonna see if he goes down or if he goes up at this point in time if I were him I would go I would go down I would definitely check high jump boots there's no heat in that there is a major item there and possibly two miners if he's still looking for - so that's you know a nice area also there's ice beam which is a possible area to check as well I'd really like to see him do take that sort of that risk he is going down the elevator so I like this play from him we're gonna see how those things those teases the top learned Fantine very nice they can fancy look easy yeah it looks like you DJ Baudette doing exactly what you said heading towards a high number yeah I do I like this play and let this play if there's a good gonna it's gonna make it a little bit easier you know absolutely it's absolutely gonna make it a little bit just being able ScrewAttack through the enemy's Osos with the spiking of death strats to be save I missed that no zoasty has not saved that's that's very bold yes he's also skipping all the minors just like I said DJ Magette he looks like he's okay he's going up out of ice so this is interesting I don't like that I think he needs to take these risks here he doesn't have a lot of health to work with so I think if you get through some if he headed into the heated person or fair he would have to be very confident about that yeah yeah I thought first thing he might go down to crocomire there but it looks like he changed his mind those keep picking up the energy tank there in wreck ship energy tank so very very interesting because we saw him skip to the energy tank in right supers a little bit earlier oh oh DJ Magette tricking us he just went to refill his energy underneath red tower oh now he's going back up oh all right I think he needed that refill though I you know he never know when the X and next energy tank is gonna be up that's true he did he did need that inner that the energy refill bomb but now he's going up to two phantom it looks like I hope he checks Gauntlet here as well Josie gettin hit a couple of times here in attic but they be atomic yeah he did miss that one atomic I like this play from DJ Magette saving here before he continues on his way to fan tune I really think he needs to take more risks if I was DJ Magette I like I would just go go crazy or just take all the risks that you can yeah absolutely you you know that you're racing a guy like zoast and an execution is is not where you're gonna win any points you know just given given the skill diversions with you even that being said you know you know sleep hasn't saved at all wait dude oh she check the right side that was it rest preserve yes zoasty has checked that it is an energy tank it is very unlikely he's gonna go pick that up rates what about the sorry Mindy in stay there one so those he has checked right side supers it's an energy tank he has picked up wreck ship energy tank it was an energy tank and then wreck ship reserve was also an energy tank so wreck ship not panning out at all for zoasty which is very unfortunate now we see DJ Magette following in Sosa's footsteps and going up to wreck ship because if he had played he had stayed and played his cards a little bit differently down in norfair I think we would see him having a better set of items than zoasty look at that it's a reserve tank so there is nothing nothing at all in wreck ship and that is so unfortunate because DJ Magette could have had such a huge advantage over socity because we know now that all of the suits are down underneath there either we're gonna see either a suit in in meridia or and in norfair for sure the suits are in and down at the bottom there and now they can't that's up here and yet they can't be a gauntlet so I don't believe they could be at calmer so it's it's yeah like you said norfair order Maria yeah that and that's yeah this is very unfortunate for TJ Magette because I think that was that was his advantage just as you were saying and now he's up a phantom unless he likes it beats phantom then leaves if he beats fainting and knees but I I can't foresee that because I think he's going to check every single location you're looking for that suit he's gonna be looking for that suit oh that was very old did he arrange man 2 yes he enraged some Paul fine screw attack I thought he's not actually in any danger but it doesn't know he's not but it's yeah it cost time something else that gives OC that was a little bit more of advantage right because those he's gonna be heading down into the norfair now and he's gonna find that first suit one of those suits is in norfair and it's just which which one [Music] is it gravity or is it very so I think for sure we're gonna see zoasty pink because pink we're gonna see him go and check high jump into ice beam into crocomire down to bubble mountain so I think that is the way that is the order that I think we're gonna see zoasty check the items here in North um looking for that suit that's that's interesting too even he chose to pick up grapple be in there does not expect him to pick up yeah I was gonna say it's helpful if he doesn't have to be bruised Reed he wants to make the drag on fight real quick but he already has a booster so uh I'm not sure when it actually is relevant we'll see if he decides to use it he picked it up so seedless meridia maybe that that it could be something that he's