Yard sales! Video Game Pickups! Crazy value!

good morning good morning it's yard sale time so we're gonna do yard sales in three two one [Music] good morning [Applause] [Music] how's it going good we're still bringing it out a lot if there's something in particular you're looking for video games uh even old stuff like old handheld gameboy tend to wii systems or this one yeah yeah that's the newest one yeah [Music] oh yeah [Music] yet and how much for the book it's all okay right offer on stuff you might want to sell okay i didn't even think of those oh yeah we still collect them and we're all old let's see he's the only actual wii games he still places the party one oh do you guys have a wii u as well yeah nice so let's see this is this yes this is give me the cases for these anymore no that's okay that's why i'll have them all in here yeah what are you looking to get rid of if you think you want to go look which ones you don't want anymore what most of the wee ones you don't even play let's play the wii u now yeah wii u and switch nice oh yeah switch is amazing look what i don't want of what the games we yeah yeah where are they right here we're just saying not wii u i mean honestly we collected all so i mean whatever you would not want to keep would you want to sell any of these get some money for your piggy bank huh or for your switch games you want to keep all the rest no yes for sure go go get the other stuff yes that's the one he plays a lot yeah yeah he technically doesn't need that one because he has his own switch there you go yep zelda that's the older one yeah that's the older we until then i don't even know why my daughter wanted that one she wanted it so bad and barely played it yeah so he's still got to go to school today oh boy that's going to be fun does the bus pick him up at least yeah that helps i'm just gonna take yourself yeah yeah i would say okay what do you want to do for these in the system good doesn't happen to be selling any old video game stuff would you no no no we actually just found out it's like a ps something that's right how much you guys want to sell that for um gotcha that's pretty neat yeah but we we can't seem to try and prepare it too that's neat you guys have a controller you're looking to sell huh yeah it looks like an apparent she just walked out with this she's like let's get rid of this control we don't even use it anymore i was just like well yeah i've never seen it before honestly it's pretty neat um what do you think make an offer yeah a couple bucks yeah three dollars sounds great sure all right uh i don't know if that's a good deal but we got this little controller i had uh elisa's going to walk around the next block to see if she can find something cool i really didn't want it but since they chased me down after asked about video games and they said no i had to give him something so i gave him three bucks i mean i think it's fair a little girl can have lunch now today at school and i'll have this really wonky ps3 controller with a keyboard on it but it's fine we've scored well enough already that we haven't had really time to do recaps in between we've got just we're the first ones at a lot of these sales and they're pulling video games out for us so we just got to keep rolling and keep shaking yeah i don't know what the hell they are we have that and then we have a couple of video games and then we have these which they're like i think they're like skins skins yeah huh so you said you have some other video games as well let me go look sure now they're not like a lot it's only three but one has like four games in it oh okay so do you have any handheld systems like the square one we do but i i can't sell those games maybe other games on them you're not playing anymore for some of the games no she plays all of us oh good she has like the gamecube and she has the wii and my significant other does it and i don't play my x my ps2 anymore oh they're pretty scratchy you know if all these work uh they should last time we played it yes that works too what do you want for them this looks pretty broken uh yeah that just has that if i played with it so much when i was a kid yeah yeah and then just between wrapping it that but it still works it lights up actually okay so it's either lights up blue or red but um for the game council i wanted 10 okay and then the games i could take a dollar on each because they're scratched but this one i wanted at least three or four due to it care about the accessories and so you just need to use chocolate would you do 15 for everything yeah okay oh yeah him good how are you doing pretty good how about you good um how much for the dvds uh i figured like a buck on them okay do you guys have any video games i mean it's not an actual old one i was i'd probably worth my super nintendo and he is oh yeah absolutely you guys don't play those anymore i mean i play the 64 but i don't play the game yet yeah you got some games for it too uh yeah they're all on it have you seen the mini ones oh the minis gotcha yeah i'd be interested for sure well they're written for games oh yeah yeah for sure i remember growing up playing those so are we still collecting i remember having to go in the game though yeah get to work before you put it in you still got to do that oh hello oh nice okay what are you looking to get for these uh this one's not for sale oh this is my favorite all the super mario brothers i have to have oh yeah i yeah it's just micro usb oh okay what about the h didn't come with an hdmi cable i got an hdmi cable i can throw in with it what do you want for all that do like 30 bucks because the controller is like 15 a piece nowadays are they if not more like 25 depending on where you go game stop for sure amazon you've got to pay like 14.99 for them and it comes with 500 games on it 500 editing daniel here it doesn't come with 500 games yeah you modded it you said what did you mod it did you bought it oh gosh i thought it had like 30. no this one's oh my god it's like it comes with 21 games that one's like 500 or 600 it's