where some people are born with the potential to manifest superpowers when they hit puberty and these people are called mutants their genetic mutations are random we opened by scene a mutant named saber-tooth on the news frightening the Foster appearance of a young mutant named Jubilee Jubilee hears this and is understandably upset I used to be a normal kid it's not my fault her foster parents registered her with a private company called the mutant control agency who sent a mutant hunting robot called a sentinel to apprehend her in a mall Jubilee is saved by a group of mutants called the X-Men their leader is Charles Xavier a telepath who dreams that someday mutants and humans will learn to live together in peace and Harmony the X-Men operate out of a school for mutants and they are cyclops leader his girlfriend Jean Gray telepath Beast scientist storm controls the weather claustrophobic Gam it always horny and has energy powers Rogue also always horny but can't touch anyone without absorbing their powers and memories morph shape shifter and Wolverine badass with claws I go I want to go the X-Men realized that the mutant control agency has files on hundreds of mutants who were now in danger after the senal kidnpped Jubilee they lead a mission to break into their headquarters and Destroy these files because it's the '90s and you could actually destroy files back then meanwhile the agency's director the mutant hater Henry Peter grick loses all Government funding the X-Men destroyed the files and save Jubilee but they are attacked by Sentinels Beast is captured and poor morph is killed afterwards Wolverine is mad at Cyclops for leaving him behind soldier boy here left them behind the X-Men destroy the Sentinel base and Jubilee stays with the team uh hey there saber-tooth attacks Beast hearing and the X-Men bring him back to the mansion to try to help him against Wolverine's best advice but you don't know him he can't stay here the X-Men stopped Magneto from launching missiles at Humanity while he and Xavier have a philosophical battle you still dream of peace with those who would destroy all mutants is this your answer this horror but Charles wins the battle by making his best friend relive the Holocaust meanwhile it turns out that the evil mutant saber-tooth was actually an evil mutant Magneto sent him to infiltrate the mansion and then he attacks Jubilee but is stopped barely by Wolverine and while all this is going on an anti- mutant Senator named Kelly announces that he is running for president and right out the gate he leads with internment camps I intend to relocate every mutant in this nation to interment can Scott and Jean go out on a date which aggravates Wolverine because he is in love with Jean but their date is interrupted when a bunch of sewer dwelling mutants named warlocks kidnpped Scott so their leader Kalisto can breed with him someone to provide me an air so take out an ad the show is for kids yep Storm shows up with the X-Men and challenges Kalisto to single combat for leadership at the morlocks she wins despite her claustrophobia and says that Kalisto can roll in her place but then Wolverine leaves the team he left because of me Wolverine goes to live with an Inuit tribe in Alaska I feel at peace 5 minutes later there's no peace for me Sabertooth attacks the village and Wolverine returns home meanwhile three of the X-Men go to a mutant resort called josha where they are attacked by Sentinels and enslaved with control collars Gambit storm and Jubilee fight against their capts and there are lots of fun cameos including a freedom fighter named the name's cable it turns out that josha is actually being built as a new stronghold to build more Sentinels which are being spewed out by a towering robot called Master Mold who is destroyed when he can't escape water I am still plugged in the X-Men returned to find the Mansion to destroyed and the professor missing and they suspect a Russian mutant named Colossus but it turns out that it was a magical villain named Juggernaut who is also the professor's half brother don't you know who I am I'm the Juggernaut Jean takes away juggernaut's memory temporarily and Colossus helps them to rebuild the Mansion after I fix your house Professor it turns out is at a genetic research facility on M Island and it's run by his old friend moir mtag who rins out space to a Dr Adler who is developing a way to cure mutants of their abilities This research is being funded by a mutant named Warren worington the third who for some reason hates that he can fly cable shows up to kill Adler Rogue flies to Scotland to cure her powers because she can never touch another person and like I said she's way hot for Gambit what's wrong sh you know what happens when I touch somebody you want to end up in the hospital long story short Adler is