and there were all stuff coming around why i can't be baptized and it was hard so i stopped asking for baptized somebody came to me and he asked me do you want to be baptized and i said yes of course i was really happy because i waited so long time before i get baptized just the people around you it you're feeling safe you feel the love of jesus you feel the love of god it's amazing so my experience of this camp has been one of the best experiences this whole summer i met a lot of new friends over all over europe been baptized and been to many activities like combat archery drumming and it's been very fun i decided to get baptized at this campari so i could give my life to jesus in front of all of these teens and i could make the pathfinder is my new family so it felt amazing when i got out of the water and everyone was like cheering on me and clapping and being happy for me too it just felt amazing to see that people actually accepted me in the family of pathfinders [Applause] these cameramen are awesome even this whole campsite [Music] [Music] dear pathfinders thank you for a really really fantastic camp i hope you have enjoyed the whole camp i hope you have enjoyed the fellowship meeting new friends old friends meeting jesus and i do hope that we're going to see each other again in latvia for the next trans-european division cambrie see you there to the world pathfinder day 2020 welcome to this 70th year celebration of the part for the moment around this world my name is pastor dana stokovic and i currently serve in the british union conference as a pathfinder new director and it is my pleasure first of all to welcome you to our beautiful division trans-european division and also to our union we bring greetings from all around british union i bring you greetings from palestine nj and toco from scotland from pastor david from wales from past equesa from north england conference from pasta cliff from starting conference and from our irish mission we have a greetings from bogdan and his wife roxanna who are leading there my friends today is a day of celebration today is a day of remembrance and today is a day of commitment despite we're meeting in a very different world today we want this day to be the life-changing day in your lives so as you celebrate this beautiful day here in this british union hosted world path on a day we want you to give your life to jesus christ and remember that we are reconciled through his grace and his sacrifice by finders welcome to the world part of the day this ceremony pathfinders hello pathfinders hello pathfinders hello pathfinders and happy world pathfinder day it is such a blessing to see how this movement that began 70 years ago continues to grow and bring others to jesus this world pathfinder day as we seek to reconcile with our heavenly father and be led by the holy spirit we pray that you will have an encounter with jesus like never before may god bless you and strengthen you as you continue to be pure and true hello pathfinders i'm pastor gary blanchard world youth director for the seventh-day adventist church and what an honor to be with you in this giant stadium this is so awesome i can't believe it's the 70th anniversary of pathfinders turn to the person next to you and say congratulations can you do that right now awesome hey listen i want to tell you right now i'm so proud of the british union for making this happen we are right now here in their area broadcasting to all of you and speaking to all of you in this auditorium i just want to say have a happy pathfinder sabbath and congratulations pathfinders for 70 years god bless you [Music] as this is the world par fun day many divisions send us their reports to share the beautiful story of the pathfinder movement from all around the world so my friends it's time for one of those stay tuned the international pathfinder camporee is one of the mightiest adventist youth events in the world it's where honors are earned pins are traded friendships are formed faith is shaped and lasting memories made but how did it all begin the story starts back in 1984 with a bold idea to bring pathfinders together from all over north america for one big camporee but what place could hold so many people and was there enough time enough money enough volunteers to make it happen god made a way providing for every need and on july 31st 1985 over 14 000 pathfinders attended the first ever north american division campari in camp hale colorado bmx biking rock climbing and archery were just a few of the many activities offered a circus bear even made an appearance to entertain the campers despite the initial success four years later in 1989 there was no money and no sponsorship for another camporee but god provided again this time through the columbia union conference who generously hosted more than thirteen thousand pathfinders at the friendship campari in mount union pennsylvania over 509 clubs enjoyed trading pins navigating the obstacle course and watching an amazing laser show and that was almost the end of the story as no division union or conference was willing to sponsor another campaign but god gave an even bigger vision to the rocky mountain pathfinder leaders an international campari bringing together pathfinders from all over the world but just months before the 1994 campari the hosting property owner backed out after earnest prayer god supplied a new location at the bandemeer speedway a