You Ruined My Day in Magic Kingdom

hey everybody it's molly with all ears and i'm here at the magic kingdom with a brand new video we're doing another instagram besides my day but this time it has a twist i asked our instagram followers to help me have the worst day ever in the magic kingdom not that you can really have a real bad day in the magic kingdom but they're going to decide what i eat what i do what i ride and we're going to see what the best worst day at magic kingdom looks like are you ready are you excited i have no idea what is about to happen and i'm a little scared but mostly ready to go [Music] [Applause] my [Music] okay well i'm already failing because i just got to enjoy the main street philharmonic as i walked up main street that's the band and i adore them um because if you know me you know there's nothing i love much as much as live entertainment in the disney parks okay i'm headed to fantasyland for my first task because someone has suggested i ride a classic attraction it's a small world as many times as i can in an hour a lo a lovely attraction a great attraction a classic attraction i think this person wants me to go insane with the song though but we're headed to fantasyland all right i'm in line for it's a small world it's weaving back towards the tangled bathrooms and then up in through the queue um the caster at the end here said it moves quickly and it should be about 25 or 30 minutes um which means i could theoretically ride it twice within an hour maybe three times if i get back in line quickly so that is what we're gonna do here we go you didn't think i was gonna get in line for it's a small world and not tell you about the historical significance of it did you of course you knew that all right so it's a small world was first premiered at the 1964-65 new york's world's fair it was a partnership between the disney company and pepsico and unicef and of course it tells that beautiful message of bringing all the children around the world together singing in harmony because we're not that different you and i it's a small world after all a great song and a great message that we should all think about today i think but the song it's a small world was written by the sherman brothers very famous disney composers they also wrote the enchanted tiki room great big beautiful tomorrow the music for mary poppins jungle book et cetera et cetera you definitely know the sherman brothers so this is one of the most historic attractions in in disney history uh one of the most important attractions in disney history and it's a classic and i insist you write it um one time when you come to disney world two to three times in a row maybe a bit much but it's the best it's so great there's a bunch of really fun animatronics that i like to look forward to i really like the hippo whose eyes like wonky and he looks kind of drunk um i really like the hula girls that are hula ink too fast i like the kangaroos i like the can can dancers one of my favorite disney legends is about this attraction as well rumor has it uh that disney was already working on three different attractions for the world's fair they're doing great moments with mr lincoln which would then inspire the hall of presidents here and then of course great votes with mr lincoln is at disneyland they were doing the um ford magic skyway which would inspire the people mover and they were doing the carousel of progress so they were doing a lot of work they were very busy and rumor has it legend has it that some executive from pepsico approached disney uh not walt himself but a younger executive and said could disney do a an attraction for us a boat ride could we do something with pepsico unicef and disney about children and give back and the person was like oh i don't know we're pretty busy we've got a lot going on i don't think we can do that it trickled up to walt's ears and he heard that someone said disney can't do something and he was like we're doing it we are doing it we already have three projects doesn't matter we're adding a fourth one on a time limit because people can't think disney can't do things there is just one moon and one golden sun and a smile means friendship to everyone it turns out you can write it two times in an hour and i think that's good because i still like it two times didn't make me go too loopy and i like i said i insist everyone rides it at least once and i hope the song gets stuck in your head because it's a good song [Music] but now we're off to another attraction because a lot of people are telling me to ride a certain one that features a certain character that i'm not particularly fond of i'm headed to under the sea journey the little mermaid because it's home to my nemesis the scariest disney character of all time ariel just kidding ursula under the sea journey the little mermaid has a posted 10 minute wait i wonder if it'll even be that long since it is an omni mover so that means it just keeps moving and they keep loading those clam shells unless they have to slow them down for maybe a wheelchair party or someone that needs a little extra time so omni mover attractions tend to move a lot faster than the boats especially right now if you want to see a cool easter egg though here in the wall kind of down below you can actually see that the shape of the nautilus which is the ship from 20 000 leagues under the sea is carved into the rocks that's because this is where that attraction sat