but there's no throw he cannot make he benefited from sitting behind Aaron Rogers and learning I think he is going to be a superstar at the quarterback position we were drafting NFL players I think you and I would agree we take Patrick Mahomes number one I'm taking Jordan love number two he can singlehandedly make plays out of structure he can make plays in structure he has a great arm he's athletic and he's doing it with the youngest receiving core in the history of the National Football I don't think it's crazy to think that he's going to be in that mvp conversation he's got a tremendous opportunity in that NFC North if the Packers are able to unseat the Lions and he buils on what he did to end last season he's going to be in that mvp [Applause] conversation at 2 and5 and with the youngest roster in the NFL the Green Bay Packers were somewhat of an afterthought in the 2023 season at the beginning of the Season there were serious question marks about almost every aspect of their roster including the quarterback if anybody's going to sit there right now and tell me that what they have seen out of Jordan love that a big time player where have you seen it he wasn't great at Utah State and his performance on Monday night Molly was absolutely awful who endured a terrible four game losing stretch in which he threw just four touchdowns and seven interceptions fast forward a few months in the same inexperienced roster had stormed to the NFC divisional round led by a resurgent Jordan love who was playing like one of the best signal callers in the league and now in 2023 it wasn't exactly meant to be with the Packers winning the Super Bowl or even their division ision but now the Packers have everything that they need to have to contend in the NFC for the next 5 to 7 years with the roster they have right now and as crazy as it sounds the Packers have yet another Elite quarterback that looks like he's going to play for the next 10 years and with all the talent that they have around him it means that the Packers have built the perfect team I mean can you really name another franchise that has it as good as Green Bay has had it for the past 30 Years cuz I can't but I think what my favorite about this whole Packer situation was is that before everybody was praising Jordan love they were going through a roller coaster of emotions at the beginning of the 2023 season everyone was anointing Jordan love as the next big thing after he threw six touchdowns and no interceptions in his first two games only for him to take six games to throw his next six touchdowns this time combining with an eight interceptions it was safe to say a pretty poor stretch for the third-year quarterback who in his first year as a starter was putting his short in long-term future very much in Jeopardy but luckily not rattled by the pressure love turned it around and lifted the Packers to a 9 and8 record that was just about good enough to secure playoff football it was one of the most miraculous turnarounds from the youngest roster in the NFL winning six of their last eight before demolishing the second seated Cowboys in the Wild Card round it was one of Love's best performances on the year and for the Packers as a whole unit with the Young quarterback completing 16 of his 21 passes for 272 yards and three touchdowns completely outplaying the MVP runner up on the other team like I mean to go from a questionable two and5 start to absolutely dominating in the Wild Card round it's been a hell of a ride for these Green Bay Packers unfortunately though as we all know it came to an end one week later against the number one seated San Francisco 49ers but there was plenty to be excited about not only did it appear as if the Packers had continued their envious run of talented quarterbacks but they had also completely outplayed the expectations of the youngest team in the NFL like just looking at this roster they are so talented and the craziest part about this entire thing is that their Superstars are just starting their NFL Journeys it just makes me so mad because yet again it's another great time to be a Packers fan as it has been for the past 30 years thanks Brett fav and Aaron Rogers and I mean that's what makes this whole situation just completely unfair for the other teams in the NFL because their roster is so young that over the off season not much had to get done to this team the offense was 10th best on a yards per game basis with plenty of improvement surely on the way thanks to the late Resurgence of love in his very deep cohort receivers the same thing cannot be said about this defense though where they ranked 22 in yards conceded and I mean a big reason for that was their 27.1 yards conceded on the ground per game was 28th in the league and I feel like this is the same thing we say about pretty much every Packers team over the past 30 years whether it was with Brett Favre Aaron Rogers or now love is that the defense has always seemingly been the problem for the Green Bay Packers but with that being said the team should be happy with how they did bolster this defense in the off season two exciting new linebackers and two safeties arrived between rounds two and four of the 2024 NFL draft with Edan Cooper headlining the defensive additions they then selected a third safety in round five before rounding out the draft with quarterback Kalin King in the seventh round Green Bay took the volume approach to this draft class this year often doubling even tripling up at certain positions and you can understand why they decided to do so again in 2024 wide receivers Christian Watson Romeo dobs Jaden Reed and davien Wicks were all selected with day two picks in the 2022 and 2023 drafts in addition to the doubling up of tight ends Luke Musgrave and Tucker craft in rounds 2 and three in 2023 and I mean it's safe to say that all six of these guys have gone on to have pretty good success in the NFL so far turning what was initially a weakness of this team into a major strength and now if the same thing can happen with