drag racing track the camporee saved again over 12 thousand campers from 23 different countries attended dare to care the campers enjoyed a wide range of daily activities and then came together each evening to praise and worship god at red rock's amphitheater in 1999 the second international campari found a home in oshkosh wisconsin 21 000 pathfinders from 53 countries came to discover the power only a few days in a severe storm hit oshkosh the campers prepared for the worst but were amazed to see the storm split in two and pass safely around the campground on either side [Music] though the 2004 international campari was themed faith on fire it was nicknamed the winter camperee because oshkosh had record low temperatures that week though the campers were cold their faith was set on fire by the story of joseph 31 000 attended from 65 countries and over 300 were baptized in 2009 over 35 000 path finders from 71 countries watched the powerful story of esther unfold as she showed her courage to stand the camperee was filled with spiritual highlights from the 500 pathfinders who took their stand and were baptized to the giant cross in the western sky on the final night the campari closed with a bang in an amazing fireworks display in 2014 over 50 000 pathfinders from 80 countries came to oshkosh for forever faithful the biggest adventist youth event in history campers participated in unique daily activities like blacksmithing and wakeboarding each evening they enjoyed the antics of ryan and chico and were inspired by the amazing story of daniel during the week over 600 pathfinders were baptized [Music] on the last night dangerous waves of thunderstorms threatened to cancel the evening program as the campers in the outdoor arena waited and prayed the first part of the storm narrowly missed the campground and the program went on ending with the dramatic finale in the lions den and a spectacular fireworks show the 2019 chosen international pathfinder campari reached new heights with wide-ranging activities honors parades service projects and inspirational evening programs featuring the story of david attendants reached record numbers with over 55 000 pathfinders attending from 105 countries two guinness world records were set during the campari the world's largest scarf and slide weighed in at over 800 pounds and a previous record was broken when 13 310 people came together to form the largest ever human cross but the biggest highlight was the one thousand three hundred twenty youth and adults who were baptized at the campari and the thousands more who returned home to prepare for baptism on the final night of the campari the pathfinders gathered for a spectacular finale concluding with the reveal of the theme for the 2024 campari [Applause] from low attendance to high from national to international after four decades eight camperes and 235 000 pathfinders we look to the future god is with us he has led is leading and will continue to lead us see you at the next campari youth to have holistic small groups public evangelism and bible studies around the world we can see just how many are serving others both youth and adults are working together to be the hands and feet of jesus worldwide we have more than a hundred thousand a y societies with almost four million in membership [Music] [Music] half a million ambassadors almost 2 million part finders in 60 000 clubs there are 48 000 adventurer clubs with adventurer membership totaling 1.5 [Music] million [Music] each new initiative and course ignites an everlasting fire in our young people's hearts that they can share with others not just through words but through actions projects and impactful movements they are eager they are bold they are adventist youth and now it's time for the special item [Music] a great way of his father saw him and had compassion and ran and fell on his neck and kissed [Music] him hello british union i'm so excited to be with you today look at you so many of you are watching at this moment and i also want to greet all the world a lot of people are watching at this moment through facebook and youtube and all the channels around the world i'm so excited to be with you on the 70th anniversary of pathfinder can you can you see that can you hear that seven years of blessing 70 years of pathfinder 70 years of serving the community 70 years of pathfinder this is the best of the best so i am so happy to spend with you sometimes uh at this moment and speak god's words and bring hope to you and to the whole world so today i have a story that i really love i even wrote a book about it a bible story for pathfinders and is based on luke 15 luke 15 verses from 11 and on so i want you to get your bibles whenever you are your ipod your phone you see i got my phone here's where i have my bible and you know for all of you that are looking on this side and those of you that are here in this side and those of you that are up here and up there and maybe back here all of you grab your bible and let's read a story that will touch your life but before we do that i just want to say thank you to the british union because they have put this program together for you for the whole world i want to i want to thank um pastor zejan for his leadership and i always tell him you are one of the best union new directors in the world so congratulations and i want to thank you for the job that you always do on behalf of the um of the british union