[Music] in today's video I'm going to talk about Windows S Mode how you can turn it on and how you can switch out from this Windows S Mode maybe your device in S Mode and you want to switch out then this video is for you what is S Mode so basically if you are using Windows S Mode then your system is more secure give you more smoother experience while using Windows so what happens in this like you can't install any third party apps like Photoshop iTune or Google Chrome or steam because Microsoft restricted that why because of some security reasons like you don't know how to use Windows or how to use laptop PCS then this S Mode is very very helpful for you because whenever you're are going to do something unwanted thing which you don't know this is going to prevent you and give you some popup like don't do this so basically this is designed for them and uh preventing your system from malwares and viruses so whenever your system is in S Mode so your system will be run very smoothly no high Ram uses so basically in S Mode you can only download apps from Microsoft Store app so these are the verified apps from Microsoft so by this way your system will be secure you can't install any third party apps no malware or viruses will inject in your system you cannot use any system application like CMD Power Cell you want to modify something you can't do that so this is how it works in this video I'm going to show you both things like how you can turn on S Mode how you can turn it off so first thing we are going to see how we can turn it on so first thing just go and open registry run as administrator go into hqy local machine after that going to system after that control set 01 controls and just copy paste the command I put in description and you will directly navigate to this going to policy here you need to modify this key and set it to one after that just restart your system and go to about section and you can see Windows 10 Pro in S Mode so after turning on let's open this chrome software you can can see for security and performance this mode for Windows only runs Microsoft verified apps so you can't open any third party apps it will redirect you to Microsoft store and the basic things you can modify like all settings you can modify from system itself and the best thing I got here like I already enabled this Windows copilot in my S Mode So currently I'm using Windows copilot in my S Mode and in this you will get Microsoft H for Save browsing okay so maybe you are looking for how to switch out from it so just go into Microsoft store they already provide this app to switch out from here so type here switch out of s mode and just click on this first one after that you can see switch out of S Mode just click on get it will switch out your windows from S Mode and after switching out now you are free to install any third party apps like games PC softwares you are all set and just close it and after that let's open my Google Chrome now you can see it is opening you can open registry as well and after that you can open CMD you can just go into about section you can see Windows 10 Pro we have switched out from S Mode I hope you understand what is S Mode how to turn it on and turn it off
