Paul said in an interview years later that he dreamt of the melody and when he woke up he played it on the piano but was sure it was a song he had heard before. He asked all his friends if they knew what song it was but nobody recognized it. He also had trouble coming up with the lyrics for it and for a short time the song was called "scrambled egg".
