Zeus & Beta Ray Bill Appear in Final Battle of Thor 4 + Guardians of the Galaxy vs The Grandmaster?

some believe that before the universe there was nothing they're wrong there was darkness it has [Music] i survived you my word i would return [Music] yo what is up everyone tay here i hope everyone is doing lovely today um okay so let's just get into it um first off i'm currently working on a longer video one of the you know hour-long videos probably that i'm really excited for where we're gonna be talking about you know the next big avengers mega event and i'm putting a lot of time into it but because that's taken me so long i figured i would drop this shorter thor love and thunder video because for one thing i said i was gonna do a thor love and thunder video when i put out the last video and also i really just need to get into the habit of doing more of these shorter videos which is actually perfect because a bunch of thor four tidbits have dropped online in the last few weeks that a lot of people have asked me questions about and everybody's waiting for the big thor love and thunder trailer drop which could be coming at any time now so i thought i'll do this short video and i'll just talk about a handful of things i want to talk about regarding thor love and thunder and do some theorizing and speculating based on some of this recent news and tidbits and toys and all that that have come out and hopefully that'll tide everybody over until the trailer drops and one more thing i'll just be straight up honest i'm kind of rushing through this video to get it done because i'm going out of town for a funeral in two days from the time i'm recording this and usually i'll spend just like two days just editing a video so if you notice the editing and stuff might be not as good as normal that's why because i'm rushing it but it won't be a regular thing but anyways enough of me rambling let's get into it well he has guardians of the galaxy back together again oh we're too fast okay so like i said in this video i have a handful of thor love and thunder topics i want to touch on before we talk about the big final battle which we'll talk about at the end of the video and in this section what i want to start off with is talking about what the guardians of the galaxy's role in the movie will be and also what the grand master's role in the film will be because it's been confirmed a long time ago that jeff goldblum will be returning in thor love and thunder as the grand master but there hasn't been a lot of discussion at least that i've seen about what his actual role will be in the movie so i thought that would be something interesting to talk about as well and also real quick um like i said the trailer is going to drop any day now it could drop like the day after this video comes out the trailer could come out and could once the trailer drops obviously it could totally disprove stuff and theories i talk about in this video hopefully for my sake that doesn't happen at least not too bad but uh i'm fully aware of that just so you know so if you're watching this video in the future after the trailers dropped and you're going oh look at all this stuff you got wrong uh yeah that's definitely a possibility and i'm cool with that but hopefully i'll at least get some stuff right so yeah but anyways okay let's jump into it so first like i said the guardians of the galaxy what will their role in the movie be and unfortunately at least if you're a guardians fan from everything we know about thor 4 it sounds like the guardians are going to have a pretty small role in the movie because the guardian's cast was only on set filming in australia for a few weeks so my guess is is that the guardians are going to show up early on in the movie when we first pick up with thor and we'll see what he's been up to since avengers end game with the guardians kind of cruising out there in space but you know like i said since they were only on set for a short period of time they probably won't have a huge role in the film but that said i do think we could see a cool action sequence with thor and the guardians early on in the movie and that this action sequence could very well be a altercation of some kind with the grand master on now this is only speculation at this point you know we're just talking theories but like i said jeff goldblum has confirmed he is returning as the grand master in thor love and thunder but beans how we know that gore is going to be the main villain of the movie and there doesn't seem to be a ton of potential crossover between gore and the grand master i've kind of racked my brain trying to figure out what the grand master's role in the film will be and there were some set photos that came out about a year ago which it's kind of easy to forget that these set photos exist because they literally came out last february back when the movie was filming and it was in those set photos where we saw our first glimpse of chris hemsworth as thor in the movie and also the rest of the guardians of the galaxy and we can see that thor is in the red vest and jeans looking very much like thunderstrike thor from the comics and then star-lord is in a new cosmic trench coat that looks much more metal quite literally since it is decked out in all of this armor plating similar to some of the concept art we saw back when the first guardians of the galaxy movie came out but anyways the point is is that there were some other set photos that dropped around this same time back last year that also showed a bunch of colorful looking cosmic trash where we see like spaceship parts and stuff like that and this set you know it's just a set so we don't get to see the whole picture of what it'll look like in the movie but based on this set and this cosmic trash this looks very much like what we saw in thor ragnarok of the cosmic trash heaps on sakaar and considering that we know the grand master is going to be returning in thor 4 for at least a small appearance it's not surprising to think that sakar will also briefly appear in the movie as well and one of the common