got the nes or 21 games on it plus um but technically it kind of is modded because my dad puts it's not modern original mario brothers thank goodness smash brothers and a couple other ones okay um you said you had an n64 too yeah that's this that's this one this one i can't part with or an nes mini would you would you be you know we actually have a display would you want to sell the box just the box yeah i could do like five bucks for the box because we have a loose one yeah okay that'd be awesome so this has been a wild day um really uncommon yard sale day yeah we don't usually go on fridays that's probably why but we've maybe hit a dozen that's it and we've had found video games at all but like two it's unreal i mean not amazing finds but start up the day real good stuff easy easy solid stuff uh i'm i'm kind of at a loss for words like i didn't even buy any kitchen stuff today how wild is that right so uh we're gonna hit a few more up and see if we can find something but uh this is how fridays are we need to do more yard silly on fridays too bad we didn't you know too bad we have monday through friday jobs yeah we'll see what else we can find oh there's a tug right here yeah super mario brothers yeah you guys have any old video games nintendo game boy that you're selling nothing like that games yeah like video games sure yeah it's just fun that's just gamble i'm sure it'll be like a book some star wars oh cool all right how much for the the tattooed dollar for yeah so our like percentage of success to ratio of yard sales that we hit in one day was probably 75 video games that's insane like normally we have ten percent if we're lucky and we hit like five in a row and then like another three and then another one and so wanted to go through what we found with you guys so uh let's take a look all right so we're going to try to do this with half the table obviously our pickups from the other day we're still going through but uh let's start with our first yard sale which was all of this stuff so you got harry potter yep uh this is the last book i haven't read it yet so it'd be an interesting read and um she included this and the lot for all for five dollars yeah so we got on video we just asked her if they were still pulling stuff out because it was super early and we asked if they had any video games she said hold on and then she came out with all of this so like a i think this is a lego um what's it called it's a lego portal yeah so that's cool skylanders portal uh an n64 which is insane and just you know casually n64 yeah and uh it has the power cable and the video cable with it and then a really really dirty super dirty pac-man plug-and-play some skylanders we know nothing about skylanders so we'll have to take a look see if they're worth anything harry potter complete amazing spider-man complete monster 4x4 missing a manual ghost recon probably their dad's game uh complete sim animals complete wall-e and infinity disney infinity uh they're all you know pretty much snickel fritz garbage games but for five dollars total wow wow wow wow and actually there were some more uh skylanders that she's gonna bring over uh because there's just no room for him so right on top here or here we go yep hold on there we go yeah so all of that also so i can see some disney infinity and some skylanders in here um the bottom halfs and the top halfs is part of one i'm pretty sure they're not worth anything but we can trade them into bookmarks for some cash probably hopefully yeah hopefully so any of you are skylanders fans you know there's some like some rock and value in here let us know but yeah so the next yard sale was uh oh man this lady so we asked her she was setting up when she when we got there again it pays to be the first one at the yard sale and she's like oh we have a wee like okay so her son brings this out and then he she brings out the rest of the games in a binder which sucks they're not in package but let's go through what we got so we got resident evil 5 madden 15 from 360. minecraft 360. ducktales for wii u nice disney affinity when nobody cares croods just dance 2014. i can't believe people still buy that game uh raving rabbits party collection i'm in the chipmunks shipwrecked another another disney infinity because you know why not the best of all of them icarly no it's not now we get to good stuff well mario galaxy 2. these are all in pretty good condition too because they were kept in their sleeve just dance three mario kart 8 she said oh he already has this on switch so he doesn't need to keep this game party 2 for wii wii sports uh light blue edition and then wii sports dark blue edition literally two different shades but uh you know as long as they play mario party 9 loose wheat actually didn't have this one kirby's return to dreamland smash bros just dance too and then we got home plugged it in and she's like oh look there's a game inside of it and it was twilight princess great so we spent 25 total on all those games in the system great deal um next yard sale was this one yeah it was this one so we're right around the block and um went to the sierra sale and they said they didn't have any uh games and then i went to the one across the street and then this this girl chased me down this young girl she said oh i found a video game thing and she showed me this and it's some aftermarket weird keyboard ps3 controller and it's kind of a pity buy i'm like i really appreciate her chasing me down to tell me she had video games so i gave her three bucks for it and their family was super happy and she's like that'll buy me lunch today so yeah that's that's cool i probably will probably just trade this in but it's neat um we did find these this is another the next yard sale the worst metal game ever released metal gear survive and then straight life is strange which is cool because we didn't have that and we'll play it we liked heavy rain is one of my favorite of that style so so this was one we actually messaged the night before and asked her if she had any video games and she said yeah