that I think oh isn't that great okay we're on our way come join us okay we're just at the shop opening a little little early this is my ride over it's 1936 Elvis will see lots more of that when it's a little lighter out hopefully it makes the journey and we're just about to go check out Danis car you want open the door for me Dana this is Dana he owns the XKE has the best ride to Vancouver today well it's nice and warm still in the shop 5:00 in the morning and the other main events back here so this is our restoration car it's gonna be debuting restoration over $100,000 in the Jaguar class this is the car we've been working on for seven months it was a really beautiful car before we started and now it's just absolutely stunning look at that factory hardtop beautiful color combo look at that awesome my friend Eli is gonna join me in the Elvis this is Eli he works a jet stream okay we're on our way okay there's a ride over to Vancouver it's a huge ship called the coastal celebration I can't wait for the breakfast and we parked in the truck lane so we're with a lot of utility vehicles but here's the three-car convoy all together I better look at the Jag now with the hardtop looking nice and sleek and the Healey from last year and me and Norman did a quick drive down the highway everybody's hanging out did the Elvis turn back on well the Elvis's fan is just going to be bobble has an electric fan they yeah electric fan yeah that's their time the only way to keep these things reliable yeah and there she is the Firebird herself taking us all the way over there okay here we are going into the ferry hi everybody there's a big boat really looking forward to the big buffet breakfast oh yeah I got some other classics on board Godfrey joined us here's Jeff hopefully restored mg okay looking good in there guys well here's a traveler we did the engine work on this car and Jason you got a special cargo in here look at that oh here we go [Music] there's it looks good everybody [Music] okay here we are going into the Van Deusen Gardens picking up the package we're gonna park this thing on the field well I got a cool Lotus here oh okay we're getting the package yep perfect all of it right on okay thank you okay just made into our class free War cars got the Elvis next to a beautiful mg Eli's checking it out this mg PA is quite a special car and a beautiful Invicta I believe yeah look at that isn't that cool but I saw some Etape parts on the way in so I me and Godfrey are gonna go do that all right on let's go check out these Etape parts got some good stuff here at the swap meet this gentleman here has so many type stuff look at this full console got a hundred gril 106 Jase is checking out the side screens little ones in impatient one there got some very nice steering wheels original steering wheels yeah good stuff there's a nice radiator cause for a Healey if I had space I'd be takin these ha good stuff here we are Jack man to the e tape class just wiping her down can have a look at this series two versus the series three here Oh Godfrey sticking the wheel I just got $80 originally type wheel yeah I don't know I don't know if I'll ever use it but it's a nice piece to have on the wall see here we go so here it is the the late series 2 in the series 3 so I wonder if it the trim is the same on the front I think it might be I think it might be oh that's ok so yeah look at the gray the grille is on the front hold it but there's a huge scoop the series 3 has a huge scoop on the nose but it has the same chrome trim very interesting yeah just gonna look at our class here its pre-war sports we've got this Elvis with a custom body moving along the line we got a rover it's a rover 10 Tickford drop head Wow look at that and a Bentley with a custom body it's a four place Darby Bentley well the Invicta we saw earlier the mg P and it's a PB with a Tickford convertible body on it of course the all of us which we brought alongside a towel bought with a James young body and another Elvis it's a six-cylinder Elvis it's a speed 20 now these two look really nice together look at that beautiful lineup today yeah that's the pre-war class here Van Deusen and some wonderful cars love to drive home with any of them you know this Tickford car is really special it's owned by Colin Fitzgerald he used to own octagon motors it's a top-level restoration have a look at the interior this green it's really awesome the dashboards been superbly finished steering wheel and everything has the drop head top it's a 2 position so you could have it fully down or up like this and Colin's detailed his trunk here it just looks awesome built-in tools got the the picnic luggage there wow isn't that lovely beautiful presentation loved this great car yeah call ins mg gets my vote for the most elegant car by far the restoration is just astounding you look at little details like these lights there must be totally unobtainium the engines detailed just so lovely it isn't that beautiful you even have the oiling points right here you see the two lanes all in it chassis tags right there he restored it for ten year restoration and doesn't it look lovely look at the painted wire wheels huge white walls yeah this is a real winner okay found something really cool here it's an old race car bug-eyed sprite that's been raised from the 1960s right up into the 1990s it's kind of shown in its as race state totally unrestored so kind of neat cars they really show their history and show their age look a big Weber on there that's really interesting I look at the original hood here you can still see it's still kind of rusty underneath looks like it might have been originally a green car and back here they have a picture of it racing in 1969 you can see it still on the same livery to this day and it was the Knox Mountain Hill