formulas we see in mcu movies is that very often they start off with a big opening action sequence in civil war it opened up with the lagos crossbones action scene and in thor ragnarok it opened up with thor battling surter in muspelheim and then in guardians of the galaxy vol 2 it opened up with the guardians taking down the interdimensional abelisk monster and so on and so on you get the point so it's not crazy to assume that thor love and thunder will also feature a big action sequence early on in the movie and considering that the guardians will have a small role in the film and that their role will probably be towards the beginning of the movie as well i think there's a good chance that this opening action sequence we see in thor love and thunder could include thor and the guardians teaming up on some kind of cosmic adventure and on top of that when you also take into account these set photos of sakaar and that the grand master will also have a role in the movie what we may end up seeing for that big opening action scene is thor and the guardians returning to sakhar and getting into some kind of battle or altercation with the grand master i mean you know who knows what the exact specifics of the scene will be or the details will be but the last time we saw the grand master it was in the post credit scene of thor ragnarok after he crashed his ship trying to capture hulk and thor and then we also saw the grand master very briefly as an easter egg in the end credits of guardians of the galaxy vol 2. we just saw him off to the side dancing and on top of that we also know that the grand master is the collector's brother so since we are going to have a scene in the movie with thor and the guardians and there's already a lot of crossover connection with the collector in the first guardians movie and the grand master in thor ragnarok it just seems fitting that the grand master would also be in the same part of the movie that the guardians are in and that this could be some kind of battle where thor and the guardians go and capture the grand master to deliver him to cosmic justice or something like that for his crimes against the galaxy you know something along those lines like i said it's hard to say exactly what will happen but i'm sure you can imagine what i'm saying happening in the movie you know and then after that scene is over that could be when thor gets called back to earth or something like that and parts ways with the guardians for the rest of the film and goes off and meets up with jane and valkyrie and korg back on earth and from there on out the rest of the movie focuses on those characters and their conflict with gore the god butcher so yeah but anyways enough talking about thor and the guardians let's move on now because i still have a lot of stuff i want to cover and i'm trying to move quickly so um let's move on now and talk a little bit about jane and team thor and also e tree and gore [Music] [Music] okay so as i'm sure many of you have seen by this point um a handful of new thor love and thunder toys were revealed online recently including a big lego set as well as stormbreaker and mjolnir replicas you know and some action figures and all that stuff and all of this in the promo art that was featured with these is a big part of what's kind of renewed some questions about what's going to happen in the movie based on what we see in these toys and the art with them and one of the questions that i've seen is more people asking what's going on with jane and mjolnir now i've already talked about this in you know a few past videos so i'm going to keep it kind of brief but as we can see with the toys and promo art the mjolnir jane will wield in the movie is covered in cracks and the reason for this is because this is not a new version of mjolnir but the same mjolnir we saw destroyed by hella in thor ragnarok and we know this because footage leaked online several months ago that shows the crew filming this scene that appears to show the first time in the movie that jane will get the power of thor now i can't show the actual footage the actual leaked footage so i'll just show some of the screenshots from that video which they are a little bit grainy but they're good enough for you to see what's going on but in the footage we can see jane is on this cliffside location where there's eight asgardian soldiers watching over this kind of royal shrine and what this is is this is the location where odin died and mjolnir was destroyed in thor ragnarok because you can see the rock where odin last sat and then in the middle of it you can see this domed enclosure that is holding the broken remains of mjolnir or at least you know assuming they're broken and then in these other shots from the video we see where jane enters this scene and we can see that when she gets close to mjolnir she is thrust up into the air and is shaking around as if she's being shocked by lightning so based on this footage and these pictures how i imagine this scene is going to play out in the movie once special effects are added is that when jane gets near mjolnir some kind of connection is made you know between jane and mjolnir and this is when mjolnir will give jane her power the power of thor or you know something along those lines so that's all i'm going to say on that i just needed to quickly kind of touch on that topic real quick and get that out of the way because it kind of ties into some of the stuff we are going to talk about next so let's move on to that fine okay so in this section i want to talk about gore and also what e tree's role could possibly be in the movie because a while back it was pointed out online that peter dinklage had been added to the thor 11 thunder imdb page but then just recently peter dinklage himself came out and basically confirmed his appearance in the movie i mean he didn't come straight out and say it but he hinted at it in a very obvious way that made it pretty clear he is going to be returning as e tree in thor love and thunder so with that news i've been thinking well if etria is returning what is his