back when twenty thousand leagues under the sea was an attraction here at the magic kingdom [Music] i actually really like that attraction and i think it's kind of underrated as far as fantasy land and rides go here at magic kingdom a lot of people want to think about fantasyland think about like peter pan's flight it's a small world dumbo seven dwarves mine and people kind of forget that that one's there but it's really good it's really cute great music if it just didn't have ursula oh so scary just looked at instagram and it seems like the number one request is the speedway here in tomorrowland you guys just aren't fans hi there you guys just aren't fans of the speedway it feels like which all right if you can drive an actual car the speedway's not that fun but if you're a little kid who can't drive a real car this is amazing i don't know if i've ever actually seen this i don't think you can see it on the screen very well but it literally says standby zero minutes i don't know if i've ever seen that i've seen five but zero i'm truly so bad at steering these nope nope you get a good look at tron though on this baby oh no you get a good look at it we don't know when it's opening probably not this year oh wow okay the thing is if you hold the wheel straight you hit things you have to actively fight against hitting the barrier which i think is my downfall because the alignment's off oh man okay i don't hate the speedway especially considering i waited literally zero minutes for it um it's definitely not a must-do by a long shot for me and i say this every time but like my nephews loved this because they were five and seven-year-old boys so if you've got a little kid who's always wanted to drive a car and they're 54 inches tall let them let them come drive the car especially if there's not a long wait all right um i'm hungry now and headed to get lunch and i've got an interesting way to figure out what i'm eating all right there were a couple of great suggestions of where to eat based on things people clearly don't like and would be their choices for worst meals in magic kingdom there are a couple votes for cosmic rays but i actually like their burgers so to me that's not the worst choice plus you get to enjoy sunny eclipse but a couple people also said pinocchio's village house which would be my pick for worst quick service location that's open in magic kingdom it's flatbread pizzas that are just very meh somebody suggested to go on the menu and whatever number three is on the menu that's what i eat for lunch now since pinocchio's village house like most quick services is primarily doing mo order i'm going to go on the mobile order and whatever the third entree is that's what i'm going to eat so who knows but we're about to find out okay i've ordered my lunch it's a meat lover's flatbread they have a cheese flatbread a pepperoni flatbread a caprese flatbread and a meat lovers and then a plant-based one i would have chosen the caprese one or the pepperoni or the cheese over the meat lovers but here we are they've also got very good chicken strips they've got tomato basil soup they've got bread sticks and they've got a salad here so that probably is my least wanted thing on the menu because i i like their breadsticks and their soup actually but their pizzas are the pickup for pinocchio's village house is actually over here on the side um near the it's a small world circus tent not circus scent fair tent fantasyland is actually themed after a renaissance fair that was put up in the courtyard for the royal family which is why all of the awnings in classic fantasyland look like they were temporary because they're designed to look like tents here is my meat lovers pizza flatbread from pinocchio's so it's cheese pepperoni ham and sausage and as you can see the ham and sausage are just kind of thrown right there in the middle and then the cheese doesn't come all the way to the crust so i'm sure it'll taste fine especially because i'm hungry and especially after i put all of these packets of red pepper and parmesan on them also pro tip you can actually get joffrey's cold brew here both the french roast and the shake in jamaican which is my favorite and you can mobile order them and you don't have to wait in line anywhere for coffee so that is a plus of this place okay let's try this i'm gonna try without adding anything first it's definitely better than the pillowy ones like at pizza rizzo i recently did um a deep dive investigation into italian food at the disney parks because the parks italian restaurants like inside the theme parks not great except for via napoli over at the um italy pavilion in epcot we can link that video for you but this continues like this is just fine it's better than the pillowy round ones if you're super hungry it'll do kids are gonna like it i do like that some of the tables actually overlook it's a small world so you could wave to people on the boats and kids like that and it is cute in here it's got pinocchio and cleo and figaro and all the characters painted everywhere so i think kids are gonna like this but they this to me is the worst park for quick service dining to begin with and this is my pick for the worst of the worst um i personally would prefer to go over to pecos bills i like those bowls over there right now they're serving columbia harbor house food at tomorrowland terrace because columbia harbor house is closed but you can get the fish and chips and some