I Visited Singapore's Worst Mall

singap in my opinion one of the best malls are Marina Bay Sands and Jewel and that made me wonder what is the worst Mall in Singapore like that's when I found an intriguing Reddit post titled what are the worst shopping centers in Singapore and a lot of people mention the mall I have never even heard of all right so we are here upper sang Shopping Center and here are the rules spend at least $100 I heard it's a ghost town inside and I want to support them two inspect every corner of the mall three don't get caught by security because Singapore malls are extremely strict on filming so the question is why do some people call this the worst Shopping Center in Singapore phip says the worst and worst shopping mall there are also some shops that sell sheep's heads and buy dog meat I love dogs so the dog part is a bit concerning I think he meant that there's a shop that sells dog meat I need to investigate nisam says lots of shops are closing down seems like it's stuck in time one of the escalator has been out of the order for the past 3 to 4 years I want to see if the escalator is still not operating June says the one star is given to the Teo restaurant for the great food and service the M alone deserves zero star yeah some other people said that Teo restaurant is nice so I think I know what I'm trying for lunch all the reviews made me a bit scared but I think it's time to explore all right we're inside and it's so [Music] quiet see a lot of the shops are not even open so I walk a bit further in I hear some people talking a bit energetic I think this is the main area let's explore oh hey nisam good news I mean probably not a good news but the escalator it's still not working the fact that there's no people it feels kind of eerie it's like mostly beauty shops and massages I love massages so I would like to try one out later but hey there's a jewelry shop again the rule is that I must spend $100 here let's try to spend some money oh I finally see people I feel so relieved I think it's Chinese food quite a lot of people it's called y n kitchen wall looks goodly and over here is curry Fish Head this one looks good too A lot of people more broken escalators oh hi I heard there's a a good um tou restaurant do you know where it is restaurant over there downstairs okay I think I'll check that out thank you my viewer told me the tiu restaurant is at level one let's go yep I need to go to toilet first surprisingly it's cleanly oh W this type of toilet I haven't seen for a long time honestly one of the better Mall toilets it felt clean and when you wash your hands you can even choose between automatic or manual so sful hi is this the to2 restaurant yeah I found it thank you oh yes I heard it's good it's got fragrant Garden I just wonder why there's no people I thought it was popular okay let's check out the menu I think I never really came to te2 restaurant this is so cool can I have the fragrance flaming pork sha uh jasmine rice and fresh coconut okay while waiting for the food to arrive I'm going to do some work on my phone using the super highspeed internet in this mall sorry just kidding this mall does not have Wi-Fi as expected but when I chestnut and even fried shallots at the top this is so interesting uh wow what a great meal so the total was 31.5 Singapore dollars which mean I have to spend $68 45 more yes I'm not good at math since we are at the ground level let's explore level one first that was a cool shot right basically I had to put my camera here then run all the way over there take the stairs down do my talking and come up using this escalator so a lot of work I'm tired if you appreciate it please leave a comment thank you but to be honest there's nothing much at level one there's a very old looking clothes shop an art school and a bunch of open space let's check out what's outside it's really a cool view it almost reminds me of Hong Kong how it's so narrow and kind of feels old I think I'm starting to understand why this mall is so unpopular it's because like if you come here expecting to see like all the famous shops like boost yakum toast box don't have zero but I feel like that is the charm because nowadays A lot of the newer malls yes they look clean but a lot of the malls have similar stores inside but this mall No in fact there are like literally no no stores but we must continue to explore again three Rs I must spend $100 I must inspect every corner and I cannot get caught by the security guard not an interesting shot watch theer the look very [Music] vintage I think that was like a mama shop I think we also finished exploring level two honestly nothing much I'm shocked I see stores at level four which that seemed unaccessible because remember the the escalators they were not operating ah okay but the stairs are over there so I guess to go to level four I need to use the stairs which makes me wonder why the level four tenants are not angry because I thought it was totally unaccessible all right guys we have came to level four that is not easy to access because you have to take the stairs and not many mods like you go up the stairs and you are greeted by tenants that are not open with shutters down again I have to inspect all corners of this mall in okay I must tell you level four feels a bit different I know people look scary there's a gaming shop ma agency and massages and there's a huge furniture shop that occupies like half of the building over there but besides those nothing much but there is a shop called Singapore fat which sounds insulting oh wait this is cool there's actually like an indoor bridge that connects to the other side of the building nothing much here just a restaurant and of course more broken escalators or maybe I should say under renovation or under repair all right so I jumped off to get to level three nothing much here as well just an AB Zone all right let's move on to level two oh yep I kind of expected this and at this point I will be disappointed if it was working let's move on this is getting tough I've walked way too much and I still have to spend $674 and I think I really explored all Corners look the thing is only about 20 to 30% of all the tenants are open and a lot of the businesses are not retail so it's really difficult to spend money we did a lot of cool shops though this shop specializ is in stamps [Music] you might be saying hey you came to a new mall yes I did two reasons reason hello meow reason one I inspected all corners of that mall and there's no way I can spend additional like $60 reason too this mall also very hated among redditors idolism says horrible infrastructure confusing layout crowded beyond belief and horrible infrastructure he he said that twice permit cat says only one escalator that one escalator that bottlenecks all the time let's see if it's really true and I must spend the rest of the money here all right we're inside and instantly I can feel it just so so different from the mom we we were just s immediately I noticed all the big chains like Yoshinoya gcha it looks like a normal nice mall to me but let's see I love SpongeBob it's my first time buying things from vending machines like this I wonder how it works W nice okay I do not want this crab guy I forgot his name I'll be very happy if I get SpongeBob or Patrick and all right let's go to this floor above and according to hermit cat this is the only escalator in this mall if that's true it makes sense that it will be very congested here because this is a big mall okay we are at level one and this mall is huge it's going to be so easy to spend the remaining $60 or so there's even isetan how is this the worst Mall in Singapore there's even a Mr [Music] coconut wait why am I drinking so saying interesting because I totally missed this out it wasn't easy to get here so when aism said it has a confusing layout maybe it's true to a certain extent got Yaki niku Shabu Shabu Ramen it's like little Japan it's [Music] nice can I get the durian Mochi mang one Duran Mochi I got the M shanan version wow looks good ah it's frozen oh M so smelly and so delicious I love this mall there's so many food to try let's move on yes oh what's good awesome do you guys live around here yeah what's your impression of this mall I've been here so many times I love it did you know there's a there's online post and some people say this is the worst mall ah ni actually good how does that make you feel nothing it's your own opinion yeah true so I got home let me explain so um long story short I failed I couldn't spend $100 I had $386 left and I almost bought a Lego or something that I didn't really need for the sake of spending $100 but I was like that that's just a waste of money so sorry I broke the rule I just didn't want to be wasteful of money I hope it's fine with you but anyways wow the first mall it's such a unique Mall it really did feel like time has stopped so I want to