role in the movie going to be so i thought that would be something fun to talk about but before we get to e3 let's quickly touch on gore gore the godbutcher who of course is going to be the main villain of the movie and will be played by christian bale but one thing that is interesting is in the thor love and thunder lego set that we recently got some images of one of the minifigures that is included in that set is the minifigure of gore and that gore minifigure has a little black sword just like the little black sword hella had in some of the thor ragnarok lego sets now in the comics gore is just your average alien bean or at least that's how he starts off but what ends up giving him his power is this super powerful black mass this black sludge called the all black or the necro sword and back when taika wetiti was making thor ragnarok a few years ago he revealed that hella's powers in that movie were inspired by gore and the all black in the comics which makes sense because you can see hella has like this black sword and this black armor that can kind of do what she wants it to based on her own thoughts but they never actually said what her armor or you know her weaponry was actually called in the movie they never gave it a name but then in episode two of what if that came out earlier this year which was the guardians of the galaxy episode marvel studios seemed to officially reveal that hela's headdress and weaponry are in fact called the necro sword oh that woman i taste a necrosword courtesy of the asgardian goddess of death now the reason i bring all of this up is because it could mean that gore's powers in thor 4 will be the same as hellas powers and thor ragnarok or you know that they will be somehow connected in some way i'm not exactly sure if that'll happen and and if it does happen how they will make that connection but them confirming in that what if episode that hella's headdress and weaponry is in fact called the necro sword is a pretty big deal since thor 11 thunder is coming out later this year with gore being the villain and that actually originally being his weaponry and powers in the comics but anyways the reason i bring up the necro sword and hella and gore and all of that is because in the comics the all black the necro sword is extremely extremely powerful and in thor ragnarok hella was so powerful that she was able to destroy mjolnir which up to that point in the mcu destroying mjolnir seemed pretty unthinkable so it brings up the question was it the power of the necro sword that gave hella the ability and the power to do that to destroy mjolnir and if it was then could that play into gore having the necro sword in thor love and thunder because we know that mjolnir is going to be a huge part of thor love and thunder because it will likely be the source of jane's power so if the necro sword is the source of gore's power in the movie and the necro sword is powerful enough to destroy mjolnir and maybe even stormbreaker then that could make gore a very very difficult villain for thor and jane to defeat now i don't really have some big crazy theory on where that could go in the movie i just thought it was interesting to kind of put those pieces together but at this point we just don't know enough about what's going to actually happen in thor 4 and what the necro sword and the all black if gore is even going to for sure have those in the film we're just basing this on the fact that that is gore's source of power in the comics so i just thought i would mention it to kind of you know throw out to you guys for you to mull over and maybe you can come up with something else and kind of add on to it but um it does kind of tie into what eatery's role could maybe be in the movie as well because like i said peter dinklage recently came out and basically confirmed that he is returning as e tree in thor 4. so i've been trying to think of some ideas on how etria is going to return and what his role in the movie is going to be and one possibility i thought of is that maybe e tree will now be living on earth in new asgard with the rest of the asgardians because in avengers infinity war eitri said that the rest of the dwarves that lived with him on nidavelir were killed by thanos and the black order when they came to have etri make thanos the infinity gauntlet so if that's the case and itri is just up there in space all alone then it would make sense that once the asgardians had settled new asgard that someone would go and say hey etri you know you've always been an ally to asgard do you want to come live with us on earth so you're not here just all by yourself so you know that's one possibility that would make sense but um then another possibility is that maybe itri is going to be in the film because thor or someone goes to him to have him forge some new kind of asgardian weapon or something like that which you know that idea is a little bit more obvious beings how that's how he was introduced to us in avengers infinity war but uh they could totally kind of repeat that and have him make some other super weapon in this movie or another possibility is maybe e tree is the one that reforges mjolnir maybe instead of mjolnir magically reforming in jane's presence maybe it had already been reforged by e tree and put back together and then placed in that little domed shrine and then maybe when jane gets close to it the same thing happens that we talked about earlier where she is you know makes a connection with it and gets her powers so something like that is a possibility however i do have one other idea on what e tree could possibly do in the movie and that is maybe e tree is the one who makes thor and jane's new armor now i should say in the comics jane's armor is more magical and just kind of appears on her when she picks up mjolnir but that whole concept in the comics was kind of tied to the secret identity part of the storyline when the female version of thor was first introduced because when the female version of thor was first introduced in the comics in jason erin's the mighty thor comics her character was a