but it seems a lot of effort to go to cutting someone's thumb off I don't think it's that much effort to be fair [Music] so after a long Hiatus walking videos are back and I am for the first time in my life in Sunny Rochdale as I go for a walk with stunt Peg yeah all right love also known as Neve oh local you have to translate for me let's look around [Music] is this walk a regular walk of yours naive used to be when I was between the ages of 11 and 15 pretty much every day of every summer and me and my pals have come and do this walk and just something to do see if we could find a horse run away from the horse oh we're gonna see a horse today hopefully not another fun horses and why were you doing it every year just to throw a little bit isn't it you know what I mean a little threat of death foreign [Music] yeah I do I do know of someone who who sadly died by cows won't go into a detailed description of how and when um sorry to hear that yeah yeah I didn't know them trampled trampled to be fair that you'd be surprised I feel like more people die by a cow than maybe like an aircraft it's a disaster probably did they have I don't want to go two into two very personally did they have a dog with them because that quite often antagonizes you know I don't know but I I'm actually leaning towards no okay but that I think a lot of people because cows are quite friendly looking animals even though they're big I feel like right they're having sex I don't think they're flying I think they were just having a laugh to be fair did you yeah they're just having a laugh but like they look approachable don't they it's very friendly the other cow I had a real pullover getting here you know well it was trains delayed uh to me that like to meet you in Rochdale it was eight hours from leaving my house I went I went to Grantham I stuck in Grantham for a bit because I missed my train there's a train every hour literally missed it by one minute because of the delay I had to hang out and Grantham went on the oven to two separate Morrisons today uh and then when I met up with you we met up in central Rochdale Rochdale station we got the tram to this place what's this what's this Village called milenbra the local dialect owner for local dialects um and it went wrong because we got in the tram and I didn't have a ticket for the trailer I panicked a bit you were pretty cool with it all your experience of the tram I don't want to say it like that but yeah that was pretty cool I panicked a bit we got off we went we had to jump off at the station do the tappy bit on a thing you we put it at the same time I was worried that you're one had gone through in Manhattan so I then waited to tap it a second time look round Tramadol sharp I was stuck in new new bold new bold yeah and you don't want to be stuck there to be first and then so this had happened I was all like oh my God what's happened you went off into the distance on the tram I sort of just walked down and someone said Robbie so yeah didn't know she said right what are you doing in Rochdale and as I went to answer another tram came across cops I had to try and mime I'm going for a walk with stunt pegs so I was sort of going like filming and I didn't know what to do for you so I did like a football kicking thing I don't think it would have got it they hate you now I bet they go back now to their mum and say Robin Knox is such a rude piece of work here he just did that happen and then so that happened and this is all within like 30 seconds and then I just turned around having given up this guy turn around took a step forward and a rat run out from the side and I sort of like accidentally kicked this rat I'll be clear what's that said it wasn't some Zoomer of the Rat World leather does this rat a little bit I don't think it was fine but just hit across that I was getting what is going on here my life's got to put in the last few minutes but it's all okay it's all okay we're up north so you grew up here grew up here um yeah it's it's nice it's it's okay yeah it's okay it looks nice no it's nice we've heard this isn't well like I say we used to walk here every day of the summer even though they were horses it tells you everything you need to know this was the place to be because everywhere else is a little bit boring do you do a lot of walking now okay I love walking yeah it's nice isn't it it's just soothes the soul I like to put my earphones in do you yeah all and block out the world you see I like I don't really put my earphones when I'm in the country if I'm walking through a city I put earphones in but out here I like the noise of nature I like the silence and the tranquility yeah I do get that to be fair but I also quite like having like Whitney Houston on whilst there's like a pigeon or something you can romanticize the pigeon then see what I mean in what way not in like a suspicious manner in a just like that pigeon's got a life that pigeon's got a family um those little birds have got wives those cows have got lives that pigeon wants to dance with somebody what was it like Greg up here um yeah it was okay I mean to be fair I'm not gonna like pretend it was magical because it is pretty working class this area um doesn't really see much money and and as a consequence of that you've got a lot of people with you know I haven't got a pot to piss in so they go looking for a people's pots and literally my granddad spent ages building this flower pot and big flower pot thing within one day pinched yeah um that is disappointing that that is a great word for it it can be disappointing but at the same time also people really stick their neck out for you as well so it's it's the mix of both really yeah when we were walking up you said