so god bless you don't don't give up and thank you for your friendship okay pathfinders and master guides and adventures at this moment let's read luke chapter 15 verse 11 and 12 and the bible says then he said a certain man had two sons and the younger of them listen to me said to his father father give me the portion of goods that falls to me so he divided them um you know and and and and to his liveshoot and he move on so listen to this this is a young man maybe he was from london i don't know maybe he was from mexico or maybe he was from israel or from australia so this young man tells his father you know give me my inheritance my what my inheritance give me my stuff give me whatever belongs to me father listen to this asking the father to give him his portion really it's stating that he wants his father to be dead i don't know what's the concept of fatherhood that you have in your life i've been in many places more than 110 countries around the world and one of the things that i find among the pathfinders is that some of them have had some issues and problems with their parents especially with the father and one of them told me once when i was preaching abroad and and i remember he's telling me pastor i really don't like the concept of god as a father because every time i i listened to the word father it really struggled my mind to my past and i remember when my father abandoned me abandoned my mother ambando us and i really hate my father how can i see god as my father and i said look this is this is the best part maybe your father mistreated you maybe your father abandoned you but there is a god who is your father that will never leave you nor forsake you and he is your grandfather so what you need to do is to be with him and spend time with him and and go under his wings and get his protection and his love he said pastor i'm going to try that i'm going to be closer to god and so on so listen this man or this young man he said i'm all enough please don't talk to me don't tell me what to do i'm gonna eject i'm gonna head out i don't wanna be home i'm bored here my brother hates me everybody hates me except my father but father i want to leave i want to go away i want to go far and this is the problem young people and pathfinders we cannot go away from god when we go away from god we lose our appetite we lose our flavor in life we lose our identity we lose our power we lose everything that he has given us because his blessings are connected to him so the far away you go the farthest way you go the most problematic your life will be so the young man didn't think about that so he said i'm going away i'm gonna i'm gonna spend my time in doing parties in london i'm gonna move to france or italy i'm gonna go to new york city i'm gonna go to israel i'm gonna go to some place i just wanna be far away from the father so at this moment i want to encourage you not to go far from the father i want to encourage you to be close with the father when you are with the father you have um identity when you have with the father you have um all you needs are met when you are close to the father you have his heavenly heavenly promises when you are with the father you have the holy spirit with you so don't go away from the father these young men say give me this is about me this is not about you god i want you or father to live like i'm dead how many of us sometimes act think like god is dead and we want him to be dead in our lives we want them to to to to be hidden from our lives but i want to tell you something it doesn't matter how far away pathfinder you run from god god will always be there for you i just want to remind you that and look what happened look what happened the bible says the bible says that um not many days after the younger son gather all together journey to a far country and and that wasted his possessions with projectile living this is the problem the problem with the prodigal son is not that he left the house the problem with the prodigal son is that he left the father i just want you to remember that he left the father british union don't leave your father your father loves you don't leave him behind he took everything and he left and he was living a wildlife he wanted to enjoy life he was looking for peace that he already had he was looking for possessions that he already had he was looking for something out there that the father was willing to give him and it was freedom and happiness he didn't know that when you go away from the father you become a slave of yourself or a slave of others so he went away my friends he went away and the bible says in luke 15 1720 that when he came to his senses he said how many of my father's higher servants have food to spare and and here i am starving to death listen to this he had everything he had the blessings but you know what when you go away from the father you start losing your blessing tell the person besides you don't lose your blessings in the middle of the pandemic don't lose your blessing in the middle of suffering don't lose your blessing in the middle of your pain don't lose your blessing in your in the middle of your prosperity don't lose your blessing you don't you don't lose your blessing when you are close to the father so this is the concept i want to leave you tonight or today at this moment this is the concert i want to leave to you at this moment is to stay close with the father but you know this this