the class that they just brought in from 2024 which featured I think three offensive linemen three safeties and two inside linebackers this team is going to be laughing at the NFL like I mean I don't think this front office is getting as much credit as they should for this type of strategy of like almost doubling down on all these position groups because when they do this it really saves them or just at least protects them from one of these guys being a bust is they kind of just just go next man up and hope that that guy's not a bust next and if he is then they go to the third option but it also allows for the fact that if it does pan out with this one single player that they did draft then they just completely overhauled a position group and now they can work on changing that position group from a weakness into a major strength of the team especially the fact when you can have multiple starters at that position group because you drafted so many of them and not only did they just depend on the draft to help them get more players but they also used free agency so well this past offseason to help them try to win the NFC Xavier mckenny was the big signing of the offseason with the safety signing a 4-year 67 million contract he immediately provides experience and quality in the secondary while also offering a mentorship role to the newcomers in the draft mck's fresh off of his season where he had the highest PFF coverage grade of any safety in the league and was the fourth highest ranked at the position overall with three rookies then joining him on the depth chart the present and the future of the safety position on the Packers roster is in very good hands the other big free agent signing came on the other side of the ball which honestly I think is a bigger signing with Josh Jacobs taking over the starting running back role from Aaron Jones who has taken his talents to the division rival Minnesota Vikings Jacobs is coming off a quiet year of 85 yards at 3 and2 yards per carry and although those stats from last year don't really make it sound like that exciting of a signing what he has offered in the past couple of years before that really do make it a big signing for the Packers in 2022 Josh Jacobs was handed the ball a mass of 340 times collecting 1,653 yards and 12 touchdowns at 4.9 yards per carry he also reeled in 53 more receptions for another 400 yards as well it was a monster season for the physical running back leading the league in rushing and earning a first team allp pro selection Jacobs is a few years younger than Jones and a return to the form of his 2022 season would be a huge ass set to this exciting offense and when we look even deeper in the back field the Packers have hopefully found their starting running back of the future in Marshon Lloyd who was selected in the third round of the 2024 draft Lloyd was Daniel Jeremiah's favorite running back in the class he's a bulky and physical running back who is explosive and has good potential to improve as a pass catcher the 2024 season is a great opportunity for Lloyd to learn from Jacobs and get a grip with the NFL without having the pressure of having to carry the load of the running back position and I mean that just adds great depth to an offense that is already loaded everywhere else now the main area of strength for this roster besides the quarterback position which we're going to talk about Jordan love in a minute is this wide receiver room I mean they are just stacked at this position group and hell I'm even going to say it is that if these guys develop the right way and love continues to play the way he is this wide receiver room might be one of the best if not the best wide receiver room in the NFL soon and I mean it was an absolutely fascinating rotation of talent in Green Bay last season show showcasing a wide array of talented wide receivers who seem to almost take turns to break out for a big game Watson had his breakout in 2022 which has since then been slightly derailed because of injury but nevertheless he has game-breaking speed in is a dangerous deep threat his fellow 2022 drafty Romeo dos has also proven to be a very capable option last year in weeks three and four of the 2024 season he saw 25 targets which he converted into 168 yards and a touchdown but that wasn't even dos' biggest game which came much later in the season when he caught all six of his targets for 151 yards and a touchdown against Dallas in the Wild Card round hammering it was just an absolute dominant performance that dos put up in which he was responsible for over half of Jordan L's yards on the day like I mean the dude was constantly just popping up in wide open spots to defeat the cowboy Zone coverage schemes and put the game to bed before it had even started it is so clear to see that love trust dos who is a Dependable receiver who can move the chains and make big plays when needed alongside dos and Watson the Packers boast a very exciting pair of second-year receivers in Jaden Reed and davien Wix Reed brings the speed and Wix brings the size with both players showing flashes of immense potential in 2023 Reed led the team with 793 yards and eight touchdowns contributing early and often Wicks on the other hand emerged much later in the season showcasing his skill set with a couple of 90 yard appearances against Los Angeles and Tampa Bay before wrapping up the season with with a two touchdown game against Chicago and as crazy as it sounds this wide receiver room has more Talent behind all of those guys and now I know Bo Melton and Malik Heath aren't like the most like eye-catching names but they did put up some big games last year adding the Titans Luke Musgrave and Tucker craft who both had over 350 yards as rookies and you have an exciting collection of receivers who should keep defenses guessing like I mean this offense is just littered with talent and they can beat you so many different ways this season and I mean for them to make these type of impacts as like rookies and second-year guys just show how