mystery and no one knew who the new female thor was and then later it was revealed that it was jane so the armor that jane had was would magically appear on her when she would pick up mjolnir and it kind of tied into that whole secret identity thing but given everything we know about thor love and thunder the whole secret identity thing is not going to be adapted into the movie so in the movie with the armor instead of it being something that just magically appears on her it might just be something she puts on which if that was the case then you know someone would have had to have made it and forged it so maybe that someone is itri and a few weeks ago some mcu promo art leaked online that thor is also going to have this crazy colorful armor including this big winged helmet that is inspired by the classic thor armor and old comics so maybe in the movie it will be revealed that this crazy over-the-top armor that thor is wearing and also the armor that jane wears will be some kind of super powerful uru metal armor that's enchanted with magic and made by itri for some big moment in the film like for instance this could be the armor that thor wears in the big final battle of the movie against gore because maybe thor and jane need some kind of special magical uru armor that can withstand the powerful energy of the necro sword since the necro sword was capable of destroying mjolnir in thor ragnarok you know theoretically if all of this kind of you know if it all lines up that way like we've been talking about so yeah but anyways speaking of the final battle that is actually what i want to talk about in the final section of this video so let's move on and get to that okay so in this section let's start off by going back to those recent thor love and thunder lego sets that were revealed you know a week or two ago well actually to be clear it was just one lego set and it's titled the goat boat and as we know from past sets for mcu films these lego sets are actually pretty good when it comes to accurately revealing what big action sequences will be like in the movie and in this set we see you know what i'm just going to refer to as team thor which is thor jane king valkyrie and korg engaged in a cosmic battle of sorts with gore out in space and there's actually several important details in this set that gives us some key information about what is happening in this moment from the movie and first of all there is the obvious the goats and the boat because as we know thor love and thunder is going to heavily adapt a lot of its story elements from jason aaron's thor comics especially the mighty thor and the gore saga in aaron's thor god of thunder series and two things that stand out in this set that are taken directly from the jason aaron thor comics are actually the goats and the boat because the two goats pulling this ship are the magical asgardian goats tooth nasher and tooth grinder and then the ship the goats are pulling is also a concept that was heavily featured in the aaron thor comics where the asgardians have these flying boats modeled after ancient viking ships that act basically like a spacecraft because they can cruise through space and you'll notice that in the lego set the ship actually says asgard tours on the side of it and the reason for this is because since we last saw new asgard in avengers endgame it has now become a big tourist attraction on earth and this ship is actually from one of the rides in new asgard that will presumably take passengers up and fly them around above you know so they can get an overhead view and there's actually been some leaked concept art as well as some leaked set photos that show this exact attraction in new asgard called asgard tours where we can see this little shack and some of these flying ships all lined up on these short runways so based on all of this these you know the concept art the set photos and now this lego set i'm assuming what happens is that at some point in the movie thor and the others need to travel into space but they don't have a spacecraft at their disposal at this point so they instead hook up the goats tooth nasher and tooth grinder to the front of one of these ships and then use it as a sort of makeshift spacecraft so they can fly into space and you'll probably remember that a couple of months ago this thor loving thunder promo art poster leaked online and when it came out taika with tt tried to play it off like it wasn't real but at this point it has been confirmed to be real and this poster is also just filled with little important details for what's going to happen in the movie and down at the bottom of the poster we can see artwork that perfectly matches up with the imagery from this lego set where we see thor jane valkyrie and korg on this same ship being pulled by the same asgardian goats and i bring up the poster because there's two important details on the poster that matches up with the imagery and the art we see on the thor love and thunder lego set and that is that this ship appears to be flying through the bifrost and that stormbreaker appears to have been wedged into the ship's bow at the front sort of like it's powering the ship through the bifrost which this makes sense because we know from avengers infinity war that stormbreaker does have the power to open the bifrost so we know this is possible so stormbreaker on the ship and them flying through the bifrost is one detail and then another important detail that we can see is on the image that's on the back of the thor ford lego set and in that image we can see that this ship there flying has now appeared to have landed on some kind of planet and what it actually looks like is they've landed on the surface of the moon however the fact that thor and the others are shown on both the poster and on the lego set flying the ship through the bifrost would seem to suggest that wherever they're flying to is somewhere much further away out in distant space and not so close to earth so even though it looks like the moon and the lego packaging where this scene actually occurs in the movie is probably