I said um what's the village like and you said oh it's the kind of place and I thought you were going to say well you can leave your door open and although if you weren't you were saying well everything's gonna get stolen yeah the I had five bikes um that were pinched and the Annoying Thing was there was one bike I had and the brakes stopped working so I placed it outside and lived on like a just off a main road and I placed it outside the door thinking I'll be gone within a few hours come on do me a favor yeah nobody touched it Discerning bike thieves they don't want to your rubbish bite really got on my nerves that yeah I remember when I was a kid this guy fell on you had his car stolen and he went outside and he was like and he saw his car wasn't there he's like oh no he's there swearing and some kid drove by on a bike I said what's up mate to him and he said um my car's been stolen the guys looked and went got it and just rode off and then Phil looked down at the ground and the only thing left from his car was the tape that he'd had it's going back a few years the tape he'd had any stereo so these people have nicked his car and gone but your music's rubbish I've thrown it out the window that's a that's an unnecessarily cruel blow my mum did have her car pinched as well to be fair the car still gets stolen as much when I was young Carl's got stuck all the time it was kind of her fault because she left the keys in the door and like shut the door didn't lock didn't lock the door the keys were in the door she did lock the door but she did something it was basically an invitation it's like there's a serial killer in America in the 70s I think and he saw the Ramirez and he would only kill people if their doors were unlocked because he saw it as an invitation and as much as it's not good what he did you can understand like a little bit of his logic there trying to teach trying to warn people about home safety in another Orthodox fashion yeah I do agree though with you that it is probably he did go a bit far some would say yeah yeah what are the cows up to now is it all animals you don't trust cows and horses is it is it farmyard animals or you're out with cats and dogs any animal that is oh my God cow yeah the white cow was the one that was doing naughty things before when I was just head-butted another cow and now it's sniffing another world's bum not the same what a what a renegade a renegade cow I like your videos Neve I don't watch a lot of football YouTube I really enjoy yours and I really enjoy Alice patterns as well I think they're I think you're funny I think and enthusiastic and you make me care about games that I wouldn't otherwise care about some any more compliments there's plenty to be going on with isn't it one more one more um I like how willing you are to travel because I like travel and I like your enthusiastic about going to different countries definitely definitely Fair because actually a time and effort into I wouldn't say it's typical of like a lot of videos are maybe made a certain way and I'd say mine are a little bit different in the sense that they might be a little bit more laid back yeah and so it's what I've noticed with my audiences they're a little bit older as well actually so I've got a really nice oh I can't believe it's starting to rain no it was not I've not come prepared for this no I've not come prepared for this our typical North isn't it but it's blue skies well we're just under oh that's not blue skies is it oh God what are we gonna do no but the problem I've got is as well as a northerner I've got to pretend this doesn't bother me what do we do let's let's walk and let's hope that the trees shelter us let's find shelter on the trees and then I will pick up more compliments for you [Music] ah Neva just got stung by a stingy nettle have you actually yeah just a little whereabouts because I don't I'm not too bothered about your situation but I just don't want to have the same sort of what we're gonna do what's that tactic is it is raining a lot yeah to move move find the nearest Calvary because there's a lot of them and okay so we will find one and we will be okay neighbors are chickens warning sign how do you feel about chickens yeah I'm a good turn to the chickens they're good but I'm a little bit more curious about this because that house was not there the last time I came and there was a bridge as well that we noticed that wasn't there they'll be building a co-op next and you know what I mean like just taking over our land I've spotted the lake but more importantly I've spotted a pub and a chippy never that far it's like they say you're never more than six meters from a rat in cities and you're up north you'd have more than 200 meters from a chippy and also rats rain's gone it's nice isn't it yes we're looking out over a lake here people's sailing what is this a reservoir um no it's a month it is a man-made lake okay yeah was it an Old Quarry or something I don't details but I've never Googled it really I haven't got that one I've got a huge interest in lakes that goes beyond just looking at them no fair enough if you've been on a boat yeah I've been on the boat yeah to be fair not on one of these not in the lake though what's your boat history just a ferry from Dublin to where it's away until I liked it um I've done I don't have other ferries I've done over to Calais quite a bit and I've done Portsmouth to can I don't know how you pronounce it c-a-e-n I think it's Canyon as a citizen of Europe the French correspondent you're saying we're walking down that you're considering I think we'll move abroad yeah I think so I think I think that in this as much as I do actually really living England I do think that it