actually a shape shifter named Mystique who works for a villain called Apocalypse look upon the future and tremble apocalypse is obsessed with survival of the fittest and wants to remake the World In His Image now Rogue changes her mind but apocalypse trans forms warm into the Archangel apocalypse and His Four Horsemen attack Humanity but they are stopped by the X-Men during this fight we can also see the famous still of Rogues butt the internet for some reason is really obsessed with how about getting your butt out of my car Warren overcomes his brainwashing and saves the day now it's time for Days of the Future Past in the far future Sentinels are hunting down and Exterminating mutants an elderly Wolverine and a scientist named Forge sent a mutant back in time named Bishop to stop the assassination of Senator Kelly which they believed created this dystopian future Bishop tells the X-Men that Gambit was actually the Assassin so they all head to Washington to save the future but it turns out the Mystique was the one who tried to kill Kelly while pretending to be Gambit and she did this on apocalypse's orders the X-Men Fight mystique's group the Brotherhood of mutants and they narrowly saved Kelly's life but Rogue lets Mystique go after Mystique reveals that she actually is the person who raised Rogue when she was a kid Mama but more on that in a bit in the far future Bishop returns to find that the future is still shitty it's all just like I left it because in the present day Senator Kelly has been kidnapped by Magneto if Kelly isn't found an anti-mutant fever could sweep the nation destroying us all Magneto and Kelly are then kidnapped by Sentinels because it turns out that Master Mold did not die and has plans of his own I am giving the orders now and he makes sure to lay This Bitter irony down on his human Creator mutants are human therefore humans must be protected from themselves the X-Men save Kelly's life and then Kelly changes his mind on mutants Beast is pardon and Scott asked Jee to marry him but they're being watched sister knows what your future holds Wolverine is all pissed off that Jean is marrying Scott so he spends her entire wedding pretending to beat up Cyclops in the danger room and then he tries to tell her how he feels Jean I still I have to go it turns out that the priest that married Scott and Jean is actually morph who is totally evil now because he's being mind control by a super villain named Mr sinister sinister is a geneticist who is obsessed with the D of Scott and Jee and has watched them for their entire lives and from your Offspring I will control the future of all human creatures on Earth creepy Senator Kelly has become president and his PR mutant policies have inspired a group of bigots called the Friends of Humanity to frame mutants for terrorist acts to sway public opinion against them what did we ever do to you you were born morph poses as Magneto to get Xavier to fly off to Antarctica and he is all conflicted about the Mind Control Sinister attacks Scott and Jee on their honeymoon while morph reveals that he was the priest who married them and they're not really married and then Scott sways him back to the light whatever happened you're still part of the team you're still one of the X-Men Sinister runs away and Xavier and Magneto realize that they were each tricked into going to Antarctica now in this season we get to see a bit of everybody's backstory in Standalone episodes storm travels to Africa where her godson has been possessed by an evil mutant called The Shadow King she and Rogue trap him back in the astral Dimension where he came from meanwhile Xavier and Magneto discovered the stav land this is a prehistoric environment with dinosaurs and indigenous humans Magneto used to have a citadel here and they discover that the mutants who used to serve under him now serve a mysterious new master also now Charles can walk somehow that's weird no it's not weird it's a miracle in the former Soviet Union a mutant cold warrior named Omega Red overthrows the democratic government you cannot stop me I can you stinking octopus just like last time you see he and Wolverine have a history the X-Men team up with Colossus to stop his coup and Russia remains free and Democratic to this Wolverine is kidnapped by a team of Canadian super mutants called alphal flight now it turns out that after the government experimented on Wolverine alphaflight took him in and made him a team member but he walked away and now the government wants him back we saved you we gave you back your life how could you leave us so I could be your weapon Alpha flight frees their old friend and Wolverine goes back to his family the X-Men and then we travel to Louisiana where we learned that Gambit was raised to be a member of the Thieves Guild who have a centuries old blood