Yellowstone Begins Filming Final Episodes [ON-SET LEAK]

5 years 5 Seasons and 47 episodes later here we are at the end of the road for the Dutton family and everyone's favorite neow Western Yellowstone it's been a chaotic couple of years that's for sure what with all the gruesome deaths Gore violence and gut punching story lines on the show and sometimes even on set Kevin Costner walking away from Yellowstone was a shock but we all knew Yellowstone head to end one day we're past the first half of the final season and now we're moving moving into the real finale filming for the final episodes has begun and there's a lot to report Paramount's been delaying the final season for a while now while it's understandable that no one from the fans to The exacts Wanted the show to end fans started getting agitated when Paramount kept delaying the final season month after month Taylor Sheridan the series creator for Yellowstone teased fans with several spin-off ideas that were in the works one of which was titled 202 before this obviously LED everyone to believe that the final episode of the parent season would be filmed and ready to go toward the end of 2023 at the latest that's not happening anymore and maybe Sheridan and Paramount aren't to blame not completely at least the SAG strikes delayed production for several programs and media houses had to adjust accordingly news about the fifth season being the end of the road for Yellowstone first started circulating sometime in February 2023 that was when rumors started spreading around about Cosner's many many disagreements with Sheridan apparently the star of the show John Dutton himself wanted more creative control and Sheridan wasn't going to let that happen execs from Paramount refused to comment on their rivalry and instead released a statement where they called cner an integral part of the Yellowstone universe and Sheridan a great writer it seems like they weren't ready for season 5 to be the ultimate end of the duttons either it didn't take long though for cner to come out of the woods himself and announce that he'd be hanging up his cowboy hat for good without the star of the show The patriarch of the Dutton Clan shared and knew it was time to pull the plug on the neow western no one was ready for that but some people admitted that it was a good thing Yellowstone was finally coming to an end it gave other spin-offs a real Fighting Chance including the one that's featuring Matthew mccon back to season 5 now the SAG strikes delayed the project and some speculated that maybe Paramount was trying to work out a deal with cner since the strikes ended and any alleged deals fallen through it's time to gear up for the finale season 5 is the longest season 4 Yellowstone the average episode length for each season so far has been 10 episodes at most season 5 however is a mega season which will feature a grand total of 14 episodes eight of them have been released in the first half from November 2022 through Jan January 2023 the remaining six were supposed to be released sometime between September and October 2023 now the release date has been pushed back to November 2024 this means that Matthew's 2024 will most likely be released in 2025 Sheridan might just be the only person who's not too worried about the delay by the way he told The Hollywood Reporter back in June 2023 that he might even consider making the second half 10 episodes long Sheridan wants to give Yellowstone the proper sendoff that it deserves the series Creator admitted that he wasn't ready for it to be the end just yet and had a whole sequence of the finale planned out he's obviously had to put a rush on it but that doesn't mean he's willing to compromise on the show that's pretty much his legacy everything about the finale has been shrouded in mystery so far sure the plot has to be kept a secret but so does the filming schedule the closest fans came to learning more about the filming schedule was during March March 2023 is paleyfest almost half of the Yellowstone cast didn't show up by the way Emily longeretta a reporter for variety tweeted a short while after the event and claimed to have Insider information about season 5 imagine everyone's disappointment when she revealed that her sources told her that there was nothing to report on they hadn't even started filming yet what's everyone saying about the finale so far the official reports suggest that filming will start sometime around spring of 2024 this gives the cast and crew just enough time to wrap everything up by October and have Paramount set everything into motion and ready for release by November they'd be working against a tight schedule that's for sure also sources have reported that Taylor's been avoiding the exacts at Paramount that's right he's down at the 4 sixes Ranch in Texas which he bought in 2021 and working on writing the script in complete isolation 4 sixes is also one of the many spin-offs he has planned coming up in late 2024 or early 2025 anyway those are some reports on what's been going on on the sets of Yellowstone other reports tell a completely different story some reports suggest filming's already begun Yellowstone probably has one of the most active Reddit communities out there and the good people of Reddit have been posting Non-Stop about what's to come in the final season a few of them are convinced that filming has already begun and Paramount will release the final season at the most unexpected time but most definitely by the end of 2023 others claim that while filming might have begun they need cner to come on set and finish his scenes too most people are going with the second theory they're saying that CER is too busy either wrapping up his divorce or working on his four-part Western film to actually come to set and finish what he started a few commenters even suggest slapping some makeup on young John Dutton and having him act as a standin for Kevin Cosner's role that might sound like a joke but people were actually serious some users commented on how they'd started to lose interest in the show because of the weight now while they did sympathize with Hollywood strikes and agreed that they had to be done they were pretty bummed out about missing out on a timely delivered final season it might serve everyone well to hold on to hope and manifest the final season being released in secret sometime around the end of the year or at best the beginning of next year maybe that'll keep us sane because if not everyone's just going to drive themselves insane coming up with one fan theory for the finale and then another let's talk about some fan theories for the final episode John dutton's going to die at least that's what everyone thinks many fans agree that maybe Sheran didn't intend to have Cosner's character die in the final season but he was left with no choice recasting roles are all too common in the industry but not five seasons in and most definitely not a role as magnetic as John Dutton so the patriarch of the Dutton family is probably going to pass away in the finale the the question is how's he going to go now if you've watched Yellowstone or even a single episode of the show even the first few scenes of the first episode you know that the show can get pretty gruesome pretty fast just like that everyone's willing to bet JN goes out in style it's either he's killed in a shoot one of his kids kills him or he decides to get the job done himself some people are arguing that maybe his death is anticlimactic because that's the sort of twist you could expect from Sheridan the consensus however say suggests that John Dutton will be gunned down by one of his kids probably Beth these theories suggest that it'll be a full circle moment from the first few scenes of the show where Jon's putting a horse out of its misery to the final sequence of the show where Beth's doing the same for her father what will happen to the ranch that's where everyone's stumped the ranch has been such an integral part of the show it is the show actually Jon spent his whole life protecting the ranch from just about everyone's greedy hands including sometimes his own kids with him gone the future of the ranch is up in the air maybe one of his kids takes over maybe one of the ranch hands Rises to the occasion or maybe he wills it all over to Tate and it goes back to the broken rock tribe it's hard to
