hello [Music] let's get ready to rumba do you uh have a price in mind for just all of it i'm dan i'm elisa and this is our jrpg life we are a married couple that loves playing collecting and hunting for video games together we're on a quest to find all the best jrpgs to add to our collection for free for free and we do it through yard sales local deals trades and much more so join us on our journey to attaining gaming grills because you never know what we'll find [Music] morning everybody yay it's a friday so we don't normally go out on fridays for yard sales but i got the day off she didn't so she's going to come with me until i got to drop her bath back home for work because she works from home yeah and we're hoping to find some good yard sales because every time we go out on friday we hit almost every single time yeah so far we've been driving around for about 20 minutes and uh no one's set up yet yeah that's that's the problem is uh like the yard sales aren't really set up until eight but we're hoping maybe people are setting up early and we can politely ask to look at their stuff for those of you that don't know in arizona in the summer things start real early they'll start at six a lot of times because they want to get in and done before it gets really hot yeah it the yard sales close at 10 in the summers because it's too hot yeah and then in the winter well sometimes they don't start till late because it's too cold we're spoiled i don't know what it is well it's it's dark right like the last time i went yard sailing um on my own before work it was completely dark like i had to use a flashlight to look at the garage sale morning no [Music] that's cool yeah yes it works i couldn't find any of the other hdmi cables okay you know but any games or anything for it no i couldn't find those either well we'll have to buy that for me yeah thank you so much enjoy yup have a great day are you kidding me wow so i was i was really holding back my emotions because i get really shaky when i get really excited but the first one of the day are you kidding me there was i don't know if you guys could see but there was a couple people already there just like they haven't got to that side of the yard so yet and we started on that side and there it is just gloriously in front of us i cannot believe that's upside down as usual oh my gosh twenty dollars that looked like a brand new ps4 this is so far the pickup of the year as our first sale of the day can't believe it i told daniel yesterday yesterday i'm like i can't wait for ps4s to be like cheap and this is the first thing we get [Music] it looks pretty nice yeah yeah yes it's completely yeah so i'm gonna be real with you guys it's been uh an hour and a half i just dropped elisa off we've hit two yard sales not good i guess the area we picked wasn't the best and uh five different areas so far had wild goose chase signs where literally there's signs up everything's leading you where you need to go and there's no yard sale five of those i've hit so far and uh it's getting kind of frustrating but i'm gonna stick with it because we're gonna find more games we can't score that big and not continue to hit today so we're gonna keep going one eternity later morning good morning how's everybody doing yeah good time is this one three dollars so another important thing that we do when at yard sales when we know somebody else is there that is asking or asked for video games we wait for them to go away kill a little bit of time wait for them to not be in earshot so that we can ask better list some consoles out list some systems and really see if there's anything that they missed on and this is going to matter soon you don't see no gorillas over here dude no oh my god some cool old stuff there's like fuengo boingo and oh yeah some really good classics in there sorry are those male kids for sale they are going to take a look at them yeah you should i think i can reach them i think let's see you wouldn't have to have video games by any chance would you what was that not quite the same not quite the same no it okay how much both probably not that ones well let me take a look if i open it it looks pretty good yeah i'll just do this one okay yeah that works for me so just about over a dozen signs and uh posts with no actual yard sale at them nothing i always have to just knock on the doors be like look uh your address shows yard sale where is it but i didn't so you know that's how it goes i'll take all day long going to 20 yard sales and not hitting video games then trying to go to a dozen of them and not even finding a yard sale it tells me that most people are just gearing up for the saturday sales so here's what it is we're gonna try our luck elsewhere and take this opportunity to go to the d.i see if we can find some awesome stuff there and then i've got we've got some trades for bookmans uh there's a rumor going around that they picked up a bunch of sega saturn games so i've got a box of trades just in case and maybe we'll score there i mean you know we only hit three yard sales and about a dozen that weren't there so maybe we'll try again tomorrow [Music] good morning good morning so yesterday didn't go that well so we're going out again today and uh hopefully we can find something it's a saturday this is the day we're used to yard sailing so inevitably we're gonna find something right yeah luckily we've been seeing some saturday only garage sales which is which is good you know so probably haven't been picked over on friday so we need to find some video games today let's do this three bucks morning good morning i just try to stay warm over here yeah i hear that yeah would you have to be selling any video games do you have any video games ricardo i mean they're not gathered up yeah i'm well we do have