good things over at tomorrowland terrace so i enjoyed that one i don't personally mind cosmic rays because i like the burger there though like i said a lot of you are not huge fans of cosmic rays it is again your traditional theme park food hot dogs and um and burgers uh casey's corner is still closed at the time i'm shooting this but you can get corn dog nuggets over in frontierland at one of the walk-up stands westward ho so to me yeah this is this is fine um but it was a fitting choice for for the fema today there's just not a lot of flavor in the pizza like putting the red pepper flakes was the most amount of flavor the crust doesn't have a lot of flavor there's not a lot of flavor in the sauce so again kids will like it if you've got pick your adults they'll like it but you can do better and now i'm going to do what's possibly the rudest thing anyone's put on this list but it made me laugh so they said go ride the teacups immediately after you eat and spin as fast as you can so this is now called molly throws up in the magic kingdom it's fun for now oh no oh i shouldn't have worked out there we go there we go oh this is a nightmare oh my god oh there we go there we go that was something i do love the teacups don't get me wrong they are definitely a rite of passage definitely a must do but i don't recommend them after you eat for my next task someone said find a cavalcade and then commentate it as if you're a news anchor reporting on the scene which is actually very funny so i'm now walking over towards the castle hub area and hopes that a cavalcade comes by soon so that i can report to you live on the scene thanks so much for watching everybody as you can see it's a beautiful day here in the magic kingdom and we do have a cavalcade coming by if you look closely you will be able to see the initial part of the cavalcade that friends are called the dancers they are there to shake their groove thing they are there to dance and entertain we've also got the stilt lockers hard on the knees but easy on the eyes they do a great job entertaining the crowd before the main event gets here and here they are friends you know him you love him we've got pluto we've got minnie we've got the big cheese himself mickey mouse on the top there and donald and daisy bringing up the rear these cavalcades are at random times this time of year we don't have any scheduled parade or entertainment but you could catch a cavalcade as you're wandering around main street we've got more of those dancers bringing it up and they are requesting that we have a good good good time now it's pretty hard not to have a good good good time here in the magic kingdom even when you're trying to have the worst day ever and for that i'm molly with all airs tv back to you i have arrived at my next destination splash mountain a lot of you are telling me to go ride it is it because it's in the 50s today which is actually cold for florida or is it because y'all know i don't love getting wet on water rides or is it a combination of both either way we're gonna go ride splash mountain despite it being chilly there's a 35 minute wait here at splash so we're gonna clock that and see if that's true i think it looks like it comes out all the way to here i have to tell you guys this morgan my sweet sweet hufflepuff morgan put in the suggestion box to ride splash without rain gear she knows i don't like getting wet she doesn't like getting wet we've ruined this together and we bundle it fully can you believe that i'm kinda gonna do it um i just got my hair colored if i'm being perfectly honest with you guys and i'm at a wedding this weekend and i have no idea you're not supposed to get your hair wet after you get it colored because chemicals can do things to hair color and i have no idea what the chemicals used in the splash mountain water would do to my hair so i'm gonna like cover my hair in my right jacket but i won't cover the rest of me just you know keeping it real also i took the hood off my rain jacket so now i look like this [Music] [Music] i've been stuck here all right for like five plus minutes the lights are on there's a lot of stuff going up the thing and i'm just listening to the vultures over and over [Applause] [Music] look at how wet this is that would have been my hair my mask is wet my face is wet my jacket's wet i'm cold my phone's wet but i look good splash mountain must have known i was doing this video because i got stuck on the ride also why am i still wearing this fashion tips with me follow me for more easy fashions for the everyday gal um but splash mountain got stuck like right as i was about to go up the lift with the vulture so i heard the vultures go laugh in we'll show you a laughing place right over here like 57 times so that's actually hilarious um i don't know what happened i'm assuming just maybe a couple cars got too close to each other there's safety mechanisms in the rides that if they get too close they'll automatically stop so i assume that's what happened maybe they were loading some wheelchair parties or something that took a while and things got a little backed up but that's very funny to me because of course that would happen on a worst day ever video um all right so survive splashdown i'm not soaking wet but i'm definitely wetter than i'd like to be at a theme park my booty's a little wet and my hair would be soaking this hood is very wet so i'm glad i had that on we're back in fantasyland