Feud with the assassins guild where they V for the favor of immortal mutants called the externals and they earned this favor by saying the word tithe a lot long story short the assassins guild tried to frame the Thieves Guild the X-Men saved the day and the X-Men are Gambit's new family in the far future cable is fighting the forces of Apocalypse when a Time Vortex erases his world Tyler help me dad it turns out that Bishop messing with the past last season changed Cable's future and bishop's alternate future we now find out that a plague has devastated the world but this plague actually happens to save mutants because because in Cable's future much further than Bishops mutants need these antibodies that were produced from the early exposure to the plague so Bishop travels back in time to try to stop this plague and he finds out that the Friends of Humanity are actually trying to say that this technov virus was caused by mutants it turns out that the F's leader Victor Creed was actually secretly working for Apocalypse bishop and the X-Men show up but apocalypse wents and kills everybody and spreads the plague across the world in the next episode cable relives all the events that we just saw and kidnaps Wolverine so he can expose him to the virus Wolverine's mutant healing Factor creates the antibodies that mutants need to survive in the future and this preserves Cable's timeline yes science in the next episode we find out that after rogue's birth family rejected her because of her mutant Powers Mystique actually trained her to be one of a team of evil mutants on a mission she encountered the superhero Miz Marvel Carol Danvers you know her and permanently absorbed her powers and memories Carol is still trapped inside rogue's mind and after an astral battle Carol is contained but Rogue still visits her in the hospital also Mystique is working for Mr Sinister the next episode beating the Beast is one of the best of the entire series Beast has been working to heal a blind woman named Carly and they fall in love but her parents are massive bigots who want Hank to stay away from her why did this have to happen to me why can't I be normal meanwhile the Friends of Humanity kidnap Carly so Wolverine poses as one of them and helps Beast rescue her Wolverine taunts Victor Creed with the Hologram of his father the mutant Sabertooth I hate him I not like him when Carly gets her sight back she still loves Hank but he says that he can't be with her because it would only place her in danger carry my love with you always that's so sad yes it is in the next episode we are introduced to Mojo World a dimension where everyone is basically watching Blood Sport all the time the ruler Mojo draws his power from eyeballs watching his shows they want Blood and Guts and love and hate they want entertainment after his biggest star a mutant named long shot walks away Mojo kidnaps the X-Men to make them his new stars but they are freed by long shot and they fight their way home back in the Savage land Magneto and Xavier are captured by mutants who now serve Mr Sinister and Sinister also kidnaps morph and Jean Gray then Sinister uses this villain called Sauron the eye of Sauron different Sauron to mind control Professor Xavier into summoning all the X-Men to his Palace Sauron draws his strength from sapping mutant energy and more on him later the X-Men arrive in the Savage land discover they have lost their powers and they're all easily captured except for Wolverine Wolverine teams up with the hero kesar to infiltrate the palace does this leather chicken have seat belts Sinister Reveals His evil plan to genetically alter a new master race that he controls but the X-Men destroy his power dampening device more finally turns on Sinister and the X-Men blast him into tiny pieces that are actually still alive the future cannot be destroyed afterwards Magneto reiterates that he and Xavier are just friends and not a thing we each have our own destiny only the future will prove prove which one of us is right next we meet a new villain Lady Death Strike who discovers an alien ship buried in the Warlock tunnels Now Lady Death Strike was once Wolverine's true love Maro but after he left to go get experimented on she underw a radical change of her own becoming a cyborg with adamantium claw implants now she hates Wolverine and wants the secrets inside the ship but it turns out that the ship was housing an Alien Parasite the X-Men defeat the creature but Xavier starts getting telepathic warnings of an even greater threat teasing the Phoenix Saga after Professor X has a nightmare of a space battle and an alien calling out to him he sends the X-Men to hijack a shuttle to a space station where they fight an alien villain called Eric the Red you know what would be a really kickass name they stop his evil plan but Jean