World's Most Exclusive First Class- Air France La Premiere

today I am flying on the most exclusive first class in the world wow I'm in love from six full feet of leg room to michelin-starred meals and even floor-to-ceiling curtains that close for full privacy air France's La Premiere cabin is one of the most difficult to book and is as close as you can come to Flying private I'll show you what it's like to fly in this ten thousand dollar seat and show you exactly how I was able to book this for a small fraction of that price and make sure to stick around to the end to see air France's La Premiere airport lounge which is said to be the best on the planet I'm currently at the Mexico City International Airport and today my flight is 11 hours to Paris look at this not a single person in the LA Premiere line when you book the LA Premiere Cabin Air France gives you your own personal escort to take you through security and take you through the lounge seat 1l people probably think I'm so weird around me because I'm smiling so big thank you Air France doesn't have a lounge at the Mexico City airport but there is a centurion Lounge here since I have the American Express Platinum Card I'm able to get into this Lounge for free most airport lounges have buffets where you just go and pick out whatever Foods you want this one actually has an A La Carte menu where you can order full entrees now I've tried to keep it light because I want to save room for all the incredible food on board Air France today so I've gone for a Caesar salad and the salmon over lentils foreign that salmon is to die for and even though this Lounge is incredible it pales in comparison to the Air France la Premiere Lounge that I'll be visiting later today I just learned that the Caesar salad was actually invented in Tijuana Mexico and they use the same recipe here that that original restaurant in Tijuana uses I guess I ordered the right thing this salad is delicious this is perfect thank you so much welcome Air France does partner with one other Lounge in this airport called the Grand Lounge Elite and when I showed her my boarding pass three people escorted me up the stairs to this private room which has a chair in it that says zero gravity I think it's a massage chair [Music] what is happening so I guess this is what a zero gravity chair is it's kind of comfy but I don't think I could lay here like this for very long oh I found the massage button changed my mind I love this wow what a cool surprise I was just sitting here enjoying my zero gravity chair and the workers here at the lounge brought me this that is a photo of me and Chloe and Lennon on top of a drink I'm honestly not sure how they found that photo so cool though top notch and masseuse just came in the room and I am currently getting a hand massage thank you so much now that the muscles are all relaxed let's go board this flight they had a cart waiting outside the lounge for me this feels a little extra [Music] buenas noches thank you thank you so much holy cow I'm like a little kid on Christmas right now this is incredible we'll play this together one day I promise promise love you bye all right we just got boarded the lovely flight attendant Charlotte brought me a welcome drink with some seltzer water and fresh berries in there just getting settled in I got my bags put away as soon as we take off I will give a full tour of this seat I'm so happy right now [Music] foreign [Music] we have taken off and reached our cruising altitude of 35 000 feet so let's have a proper look around this seat this seat is one of only two first classes in the world that has floor-to-ceiling privacy so I've just shut my curtains and it feels like I'm in my own room here first thing I notice is just how much room there is with the there are not one not two not three but four windows I think Emirates only has three I still love you Emirates the seat itself is super comfortable and right across from me there is a buddy dining seat if you're traveling with someone else when the seat is laid fully flat it is six and a half feet long which is much longer than industry standard on the Buddy seat over here they gave me some pajamas some slippers and a scarf that's a blanket why would they give me a scarf on a flight and underneath this seat there is a storage area where you can store shoes or anything else [Music] I think those are like three sizes too small with the slippers there were also socks and a shoehorn I'm assuming the shoehorn is not for the slippers there is a 24 inch touchscreen TV but since that's almost impossible to reach from the seat there is a remote where you can control it from here also in here there are Denon noise canceling headphones these are honestly super comfortable there's an outlet and a USB port and then the part which I'm most excited for the amenity kit but it might have to wait because I think I just saw Charlotte bringing out dinner I was gonna say I don't even know where the tray table is the seat's too big thank you the menu on Air France is designed by a three Michelin star Chef so to say I'm excited is an understatement I have a five course meal in front of me for my starter I have the famous langoustines Lobster