thinking about and I I really don't fault him if he is thinking about that um that I think you know is a something that he'll he'll want he'll want he's got ice he's got speed booster he's got grapple now um and he's got high jump so those are the items that he's gonna want for the suit loose meridia so and if that's if that's what he's thinking then you know you're a hundred percent spot on four point eight ounce exuse to having to do for the farming and business center yeah DJ Magette you know pick checking that checking that right supers finding an energy shine picking it up I like that play that's gonna give him you know the safety net but you know he's up in wreck ship but he's gonna check all for these spots and he's gonna be disappointed I don't like this GG Magette needs to be super careful as he did not say before specter of a death no he did not say before he did say before phantoon but I'll get out of there that's so scary yeah I'm surprised that he's not taking advantage of space jump actually I think zoasty might die here alright you are actually correct nice reset it's a good thing he chose to save before doing the the he'll run there yeah yeah he did save down at the bottom of norfair and he does know that ScrewAttack so is he gonna most efficient way to find things and again he's looking for that suit you know he's good he's gonna find one item at high jump one item entice two items down here by crocomire and there's three at bubble Mountain but there there are a lot more time-intensive to check than these other four items you know once he finds that suit whatever that suit is that's gonna dictate his next move he's I think he's gonna stop looking at the major items and he's gonna continue on his is his quest energy tank at crocomire I'd like to see those pick it up there yeah and there he does he does pick it up I think he's starting to you know realize he needs a bit more of a safety measure for especially for these these runs from norfair Magette coming up on my favorite room what do we call this rid of the bowling bowling room and yes bowling I like some motion that we renamed it at the tender room because it's a great opportunity to check your social media and your tinder your what-have-you I don't possibility definitely a possibility that's probably the riskiest play you could make yeah but I mean you know you gotta you gotta you gotta play to your outs right like what what does my opponent have that that I could lose - you gotta you gotta know we're gonna see a lab arrive from zoasty pretty quick here as he entered hesitant towards lower norfair meanwhile DJ Magette he's heading towards the ship it looks like yeah I think he's I'm gonna gauntlet here and I like this play I like this play he's not gonna get rewarded with a suit but I I like this play it's pretty easy to check considering his space jump and screw tag right now so easy and zero danger here well plus six and e-tanks so here it is Oh ste with that lava dive going down in the lower norfair making it look easy but man that trick is really tough yeah I died of doing it three times in my last race ya know the Union Baudette getting only an energy tank there and gauntlet not actually picking it up very interesting choice for him not pick up but I guess he feels safe where he is right now yeah when he does go down to Brock Amira and find that very soon he's going to be sorely disappointed zoasty going to gold eateries oh I like this it is possible that the gravity suit is down here and he has the items to get out of here nope he does not want to have it so zoasty probably gonna go for fast blues here yeah since he did not he did he lost the crew attack it happens to be an ice beam and he has not yet he's not going back and pick it up at this point in time I don't think we will see him pick it up given that he's down here in lower norfair already this is this is really where you would once screwattack I don't think he's gonna bother with it anymore I wonder what my DJ image I will go first if he's gonna head towards a bubble Mountain and pick up those three items there or if he's going to head towards crocomire new board with his C room yeah I I actually really hope not I hope he chooses the same path that the Zosia is chosen which you know leads him straight down to crocomire given he's already checked I jump in ice because it actually like I said earlier is pretty much the most efficient way to check this area given given what they have you know they have speed booster so they can make them basically run right around and and get down to park bar very quickly [Music] yeah okay nope it looks like you're here right he's gonna go to bubble Mountain and we know because the suit is at Karma we want to see him in there first but I think this is play still it's still very reasonable absolutely there are three items up here and and grapple is uh you know a good a good distance away down underneath crocomire plus you have to fight crocomire and you might he not mean he might not want to do that he might not feel comfortable fighting crocomire although he does have charged so you know he he might not remember that or you might just think that these three items are more accessible and that's that's a perfectly reasonable blood we say thinks because we have we have the the site we know what's going on Zozi choosing to x-factor