Why The Roblox Innovation Awards Make NO SENSE...

Roblox is doing another one of their annual Roblox Innovation Awards ceremonies and that's with everything Roblox has tried to do recently this too has some glaring issues and today we'll be figuring out why this award show makes zero sense exhibit a the biggest problems with the Innovation Awards there's already been many videos covering the amount of drama and problems this event has started starting with the actual prediction system of this year's Innovation Awards basically there are specific categories that you can vote on these categories include best Obby shooter horror fashion action RPG Etc and each of these categories will give you points if you predict which game wins out of four games and now you might be thinking what do these points actually give you well nothing but ugc items that Roblox probably put together in less than a few hours but I think Roblox is actually picking the winners since there is category specifically for Player's Choice but Roblox is not out of Dodge yet another one of the biggest issues currently are the actual categories and some of the game selections that Roblox decided to do for this event starting with the worst category possible strategy games you may be thinking what were the choices well anime Defenders a Dusty trip Power Defense simulator and the strongest Battlegrounds yes the strongest Battlegrounds a literal fighting game not sure what level of strategy you need to play a Battlegrounds game but obviously Roblox picked TSB because it stands as one of the most popular games on the platform currently fundamentally the game is just a fighting game and not anywhere near a strategy game then you had a Dusty trip which is also not a strategy game but I can see why Roblox might have put it here despite it not being nominated for the correct category category in the game you basically have to manage your health in the gas tank of your car in order to get progressing in this game which requires a little bit of thinking but this still doesn't make it a strategy game one bit two Tower Defense games also kind of don't make any sense here either but they definitely deserve to be nominated since the Tower Defense Dr is a strategy genre although I'll argue that Tower Defense games on Roblox barely require much strategy because all you have to do in most Tower Defense games is just pull a rare unit and then Yi be you're out here wiping the entire map with overpowered AOE attacks but we all know why animated Defenders made it here ultimately because the game is one of the highest earning games right now with the whole alt Scandal the game has been pulling off since its release since people just go in the game with multiple alts to farm the gym currency for gacha gambling in the game which should be realistically against to but knowing Roblox it probably isn't I think out of all the games in this category Tower Defense simulator realistically should have won but I think out of all these games it is the least popular despite being one of the best Tower Defense games on the platform I'm just happy they didn't put toilet Tower Defense anywhere near the category but guess who actually did end up winning the category it was of course the strongest Battleground but this is where the drama starts for the TSB Community exhibit B the ricking of votes causes drama but essentially the reason why they were able to win this is not only because TSB is one of the most popular games outright now but in their Discord there was an announcement that was posted they would essentially be releasing KJ a limited character if they were to win every category that they were nominated for and they would make him be released for everyone longer and this is swaying the votes in their way since of course the community will want this Limited Time character now you may be asking what is so special about this KJ character in the strongest Battlegrounds lore well basically KJ is a move set that was released by The developers that was extremely overpowered but the catch was was that the only the devs or admins of tsp could play as said character or you had to be a top donator for a certain amount of time and this is no easy feat since the top donators usually spent millions of Robux which the common folk of TSB usually can't afford also just an extra note is that KJ itself won't even be getting into the players hands until the Voting is over for the last category which is best fighting game and who are they facing in this category well no other than the biggest game on the platform blocks fruits which isn't even a fighting game it's an MMR RPG but that's besides the point the problem with this is not only is it going to just cause the tsp Community to go into a frenzy if they don't win every single category meanwhile please hey yo what the and this could cause other deaths to receive death threats or whatever else comes with having such a massive Community filled with toxic individuals not winning and getting to use KJ longer another reason is because KJ if not Nerf will literally make TSB unplayable in public servers because the character is extremely overpowered itself on the other hand if they Nerf KJ why would anyone want to actually use him not to mention KJ himself isn't even finished yet as confirmed by the developers so either way TSB fans will be upset no matter what happens here to be honest also apparently KJ is inspired by this fire stickman animation called KJ's Last Ride which I thought was a pretty cool fun fact Dev shouldn't be allowed to swing the votes because of the simple fact that not every game that's nominated is going to