with hearts of palm spaghetti and a sherry vinaigrette sauce for my soup it is a cream of beet with tortilla strips on top the meal came with a basket of fresh bread and this is warm and smells so delicious and you really know it's a fancy meal when they give you two types of butter that you can't read anything huh for my main I have gone for the braised beef short ribs with purple sweet potato mash asparagus and carrots two things I wanted Charlotte to surprise me on were the drink and the dessert for the drink she's made me a delicious sparkling water with fresh fruit okay I'm gonna dig it I have to start with the baguette with some butter we are on a French Airline might be the best butter I've ever had that beet soup is light creamy and super flavorful good food just makes me so happy I feel so incredibly fortunate and blessed to be here right now having this experience this is the best day of my life life this is one of those flights where the 11 hours is going to go by way too fast purple sweet potatoes are just loaded with butter and they're so good it was terrible couldn't finish any of it it is mind-blowing to me that food can be that good at 35 000 feet well done Air France before dessert I have gone with what is called a chocolate opera cake it's a beautiful chocolate cake layered with white milk and dark chocolate on the inside and it's topped with a chocolate Gold Leaf stunning presentation I've also ordered some chocolate ice cream and some hot mint tea don't film the poor tea [Music] just when I thought this night couldn't get any better that is phenomenal I normally don't like cake that cake is so moist and it's dense and the chocolate is so rich yes I'm in love right before I get ready for bed let's have a quick look at this amenity kit I like how it's Air France branded right on the front that's awesome there is an Air France pen eye mask truthfully couldn't tell you this is where the stuff gets expensive and I'm probably gonna mispronounce everything these products are all from Sicily which I assume is a really luxury nice brand some anti-aging daycare anti-aging hydration booster if that anti-aging cream wasn't enough third anti-aging thing I think everyone on this flight has wrinkles Galore skin infusion cream ear plugs I can't even make this up instant youth Black Rose cream mask I was not prepared for this there are four Anti-aging products in here maybe they're trying to tell me a message last but not least a wooden comb I always keep my amenity kits I think it's super fun to collect these I wonder if there's a male and female amenity kit and they accidentally gave me the female one foreign there is only one bathroom in La Premiere but there's only three of us passengers so it hasn't been an issue over here there's more Anti-aging products some restorative body cream and some makeup remover of some towels stocked here down here there are dental kits and refreshing wet towels here are the pajamas now that I'm about 10 pounds heavier after dinner let's get changed into these these are not the most stylish pajamas in the world and they're kind of a crop top on me but they are super comfortable like so so soft these are their XL got my top pants I've got my top pants on got my tight pants you got my tight pants off while I was in the bathroom I came back to my bed fully made up but this is no ordinary bed like I said earlier this bed is six and a half feet long there is a memory foam mattress on top fluffy duvet Egyptian cotton sheets and pillows from the luxury hotel Sofitel So I think this is going to be a comfortable sleep also while I was gone Charlotte wrote me a note brought me chocolates and another water so sweet [Music] foreign [Music] towel and the cucumber water I can definitely say that is the best night of sleep I've ever had on them there was one point when the flight got really turbulent and the flight attendants were rushing through the cabin telling everyone to fasten their seat belts but other than that it was a very peaceful comfort thank you [Music] let's give it a try I guess hope she feels pretty nice this still makes me laugh so hard as much as I'd like to stay in these crop top pajamas all day I think it's time to change back into my clothes [Music] thank you [Music] I ended up sleeping a little bit longer than I planned on we actually land in about 40 minutes so I'm really sad about that I woke up with a beautiful view out the window of the south of France my body thinks it's 5 a.m but it's 1 p.m in Paris so naturally it's breakfast time once again I have a feast in front of me I have a beautiful French omelet with Swiss cheese and turkey fruit plate with kiwis strawberries pineapple some fresh bread hot tea and fresh orange juice friends are known for their cheese and this does not disappoint I seriously could do another 11 hours on this flight it's going by way too fast please one last look at this beautiful cabin before I have to leave I have to remember don't cry because it's over but smile because it happened flight attendants just informed me there was a personal escort that will take me over to the LA Premiere Lounge so let's head over there and I'll explain how I booked this that was amazing