good they're going to be in the future and how deep they might be able to make a playoff run this year too like it's safe to say that their Super Bowl window is now wide open and because of the Youth of this roster it's not going to be closing anytime soon now of course the primary driver of the offense and the main reason the Super Bowl window has arrives so soon after the last is because of Jordan love it's a testament to his talent that so many of his young Playmates ERS have enjoyed breakout years in 2023 in his first year as a starter love passed for 4,159 yard 32 touchdowns in 11 interceptions his 32 touchdowns were second behind Dak Prescott's 36 and his PFF grade was a tidy 83.6 which is not bad for your first year under Center love spent two years learning the ropes from Aaron roders and it showed love combines skill with Flare to produce some very impressive performances and some outrageous throws that he should not have been able to make but was making nonstop and I think the most exciting thing about this whole thing with Jordan love and just watching him develop was that he showed a lot of the traits that made Rogers so good too throwing off his back foot with ease and finding creative ways to get the ball to his guys the Pinnacle of the Season came in the Wild Card round against Dallas When Love Was simply Elite in his first taste of playoff action though not afraid of the big stage in one of the League's best defenses love simply just shredded them completely ripping throws over the middle and making smart decisions at the line of scrimmage he was completely unfazed by the Dallas defense completing 76.2% of his passes for 272 yards and three touchdowns and the reality of it is that this game was over by halftime and now yes the loss the following week to the Niners didn't help either when they kind of lost it because of the throw he made at the end of the game but we can forget that or at least make an exception just because of how excited people were just watching him at the end of the 2023 season like we've seen so many other types of quarterbacks just struggle in the playoffs but we didn't see that same thing from Love and now this one I know is going to get some people heated especially EU Ben but take Dak Prescott as an example whose embarrassing collapse looked even worse when compared to Love's composed dismantling of one of the League's best defenses in the same game the Cool Head Strong Arm and ability to make off-platform throws already makes love one of the best quarterbacks in the NFC and potentially already a top five quarterback in the NFL and I'm not just saying that just to say that we've had former general managers Like Mike tanon bomb who took it even one step further to say that if there was a redraft of the NFL right now he would be taking Jordan love second overall behind Patrick Mahomes that might seem like a bold statement but you can understand where he's coming from love has learned from one of the best quarterbacks if not one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time for two years before being allowed to thrive in his first opportunity to start like it's crazy to say this but he has a hell of a lot of skill youthfulness on his side and plenty more room for potential that is everything you want from a quarterback like it hurts me to say this but somehow Green Bay has managed to find another damn good quarterback in the rest of the NFL is absolutely terrified of what that could mean like it's clear that love already has a good connection with his young group of pass catchers and his ability to nurture big performances from each of them should not be overstated like look when I say this right now I mean this just flat out because CJ stra did it last year good quarterbacks Elevate their weapons not the other way around and yes while it is fair to be excited about all of the talent that the Packers do have on this roster right now the only reason all of those guys were able to reach that type of stardom and just Superstar level if you even want to call it that just being good players is what I should say is because of Jordan love like they don't have a true Superstar Wide Receiver right now on this team and that shows because I mean if you look around the rest of the NFL they don't have one of those Superstar guys like Diggs Jefferson Keenan Allen in their own division they need to get a superstar receiver like don't get me wrong Romeo dos is a competent X receiver and Jaden Reed is an exciting prospect at the Z receiver position but they are both a long way off the likes of Justin Jefferson CD lamb or even Aman ra that's what makes what love was able to do last season even more impressive he has thrived and put out a dominant season without any Elite Firepower at the wide receiver position that really just shows you how just high this ceiling can be for Jordan love and how excited Packer fans and just honestly NFL fans should be to watch this kid grow through their young Suds they have built up the perfect team a unit that can attack you in multiple ways and one that should be operating at a high level for bargain prices for the next few years the Youth of this team should be able to carry them allowing the front office to spend up on a few expensive veterans to help get them across the line this year was Xavier McKenna and Josh Jacobs and it will be fascinating to see how they impact this flourishing Green Bay team but I want to know what you guys think how good are the Green Bay Packers going to be this season and look I'm going to say it right now the Packers are going to win the NFC North yes I said it it's it's 1 a 1B with the Lions right now I really do think that Jordan love just takes this team over the top and he probably is the best quarterback in that division right now as crazy as it sounds I know but I want to know what you guys think let me know down in the comment section below how good are the Packers what do you guys think are they going to win more or less than 10 games let me know and I'll