because i've gotten this suggestion multiple times throughout the day as i've posted what should i do and it's to ride whatever has the longest line because as someone who prefers to fiddle fatal and not wait in lines and most people let's be honest um they don't want to wait in lines and waiting in lines is probably one of the worst things about coming to disney world so i looked at the app no surprise the longest line is seven doors mine train at 50 minutes five zero so we're about to go wait in line all right we found the end of the line his little sign says 40. since i'm stuck waiting in line i might as well give you a few line-busting tips especially since there's no fastpass right now you're likely going to end up waiting in a decent line for at least one thing on your trip what do you do what do you do to entertain yourself in the lines well for me i talk to you guys on my phone that's what i do um but what i see a lot of people do is play heads up or other games with their family hidden mickeys are a great thing to look for get that hidden mickey book and look for those with your kids you can get the play disney parks app and play different trivia games with your family on there there's other different games some of the queues are actually interactive with the app there's a whole bunch you can do with the uh with the app over in galaxy's edge i did a video about using your data pad as it's called over there we can link for you but here rides like peter pan's flight have interactive things waiting in line also a great time to have some funny conversations with your friends and family silly things to talk about like if you had to live in one magic kingdom land for the rest of your life which one would you live in you know i'd live on main street usa i'd have to ever dance i'd have the characters the train station ice cream corn dog nuggets if they added a country to epcot what country should they add i think they should add greece thank you for asking because there's no good greek food here in disney world and i want a hercules-themed greek restaurant is that so much to ask for [Music] got off of mine train it ended up only being about a 30 minute wait which is really not too bad at all the next one yeah we're staying in fantasyland we're headed over to the tangled restrooms because there's an activity here that you guys want me to complete okay i'm here at the tangled bathrooms which are the bathrooms in between fantasyland and liberty square of course they're themed after tangled they're super awesome and detailed but there's actually a little game over here and it's to find the hidden pascals there's 10 pascals hidden and i'm not allowed to leave this area until i do it you can see above the men's bathroom here you've got the frying pan of course got the lanterns up here look at the woman's restroom got beautiful long hair you've got these posters everywhere for the different uh ruffians and their talents the criminal master mime hilarious you've got hook hands poster here vladimir's poster more paintings i just think this is a great spot to look for all the details another great detail the satchel is hanging up above the men's restroom as well you guys know me i love the hidden details everywhere in disney one of my favorites is over here and it's the fact that on the ground are horseshoes but some of them or for a certain horse maximus his horseshoes have left prince in here and if you're wondering what he's after it's probably these apples the coolest part of this area that not a lot of people realize is here is in these stumps there's first of all lots of seating lots of benches you could have your snacks here and stuff but in the stumps are actually charging units so if you need to charge something this is a great spot to do it because to me the worst thing that could happen to me would be my phone dying so i want to prevent that for you um okay so here's the little stein and it says look for pascal and the scenery hidden among the flowers and the greenery and i know there's ten of them all right i spotted one already in this middle flower box pascal under there oh look two oh and three okay we're doing great everybody we're doing great three so far four okay so we got four in the water over here by the sign number five let's see if we can see oh here's six that one was easy seven is right there on the blue water drain he's blue because he's a chameleon so he's blended in so there's seven i remembered to look up and on this lamp post there's one so that's eight this riverbed was like a hot spot so we already saw that one we already saw this one and i already saw the one all the way over here but i'm looking to see if there's another one i maybe couldn't see from my angles beforehand well this one was basically impossible it took me a long time okay we've already seen that one but look in between those two rocks right there there's another one so that's nine all right one more i'm looking on all of these lamp posts i'm looking at all of the fence posts looking in the grass i cannot see another one well i'm just wandering around the bathrooms there's nothing weird about it don't worry folks okay maybe over by the the tower baby we have a lovely waterfall here and it leads up to rapunzel's tower but i don't see i'm looking really hard because they're in the rocks all over on the other side i don't see one maybe over this way on some of these light posts or something or the