but it's through no fault of people but the last few years has taken its toll on people and I'd say the the general mood of the country is quite low yeah and you can really pick that up especially living in Manchester City Center um and it's just yeah it just it seems to have a real negative energy around the place so I think I'd rather go somewhere for a bit where Spirits are a bit higher yeah I think if I was I do often think it's a young YouTube type I think why don't you move abroad and stuff like that I don't know um where do you think you'll go I'm thinking either Germany or Italy um have you got European passport then I've got the Italian passport on the way I mean they're taking their time but hopefully I'll get it sorted this year and then just get myself there because the Italian passport now is like one of the most valuable passports in the world which is great how come um I think it's just the access it gives you within Europe and like the relationships it's got for certain countries and when you can therefore stay but obviously with the English passport you can stay up to 90 days yeah yeah yeah I'm not sure that there's certainly I know people who are like travel YouTubers and stuff like that have to be really wary of how long they can be in the Schengen area and stuff like that do you like traveling I know you do my biggest fear is actually flying is it yeah still not gone still up and every time I go on a flight I like I clench my fists and whatever um I'd be a terrible person during the flight I'm a great person sit next to you because you keep myself to myself yeah but take off and London people probably can feel the the energy from it it's not great I love takeoff I love that power you know with the engine but there's a moment when the plane just sort of like it stops but it's kind of like a bit of a silent moment when you like after you've taken off every single time even though it's happened on every flight I've been on and it's been okay every single time about fail I'm convinced that the engine's just on that I had a bit once when I was going into land I've been skiing and it's quite windy and rainy and we're coming into Gatwick and it was with solo to Landing you can see the lights from under the wings on the ground and just before we touch down the engine just roared in and we did this and I should have said was just um Parts I've just pulled out that Landing which way for someone to find out what's going on and there were people around like praying and stuff like that and the pilot came on they had we had a bit of Crosswinds coming into land and took the city to bought the landing and he at that moment was the sexiest person in the world it was so so hot just I love I love that I like travel in general I Like Trains a lot yeah like I do like trains so like I like that you don't have to do anything you just again put your earphones in I love listening to me was literally like my hidden talent is my musical knowledge it's if I do say so myself but it's because it's just all I listen to it all the time okay music from 60 70 to 1890s current day I just love it I just love different sounds and and that's what I love about public transport I love the walks as well and then hot water is just magical walking from like one gate to the other gate or walking to the Train Station Airport I just love it how did you feel about the little travelator things the the like flat escalators I don't see the point in them sometimes because they're so crowded that you don't even speed yourself up I just want a new person who walks around so I use them as an opportunity to overtake yep I try and not judge people I think you should be accepting of all but people who just stop when they get on The Traveler because it's like is that all that's keeping going is the necessity you can go even faster with that they just go I don't know if they've got like kids or loads of bags fair enough people just go and just stand there and wait to stop and then kind of walking like what are you doing I've got is one one take up the whole yeah as well business there's no you know crash to go through and because I'm not confrontational the absolute most I'll do is like a cough so I wish I do wish I had more about me because if I did I'd be saying no excuse me excuse me oh dude excuse me I can't do it excuse me can't you yeah I don't like it I once I was um delayed on one flight so my connecting flight I'd have missed it if I hadn't like gone to the front of passport control yeah that was the worst day of my life having to go to people and say I'm so sorry guys I've this my flight goes in five minutes is there any chance I could you know and but people get really protective understandably they want to see you boarding pass they need to see their photographic evidence that your flight's actually in five minutes yeah oh it was pure chaos wow good moment stressful yeah yeah did you find do you find yourself getting quite anxious in social situations like that 100 because I spent quite a few of my years teenage years sort of um through my own choice really didn't really spend time with the people because I wasn't wasn't in a great um headspace and I just I couldn't deal with people and so there was like and then lockdown came and so it just is it's kind of like it and this is the case for a lot of people my age lockdown and the online world it's really taken an impact on that social ability that a lot of young people have got and because I read something somewhere um about young people they'd be happy to go contact us for everything like you know when you get your transport you just contactless you go and buy something from the shop you know it's a machine everything basically