have a nice day Hi how are you good even has my name on it everyone else is going that way but we are going this way wow that is the plane we just came up oh my gosh we have a personal car they did not tell me that we have a BMW to transport us to the lounge I love this it's my first time in LA Premiere I'm not used to this much luxury it's nice [Laughter] wow wow wow I'm at a loss for words this might be the most luxurious place I've ever been when we first arrived in the car I went to open my own door and a gentleman from inside the lounge came and gave me one of these it's almost as if he was so confused why I would open my own door then we had our own private security we came through and I just entered into this Lounge it's remarkable I'm currently in this area they call the theater because of this massive television screen over here so the way the food in this Lounge works is its on-demand dining so you can sit anywhere in the lounge and order anything at any time you want in 30 minutes I have a complimentary jet lag Rejuvenation spa treatment so before I head over there as promised here's how I booked this flight I kid you not there are 12 different Waters to choose from over there I got stressed out and didn't know which one to choose so I went with boss from Norway okay the reason this is considered the most exclusive flight in the world is because of how hard it is to book especially for travel hackers like myself only Flying Blue Elite and above members can even book La Premiere with points and in order to get to that status you have to fly Air France quite a bit once you reach that status it still costs 220 000 points to book this flight which in the miles and points world is incredibly steep so your options are pay the full ten thousand dollars get to the high status and pay a crazy amount of points or there is a third option which is what I did it is however the riskiest option so I booked a business class flight from Mexico City to Frankfurt for 65 000 Points Plus about 250 dollars in taxes and fees if there are any open La Premiere seats they will be available for upgrade 30 hours before your flight so I booked this specific flight because all four seats in La Premier are still available 30 hours before I went in to check in and they gave me the option to upgrade to La premiere for twelve hundred dollars so in total I paid about fourteen hundred dollars for this seat still not cheap but much better than paying ten thousand dollars points can be transferred from American Express Chase or Marriott over into your flying blue account which you can then use to Book Air France flights I apologize if that was long and boring but I want to share everything I've learned to enable other people to have experiences like this as well I just learned that if you want to buy a day pass into this Lounge it costs 650 Euros I have a goal while traveling so I don't get out of shape just to work out six days a week normally it's no problem when I'm staying in a hotel but when I'm only in airports it's a little bit tougher all the workers here probably think I'm so weird foreign [Music] each of these bathrooms has towels a robe and slippers and all sorts of amenities over here a shaving kit body cream cleansing milk whatever that is all right let's have a shower [Music] much better time for my jet lag recovery treatment foreign treatment asked me what my daily skin care routine was she was both disappointed and shocked that I didn't have a specific daily routine for the area around my eyes but I just had my first ever facial and that felt surprisingly amazing [Music] it is time to try out the famous La Premiere Lounge food I've heard such good things about the food here I'm excited to try this at first I was brought some fresh warm bread and butter and for my appetizer I have a Caesar salad with shrimp fantastic messy these shrimp are huge and so juicy to make the most of this experience I have ordered two entrees the first is seared scallops with potatoes carrots onions smothered in a delicious beef sauce the second one I couldn't resist because it has truffles on it I saw the word truffle and I said yes it's a toasted chicken sandwich with Swiss cheese black truffle and some lettuce on the side that's good but I have a feeling I'm going to love these scallops um oh my goodness that is the most delicious scallop I've ever had I could eat this for every meal there's a guest book here that I definitely need to sign my host took my passport and boarding pass and went and cleared customs and security for me she just brought it back to me when I board my next flight I don't have to do anything this is the next level whoa this bathroom has a chandelier in it one other quick travel hack I wanted to share the same flight I was on from Mexico City to Paris was about 200 000 points on business class but I booked it from Mexico City to Frankfurt and it ended up being 65 000 points with the seven hour layover in Paris so I could enjoy this La Premiere Lounge I don't know why Airlines do that but I always check surrounding airports when I'm booking flights because sometimes they have deals like that they're so much cheaper if you just fly to a different Airport