flower boxes back here no wait no oh my gosh do you see this he's wood colored and he looks like a knot on the tree wow wow wow wow wow you kidding me with that i'm gonna put that on a scavenger hunt board next time i'm not playing that's that's tricky it took me longer than i'd care to admit to find all of them i think it took about 30 minutes to find all of them which is awkward all right a lot of you have said it's time for a treat you've had a mediocre lunch let's get a mediocre treat and i've got a couple good suggestions of things to eat a couple of people suggested like go get the pre-packaged rice krispie treats instead of the freshly baked ones in the confectionary which is a hill i will die on that you got to get the freshly baked ones but that's a great answer um but i've seen a lot of ideas for weird concoctions and flavors so i'm headed to storybook treats all right so first of all the idea of cold ice cream on a chilly day already not the ideal treat they've got strawberry sundae hot fudge sundae chocolate sauce or soft serve chocolate vanilla or swirl they've got floats um they have the special peter pan float which isn't on that menu but it's right here it's when it's dole whip lime one of my favorite dole lips sprite and then a chocolate feather that's really yummy but somebody suggested i make because you get to pick when you do the floats vanilla chocolate or swirl and your choice of fountain beverage so a normal person would do like vanilla and root beer vanilla and coke but i was told to make the grossest one i can think of oh oh wow this is happening okay here's the corner that i like to eat treats from storybook treats out i've had some real treats of shame here like the poor unfortunate souls float but chocolate soft serve and sprite is the grossest combination i could think of so all right well that's just soft serve this week cast member is encouraging me give me a thumbs up alright this one's got sprite on it are you ready that's not good it's not even a little good i'm gonna get more sprite this time because i i have no self-control i'm glutton for punishment okay when you just get the soft serve it's delicious because it's chocolate softer but when you look sprite with it i don't know i keep eating it but it's not good let me try with a straw look at what we're doing now we are making magic or a nightmare i can't recommend this to you it's just like very distinctly chocolate or sprite so far and the flavors do not go well together but you know what does go well literally any other combination of float that they had um i would have loved to get vanilla in a coke coke float who doesn't like that i don't really care for root beer on its own but a root beer float delicious fanta with vanilla would have been amazing oh no oh um that was chocolate that's right on a scale of one to ten where one is prince john and ten is ursula so from the least scary villain to the most scary villain i'm gonna give this about a six and a half or seven which i would call an edgar from the aristocats because he's not that scary you kind of understand why he would want to abandon those cats so he could get the million dollars so mostly you're just confused because seriously if i was supposed to inherit millions of dollars and some fatty old woman was going to give it to a cat instead i'm not saying i at all condone taking cats into the wilderness and leaving them i i do think he has a right to be upset just like i'm upset i'll try to drink this after that not great snack you know i wouldn't say that a chocolate and sprite floats the worst thing i've ever eaten i actually think the poor unfortunate souls float was worse and it's still ice cream and soda so it's not like terrible i mean you know breedlove made me eat bugs once in jurassic park anyway we're gonna end the day with my favorite thing coffee a lot of people had caught great coffee suggestions things like go ask for the sweetest string possible get the barista to make up something for you but you know i'm gonna go with the try and true classic which is leave it up to the fates and get whatever the person in front of you ordered we've done this on some of these other instagram decide my days and i've discovered very good and very terrible coffees so let's hope it's a good thing today also let's hope it's a warm coffee because i am cold [Music] okay i'm next it's down to this family or that family family a or family b i'm very scared i can't take any more heartbreak after the float i just want a delicious coffee okay she has a warm cup that's a good sign what did the guest before me order she ordered a vanilla latte and on feminist oh my gosh i would love one of those please whatever size she had no problem thank you that's all thank goodness the person in front of me ordered a vanilla non-fat latte which sounds like something i would drink i would probably lower the sweetness but let's not get ahead of ourselves let's give it a whirl it's a scooch sweet for me i'd probably cut the sweetness in half but the family next we ended up with a bunch of frappuccinos so i'm gonna consider this a win well friends that's a wrap on my best worst day ever here in the magic kingdom as we predicted it was still a wonderful day sure i didn't have my favorite eats and snacks but i still got to ride splash mountain seven doors mine train it's a small world i got to see some characters i got a coffee and in my book that's a pretty good day what