some but it's not old stuff yeah not only like what type they're kind of like yeah i mean he's only got a few and half of them are the digital ones now that he's down there yeah well he's got but he's got quite a bit okay hold on sure thanks oh cool so not all of these are in here oh yes the classic is fallout 3 it's not grand theft auto so i got to figure out call of duty black ops this is resident evil but i think the others are the right ones does he play like handhelds too or um 3ds or game boy or anything like that um oh actually i have a super old one it's not super old hold on he's like nobody's going to want stuff yeah i can take a look at these yeah do that and let me go grab because there is one thing i'll grab real quick by the way and you can move any of the stuff you want my work for three people before that's versus zombies so what games you play nowadays bud um spiderman spiderman on ps4 yeah nice that's a great game oh cool yeah this is the only thing and it's been sitting up in the closet forever [Music] yeah from jackson do you know if it still works um i don't see why it would and i wonder what charger it is i bet i could plug it in here do you know what the mic oh this is my ps4 game yeah it looks like oh so that one's still this is jumanji yeah give me just a second let me just see real quick hey ricky's behind at home too yeah if you can't find it we'll still okay be interested yeah that's funny this is my dream but yeah i didn't know let me let me check oh you're gonna sell those two i don't know well that's a good game yeah it's like it's like a harder version of mario kart probably this one i'm probably not interested in but i'll ask your mom how much no charger i don't see why it wouldn't work when we stopped using it it did work okay just they moved on to you know something different yeah so and he brought these out so what would you want for both of these oh yeah mason this one's yours yeah he said he doesn't play it yeah you don't use that one where'd you even get that that's cool and it's good it's not gradually looks good yeah okay it's real good um although jumanji yeah um i don't know what do you want mace um five bucks all right who's the one that's five and five yeah that works morning i'm will how are you do you have any more video games by any chance looks like we found one in there no that's all we got right there bud that's it okay how about you asking for a dollar a dollar okay maybe somebody for that you don't have any other consoles or anything like that for games like old handhelds or no okay old nintendo gameboy thank you so much [Music] so hold up i recognize this guy he was here yesterday he just beat me to a yard sale and picked up like legos and like a stack of books uh that was the one we got the model at what you got when i got the bottle after i was i was at work right uh so i remember this guy is wearing the exact same clothes so i had to we had to walk through and pass this guy and get to the other sale because there were two right next to each other and this is what happened i should offer that have a good day morning selling any video games by any chance oh a lot of them went the only ones left are the ps3 and then the ds gotcha okay did you have the old handheld still or like that i don't know no no how much you asking for these two dollars no we don't have that iron do we want that i don't know no okay they have the consoles no cool thank you so much yeah no problem they have game people over there they have some games oh not yet we'll take a look thank you oh okay take a look at this oh those are movies i guess okay i just pulled out a bunch of stuff that hasn't been touched nice yeah you have kids a plater yeah yeah and then they moved out and they hadn't touched any of that stuff in years and i'm like it's gone now i'll take the book you can have the book oh thank you you're welcome i have the first one so there you go i don't know if i have more i don't think i have more over in that wouldn't happen have any like the handheld games or the game boys or ds or anything like that i might that'd be cool yeah yeah we'd love that you managed this for a second okay all right look like you're in charge charge them twice think perfect that's some cool stuff excellent so i'm not sure what's in here thank you what do you want for these i don't know be fair to me yeah of course actually these these sort of things are probably nice old dusty boxes they're the best yeah well and this is one of those boxes that got left in the back of the garage every time i have a yard sale kept forgetting to pull it out nice what is it a gps i think it's a gps oh no game oh no no game no game are they not in there no are they probably they're probably in like a little case or something yeah they're probably what's this yeah there's no games in them i want to keep digging a lot of times what they do is they like take them out put them in a little yeah okay well that won't be in there this whole box is probably just here all right i'm sorry well that's okay there's nothing in there do you know if uh they still have the handhelds somewhere in there it might be upstairs in my closet in the media room closet that i have not finished going through well do you want to like take her number and if you get to them we can just call us and yeah sure make an offer we live like close how much you want for the olympus camera would you mind if we took these cases so we could if we ever find the loose ones we could just fill them up or you can have those okay all i'm going to do is throw them in the garbage okay i'll give you a couple bucks for these you've been very kind to bring an extra box out appreciate you yeah so this is a perfect example of why we love doing what we're doing right so this guy we saw i saw she