they'd be happy for it to Warby machine and even though I struggle in those social situations I would not want that because I think it would be really damaging um on a sort of generation I noticed after lockdown a lot of young people who'd sort of missed out on two years of socializing at that key moment didn't seem to know how to go to the pub and things like that sort of thing it was like the things that you would normally naturally pick up it seemed a bit sort of like everyone's a little bit like I think a lot of us young people is we pre-program what we're going to say in situations and because when you're online you literally can you get a message there's no speed in which you have to reply so you can pre-plan exactly what your response is going to be and like if I go to the post office I know sort of the conversation that's going to happen so I'll pre-plan what I need to say but if that conversation diverts oh yeah I think I sort of sometimes do it I'll prepare if I've got a phone call to make or something like that I'll have a little think through a little pre-cycle thing but then if something happens land conversation how good you were dealing with better now I've got older I think you just care a lot less when you get older in a nice positive way because I think more stuff goes wrong like in your life so then by the time I can't think of the things I used to worry about when I was like 18 or 20 or something like that like you get a night out you have a drink or something you'd say something he'd be really reliving it for ages like I remember being uni and I remember I can't I remember I had some girl I knew who I'd been talking I've drunk to some girl it was like a friend of someone I knew but I didn't know her very well I remember being so embarrassed the next day and now I can't remember why I was embarrassed I can't remember what I said I can't remember her name I can't really remember what she looks like but at the time I remember being such like oh my God what'd I say I mean maybe it was horrific I can't remember but yeah I think you just sort of become a bit more I think as well like it's the more things that you do like if you don't put yourself out there and you don't have those situations as much each one really matters as well so you might find yourself regretting either not saying the right thing or not saying more or not making the most of it whereas if you keep putting yourself in those situations where you're having conversations and stuff then you become a bit likewise yeah I hope we did we did a happy hour tour you came along actually didn't you um early in the year and when people would see people message or on forums and stuff afterwards saying oh I gotta admit the boys afterwards and it was I think I embarrassed myself so much and I didn't I was just really quiet I did this or something like that I just think I had no nobody's embarrassed there's no one I remember him being embarrassing I think that's something we'll talk more some people talk less you know I mean it's no one's some people build things up I guess yeah yeah especially if you're an introverted person but you've got a real like you've got a load going on up there you've got interests and stuff it's like finding a way like for me music's my biggest interest but it's I find it quite hard to express that because I'm naturally quite reserved person and this is the way I appreciate music and stuff it's a bit different it's not you know in a conventional way what do you mean so I just sort of if I if if there's a one-man show in the kitchen I'll have a boogie but I can't dance to be fair and like you know so what I'll do in in a public setting is I'll lose all ability of my limbs because I know I can't dance but it looks like from a distance oh she's not feeling the tune she doesn't like the tunes but secretly like I'm loving it like Beyonce is loving it but I'm not going to boogie in the same way that other people Boogie but I went to recently went to a um event with Justine and a lot of them are Dutch because I think it's a Dutch company to prepare and oh my gosh we need to learn from the Dutch because they they when I say they couldn't dance like I'm not saying I'm not saying they couldn't dance but it wasn't like Beyonce dancing but they didn't care and it was so good and like it that Carefree dancing doesn't need to be good yeah it's just and I love that that's something I'm a bit jealous of people who grew up in like the 80s and the 90s you've been able to go somewhere and just let loose and not worry that people are gonna be filming you more in a certain way you've got to move and stuff yeah I think that's quite lucky and I would I went to for six months and there's a guy there called guitar Doug who was the local Entertainer and and you just play covers looks like Jesus beard long hair um and then I went back like five years ago four or five years ago and it was like 20 years since I've been there and he was still there in a band now called the hair Farmers we went to see him we often hey Doug we were here in the 90s he went out I can't have a beer with him we were just chatting about this he goes around those are crazy days I was again it's kind of the same Now isn't it it seems the same still seems Lively there he goes he goes now camera phones killed it yeah yeah and I I said all right he said do you remember naked limbo I totally forgot about this but they do people have skis and people would be like getting naked off into sting limbo in a bar which you know what we'll do now because that'll be all over the Internet and in minutes it has kind of taken away naked limbo I saw actually someone [Applause] away Northern Soul plates and I'm really like