here's the walkthrough of our 2021 Winnebago Travato 59k we'll start here coming through the sliding door into the kitchen area and up here on the countertop we have the two burner cooktop it is propane and it has all the directions for lighting here but it's pretty simple turn on a burner and then click the start button and you always want to make sure the lid is closed when not in use and then here on the counter we have a Keurig coffee maker and there's the pedestal that lifts up here with plugs and USB ports and here is the sink area with the cover and above the window here is a little extra basket for storage and below the counter here we have a microwave convection combo it does have a rack for when you're using convection that should never be in there using the microwave no metal when using microwave setting and next to that is the refrigerator there is a safety latch you have to open that keeps it closed while in transit this refrigerator actually holds a lot more than you think it does it's fairly spacious and back in here is a dial to set the temperature for the refrigerator and it also has a little freezer space that actually keeps things pretty Frozen above the refrigerator we have a little utensil drawer and it has most everything you need for cooking below the microwave we have two drawers one has cutting boards hot pads utensils and in this one you have cooking pans a drain board for washing dishes dish towel dish cloths above the kitchen you have storage for plates bowls coffee cups regular cups salt and pepper and down next to the microwave is where we keep the trash can and this little cabinet in the floor is lockable right now we just keep cleaning supplies in there gloves the retractable broom holding tank treatments level and behind the passenger seat we keep leveling blocks and I will put a link for instructions on how to properly level a van here is another Tower with plugs and USB most of the window shades you just pull down on and they're accordion the windows slide open always make sure they're latched closed before taking off and then once they're closed the shades just slide right back up into place above the sliding door of the van is the control panels the power control system just basically shows you if you're plugged into service and how many amps you're drawing at the time next to that is one place you can turn on your water pump on this control panel you can also view your tank levels your battery levels and start and stop the generator as well as see the meter so how many hours you have used on the generator and next to that is the control system for the heater and the hot water tank push the center button to see the icons and whichever icon is blinking that is what you're controlling set the heater to whatever temperature you want or to off and then press the center big button again to set the hot water tank make sure the icon is blinking and set it to whichever setting you prefer the water will take about 15 minutes to get warm off and then press the center big button again the next setting is to set whether you want full electric or full gas or a mixture of both in regards to your heater and hot water tank so for example if you're hooked up to shore power you would want to put it on all electrics so you're not wasting your propane press the back button to get out of the screen the next button is the inverter control button you would only turn this on if you're running on solar and you want to use a 110 outlet don't turn the inverter on unless you want to use a 110 outlet it will quickly drain your batteries next to that is how you turn your propane on and off and then the last button is to turn on the holding tank heater if you're in cold weather next to the control panel are two light switches the light switch closest to the interior of the coach turns on and off the front to ceiling lights these switch closest to the outside of the van turns on this strip light above the door now this group of controls down here by the fire extinguisher the bottom set of controls Works your awning this switch turns the lights on underneath the awning and these two switches are how you run the awning the first switch you have to put into the on position in order to hit the second switch which will let you retract or extend the awning always turn the first button into the off position when not retracting or extending the awning this switch here on the top should always remain on you should always see a little green light knowing it's on if this is set in the off position your house batteries will not charge very important to keep this on the next switch is to turn on your running board lights on the outside of the van moving into the van you have this multi-position table and as you can see it swings and turns into many different positions so you can use it for many different functions within the van you can even raise or lower the height of it here and you can also move it over here behind the passenger seat to use when the seats turned around moving to the TV this is the remote for the television and if you want to try to see if you have channels without cable push the menu button scroll down to channel signal type should be set to Air and then go down to Auto tuning click over to yes and the scan will begin you're looking for digital channels if you don't get any digital channels then you probably won't get any TV without hooking the cable if you have an external device to connect to the TV using the HDMI ports click input and then click the port that you are connected to there's also a remote for the sound bar and both remotes are in the cupboard up above the television this is also where you plug into the HDMI ports you can put the TV in many different positions there's a little handle back behind the TV you pull down on to release the lock and from there you can pull the TV outward and you can move it left or right always make sure the TV is in the locked position before moving the band there is a ceiling fan in the kitchen area and there are a few controls on this hit this button it'll just automatically open and turn on or you can open and close it manually with this dial and hit the up and down for the fan speed with this button you hold it down and it'll actually automatically turn on when it gets to 76 degrees moving into the coach in the living bedroom area you can see there's plenty of storage compartments above each bench this one above the sink is great for Pantry area and then you can move down above the benches and you have plenty of storage for clothing on the other side is where I showed you where the remotes go for the television the next one you can see is plenty of space and this also has the control panel for solar and there isn't much you need to know or do with this control panel above the bench is this little storage compartment that you just pull down on there's one on the other side as well back in the corner on each side is a light press it once and it's blue hold it down and it's white press it again and it turns it off there's also USB ports the light switch here the