wasn't out there she was working yesterday yeah he beat me to the sale yesterday and um picked up a stack of books that i wasn't interested anyways and uh lego box which would have been cool to get for like a buck but um he pulled up his vehicle really quick uh and then threw it in the park walked right up the lady and said you have any video games and the lady didn't bring anything out she said oh she said yeah we've got these xbox games yeah she had a couple on the table some were there somewhere so we went up and just started chatting with her and just making friends and then said like do you have any other older stuff like old ds and people don't realize how important it is to make a difference when saying you got any video games and making friends and then being specific because people don't think like oh yeah i have this little nintendo ds and this game boy a lot of times they just don't but if you go that extra mile what did you do she brought a box out that had a stack of ds games in it sure they're empty cases but they're good ones yeah phantom hourglass rds like and she thinks she still has them but you know she's trying to manage her garage sale so we're just gonna leave her number hopefully she calls us back not so if you can take any advice from this one don't just say you got any video games be nice be two be nice make friends with them like ask them how their day has been going that kind of stuff um three smile the guy was super grumpy yeah and then four like after they say no list a couple systems out because it jogs the memory and it's happened twice today the lady brought out a ds and all we asked was like handhelds and all that like she said she said no a couple times to video games and other things so what's the worst that can happen they're never going to see you again no i mean most of the time they won't but i mean or you make friends and they call you back yeah or we make a buddy those are the two options i've never had anybody like sometimes the old people really get grumpy and say like no i don't have video games i don't have any of that no i don't know what that is you're just gonna say no that's the worst that can happen and you never see them again yeah it's okay yeah move to the next one right anyways that's your uh training tip of the week from drpg life let's find some more yard sales how you doing good good good we have a pair that uh grocery bags for whatever you select yesterday hold up and she said i hope they have grapefruit for sale yeah thank you have a great day hold up it's not this guy again it is that guy again so if you guys remember a couple videos back he actually beat us just within minutes to a huge gamecube score the best gamescube score we would have ever seen in our entire years of collecting it was incredible he beat us to it and he was super happy he knew exactly what to get and what not to get and you know i think the lady was charging five bucks a gamecube got things like chibi robo and stuff like that it was incredible yeah so we knew right away like crap he's already getting the good stuff so we had to go in hot hello editing daniel here and uh let me take you through this journey with us so what you're seeing is the most important yard sale of our entire weekend we recorded about well i don't know 40 different clips and uh the only clip that decided to get corrupt for no reason was this yard sale so instead of having the full 25 minutes or so of awesome footage and negotiation all that we get about the first four minutes and that's what we have to deal with so what i'm gonna do is kind of take you through the experience post facto and uh sorry it's not what it's supposed to be but for some reason gopro just decided to uh make it not work anymore and we tried everything we tried recovering everything and this is what you get but let me walk you through it so as you know this guy remember him from the gamecube lot a couple months ago here's elisa there's a bunch of pops we don't know anything about pops they're special editions but there's also these bins behind the table right we're going to get to i'll show you this piece of the video but there's a bunch of xbox games in here nintendo games ps4 games and then there's another bin here which i'll show you just full of genesis ds ps3 uh more genesis we kind of a mix of everything yeah it's hers yeah ultras oh okay yeah sorry hi hello this is my awesome nerdy section so awesome i love it let me know you still putting them out right now basically uh pretty much i'm just gonna leave the games in the bucket so you guys can rifle through them okay the pops up on the table are 50 each and then you can ask me questions about the ones on the floor are the games individually priced or they are individual places not based on titles just based on you know like if their playstation one okay two things like that not playstation one i don't have a playstation one i have two three four and then i have original xbox xbox 360 xbox one sega ds 3ds morrison the ds3ds stuff for sure yeah it's just mingled do you have any of the handhelds like the schedule i have for sale right now is the switch okay gotcha the original model or yeah i think so yeah okay it's a great one cool are you looking to clear it just all out yeah i'm just trying to get rid of it all and do you uh have a price in mind for just all of it no she didn't think that far again i didn't know but those ones are three let me let them look through their goodies first yeah yeah [Music] i know i got the good segas right there well i have a sega system i don't have a game to build it to test it oh i have the the sega game the the second console that came out at gamestop where you know it's basically hdmi compatible oh yeah and then you could just stick the game systems in it i just