has to take control of the ship on re-entry and she apparently dies oh no oh but fear not buddy because Gan is reborn as the Phoenix a cosmic entity that actually uses Jean's body as a host I am Phoenix Xavier's contact with the alien being causes him to lose control of his power so he returns to mure Island where he finally meets the alien a sexy bird Empress named [Music] landra lra's brother Deen is the newly crowned emperor of the shiar Empire and he is also completely insane and he wants a super powerful McGuffin called the macron crystal lre is an outlaw because she has hidden the Crystal from her evil insane brother because he could use it to destroy the universe also Xavier and lra fall in love Eric the Red is working for Deen and he hires Juggernaut and black Tom Cassidy to kidnap LeAndre long story short the X-Men Tracked Down L landra with with the help of moira's boyfriend a mutant named The Banshee who makes this horrifying sound when he flies the leader of the shiar Guard a non Invincible Alien named Gladiator shows up defeats the X-Men but then they are all saved by Phoenix oh and in the middle of all this there's also an Irish fist fight fists usually settle things I my fists uh the '90s oh and this is also the episode with the random frame from the animators telling the editor to delete the frames whoopsie then the Phoenix takes the landra and the team into space to protect the Crystal the X-Men arrive at the Crystal but they are attacked by a group of space pirates called the star Jammers and their leader Corsair is actually cyclops' secret father although neither of them realize it do you have any children no I wouldn't know mine now if I saw them except I remember my oldest boy he had his mother's eyes Corsair steals the crystal so he can use it to get close to to Ken and assassinate him but the assassination attempt fails and the evil Deen gets the all powerful mcran Crystal so Phoenix enters the crystal to fight Deen and the chaotic energy of the crystal ripples throughout the whole universe lots of Epic cameos and then an epic fight between Phoenix to Ken the Shar Imperial Guard the star Jammers and the X-Men and when it's over Jean has to take the crystal into the Sun for safekeeping and everybody thinks she's dead Jean goodbye my friends I love you [Music] all then lolandra returns to space to rule her people Scott's all sad and angry about Jean I'm sick of the responsibility I'm sick of being dadmother to a bunch of quibbling children children I can't do it anymore so he returns to the orphanage where he grew up stops a mutant trafficking ring and then finds out that Jee is still alive inside the Sun Archangel Wants Revenge on the thousands of year old mutant apocalypse so he scours the Earth for a way to defeat him he and the ex-men find apocalypse's ship and the ship and Beast develop a very special relationship ship you are a work of art thank you Henry McCoy you have no idea what a pleasure it is to interface with someone who appreciates the subtleties of my programming so the ship turns on apocalypse but is forced to sink itself into the ocean to trap him basically sacrificing itself Farewell My [Music] friend back in Mojo World there is an open Rebellion against Mojo and Longshot whose superpower is being really lucky that's not a superpower yeah it is is transported to the X-Men's Universe Jubilee develops a crush on him you have great courage thank you you're welcome and to spice up the ratings Mojo travels to our world to defeat the X-Men however he loses the battle returns home and long shot follows to fight the tyranny of Mojo I love these Mojo episodes because the bad guy is essentially a parody of TV Executives the ratings are going through the RO next a former X-Men named Iceman breaks into a government facility and he's captured by the X-Men Scott does not like his Rebel attitude I chose to think for myself instead of always playing the good soldier boy but Jubilee has a crush on him so she helps him break back into the facility to save his girlfriend another xx- man named Polaris but it turns out Polaris just ghosted Bobby and left him to join a government super team called xfactor where she fell in love with a mutant named Havoc also havoc and cyclops's mutant Powers don't seem to affect each other I don't understand G very interesting and then we go back to the Savage land where kesar's people have overthrown Sauron and it turns out Sauron is actually a regular guy named Carl lyos but then Carl is manipulated by an ancient evil God called gck into becoming Sauron again also gck could draw the X-Men back to the Savage land so gck could drain Storm's power the X-Men defeat gck I was so Carl is no longer Sauron and the mutants return home Jean Gray has returned from the Sun but the Phoenix force is still possessing her feeding