one closest to you will turn those front two lights on and off above the kitchen and the one furthest from you will turn the two lights here in the bedroom area on and off this is the air conditioner here on the ceiling in the bedroom area these two side fins have filters in them that can be washed and put back in once dry these little round fins are directional with the control panel press the long button one time we'll turn the fan on low twice we'll turn the fan on high third press will turn the air on high fourth press will turn the air with the fan on low fifth will turn the air on with the fan on auto which means the fan will turn off when the air conditioner comes to Temp that you have set the up and down buttons are how you set the temperature higher or cooler there are two smoke detectors one in the kitchen area and one by the bathroom door and whenever you are using the cooktop or the convection oven I suggest turning the ceiling fan on or you are going to set off the smoke detector each of these benches can be made into a twin bed and these benches lift up with storage underneath this is where you will find your bed linens and a compressor for the tires under the cushion on the other bench you can lift up and you'll find the rack that slides out that makes this entire bench into a king bed the slides out and locks into the other side of the bench these little hooks clip into the holes and holds it into place make sure each one of these are in place so that it doesn't break when you put your weight on it and a tip if you're putting this together by yourself get the interior one done on this side and then go out the back door and in to get the other side I come in through the bathroom and clip the other side into place and again make sure that each of the clips all the way down are in place then I come back into the coach and Slide the cushion from the bench over and put the little cushions by the window and that will make this into one king size bed this is also where you'll find the two additional seat belts all the windows run the same as the one I showed you on the van door except these two back little windows this one you push down on the accordion screen like the others but these windows open outward on hydraulic arms once the windows open you can pull down the screen to close the hydraulic window push outward first and then pull it in and then make sure each of the clips are in between the little holder so that it's locked in tight coming into the wet bath area there are two sliding doors that close off the bathroom and they are each latched with a snap unsnap and slide this door inward unsnap the other side and Slide the other door Inward and this will totally close off the bathroom for privacy when you open the doors make it a habit to always snap these back in place so that nothing gets broken when the van's moving the back windows have these covers on them for privacy they can also be zipped open if you want to let in some natural light the back door also has the screen that can come down and be zipped closed here's your closet area it has adjustable shelves as well as a bar for hanging clothes down in this drawer is where I keep all the towels and washcloths above the toilet is the medicine cabinet plenty of room for all your toiletries I also keep hand soap and Q-tips stocked in there here is the shower nozzle always make sure this is clipped in here and the shower head is standing upright so it doesn't fall while you're moving the van this also has a button you can turn the water on and off while you're showering without having to set the hot and cold it just helps conserve water while showering this is the light for the bathroom next to that is the second place where you can turn your water pump on here is the sink pull down and then you have your faucet in there that you can pull outward and turn your water on this is a gravity flush toilet and the lever to flush is right down underneath here that you use your foot to push down on to flush the toilet after you flush always make sure there's a little bit of water covering that hole so that smells don't come up through and this little nozzle Works once you have your foot on the pedal to flush the toilet this will work to help wash down anything that's left behind this is a wet bath so when you shower make sure this little lever is closed over the toilet paper so you don't soak it when you're showering here's the shower curtain and this is just magnetized to hold it together and out of the way when you're not using it when you shower make sure the shower curtain is closed all the way around especially in front of the closet area so that you make sure not to get things in the closet wet there's a vent in the ceiling of the bathroom and this works by pushing up on this lever will open the vent and then pressing the button will start the fan turn the fan off pull the lever down to close it walking back towards the cockpit of the van you can see the storage above the driver's seat this is where we keep the outdoor mat the bags for the window shades and the dustpan for the broom a few things about the cockpit you always have to make sure that the big sliding door is closed tightly it will not go anywhere do anything if it's not the second thing to note is the cruise control it was a little weird for me to figure out you push the lever forward to turn the cruise control on and then twist the dial forward to set it and then over here if you've let your house batteries drain you can turn this button on and it'll help build them up a little bit another important thing to note when you put the transmission into drive make sure the controller is all the way to the right and not to the left if it's all the way over to the left you will have to shift gears manually this button next to your hazard light is to lock and unlock all the doors in the van and this USB port back in here if you plug your phone into this USB port it'll run the carplay adjusting your seats on the front corner of each seat you pull outward on one side and you can twist the chair around if you pull out on the other side it allows the back of your seat to go forward in that there is some extra counter space when your seats turn that you can pull out here you unsnap it pull it out flip it up and over and let it rest on that little lip that's up next to the counter and that gives you extra work space here and then when it's put back always make sure to re-snap it back into place when putting in your window shades get your front ones in and then put the visors down so it holds them into place and then each of them are a little magnetic so that they can stick together the rear view mirror is actually a rear camera so you can see what's going on behind you while you're driving this is not the backup camera underneath the bench here by the bathroom you have your fuse panel below that are your Breakers and next to that is the propane monitor this would detect leaks and that is a quick overview of the inside of our Travato 59k thank you so much for renting our van and we hope you enjoy your adventures