don't know where that is in this house so it's for you those are just steal the cases by the way oh they are okay yeah that one and then the one on the bottom the lego yeah yeah that's me awesome yes yeah uh for cody i've done it before did she decide what you wanted on the pokemon um 30. yeah you can start your own little pile of unicorns of course the 3ds and ds stuff probably there they're on the bottom of the ground right here i'm sorry i just wouldn't put the games out you can get come come back around then come look at my goodies do you need help to your car um i can take the box if you want i could just come back okay yeah thank you so much yeah of course and then if you guys want i haven't put everything out i don't have that much stuff behind us but you can take a gamble okay put that stuff back there um and just so you know if you do like all them we took all of this and made friends with her lisa made friends with her uh she showed her some more stuff that was in the back and even like not gaming related stuff she saw we like sailor moon so she uh got her some cool sailor moon stuff so stay tuned to the end in the end we're gonna go over what we picked up and you get to see the bulk of this the good news is spoiler alert we went back to this yard sale that you're going to see in next week's video and that's when we hit the best the the highest value item we've ever picked up at a yard sale and just an absolutely incredible day but this still was ridiculous so stay tuned for that and thank you for your understanding we're here we tallied everything up we had an incredible two days day one was weird it's still good i mean for like the hour that i was out is it's pretty good so quick disclaimer we actually have this is gonna be a two-part series uh we had friday pickups and saturday pickups and we went back out on saturday we're gonna actually put that in next week's video because it's too much and you'll see why uh but first of all let's talk about what we got for friday yeah so we're gonna go through this pretty quick we got the serger style singer sewing machine yeah so um this this cuts and sews in case you don't know the difference between a straight stitch sewing machine and a serger so here's the twenty dollar ps4 this is our first ps4 we've ever found a yard sale i didn't think we could do better than that honestly that was incredible and it works great however wow what the hell who does this to controllers seriously i think someone was trying to wedge it open with a box cutter yeah that's insane like someone was very angry but it works fine and we have a box for this yeah thanks to tindo's trash we uh he gave us some extra boxes and we have the one that matches this so we'll probably box that up and sell it like that and you got these uh after i went back to work yeah so this is pretty cool we have one and three on vhs and didn't have two so i saw it for a buck and said sure why not and then on a whim we picked this up or i picked this up uh it's hobby lobby it says 29.99 but i paid two bucks and it's sealed 100 sealed so this sells for about 20 25 plus shipping that's a deal easy flip so then this basically this whole day we spent this is a friday deal right three three yard sales three hits uh on that we spent 50 this we spent 20 and this we spent uh three so 73 spent total value is about 370. but we're going to put that in a box so could go up from there we're just going to go shoot low for now that's a fantastic return yeah so the next day this is where things got good right so we have the first one we had call of duty this is just a condition upgrade for us and it was three bucks perfectly fine clean that one was often asked works great yeah five bucks for that five bucks for the crash team racing in perfect condition that's worth like 25 the console's worth like 50 50. spongebob halisa found this in a dvd only yard sale oh man that was so crazy i was so excited i was hoping to find more but this was it i looked very thoroughly yeah it was a buck and uh it's worth 25. yeah that's great and then this yard sale so this was all off and asked interestingly enough um this was out and she gave it to us for free because elisa was super nice and the lady was super nice and she already had the first one so now we have the second one um i found this sitting there and i thought well this is worth probably two bucks right so she sold it for two and i'm like we'll probably get 20 30 bucks off of it well if you look this up online in this condition so this is a specific model it is the stylus epic dlx this thing sells for over 400 in working condition unfreaking believable yeah we're gonna go have to buy that special battery and some 35 millimeter film make sure it works and then just incredible can't believe so keep your eye on be on the lookout for this that's crazy even a better pickup than the ps4 surprisingly enough so she didn't have any games out she had some empty cases which she gave us these are all empty and we asked for video games and as you saw in the clip we asked differently and she brought this tub out that had some of this stuff so empty case right unfortunately we were really excited when we saw that but i took her number or she give me give her a number and she'll call us if she finds well hopefully she does you know how that goes if she finds any of the um those cartridges still a killer deal though seriously let me get this out of the way yeah let's clear out this stuff because now we gotta talk about the big big mama of sales today it was incredible so this stuff let's let's talk about this so this is the sale where the gopro decided that it wanted to start dying and not working anymore we have to get a new gopro so there's that we bought some big box special editions so resident evil this is