off her emotions it's hopeless how can anyone live possessed by another being then she's kidnapped by a group of aristocratic mutants called the hellfire club who want to brainwash her into becoming their new member the brainwashing works and now Jean otherwise known as The Black Queen betrays the X-Men Wolverine fights to break into the hellfire club while Scott has a psychic battle with the hellfire club for Jean Soul your pathetic attempt to use me has opened my eyes but the damage is done and the full dark Phoenix is released I am the dark Phoenix Phoenix keeps Jean's body so she can feed off her emotions while Wolverine doesn't like ducks ducks I hate ducks Ducks Jean tries to fight the Phoenix but she flies off into space and feeds off of a son catching the attention of the shiar Empire who come to Earth to arrest Jean and Destroy her the conclusion of the dark Phoenix Saga is one of the all-time best episodes the X-Men challenged the shiar Imperial Guard for Jean's life theander sworn Duty as empress prevents her from helping Charles the man she loves the X-Men are defeated as Jee unleashes the dark Phoenix to save them but then she has what alcoholics refer to as a Moment of clarity and sacrifices herself the Phoenix leaves her body in the men have to offer a small piece of their own life forces to bring Jean back to life in the next episode Corsair comes to Earth and he and cyclops find out they're related when they fight a renegade sh Commander but give me back my dog tags they're all that's left of my family sure I wait a minute this is a picture of me rogue's childhood boyfriend shows up and suddenly they can touch at the same time an alien race of parasites called The Brood invade Earth and their plan was to use Cody to infect Rogue and other mutants with their spores so they could take over and assimilate planet Earth w cockroach is from Mars large economy size but after Wolverine's body rejects the spores Professor X is able to telepathically communicate with their fish ship and send them back into space Rogue I do love you so finally we can be together this is another altimer episode The Juggernaut returns and we learn why he hates the professor his dad was a jiggalo who beat Kane Marco and tried to steal Charles's family fortune however the X-Men still saved juggernaut's Life by restoring his powers because after all he's family you don't turn your back on family then America tries to use Omega Red to take control of a nuclear sub but Omega Red Double crosses them and almost launches nukes at America until the X-Men stop him and then a major episode Magneto creates an asteroid base that he declares will be a Haven for all mutants where any Mutant may live apart from Humanity free from its cruelty mutants from all over the world including the slave state josha join asteroid M including Fabian who claims to be loyal to Magneto but actually uses his powers to weaken him instead and then he takes control of asteroid M and Frames the X-Men for Magneto's death Fabian is now in control of the asteroid but one of his followers Professor Xavier's ex-lover Amelia is suspicious of him she finds out that Fabian tried to kill Magneto and take over so Fabian launches nuclear missiles at the Earth but he is stopped by the combin forces of Xavier and Magneto asteroid him crashes into the planet and Magneto's dream is dead but Xavier still hopes that someday they can work together his dream is gone he could help us as you could Amelia to fulfill my dream but also Fabian was saved by apocalypse the Shadow King returns and attacks Professor Xavier and through flashbacks we learn that the two of them fought before 20 years earlier the Shadow King was the first evil mutant that Xavier has ever met and thus he was the reason that Charles founded the X-Men Xavier and Jee beat him in the astral plane morph is rehabilitated on M Island it's good to have your back kid he's over the mind control but he's still has lingering PTSD when a rebooted Master Mold orders the Sentinels to kidnap Xavier more freezes up the s then captur the X-Men as well as gurick and tras who have been living in Exile ever since they ordered robots to kidnap a sitting United States Senator anyways morph overcomes his PTSD beats the senal but he declares that he's not quite mentally strong enough to rejoin the X-Men he'll always be an ex-man Scott goes to visit a nice Doctor Who helped to raise him when he was an orphan but then he ends up rescuing the doctor's mutant Safe Haven from these evil mutants at a town in Germany towns people attack a scary looking mutant named Nightcrawler Harless fools know not what they do the X-Men take a break from their ski vacation to investigate and discover that Nightcrawler is actually a religious monk in a nearby Monastery one of the other monks ends up betraying