Young Monks Receive An Unusual Surprise In Bhutan 🇧🇹

very good morning ladies and gentlemen I think you are also surprised to see me like this which I'm wearing a very traditional dress in Bhutan and today is a new day here which I'm super excited about never mind about how big is this dress for me I think there are lots of adjustments needs to go for it I just put it on uh without knowing how I have to set it up as it has lots of different things that we have to use so I think I will ask reception or my driver to try to help me this is the belt and I'm not sure if it goes outside or inside and uh lots of other things that we need to put things together to make it a perfect fit for me but the color of it I just love it and I wanted to show you how is the first impressions but later on once I have the full setup up and once it's fully adjusted for my body then I'm going to show you how it looks like and I will take few pictures with it last night I've been spending some time on the Square just sitting thinking to myself not filming anything and I realized as you travel a lot you lose that wow effect when you travel to new destinations of course I love to go back to the countries I'm already familiar with and I enjoy my time so much but I am almost never say like wow that was amazing it was the best country or something like that last time I had such a feeling was in Afghanistan which was completely different type of traveling for me and it was very unique and authentic and it was few months back but I felt that feeling again in Bhutan and I am so surprised positively of course and so impressed and I love every second of it and how authentic is this country how quiet is it how respectful are the people or how happy they are at the same time I just love the nature I love the religious U places like the temples and monasteries which we're going to visit so yeah when you travel so much you lose that effect but I feel like I got that effect back yesterday and I'm sure we're going to explore more and enjoy this beautiful country let me show you what I am exactly talking about so I had a beautiful night sleep right here and I had actually very cold temperature but this setup which is actually a heated blanket not exactly blanket but the bed itself is getting warmed up and this was the first time I have ever used such a thing and it was quite amazing I plus I had also the heater on top of that uh temperature dropped uh below zero so it was freezing yesterday but my room was great great and at some point I had to actually turn off uh the heater underneath me because it was really hot so let me show you what I was talking about guys this country is so amazing so unique uh we are in the capital city this is the main Square where I'm staying and it's so quiet it's so interesting check this out this is my morning views as soon as I woke up I opened the window I made a cup of Cofe for myself and enjoy this incredible views to the mountains and this is the clock tower which is the main Square in the capital city as you can see so quiet like hardly any cars pass from here and kids and adults are going to work and school and then in the distance you can see the beautiful mountains and there's actually Buddha statue right there which we're going to go actually visit today so yeah this is how incredible is it I mean it feels like some Village Mountain to town somewhere that has a really small population in indeed it's like a small town but in in reality we are actually in the capital city which is so surprising for me to have this feeling I think in South Asia you cannot get um any feeling like that any any capital city in in in South Asia I might say Maldives Mal was um like less populated area but it's also czy crazy with all these motorcycles and cars and it's really tiny Island but here I just smell happiness and I feel happiness it's just incredible how how beautiful is it guys this view has been incredible and this hotel was really nice as well I am so glad that I got such a room with a beautiful view so bhan I am impressed I love it I shared with my family friends the pictures from yesterday I just love this place and I'm so excited for today's trip to see where we go and what we do who we meet I'm sure that was not up it's going to be incredible experience all right guys this is the beginning of the day and I wanted to show you the views how I slept last night also my traditional dress it has actually name which I always forget it's called go I think it's g h o and then for woman it's called Kira so for a man it's go I think go g h o such a beautiful weather today was uh little open Skies and white clouds in the distance and today we are going to do exploration and our first stop is this beautiful Buddha statue which is 544 M 54 M which is crazy number it's as big as any building kind of and yeah so how old is this place started in 2006 and they took quite long they had completed in 2015 only wow so it took around uh almost like n years nine years nice wow it's impressive so big 54 M and with this beautiful golden colors and we just passed by also stupa which we haven't actually noticed that so is this type of a stupa what what what's the style of it ohy what oh those one yeah it's nepales nepales style so this is the nepales style stupa we're looking at and everything is so colorful it's a quite a big Square so is it possible to go inside or yes okay can we film inside inside you're not okay only outside only outside yeah I think the best thing would be if you walk to the Views the Viewpoint and then from there we can uh show you the the front face of the Buddhist statue which looks incredible how is my dress called is it go or it's go for men it's called as go go and k k Kira is for woman Kira Kira for woman and for men is go g h o g h o g h o go go go okay so I was right yeah this morning like I had it on my notes I knew that it's go but I wasn't sure if I pronounced it correctly so it's GH o so go that's the name of the beautiful NE uh Nepali bhani dress I am wearing right now all right seems like we are getting right now to the front of it look at this it's so beautiful