You Won't Believe What This Grumman Tiger Just Sold For - Grumman Style

[Music] well good morning ladies and gentlemen and welcome to grumman pilots youtube channel and this morning we're going to talk about a tiger that we did a few years ago found out had a bad engine it ended up being sold to another gentleman he restored it to the way he just wanted it and he just sold it and you're not going to believe the price he got for it so stay tuned for all that fun and information we would like to ask you please subscribe hit the like button and hit the notify to stay current with our content so this airplane had a problem and again dave sold it to steve and steve began the process well it had to get a road trip first it went all the way into new jersey and then it came back to ohio where um steve went ahead and did a complete restoration on it now let's cover what all he did as part of that and so when steve got the airplane and here it was getting ready dropped in front of his hanger and he began the process of the entire restoration of the airplane replace all the glass get all the paint ready redo the interior redo all the avionics so you all stand by and wash this little montage of a lot of money being spent on an airplane to make it better than new so so [Music] foreign [Music] stop [Music] so it looks pretty good the nose fairing is not on yet but here it is all ready to go steve drops a ton of money into it and again he was never going to sell it he was going to use it for his own personal airplane so now remember i sent out a grumman gang message about that now i sent out a grumman gang message and i got back four responses three from people who had tigers one said his was perfect and i kind of believed him because i had been consulting with him the second one said it was perfect it just needed a new engine and a new panel and the third person said it was perfect but i stopped counting after the fifth item came by the new owner would have to do we were looking for just one airplane in one perfect condition with nothing else left to do but go fly it and have fun in it i sent it to two of the people the guy created out pretty quickly who had the correct nice airplane and he bought it and ladies and gentlemen you're not going to believe the price so stay tuned for that real quick and let me mention the fourth response it came from john cotter technical director of the new gopa the old aya who basically told me to take my marketing and take it elsewhere well folks this airplane sold for 225 thousand dollars cash so how's that for a load of bs for your folks 225 k that means that all of our airplanes are now worth more you can imagine what we're going to be asking for the project tiger so we hope you found all this useful and informative thanks so much for watching and have a great day flying your now more valuable grumman well here's freckles our 19 year old cat supervisor hopscotch and sweetpea shredding a box of soap tarzan hunting on the back porch trying to catch a bird on the other side of the screen here he goes making sleep to get up there quite the angelic one they are quite the activity and little one here we are out and start call her squeaker because that's what she does she squeaks instead of meows and of course they're the in and out kitties because either they want in or they want out