him because he thinks he's a demon and then he almost burns the monastery down but Nightcrawler chooses to forgive him and use this as a teaching moment for Wolverine the foundation God has built in our hearts can never be destroyed man I don't get you and Wolverine ends the episode praying in a church in Bishop's future the machine send an assassin back to night 1959 to kill a young college day's Professor Xavier afterwards the present day becomes a dystopian nightmare where a mutant Army led by Magneto is fighting off the human race storm and Wolverine are actually married in this new timeline Bishop travels back to that time and recruits them to go back in time further and save Xavier's life but they're too late and he dies in the alternate 2055 Sentinels now rule the world Bishops storm and Wolverine just barely escaped the Sentinels and they travel back in time again to 1959 to prevent the assassination of Xavier and this time they succeed and then alternate universe storm and Wolverine share one last kiss before they take off their time bands and cease to exist it was good darling it was the best tough guy on M Island Moira Mater's son Kevin lives in a containment cell because he cannot control his mutant powers that allow him to reshape reality and possess people's bodies through a series of flashbacks we see that Moira and Charles were once engaged and she broke it off to be with Kevin's father who later rejected Kevin AKA prodius and now prodius escapes to try to find his politician dad all these daddy issues give Rogue flashbacks of her own childhood you ain't my daughter not anymore prodius royally screws up Wolverine that confronts his dad on television Xavier helps him work through his issues and the family is reunited quick silver and the Scarlet Witch tried to discover the identity of their real father by journeying to mount wagor where a scientist named the high evolutionary is trying to create the perfect Society side note the high evolutionary also created the Machinery that created the Savage land and he originally defeated gck meanwhile the high evolutionary tricks Magneto into coming to oneor and reveals that Magneto is actually the twin's father allow me to introduce Magnus husband of Magda and your father they defeat the high evolutionary but the twins still blame Magneto for their mother's death how can they ever forgive me for what I did to their mother the Friends of Humanity are back in stirring up trouble and Gren Creed wants to prove his worthiness to the group so he uses Mystique to trick Nightcrawler and Rogue into coming to a Friends of Humanity base and then there are some massive reveals Mystique is not only Nightcrawler's mom which makes him and Rogue adopted brother and sister but also mystique and saber-tooth had a son together one gr and Creed and along the way Nightcrawler is like your superch Christian friend who turns every conversation into a testimony but in our times of loneliness we forget that we are all part of a greater family a family of God Mystique explains that she abandoned Nightcrawler and he forgives her so she takes a bullet for him and then explains her own Shape Shifter angst I just steal little bits from other people's lives that's how I survive then the Friends of Humanity drop off gr and Creed to be with his dad Sabertooth my son the famous Slayer of mutants Wolverine's past traumas start to overwhelm him so he leaves the X-Men to return to Japan I just want to live in peace and then a thug tries to shake down this peaceful Village for food and Wolverine is forced to embrace violence to save these peaceful people Wolverine's flashbacks continue drawing him back to the military base where he got his adamantium skeleton he keeps dreaming of dead people from his past his friend Maverick and his girlfriend Silver Fox and he relives the mission where saber-tooth left them to die but at this base he finds Sabertooth Maverick and Silver Fox they're not only alive but they've also all been drawn back here they discovered that most of their memories were implanted to help control them although they were mixed in with some real memories they barely escape a robot designed to terminate them and then Wolverine insists to Silver Fox that their love is real but some of you and me must have been true you remember the cabin I carved our names in that door but once again Wolverine does not get the girl although the final shot reveals that some parts of their love story was true jubilees is all excited about her first Christmas with the real family while the X-Men honor time Ed Christmas traditions like trimming the tree and having fights in the kitchen the day that I need your help in the kitchen is the day that I stop cooking but while they're out shopping they discover that the Morlock child leech is dying Wolverine gives