and so huge and from exactly where I was staying from my hotel room I had actually views to one side of this Buddha statue so from anywhere in the city you can actually see it as it's so massive and on top of the mountain uh Lea I think based on my experience I feel like every time uh Buddhists normally build their religious places on top of something always higher grounds is that correct yeah usually it's built in the higher top so that every people can see yes from a distance from the distance and they will be blessed yes from distance when they see the statue yeah and also shows like a power and shows impact on the people it's always the higher ground higher than where people normally live yeah amazing so basically this is probably the highest point in the city and they found a little U straight ground and that's where we have the beautiful buddist again check out the beautiful views to incredible mountains and then here's the the Buddha statue just in front of us super impressive look at this beautiful structure so gigantic so beautiful so colorful and we made actually time to be inside too which was very beautiful it's not allowed to film anywhere in Bhutan inside the temples and Monas so you need really special permission but uh I think we should keep the beauty of it as a secret which was amazing so inside was very beautiful and uh we also took lots of pictures as we've been walking through this structures all of them are golden colors and it's very beautiful Leila hi you've been hiding Lia can you tell us a little bit more about the inside so you were telling me there's 121,000 how many Buddha statues ,000 small statues of Budd 100 125,000 25,000 small statues of small statues W that was very very impressive and uh in also we were talking about actually uh the hierarchy in the government in the Kingdom so basically king and the religious head head of the religion is in the same level yeah and they wear the Yow scarf okay they're the one wearing yellow scarf on their shoulder yeah and on the flag which means that the yellow FL Yellow Part on the bhutanese Flag represents that yeah well the K the political sorry political and then orange the Buddhism Buddhism and then you also were telling me about the dragon we have dragon in Middle it represent the kingdom it's known as land of thunder dragon uhhuh yeah nice so yeah the Yellow Part basically represents the kingdom and the orange color on the flag um it's representing the religion the Buddhism and then dragon is the representing the country in general and Lily uh Lia was telling me also that Dragon uh how was the local name for ban you don't say Bhutan in Bhutan right du juk your country's name is juk Du it mean Dr du the land thunder dragon thunder dragon okay amazing so yeah that's uh how you know where's the Dragon Dragon name comes from that's the land of the fire fire dragon thunder thunder dragon thunder dragon so uh it's been amazing we've been inside we've been outside took lots of pictures I think it's one of the nice attractions you can come and check out especially enjoy the beautiful views to the mountains and if you look really far behind these clouds actually there are roadside small village houses and little businesses like here Ura bar it seems like this is another business and uh we might go check out this one looks quite authentic too and as you can see like every little business no matter what is it but it's so authentic so beautiful and uh they put lots of effort to the Arty work on the walls and how the building in general is built out look at this for example this is I think they make some Momo and uh some different food some dessert possibly ah we have doggies here hi doggy and then this is the what I'm talking about all this beautiful artwork beautiful but even even uh we don't have the visibility on this side but this side is quite beautiful we can see the mountains in the distance actually on the other side it's kind of like a park and there's actually snow even uh during this month March April we can still find the snow on top of the hills there which is beautiful but we have a reason why we have stopped by here Lea going to explain us uh where we we are I I can see 108 different stas here and uh yeah right now we are in dapas here you will get to see 18 sta the reason to build this sta was in 2003 our country had a battle with Indian asames in South uhhuh and to like this sta was built to in like to honor the the people who died during the conflict during the time of conflict okay so 2003 it was in 2003 that was the fight the the conflict and 2004 they build this started the building that so yeah so in in our surroundings there's 108 different stupas and you might be asking why 108 because 108 is a more like a spiritual and special number in Buddhism right so it's it's same with the stupa building but at at the same time when someone dies they put this white Flags uh all over around the country and that number is also 108 so that's basically holy and religious number that uh people refer to to build structures like this and uh put the flags when someone dies in the family so it's a quite interesting place to see uh as it's very historical and it's this one includes 108 or this is 109 it includes 100 so the small one's 108 and then the big one is is going to be the 1008 so the views are quite beautiful and there are lots of tourists here and I feel like everyone stops here right Lila anyone anyone so where are we going right now from which city to which city we have uh started from timu the capital city so now we are going to Paka we heading to Paka Paka Puna okay is it a is it a big city punakha actually in olden days Puna used to be the capital city of pan oh really before uh Timo yeah before Timo it used to be capital of pan later in like 1950s they have shifted to Tempo nice and yeah it's one of the beautiful places please and not so big like Tim not not so big yeah but seems like all the tourist routes are passing by from here as there are so many guides and so many tourists at the moment and I am one of them obviously and yeah it's a beautiful historical place to come