young man has spent everything and when he spent everything it doesn't mean that he only spent his possession but he lost his soul he sold he lost his strength he was he was dealing with pigs he was smelling like a pig he was almost acting like a pig but you know what he took a wrong decision but he was not a bad boy because he wanted to eat from the food of the pigs but he didn't he knew that his father was waiting for him and when he came on his senses which is a word that means like repentance or to turn around he was thinking like what am i doing here where are you at this moment what are your relationship with god at this moment is so far away are you dealing with pigs are you going to the internet and searching for things that are not healthy to your spiritual health are you playing every day and every day games that does not help you grow are you spending more time listening to some music that is unhealthy to you where are you at at this moment are you are far away from your father i want to encourage you to come to your senses and say my father is at home he is waiting for him and he start thinking and say i'm going back i cannot stay here i have sinned against heaven and and against you i'm going to tell my father i have seen i have made mistake i'm so sorry you know hire me just even as a servant you know because your servant is better than i at this moment and the bible says the bible says that he arose he stood up he started walking back home and he came to his father but when he was still a great way of his father saw him and had compassion and ran and fell off his neck and and kissed him and he said to the father father i have sinned against against your you god i'm so sorry he said to the father i'm so sorry so the father said to his servant bring out the best robe listen to this and put it put it on him and put a ring in on his um he and his sandal on his feet let's let's call let's kill our father um calf here and kill him let's kill it and have a party let's celebrate because the one that was lost now is found listen to this he the first thing that the father did his father sees him psalm 33 verse 18 says behold the eyes of the lord is on those who fear him and on those who hope in his mercy i don't know where you at at this moment i don't know if you are frustrated because um your parents got divorced i don't know if you're frustrated because you don't know your identity i don't know if you're frustrated because you have tried to change and you have not changed i don't know if you're frustrated because you don't have peace in your life and you go to church you was born in in the church you was born as an adventist you know this message but the message has not impacted your life i don't know if you see like if you say um pastor peralta nobody sees my depression nobody sees what's going on in my life nobody sees what's going on in my spiritual life nobody sees what's going on even in my home my father as my parents are fighting daily we don't have money we are broke we have lost the house we have lost everything but i want to tell you at this moment on the world pathfinder day i want to tell you that his father sees him the father the heavenly father is watching you he's looking at you he sees you when you add whether you are down or up whether you are blind or not whether you are bald or not whether you are working or not he sees you and when god sees you he always do something on your behalf when nobody soaked me he lift me up when nobody pay attention to me he he came to me no when no one no one listened to me he he he inclined and listened to my prayers so i just want to tell you pathfinders around the world and to the british union that his father god the father sees you he's looking at you at this morning he's looking at you this afternoon he's looking at you this evening he sees you and the second thing that gods do and that the father does his father moved by grace he had compassion you know he felt her inside of his stomach he felt like this is my son and in ephesians chapter 2 on verse 5 and 4 and 5 says but god who is rich in mercy because of his great love with which he loves us even when we were dead in trespasses made us alive together with christ by grace you have been saved so so this is what the father does he sees him his father was moved by mercy and number three his father ran remember the ceremony of um of embarrassment in order and for for this not to happen the father went out to meet his son listen to this let me put it this way it was an embarrassment for an adult with education money like his father to run in that culture to run was not ethical it was not um you know it was not part of those who respect themselves if you run you are you might show your legs and if you show your legs you have lost your respect and you are bringing shame to yourself so when the father runs the father really is is taking the shame of his son the sun smell bad the sun is walking so the father see do this the father start running he said because he has brought shame to the family and to the neighborhood i have run so i can take his shame and i don't want people to look at him i want people to look ahead and meet to look at me listen to this why the father run there is a a second thing that i want to share at this moment the father run because in the ancient time the village will have the power to storm to kill the boy because he was disrespectful