him a blood transfusion and Jubilee is shocked to see how the morlocks celebrate Christmas eating out of pain cans by A Charlie Brown Christmas tree but storm tells her as long as you are part of a caring family every day of the year is Christmas so then Jubilee gives all her presents to the Morlock kids and they all spend Christmas together that's so nice yes it is and then storm transfers leadership of the morlocks back to Kalisto next is an epic for parter that was originally meant to end the entire series before they were picked up for season 5 in the distant future cable tries to destroy apocalypse's Resurrection chamber but apocalypse steals his time travel device so this interferes with Bishop traveling to his present and then he is trapped at a place outside of the time stream called the axis of time Scott and Jean's second wedding is interrupted by Mr Sinister and the nasty boys who kidnpped Jean Bishop sister sh time travels back to the x- Manion and we find out that Sinister and every other villain the X-Men have ever face are all working for apocalypse apocalypse kidnaps psychics from across the time stream including the shiar Oracle with the help of land landra sister death bird Warren Worthington catches a psychic named psylock trying to rob him Wolverine shows up and then they all fight saber-tooth mystique and Magneto who are also all working for Apocalypse so why are they working for Apocalypse well Sinister wants to make a perfect mutant race while using apocalypse's time travel machinery and Magneto wants to create a perfect future for mutants where his wife Magda is still alive the X-Men captures saber-tooth and Wolverine tortures him for information and I should note here that Archangel has now gotten over his need for revenge against Apocalypse in the future cable steals a giant time machine called grey malcol and he and the X-Men use it to travel back to apocalypse's first resurrection chamber in ancient Egypt where apocalypse brings a trap kidnapping Professor Xavier and bringing along Wolverine to Bear witness then apocalypse Reveals His True plan to erase all of existence and start again Magneto and Mystique rebel against him and start a villain Civil War so now only Magneto Wolverine and Bishop are the people at the axis of time who can stop apocalypse cable Ares right when people across the universe start to get erased so Bishop starts blasting the psychics free reversing the Erasure of time and space apocalypses Fortress is destroyed the villains escape and all the psychics team up to erase apocalypse from existence and then it's revealed that it was actually a mortise AKA K who built the axis of time to begin with while Magneto and Xavier teased that they might be open to working together in the future did it feel so odd Magnus working together no Charles perhaps if we could start the world over it would be possible again just kiss already and fun fact the original ending of this episode would have seen storm Cyclops Gene and the professor leaving the team while adding Bishop Shard Archangel and psylock but then Fox ordered more episodes so let's move on to season 5 the one with bad animation and hey here's a bonus the X-Men actually crossed over with two episodes of Spider-Man the Animated Series another excellent Saturday morning Marvel show Spider-Man's blood has been mutated so he seeks out Xavier's help when he's captured by the X-Men after a brief misunderstanding in a fight but I don't want to be a freak watch your mouth pal Peter Parker attends a seminar from a man who says that he can cure mutants and his research actually came from the Beast research the research you started to prevent yourself from turning into a hairy animal Spider-Man and Wolverine rescue beast and then team up to stop a renegade mutation and at the end of the day Spider-Man isn't cured but he has friends you got friends if you need them season 5 starts with the X-Men fighting off an alien invasion from the fail lanks a technologically advanced Empire that assimilates other worlds the prince of the failinks Warlock didn't like his people's warmongering ways so he and his betro fled to Earth but his Queen was captured by Cameron hodj this guy from the government and when their minds meshed they started to assimilate the entire world all life on this world will attain the Perfection of the fail most of the team is quickly assimilated so Beast has to team up with Forge from xfactor Warlock and Mr Sinister and then they recruit a super depressed Magneto who has really let himself go losing asteroid am has made me weary of this life Dr McCoy weary of this endless struggle Magneto only agrees to help to save his son Quicksilver they free the X-Men and xfactor and introduce a computer virus to the failinks and warlock travels back to his home world to change his