look at it because they look great and you know the average age people in the northern Soul a little bit older but they're there but it's good they're there to like have a good time like this guy taking a picture of the outside but there was nobody filming on the inside I think it's it's one of those places where it's like a a judge-free Zone you just feel the music you have a Dan substituted normal dancing which looks amazing and but you don't have to be good at it you just you know you're just there to um just feel that music over people and connect with other people do you think people would notice anyway if you're not dancing right I don't think I've ever seen someone in Ghana go look at their dancing that's the thing but like you and me aren't like that but then there's also for everyone like that if you go to like a nightclub nowadays there is a lot of people and my age who if you if you get a good Pub people don't care and like when I lived up in Newcastle the pubs we used to go in jesmond they were brilliant you know there'd be people rocking up in a dress but then there's also people rocking up in the joggers and the fleece like nobody cared and but then also certain clubs if you get unlucky it's just everyone non-stop with their cameras filming filming filming God and I just yeah I just attack I don't like that at all me I love I saw a club I was out the other night I saw people queuing up for a club for me to queue up for something outside now I used it all the time you keep up for like half an hour an hour or something to get in somewhere it could be the Kia it would have to be incredible sometimes the cue is is the best fit and then once she went and I'll just go to the toilet use up this bit of time go and get a drink use at this bit of time and then get back out there it's interesting because you're you're you talk about being sort of I guess not outgoing all this stuff but think about moving to a different country where you don't know people is quite a lot of people will be terrified about that yeah it's I find that my mum says that all the time because my mum she knows what I'm like so she's not that she doesn't understand it but there are moments where she's confused by this idea that I suffer so bad socially but literally my career is gone from one place Another Place Another Place all the time and where you've got loads of high stress situations but I can't explain it I think it's about Comfort zones like if I go somewhere it can be anywhere if it's something that's within my comfort zone it could be whether that be football that's a big part of my comfort zone I'm okay but it's sometimes I'm good at hiding it too I want that I'm very very good at hiding um like the stuff going on like um I used to be really bad when I was younger I used to get um like really bad heart palpitations like my legs would shake and stuff and but I've grown like quite good but just hiding when I'm when I'm feeling it like it just this year the championship final and spent a lot of time with different like YouTubers and stuff and cool people and I met um a guy that Troy Hawk you know greeted yeah I met him and he's brilliant and it took me about five minutes to psych myself up because I was on my own at the time to go and say like hello and that whole time that was speaking to him in my brain I was like meltdown meltdown meltdown but looking back I was quite good at like hiding that yeah and which I can't wait for the day that I don't care enough that it's not about hiding it I just like don't care anymore that kind of thing okay I think I think the more you do things the more get used to it I'd say I think I think it will definitely decrease I don't think it'll ever fully go away but then I feel like there's so many people out there that they're also really good at hiding it and it's coming to terms with that as well it's like everybody you know as their problems or is there like maybe a bit self-conscious or not very confident I think I think when you're young as well everyone you'll go into a place like you start Union like an electrical or something like that and you won't I'd rather feeling like wouldn't have the guys to just talk to someone who's next to me or something like that but you think well everyone wants to yeah I feel like being creepy or weird everyone wants to sort of make friends and and chat to people which is people don't really want to do the first bit you should walk [Music] cheers knee cheers is this a pub you frequented regularly yeah definitely uh come here with a veg um you're vegetarian aren't you does that make sense yeah yeah yeah but it always makes me giggle at carveries because whenever you go there if you play and sell it's just vegetables for me they look at you and feel a bit sorry for you but I don't mind I don't need the car do they do a vegetarian do they do like a nut roast it's like it's like a beetroot and feta roast it sounds nice but it's nice I like a nut roast not so sure I can make my own nut roast at Christmas time um it's my wife's vegetarian uh and I do I don't mind at all I just eat at Christmas I don't ever eat Christmas food though like at Christmas the one of the most recent Christmases mum she made the paella for everyone oh yeah we sort of just so we have whatever we have we had Curry won the one Christmas where a bit of a crazy family really Renegades didn't play by the rules do you now I like the tradition of Christmas I like I like the sort of we're getting a routine now in Christmas day enjoy the greatest addition to my Christmas day has been since we moved to Norwich last two years we've done Christmas Day visits the pub it is fantastic it's really nice because you're only there for a couple of