the leon kennedy statue complete in box uh this is the stone mason edition of uh god or also super sweet has these two on a statue the steins gate limited edition for switch this steins gate elite we have this on vida limited edition seal but it's kind of cool to get that box too this was the start of a beautiful relationship this made the conversation go into sailor moon between them and turns out this lady likes sailor moon as well so when i expressed interest in sailor moon she pulled these out and these she wasn't sure if she was gonna put them out but when i started talking sailor moon to her she got really excited these are sealed japanese exclusive there are wand replica for sailor neptune and uranus or uranus uranus sailor neptune's here sailor uranus and they combine right yeah so you put them together like this because you know they're cousins yeah but so these she said she thinks they're worth about 120 each and she gave it to us for 120 total yeah 60 each so i saw ones that were used and open go for about 100 a piece but uh new that aren't sold yet the only ship from japan are listed for like three hundred dollars incredible but honestly you might you might end up keeping these yeah i'm probably just gonna keep them because they're pretty sweet they're pretty awesome yeah and then uh we fished through and got some games this one was one i just wanted a collection first person shooters are actually pretty nice on the wii so this is clean and complete resemble umbrella conicals good value also complete uh dark side chronicles this is a game stop trading fodder we'll probably get 9 10 15 bucks depending on the week this is a game i wanted to play but i didn't want to spend any money on i'll probably play it for a couple minutes but this is the aurora steelbook edition uh never heard of this one until the other day looks like a random rpg yeah valthurian arc and it says build and manage a school for rpg heroes so it's like persona meets town builder i don't know or something like that dragon quest builders maybe maybe oh man if it's like dragon quest builders no it looks like roller coaster tycoon style we'll see um herbs sims in the city uh this one is just worth a decent amount it's like 20 bucks so let's get pick up so when we wanted for the collection velvet assassin super clean and complete we love these games i play through heavy rain like three times it's uh choose your own adventure right yeah and uh i'm almost through beyond souls i need to pick that one back up beat detroit look that one too this is the three pack it's kind of nice and rose evil five and then through the sega genesis bin oh yeah dragon's lair for ds pop la croix for 3ds return to public right so fantasia for genesis dracula bram stoker's dracula for genesis batman forever and bart versus the space mutants and then we picked up a bunch she had a ton of steel books and some of these i think might be pal exclusives i'm not 100 sure but comment below if you know so pretty the witcher 3 steelbook it's so nice this video yep the city of nt we love final fantasy stuff although we're not really fighting game fans final fantasy 12 zodiac age steel book it's beautiful this one's really cool oh yeah resident evil biohazard there's no games in these these are just the steel books but they are clean and they're going to look nice on the shelf horizon zero dawn uh who else is super excited for the new one forbidden west coming out oh six days five days yeah uh we're going to play the crap out of that game i saw this yep holo realization sorted out online and then we also picked up this night little nightmares this is just the box without the game but this is probably one of those things we'll take the figure out and display it but it's really nice just threw that in for almost nothing and then this thing so this is a pikachu eevee pokeball collection yeah it's got training cards in it and it's sealed not sure if we're gonna keep it or if we're gonna flip it for more video games yeah it's worth about 50 bucks i do love me some pikachu and evie and pokemon yeah exactly so this was a lot of stuff right and we thought he already got all the good stuff no we we got some good stuff did we talk about this yet yeah it's liam kennedy man it's just i'm so excited for that one same it's gonna look so good so in general um we she negotiated down for all this to 386 total or 370. 370. 370. um but we spent 386 on the day right so total value on the day including all this stuff and the camera and all that assuming we only get 400 bucks for the camera is worth sixteen hundred dollars that is over a four to one multiplier that's pretty insane i didn't expect that the camera kind of threw it off wildly so we'll see how that goes but i mean unbelievable so um she this wasn't uh going back through her footage the negotiations negotiations were on camera she was asking around half on each item but because we made a huge stack yeah every time we added something like the percentage went down further it went to like 40 percent and even lower i think we probably got about 30 so we're kind of expecting like you know maybe break even on the things that we wanted for our collection yeah and turns out no we did great and the camera really helped but uh so comment below what you think of this um and stay tuned because i gotta tell you this is only part one of a part two yard sale day because in part two we went back and when we went back we found the number one most valuable item we've ever bought at a yard sale you need to check it out and watch for next week's video it's absolutely crazy and basically we put a pull-up and on the pull we had four games plus others let you guys vote and it was a very very close race but in the end the winner was magic knight ray earth barely yeah it was