let me pull them out for you and then we came by to meet meter so it was a very very dirty ps2 fat ps2 fat um we don't know if it works yet we'll test it out and it came with all the cables very dirty cables but two ps2 cables power and then one av thank goodness thank goodness um jam pack summer these games aren't in the best condition but if they work they're good i've never seen that jam pack so maybe dallas will want that one he likes his uh demos dragon ball z photo path and uh i think yeah there's two in here there's this and sims two pets which we already have a copy of and then nfl street two and then a broken garbage controller that's basically falling apart she said it still works but i'm probably still just gonna throw it away and then more skylanders again more skylanders we just don't know anything about these but i mean whatever and uh you know if there's anything here that you see value and let us know um and we paid a total of fifteen dollars which you know i don't know that's on the edge of what i would pay as long as the ps2 works that's fine um so the next one we had was kind of neat this lady we found this first it's an officially nice licensed nintendo toad plush which is great we love plushes we have no toad we have no toad we have some pokemon plushes and stuff like that and you know little in-betweens like poo poo and all them so it'll be nice to have some more flushes for the collection and that's our first toad they have these sweet valentine tattoos that are completely sealed maybe we'll do an event with dallas and i'll wear them on stream or something we got two brand new boxes it was a dollar for both boxes and toad was a dollar yep and then she brought out games and she's like ah four for each or two for seven i'm like ah well let's see if we can pick out some stuff and 360 is mostly not worth anything we know that but i think some of these might be decent value so i figured i'd pick them up turok i wanted for the collection that's cool uh black ops i think is one of them that's more desirable and if they're not that's fine my dad just got a 360. so i'll send him to him and he'll they'll probably play him the signature edition i don't see that very often so that seemed cool um this one's probably for our collection namco museum virtual arcade that's cool black ops 2. i think that one's another one of the more desirable ones and more desirable i mean like 15 instead of five like not much and then a ufc game i know sometimes those can be valuable who knows but we'll take a look at that and then one of the next sales was a kind of a small one we found kind of a i don't know this is a third gen ipod i believe um it's engraved it says all i love you love jamond cool awkward yeah or ali i love you that's what it is so that's cool um but i don't know who either of those people are so now it's just for us but if it works that'd be cool we'll probably resell it um and then they had a yokai watch mask elisa loves the okay watch here put the mask on i have the red one she has a red one i know i can have the blue ones we didn't clean these either it's perfect it's just full of mrsa nice and then a little dragon ball figure so we paid a buck for the dragon ball figure a buck for the it's vegeta yeah it's vegeta and a buck for the glasses and we paid ten dollars for this i don't know if that's too much but yeah we'll see we're buying our knowledge hopefully it works and then one of the last things was actually pretty cool so there's these two kids all alone at a yard sale and i'm like hey you have any video games for sale then they're like we have no idea let's go talk to our parents so they grabbed their dad and he came out and i wanted this one just a big campy shark film i haven't seen it and i think we'd have a blast watching it so that was a dollar kind of and then he's like yeah we do have video games let me go bring some out and he brings this out like oh my gosh it's a snes classic he's like yeah it has like 500 games and i'm thinking well it doesn't unless you've modded it but i'm hoping he's lying and he didn't mod it but if he did we'll see if we can unmod it and make it back to its natural state that's kind of how we like these are if we want a mod we'll use our retropie like we don't really like modding these things it came with the original snes controller the original snes controller for the system um no other cables he threw an hmi cable but it's some weird off-brand called ammo phenol i don't know we need a power cable for it yeah we need the a power cable i mean it is just a micro usb it might sell like it is but we got to test out and see what if it's modded or not and then this he was like no i'm not getting rid of my n64 that's what he called this is his n64 he's like i gotta have my zelda my uh my mario brothers like oh cool so he brought this out basically just to brag that this is the one we had he had which is awesome and i'm like you know what we picked i'm thinking of myself we picked one of these up for 35 bucks without the box it's the only of the only one of the classic systems we don't have complete in the box or like you know would you sell us the box he's like oh yeah sure you want it for five bucks like absolutely so um it actually has the the map and the manual and all the inserts everything but the system so that's perfect so we paid a total of well what the deal was 30 but i only had either 40 or 29 on me so he took 29 for all these so total spent at yard sales today we'll appear here and then we shall post potential value down here excluding the snickel fritz and valentine's day cards so that's going to be it for our yard sale pickups this is going to bring us a couple more steps closer to getting to that persona and what's cool is now we have an extra wii although we came with like an aftermarket power cable so we'll use that or throw it away because we have plenty of them so we have extra wiimotes we'll be able to sell that if it works we have extra n64 controllers because of that ridiculous 500 pickup so we'll try to flip those as