to the father because because he misbehaved so it is an embarrassment so let's kill him why would we need him alive we don't need him alive so the father run to say to the people if you're going to kill him you're going to kill him above my body so the father run to take his shame and number two the father run so he can protect him i just want to tell you about finances around the world that god is running for you he doesn't want you to be dead he wants to run because he wants you to be alive and he wants you to he want to take the shame that you have in your heart let me tell you something jesus at the cross he died naked so he can cover you he take your shame so at this moment don't feel embarrassed of the things that you have done look touch smoke drank feel ashamed if you don't come to the father the most important thing is know what you do for god is what god do for you and through you so if you have felt him big god is looking at you he's running to get you he's running to protect you and you know he's moved because of his mercy he's running because of his mercy and you know what he fell on his neck he kissed him he he go before uh you know before the people mock him the father of him security and protection and he felt on his neck he he was touched the prodigal son have not been touched for a long time but the father touched him because he is valuable and the father started kissing him okay that's the fifth thing that i want to share with you he kissed him the kisses um seal his father forgiveness toward his son the first time you find the word kiss is when isaiah bless jacob and isa but when he blessed jacob he kiss him in other words i'm blessing you so when he kiss you he is giving you a blessing the prodigal son he he lost his blessing but the father kissed him to give his blessing back so the father kiss him god wants to give you a holy kiss to tell you that you are blessed that you are reconciled with him the second time you find the word kiss is when jacob you know and his brother is a they they have problems but one day they got an encounter and forgive each other they hug each other and they kiss they had a reconciliation reconciliation reconcile so the kiss means reconciliation so god wants to reconcile with you because you have been away you have been far away and he wants to kiss you and number six the bible says that the father said bring out the best rope and put it on him he didn't say you know you go dress yourself no no no no when this father changed his son clothing he was giving him back his authority over his servants and his incorporation into the family when the father dressed him he said take away his shame take away his low self-esteem take away his own identity dress him and the best robe in the village was the father's robe so the father was like dressing like me so he can look like me god wants to dress you he wants to give you identity to all of you to all of you he wants to give you identity whatever you have lost he is willing to give it back to you so tell at this moment god dress me right there at this moment on facebook write it down god dress me just clothe me with your power close me with your sanctity close me with your garments close me clothe me with hope clothe me with your power just dress me because i'm naked dress me because i'm ashamed dress me because i'm hurt dress me because no one can give me what you can give me and my family last but not least put a ring on his hand this is some this type of concept we can say some affirmed that this ring is the family seal to sign and guarantee important documents listen the ancient they will use uh um the ring to sealed you know to give the property to give um authority like joseph he got a ring and he used the ring he was he had the authority to be besides the king of egypt the ring symbol authority and and bring a fatted calf hearing killing and let's eat and be marrying so god wants to do a party today he's doing a great party he's celebrating with us the world pot fight that day he wants to reconcile with this world with the british union with the whole world and with 70 years of pathfinder i just want to say your father is calling you he's waiting for you he sees you he grunts for you he he kiss you he he dress you he give you the ring and he is doing a big party god said let's party because the pathfinder that was dead now he is alive so at this moment i just want to make an appeal to each one of you i just want to recommend never separate yourself from the father enjoy the opportunities that you have in life to befriend the father while there is life you can arise and make peace with the father arise this very day and go to his presence do you want to accept him as your personal savior do you want to be reconciled with the father now is the time if you want to reconcile with the father at this animations templates and powerpoints each class level has been created specifically for the age group it is assigned to we have been intentional about making sure our kids will grow spiritually emotionally intellectually and physically for the glory and honor of our god we know that now more than ever virtual resources are needed to further assist and train our adventure leaders to provide even more accessible help we will be releasing training videos for each adventure class and a few tips and tricks this curriculum has been created with our adventures and their leaders in mind by
