hey this is the ranch Ferry and this is a very quick short video on Fletching glues kind of don't care which one you use I just use glue I buy the moderately priced stuff some of you guys have applicator pins because the veins you should have some material that requires whatever okay this is about the glue I don't do the applicator pen this thing is stupid as you can tell my sarcasm it gets old you should date your glue every time I had I was just flushing some arrows because we're going to do a big experiment with the Barnett and a bunch of buddies uh here in a week and some guys are going to come blast my turkeys and oh it's probably been nine months and I looked at the date and it had been over that I thought it had been about nine months and I had stored my glue in the fridge which is a tip but still if you crack the glue open and use it it starts deteriorating Big Mike told me this a long time ago and I thought he was crazy but he's not he's right so what was happening was I would glue down the Fletching in my jig and the note the fronts would pop up the backs would pop up it just misbehaved and you know three of the four would stick but one would kind of be weird and I went ah but it's old and I checked the date I've written on the back of it this is a new one but it was 10 months old I went over to my workbench here where all my stuff is and pull the new bottle out and Shazam the Fletching started sticking to the arrows it's crazy but Luke is old and it doesn't not work it works about 75 of the time and then you think that your applicator pin is not working [Laughter] or whatever when the glue just lost some of its stickiness and it's just because of age so that's quick tip from the fairy you can subscribe if you want to there'll be more content we're getting ready to go on a big shoot and whack some pigs and stuff so be more interesting stuff than the quicks and tips and tricks but this is one tip I highly recommend some of you people look how old your glue is take one bottle throw in the trash go pay yourself six or seven dollars for a brand new bottle of glue and it'll work and I don't have a particular brand because I haven't had any problems except for you guys that have the cool Fletch with the applicator pen and I don't know anything about that because I'm gonna do that bye