hours it's only for two hours you go there see Neighbors see friends um former football Darren Huckabee's always in my local pub as well um yeah it's always a really lovely little atmosphere and there's just families like my son got you know a Bop It game do you ever Bop It my son got that bar pit got that for Christmas and I found him in the garden teaching someone's Grand how to play it that's the kind of thing you want I think for Christmas yeah everyone's just in such a nice mood aren't they yeah everyone's in good spirit so you get the best of people we we used to go to um memorability and the Copper Pot each Christmas the local Indians right and and we'll book a table they have our meal there and and it was just lovely like after the meal they'd all come over and you'd get like a Bailey's and on the house and that kind of thing and it's just really nice spirits Indian restaurants can be quite good at giving a free spirit at the end of a meal irrelevant at the time of year I find very generous for that always come over with a with that and also a little like um mint chocolate as well which is always nice that is nice that is nice what's your least favorite time of the year um I just adjusting the camera funnily enough do you know I actually not that Keen on some I'm not that Keen on you know I'm not that Keen on I don't like whether to be really cold um but I'm really I'm not great with proper sunshine and warmth I don't know what it is I just it's not for me I I like it to be spring I like t-shirt whatever but no more you're a bit Italian surely that just rubbed off on you no it's not at all to be fair but then I'm like at times I feel as Italian as a sausage Rojo I mean because like I literally like my dad's Italian but he grew up in Australia I'm Italian but grew up in Rochdale so it's uh yes whereabouts in Italy is your dad from Napoli oh yeah I believe you know to be specific amazing for pizza yeah absolutely gorgeous I'm planning on doing a video don't steal this YouTubers oh I shouldn't say it [ __ ] not you you know it's not football okay we'll steal if you want but I'll just do it anyway I'm gonna I'm gonna go and eat Italy's Best Pizza which is in place in Naples at the minute yeah yeah well are you talking about um antique is that is that the one I don't know it was something it was something that was a won the peach of the year last year it might have changed by the time we get around in the video that me when I took my mum for the first time to um Napoli there was a place that we queued up outside um which at the time was supposed to be the best pizza and we queued up for about 45 minutes outside they come around with these little paper tickets and then they'll call your number in when it's your time yeah um and it's really good what I especially loved about it was that the pizzas were four Euros as well which is just beautiful I mean that in itself is tasty it does it's amazing because I just think here everything's got so expensive recently I assumed that was like that everywhere in Europe earlier this year I went to Barcelona to do a video and it's not no Barcelona is still really cheap yeah it's just this country I'd say this country um there's other countries that are expensive but the other countries that are directive but every everything's just better so like I went to like talking to you about going to Scandinavia and like everything's really expensive there the food the coffee that kind of thing but then you can see why like do you know what I mean like they get paid very well so I know Norwegians they get paid at the streets are cleaner like in Oslo I can't believe it though in Oslo it costs one pound fifty to go to the toilet in the train station now that is they like robbery that's not that's not cool no that's not good but at the same time the toilets were so beautifully clean and the area was so clean and modern and amazing so you could sort of kind of see not why because I'm not justifying that but you know Manchester Victoria used to charge 20p yeah but the toilets were gross we seem to be getting rid of toilet station toilet charges in the UK now yeah I've noticed that more and more are becoming free Victoria Station London free now it's um Liverpool Street free which is good I don't think you should have to pay to go the toilet because it's just going to encourage you with a toilet in place they shouldn't toilet yeah and I agree with that and you know it shows as well that if we put our minds to it and we don't want something to to happen we've removed the toilet charges you know what next can we do what can we achieve as Humanity now yeah well if you look in France they've they're trying to increase the age of retirement and and people take it to the streets protesting because of it and I kind of wish we'd do a little bit more of that in this country and we're not happy with things do you know what they did in France like they got rid of tipping yeah they went they had little meeting all of France got together in a Convention Center I might be exactly how this happened and they went tippings rubbish isn't it so now they've put their flat 15 on in food things and you don't tip in France it's a great system is it if you did try and tip do you think yeah but there's no expectation to tip yeah and everyone's looked after because they're getting the tip is as part of the food I love France it's a great country looks like social anxiety with things like um I went to Supercuts once and um in my head I'm building up I wanna I wanna tip the the lady who's done my hair but the only thing that's stuffing me in my brain is that I'm gonna have to like have a conversation about it and like try and give her this money and I did