have a huge community of people to support them in this case another category that was really ruined was action SL RPG starting with the games that were nominated blocks fruits yeah you can already see where this is going deep woken dungeon quest in World zero I'm going just give you guys a few seconds is to guess who won out of these games yep you guessed it block that's not fair deep Walken obviously is the best game out of all of these but it stood zero chance of winning the predictions due to the game literally just not being popular enough and simply not catering to the mass majority although deepwoken versus blockroots is like comparing eldering to Diddy Simulator the message the blockroots dev sent out to rig the votes goes as follows vat block shots for the best action RPG or best fighting they will post a new sneak for the new update now if you aren't aware the black streets Community has been voicing their complaints about the new update for a while now since it does have little to no communication with the community for such long periods of time this is just wrong on so many levels to starve your community of leaks but when the Innovation Awards come around then you basically want to bribe that already starving player base in order to win an award that you simply don't deserve over better games like deepwoken and hopefully Roblox will make the right choice and just give deepwoken the win anyway but now in a few days both blockroots and the strongest battle grounds will be competing for the best fighting game predictions both games have already bribed their players so now the war between TSB and blog suits is going to be insane and will probably cause Mass Mayhem which just shouldn't be happening on Roblox on a side note how the hell is Guts and Black Powder and PVE zombie gam set in Napoleonic times consider a fighting game again this shows how lost the people who designed this event truly are even though horror game Community was going wild too when dors won over piggy Exhibit C the player choice disaster incident The Innovation awards does have a few other categories that you will actually be able to pick the winner of this includes People's Choice best ugc which no one cares about best video star Creator I got absolutely snub for this category by the way and best branded experience AKA The Experience met made Roblox the most money off of children engaging with them these winners will be awarded at the RDC live event which is the exclusive event for devs and content creators now let me just point your attention to the best new experience category do you see anything I don't know suspicious here I'll wait Souls RNG somehow made it here yes the game where you spend for random auras and nothing else in the game that set Roblox back half a decade the game that people actually don't engage with or play at all and they just sit AFK yes that Souls RNG the fact that Roblox put this game here really does describe the sheer and utter catastrophe that is modern Roblox this whole category is pretty garbage considering that the game that can bait Their audience the most first will win I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Souls did end up winning here because they've already put out a Discord message bribing the 10-year-olds that play this game 24/7 oh wait I forgot they don't actually play the game they leave their PC on to explode while afking my bad so even the solos RNG devs are swaying the votes for game of the year I think the prediction stuff was okay because Roblox would still be picking the winners but for best new experience is insane because it's the people who will be picking which games get the block it's just an absolute shame that actual wellmade games that actually had some Innovation like Blox tailes didn't even get a chance in this category when that game is arguably the best game to release in 2024 and show the most Innovation again proving that even categories like this that Roblox isn't controlling are basically glorified popularity contests and nothing more souls RNG isn't even a game for crying out loud so best new experience in quotations makes sense the experience is you getting dopamine after spending 20 plus hours AFK pulling for a virtual Aura to flex on your friends People's Choice actually isn't that bad but we all know the strongest Battlegrounds is taking this I just don't agree with them swaying the votes for this either but TSB actually deserves some type of award for the sheer influence the game has had on the platform so far but best video star Creator caused a bit of friction between people because a lot of people said Conor 3D doesn't deserve to win because of him being a tutorial YouTuber a we all know he probably won't win regardless because Creek craft exists exhibit D what what roblx can do to make the Innovation Awards better I think roox can easily solve all the problems with this year's Innovation Awards if they just regulate it a little better first any swaying of the vote should lead to an automatic disqualification of any nomination Point Blank period it makes zero sense why games can't just be on the same playing field also Roblox just needs to regulate all the awards except for player choice that can stay but best new experience definitely should have been chosen by the people at ROBLOX also Roblox desperately needs to look deeper into the site instead of just picking games that show up on the front page it shows their ignorance to their own platform and it is getting increasingly more embarrassing with every event that they do because they are always including the same games if you couldn't tell if Roblox just does one of these