people's War mongering ways also it seems like Magneto is getting along with the sun next are the worst two episodes in this entire show so I will be brief a guy named archon From Another Dimension kidnaps storm to save his home World storm does this then for some reason falls in love with him and accepts his marriage proposal storm will you rule by my side as empress yes yes I will the other X-Men figure out very quickly that this guy is a tyrant who enslaves people but storm is blinded by her love for the man she met 5 minutes ago archon is a kind and decent man eventually though she works it out they are not servants are they they are slaves before going home she destroys the bad guy's magic antenna but leaves him in power saying no living being has the right to enslave another next we go to Central America where Fabian Cortez is trying to find a host body for apocalypse's disembodied spirit because now apocalypse is kind of like Voldemort he kidnaps Jubilee to make her the new host body and then mutates Beast to make him into a monster one of the new Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse caliban knows Jubilee from josha so he betrays apocalypse helps free Jubilee and ultimately apocalypse returns by using Fabian as a host body in the next episode Jubilee tells a bunch of kids fairy tales using the X-Men as inspiration it's a really fun episode pulled straight from the comics but not really Canon so we can skip over the details fun episode though we flash back to Logan's time was a spy in World War II when he sent on a mission to recover a scientist from the Germans and he teams up with Captain America here son I believe this is yours the two of them face off against the Red Skull and discover that the scientist has actually defected to the Nazis years later when Logan's at the scientist grave his daughter shows up and tells him that her dad was actually feigning defection to sabotage the Nazis and then Logan carves the word hero into the man's tombstone in Kentucky a young mutant Named Sam Guthrie uses his powers to save Miners and afterwards a military man named gerland shows up to recruit him into some kind of Black Ops agency Sam says no and then he gets a visit from Rogue who actually sounds a lot like she's grooming him no 16-year-old boy could mind a visit from a good old southern gal and it turns out gerin is actually forming a black ops military unit that brainwashes mutants Sam escapes as brainwashing and the X-Men expose his schemes and we learned that Cameron hodj who was no longer part of alien Machinery was behind the project all along what the second to last episode of the series is a fullon flashback to Victorian London showing the origin of Mr Sinister Xavier's ancestor inspector James Xavier befriends a scientist named Nathaniel Essex Essex is obsessed with Darwin's theory of evolution and Humanity's next Leap Forward so he uses human test subjects to create people with powers we shall become more than men we shall be Gods Asic experiments on himself and Embraces his new name from this day forward you shall address me as Mr Sinister his mutations are freed and then run rampant into the sewers of London and in the present day Xavier still has Mr Sinister signed copy of Darwin's Origin of the species and now the final episode graduation day Xavier is addressing the UN when Henry Peter grick Who's Back attacks him with a device that amplifies his powers to basically out him as a mutant could Charles Xavier be a stinking mutant himself the public attack spreads outrage across the planet sparking mutant uprisings experts say the mutant Rebellion will quickly dissipate unless it finds a leader the X-Men cannot help the dying professor and they know that the alien shiar could treat him but without Xavier's telepathic abilities they have no way to contract Alandra now Magneto who has taken over the island of josha sees his opportunity we are the living future of this Mighty Planet this world is our world now morph poses as Xavier to try to calm everybody down and the other X-Men travel to josia to beg Magneto to not start a mutant Uprising but they work out that his magnetic powers can actually amplify Xavier's brain waves and summon theer from space in other words Magneto could give up his dream to save his best friend's life but I have waited all all my life for this moment wouldn't he do it for you it works and Xavier regains Consciousness just long enough to say some heartfelt paring words to each of his students Rogue unable to touch yet you will find you have touched us all that no true son could ever be I am proud and his last words are incredibly touching proud of you all my X-Men the landra shows up and takes Xavier off the space Maybe forever leaving Magneto and the X-Men to watch them fly away well guys that's the entire series