it I actually built up in the end and went to give her a tip turns out they're not allowed to accept tips um but and I didn't like that because it was I wasn't expecting to say that I did I had it pre-built in my head what she was going to say she was going to go oh thank you love but she didn't she said oh no thank you but we're not allowed to accept them so I went oh sorry sorry my bad and put it in my pocket how did you feel afterwards a little bit silly but then I also felt glad that I at least offered yeah you see that's it I think it's it's it should appreciate that yeah I think it is America's weird for tipping isn't it like it's I don't I don't get it like is it have you been to America a bit Yeah and have you ever been in a situation where well the problem is you need to just carry loads of like dollar bills everywhere yeah I don't understand how you get enough I mean it might have changed the prices sort of thing with that but normally like if you'd you'd like leave a couple dollar bills you've got some drinks and all this stuff you deal this sort of thing or if someone helps you the bags and all this just giving like money where'd you get all the dollar dollar bills from I don't we live in a cashless society as well I know but I've not been to America for any of the time recently so I don't know what the rule is now I don't know I don't know how they do it if you're using contacts is it just something on this they're often like on the screen when you go to pay it'll say would you like to and you can click yes or or you can click no yeah and you've got someone just sort of like staring yeah if you click yes or no and you know what I think it's a little weasel move when they include a service charge on the bill and lens stage you want to tip or when they also do it like they'll word it as well on top of the tip would you also like to um give money to be such and such a charity and what have you and I'm always a little bit cynical with that because like if I want to give some money to charity I want it to be a charity that I've found yeah something and not through a company and you don't want the company to claim the credit yeah because they're going to go like oh we've raising this money for charity yeah no I click no but then this lady can see that I clicked no do you know what I mean yeah what does she think what must you think of me I don't think she cares I think she cares but I know what you mean it's socially awkward but actually um a crazy thing about the Casual Society I was speaking to someone who said um that there's a new potential invention in the works in which you can have a contactless chip placed in your thumb so that you can pay for things using your phone or you can get on the train using your thumb you just scan it when I um went to when I was in lived in London years ago when they put out oyster cards which are like the things to pay we need on the train on the other tube and everything like that originally they had they were like credit cards with a little chip in them and I saw a guy on the train he'd obviously cut this chip out there's always a card and he got to the gate and he pulled out a wand like Harry Potter when they opened the gate for him that's not like that that's one of the best things I've ever seen no if you did put chips in chips and thumbs will become quite yeah because I mean steal someone's thumb and you've got access to all their money but it seems a lot of effort to go to cutting someone's thumb off I don't know I don't think it's that much effort to be fair you just get a knife I don't I think I think it would take I think ages I think if I try to cut your thumb off now it's going to take a long time but they say that I mean it could be a completely not alive but they say that skin and like it's as easy as biting the banana we just stop ourselves [Applause] at the start of the video I always have a little sound bite and I imagine the one for this one is probably going to be you talking about eating your own hand yeah what so like as in like no that can't be right I'll make it up you Glide for a banana I've been quite hard there you can see the mark in my hand yeah Fair Place yeah yeah I think I think I probably got but it mixed up yeah I'm not sure but I'm not sure about your stat s but I do think though that you know kind of invention is very sort of black mirroresque isn't it and it's that's a a sign of all these sort of things that we see as like dystopian Futures actually potentially coming true you need to put a chip in on fingerprints different anyway um but then again I I just don't think it's safe to make like a part of you that's so easy to chop off so as a minute you could wow yeah I just don't think people are that into chopping bits of people I think it's a lot of effort you just pickpocket something I've never seen apocalypse films you know people do crazy crazy things when they're put in those circumstances yeah but we're not in an apocalypse I just think it's easy if you're gonna steal someone's stuff just pickpocket them use their credit card don't cut their thumb off that's the thing but I'm never gonna have a credit card then so that that's that all there is to me if someone comes up to me says oh give me the money give me the money and I say well I've got nothing I've literally got nothing they'll say rap will give me a thumb then [Music] and if we've reached the end of our walking Adventure thank you very much for showing me around the outskirts of Rochdale um if people are new to you and wish you learn more where can they find you so you can find me on the YouTubes at stump Peg not my legal name um but yeah you stunt Peg if you like football come along hang out they're good