Ridley there's that x-factor that I've talked about pretty tough x-factor like super impressive to see him just make it make it and that's the only for work that had an incredibly impressive and I miss what was that speed boosters because of that can't impressive play at the tracker it was probably nothing useful I do believe it was it was an energy tank yeah those of those x-factors that is very impressive visors getting getting the first one is is somewhat I mean it's it's still it's still difficult because if the timing is pretty precise but it's like I've gotten the first one but getting it the second one that's ridiculously hard let alone getting three or four more vision reject one for another tech run into wave yes are there yeah I like I like this play I like this bike checking speed booster first and then checking wave checking the norfair Reserve is definitely the the play that I like to make as the last location to check Wow reserve tank as we serve tank beyond Gridley that is very unfortunate for these two items and that's a word that I was trying to avoid again unfortunate and well you know just need to need to break out your thesaurus it's really what I need to do find some other words [Music] these you might have chosen to say that's not a bad decision those teeth farming at the metal tyronza yeah they did they drop a ton of items so you know it's an easy quick farm for him that's lower norfair so yeah this is exactly the kind of thing that I was that I was talking about earlier that you know where you would find gravity in in lower down or fair or of area like in meridian Shakti yeah that lava dive is absolutely required I wonder how comfortable DJ Magette is with his lava diving skills well we're gonna find out when he goes to crocomire he will not be able to progress the game and he's checked everywhere else he has Lee has no more major item looking to check save if he wants to go into Meridian suit this I don't think we'll see that that's uh too much i I would I would agree I mean I think he's gonna go down to crocomire first for regardless so he's going to find very at that point excuse me at that point in time um and then you know from there that's he's probably gonna come to the conclusion to lava diabetes or norfair [Music] yeah just imagine if if he had done those those those those heated Rome runs and had had gone and down to crocomire first and had picked up the various suit I really think that that would have been it would have been it would have been his this would have been his rung so if you could give him him such an edge there was absolutely nothing up in the wreck ship and so she wasted a good amount of time going up there and checking it and then DS imitrex followed in his footsteps very unfortunate that is unfortunate so these these Gamble's are what we want what we want to see we want to see skill and Gamble's and so you know and we also want to see very a tool but it's a little bit late for that no no very abstract bothering to check the item behind Dragan he knows that he is done he does not care he does not want anything else he's going straight for Torian and there's that reverse a few very nice DJ Magette going down to lower norfair we'll see how comfortable he is with his lava dive in a second here yeah he has a great number more energy tanks than zoasty had so I think he should find it a little bit easier to pull this off also as I mentioned earlier that the the various and has been adjusted so he takes a half as much environmental damage with the item randomizer various suit it basically makes up for the gravity not having an environmental damage looks like a good setup Oh getting smoked by the wall face eating Nala Hey yeah he asked it has to jump off that that wall one time at least one time there Boop yeah so the Nama hey doesn't shoot and hit him and knock him back down having a wee bit of trouble there yeah this is not this is not an easy trick this is absolutely not an easy trick there then the nominee has heard for so much and you know DJ Magette yeah they hurt they hurt quite a bit it's it's easy to jump too high it's easy to jump into the spikes it's easy to get hit by the flames this there's nothing about that trick that is it is that is free even with high jump boots which makes it an awful lot easier zoasty just skipping over the the ship not bothering to save here I want to feel save at the table Torian I don't think he cares about the refill it it would restore to energy or oh sorry for his Oh No tu-tu-tu-tu-tu-tu energy tanks a number of missiles and supers I don't think he cares about heading towards the waiting room there's no waiting in this version of the game though is the golden statues are already at the bottom there no waiting just go go go another thing that DJ Magette is not is not doing here is the is the water ball trick to get across this room that would save him a bit of energy I wonder if he's just not familiar with that Metroid rooms from zoasty they're pretty pretty intense unbelievable yeah it's it's at this point in time it's very difficult to see so see messing up something going wrong for him yeah the only the only thing that could happen here is the his mother brain fight no I mean he has more than what he's used to right he has five energy tanks the same amount of the same amount of ammo that he's used to come on DJ
