We Bought An AMPHIBIOUS Vehicle?!

we've had our fair share of Craigslist Adventures what have I gotten myself into but this week we find ourselves in a whole new territory we've never bought a boat or a UTV and somehow we find ourselves Crossing both off the list at once that is awesome it totally works it's it's a boat and an ATV don't waste any time putting it to the test but this is only the beginning for this crazy machine and you're going to want to keep watching to find out why we plan to completely cut this thing apart thank you good morning and welcome back to the channel I think today is going to be a bit of an adventure believe it or not my wedding vows included a line where I promised Riley that I would go on every Christmas adventure with him and today is one of those days if all goes as planned this should be a three hour drive so let's do this foreign [Music] these days a lot Courtney had to stop and pee for the first time before we even made it all the way down our driveway two hours down one hour to go a whole another hour in case you guys are wondering about my sweet Shades I forgot sunglasses but luckily Courtney had a pack of pair of the car are you excited I am so excited it sort of just hit me how excited I am um my my feet are shaking I don't I don't I don't I have no idea what to expect right now whoa that's a big is this shop or a house I have no that's I like that whatever that is I like that we had to live in town I think that would be our house what there it is I thought it had six tires no it has eight well nine I didn't know about the ninth time I didn't I thought it was six by six eight by eight is it a boat is it an ATV or is it a snowmobile or a plane oh my goodness okay [Music] I think we'll take it Mountain neutral no it's a neutral oh wow what are your thoughts that was amazing this thing is gonna be so fun does it feel weird holding handlebars this is so such a weird control system we've got handlebars to make a skid steering thing and is it a boat or is it an ATV we forgot our ramps so we're gonna try to just drive it up onto the trailer did we just do we just buy that Gordon what do we gotten ourselves into so when we sold the camper we made a promise to each other that we would spend some of the money of the camper on something fun for us so that we could have fun this summer I think we were thinking more something along the lines of like another camper or UTV or like you know a mountain bike or a trip but um instead I think it's gonna be so much fun to have on the property and I think it's gonna allow us to do some clearing some trail building and also just have fun it is so cool and it is unlike anything I've ever driven before I this this thing's gonna be a blast this is going to be the longest three hour drive of my life because I am so excited to get it home and try it out are you gonna drive it up the hill well yeah give the straps a quick check it's like the tires are so soft that it just wants to bounce around on the trailer a little bit but one two three four five six seven eight has it set in yet they go own this no it hasn't look how cool it is well we are almost home we're not going to tow the loaded trailer up the hill so we decided to just unhitch the trailer with the Argo at the bottom of the hill and come back tomorrow in the daylight I want to drive it so bad but we're gonna wait and do everything in the daylight tomorrow so with that you guys we'll see you tomorrow see you tomorrow foreign did you sleep last night not even a wink we're so excited to get this thing home we're going to take it the old way because that's gonna give us an opportunity to really test it out we cannot ask for a more beautiful day to do this and I'm really looking forward to going on a little Adventure okay uh on choke right sorry neutral [Music] here we go it's just hanging off the edge what never drive on public roads huh friend me buckle up it doesn't have seats it doesn't have seat belts ready um yeah here we go [Music] oh my gosh it just turned around right there oh I died does that feel um yes okay ready yeah neighbor I like this yeah uh We've uh We've driven it as far as from right there to right here so far we just got it it's clean Tire about to get muddy yeah [Music] foreign [Music] driving the Argo I mean you didn't really show me how to drive it so [Music] foreign [Music] do I go for it yeah [Music] am I doing a good job you're doing a great job should I just keep going straight right yeah I'm not gonna roll over am I I don't know [Laughter] [Music] [Laughter] you almost ran me over just driving on the snow it just drove right over that yeah right over the bank and then you almost ran me over oh okay Courtney first impression what do you think of this machine steering is a little bit weird and the fact that the throttle is kind of like a brake pedal on a bike so this is the throttle and this is the break and this is how you steer so when I steer all it's doing is cutting power to one side and trans I think it transfers power to the other side so it's kind of like a skid steer but it's shaped like a UTV so I think the answer is I don't know what to think about this thing but that was fun my thoughts of this thing are that it is very silly and very fun we know that it does well in mud now we know it does well on the road and we're about to find out how well it does on the snow it just floats right on top let's see what this thing can really do in the snow place your bets on how soon you think Riley gets it stuck [Music] boom boom road because I was excited and I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing there we go okay keep going I know that it probably looks like I got stuck on purpose so we could use the winch to get ourselves out but I promise I did not get stuck on purpose [Music] oh yeah foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] it's time to go boating I'm excited I have no idea what to think right now are we sure it floats here we go and we're fighting [Applause] oh yeah it's stable [Applause] there are a dozen people on the other dock watching me right now I hit a rock okay he's gonna attempt to go on land oh my God [Music] oh [Music] my God that is awesome it totally works it's it's a boat and an ATV it's a slow boat but it's a really fun boat [Music] than I am looking I really wasn't sure what I was getting the highways oh you act like gravity [Music] [Music] [Music] before [Music] [Music] I am back on my own again which I think is permission to be a little more Reckless here we go we're launching the boat at like too fast oh I could have gone faster we're gonna try that again guys all right here we go launching the boat [Music] I didn't know what to expect today but that was so much fun so far this thing has been exceeding pretty much all of my expectations however there is one glaring issue with it which is that it's really loud and this wouldn't be ambition strikes if we didn't take this thing and turn it into a big project so our plan is actually to convert this Argo into an all-electric vehicle that's going to be silent faster and more powerful the the faster and more powerful is a little bit terrifying but I'm really excited about the silent part and I'm really excited to see how this project turns out plus that's going to mean that we're going to be able to power