on some other distant planet or maybe some other distant moon somewhere further out in space which a while back taika watiti released some photos online that showed him and his daughters on one of the sets for thor love and thunder and you can see that the set they are on looks like it's some kind of cosmic planet terrain so perhaps the set that is shown in these photos will be the same planets or location that is from this lego art but anyways i'm kind of going off on a tangent let's talk about what the conclusion is of all of this or you know the potential theoretical conclusion well considering that gore is included in this set and that he is shown in battle with the others i actually think there's a pretty good chance that this lego set could be a depiction of the big final battle in the movie or well maybe not the big final battle but at least the beginning of the final battle because what we are seeing in these lego images matches very very closely to a big scene from the comics in the final issues of the gore saga where three versions of thor odinson from three different points in time all team up together to stop gore and when they do this they travel through space to gore's planet on a asgardian boat exactly like this one because in the comics the final battle with gore actually starts off in space on this cosmic asgardian boat and then it kind of transitions further out into space and then eventually down on gore's planets just below them and in the comics that planet is called the black world of gore and this planet is far out in space in a future timeline where gore has basically made his base of operations and what he's doing on this planet is this is where he has taken hundreds of gods from all over the universe and placed them into captivity and is using them as forced labor to build his gigantic god bomb and the god bomb is a device that gore is having them build so he can then use it to wipe all gods out of existence throughout all of history so in the comics at that point when the three thors show up they are not just there to stop gore but they are also there to free all of the hundreds of gods that gore has captured so maybe this planet that we are seeing in this lego set is actually going to end up being the black world of gore that will show up in the third act of the movie for the big final battle in fact parts of the jason aaron gore saga parts of the final battle in that story do take place on a moon out in distant space near gore's black world and i had actually forgotten this until i went back and was re-reading some of those later issues in preparation for this video in fact i just did it now while i was editing and i had to include this because parts of it do actually take place on a moon what happens is the three thors are battling gore out in the space around gore's planet and one of the thor's i think it's king thor ends up using the thor force to blast gore and it blasts him so far away that he lands on a moon hundreds of miles away and then the thor's follow him over there and part of the big final battle actually takes place on that moon and another moon related thing in that final battle is that the god bomb that gore is making all of his captured gods build for him is actually the size of a small moon itself so yeah that's worth noting as well but the fact that parts of the big final battle in the gore saga actually do take place on a moon in distant space that actually seems like a pretty big deal to me especially when you look at this lego set and how closely it matches the final battle from the gore saga comics where we have the ship and the team thor battling gore out in space on a moon very much like what happens in the comics so i'm glad i caught that and it definitely just makes me think even more that this lego set is probably depicting one of the moments from the big final battle of the film now that said if that is what happens or something close to what happens just because the only characters that are featured in this lego set are thor jane valkyrie korg and gore does not mean that those will be the only characters included in the big final battle of the movie because as we know it's been confirmed that russell crowe is going to be in thor 4 as the olympian god zeus and there's a possibility that zeus will only have a short role in the movie as one of the gods that gore kills on his war path against all gods in the universe however like i just said in the comics a lot of the gods that gore encounters end up being captured and taken to his planet so if they take that concept from the comics and adapt it into the movie then perhaps once we get to the big final battle at the end of the film where team thor arrives on gore's world and freeze all of the gods then those gods naturally could join in with the final battle and fight against gore and gore's minions because you know that is basically what happened in the comics which something like this i think would be super awesome because it would provide marvel studios with a big scene where they could introduce several new characters and also have a few easter eggs to some others for instance like i said we know that zeus is going to be in the movie we don't know how big his role is going to be but we know he is at least going to show up so it's not crazy to think that other olympians like aries or hercules could be introduced in the movie as well and a scene like this would also be a cool way to integrate beta ray bill into the movie because there's long been rumors and reports that beta ray bill is going to be introduced in thor 4 which if he is then maybe he could be another one of the you know quote unquote gods that gore has captured and taken to his planet which would then provide a way for him to team up with thor and jane in the big final battle once the gods are freed or you know again something along those lines anyways we should call the video here at this point uh i hope you guys liked it like i said it was just a very fun kind of loose speculation theory video uh to tide you guys over until the thor love