Climb and it just fell down here but you can see he erased it and he goes all the way down the bottom here he didn't didn't finish there's a picture of them working on the car a really cool car though it really shows the condition in which race cars are found before they're restored and in many cases it's better not to restore him just to leave them like this very cool car here let's look at the front well that's cool it's neat to see it beside the road going car great stuff okay here we are the Healy class one of the biggest classes here at Van Deusen and we have Norman's bj8 we'll have a quick look at that this is one that we finished last year pretty top level presentation you have a look at the engine bay here just looking as it should and all the right fits and finishes you know I've been talking a lot about this car over the last year's it runs and drives beautifully we have a look at the interior Norman really liked to put the perforated seats in there like a Jaguar Jeff Chrysler did the seats in there total perfection yeah it has a lot of company here in the convertible class yeah looking awesome in this class we can take a little tour the other cars here's one silver on black you don't see that very often that's gonna have a neat color combo keep going down the line oh here's one with a hard top hard tops are pretty rare usually to fit them you have to remove the soft top so you don't see them all that often on these convertible Healy's now this one looks sweet I think White's the right color looks like it might be all original here's the badge on it it's kind of a bubble top it doesn't really suit the lines of the car really well but it's just really neat to see that's nice I'm gonna keep going down here I've got the earlier Healy's being fours being sixes looking great with these flowers in bloom wonderful okay at the cars for sale let's have a look at what we can buy what's on offer first up eat Titan series 1 2 + 2 look at this people a survivor there it is in the engine bay looking all there correct look at this original interior only isn't that special beautiful all automatic let's see what we got let's see if we can get a price 50,000 a steal 50,000 Canadian everybody look at that thanks going today on going today awesome ok this is the best one to buy this is the best one to buy look at this there's the Heritage certificate dark blue with light blue interior beautiful love it buy an f-type kind of cool next to the e-type you can see some of the design cues in the taillights there then we got a mark or 420g the big one yes this is the same engine almost as an e-type oh really nice presentation that's kind of looking kind of dark here this is a big boy is a big jag the biggest jag they ever made look at woodwork in there well isn't that beautiful somebody's came Manuel I really prefer the manual cars this is a big car oh hi again yeah it's gone it's here today yeah yeah look at that 420 isn't that imposing that's a great car perfect compliment to an e-type I think I'm don't go next yes jag oh it looks like a custom e-type here we got some sort of custom e-type series - custom oh you remove the real lights that's kind of a neat look you see the real lights Deb it's kind of a cool look just 71 so much scruffy under the interior in the engine bay here 85 and see what looks like a front pretty house as the standard headlights let's have a look at this rear it has something going on here with this rear end let's have a look at this rear end again because I've often wondered what a CT looks like without that real lights why wasn't that cool it's almost space-age it almost looks like a UFO like this holy that's pretty cool right on okay well that's cars for sale at the Van Deusen Gardens oh wait we got one more jag here we go one more what's that is xk150 coupe sometimes these things are called some Jags here yep look at this really interested in color xk120 drop head holy look at this the thing about these cars is the woodwork the woodwork is just incredible look at that that's a labor of love to get all the wood to look like that the color gets really cool it's like a mafia gray let's not look at the engine bay here OC type head on there that's nice wow what is that yeah it looks like oh like a first-time entrant debuting restoration wow so this is a debut in restoration more than a hundred thousand dollars is a beautiful beautiful presentation there's a Mexican one 50s so what makes the s special is as the triple carbs from the eat a go so here's an execute 150 with triples this is one of the most desirable cars Jaguar ever made 3.8 yeah another another one another 100k exceedingly original got the original dashboard in here the original glovebox you can see the felt there that's all original the seats done by Jeff Chrysler are amazing they're done in cinnamon cinnamon whether the hardtop all the upholstery is original refinished and you can have a look here that this rear glass for the hardtop some plexiglass it's all original one last thing I'll show you is the wheels and tire combinations these are Pirelli Center a dose they came from England from Longstone they mounted and balanced then we put them on the car and they run super super smooth yeah I'm loving this xk120 drop head it's really a sight to behold this dark gray ctype head really top-level presentation you can get a serial number there looks original come on over to the interior though it's really awesome this brown upholstery and just incredible woodwork yeah it's a showstopper that's getting a little closer look at that would work yeah that's what makes these X case are so difficult to restore and so nice when they're done properly look at the trunk area has the spare tire in the trunk here way down low and the jack got the jack painted properly got the Heritage
