these women gave birth in unusual places 2015 this mom gave birth in the front seat of her car when her husband couldn't make it to the hospital in time I can't believe he was born right here Alicia Pettyjohn and her husband Jonathan thought they were in good shape for the hour-long Drive things changed on us very quickly so I got out my GoPro which she had asked me to record the birth with previously and just sat next to my leg because I thought well there's a possibility we might not make it Alicia's contractions got intense and so did her screams [Applause] since neither of them had a cell phone Jonathan decided to keep driving sure enough bro [Music] her water broke and it just progressed super quickly after that next contraction his head was right there I was like we're gonna have this baby in the car then Josiah Pettyjohn came into the world he weighed 10 pounds three ounces I just was in shock you could kind of telling my face wow did that really happen I knew whenever he came out that everything was great his color was great he was breathing fine we didn't think it would get near the attention it has gotten I think next time we'll probably definitely go sooner 2022 an Atlanta police Lieutenant arrived at a very active scene a woman was giving birth in her car at a gas station advisors when they saw the couple's car speeding he offered an escort to clear their way to the delivery room but when the parents-to-be realized they weren't going to make it in time they pulled off the road the officers followed to offer assistance and shortly after getting there you got it okay babies out babies out okay okay um he's a baby boy congratulations the other officers joined him to help they tied off the umbilical cord and checked the vitals of the healthy baby [Music] yeah in 2022 Hospital staff helped a woman in labor out of an SUV and into a wheelchair the security guard was at her side every step of the way as he got her to the elevator a few seconds later the elevator door opened and out came mom and her baby girl I did a big scream and then I told him I was like my baby's gonna come out I need a push as soon as I knew the baby was born it's like okay uh what do I do now oh of course you know you know a lot of stuff is going through your mind and it's like you're trying to think logical I mean what do I need to do I'm just glad that the baby came out good and he was there to help in 2018 there was no time to get checked into the Maternity Ward so this baby made his debut in the hospital hallway we got past the first set of double doors and then just made it just past the second and it is I could feel him moving down and I put my hand down and I could feel his head and I knew that there was no moving at that point Jess hired a photographer to capture Max's birth and fortunately they got the moment I just hope that this will inspire people to document their births so that they have memories of it I honestly just had this really crazy story to tell people before and now I have pictures to really remember every single moment of it I told you I didn't want to deliver a baby another baby oh pretty little girl in May of 2023 this cop didn't think delivering babies would be part of his normal routine but the Hillsboro Sheriff's Department in Florida says Deputy Daniel Jones was in the right place when a nervous dad informed him that his wife was about to give birth in their car on a highway is this your first baby no how many this is six six y'all need a better hobby okay they all had quite a sense of humor about the situation I know I know don't push don't push don't push don't push but things got serious when this experienced mom knew that this baby wasn't going away any longer and before they knew it there we go don't pull don't pull back there you go mama I told you I didn't want to deliver a baby another baby oh pretty little girl a healthy baby girl was delivered and even though she didn't sound excited everyone else around her was oh yeah that's a beautiful sound for Inside Edition digital I'm Andreas Wendel
