Why I wrote "You Have It In You"

can you give that a place for pastor Sarah Brady you know what this is not fair when I met you you were you had taken over worship singing in wrecking churches then you started preaching and taking over all the pulpits I can't even get engagement anymore the one thing I had left is I could write a book and bless God's it and come over here and took that too give it up for this woman of God isn't she incredible what in the world in the midst of all the stuff you got to do I know better than anybody how difficult it is to really write a book people think it's easy but it really isn't there has to be an important message in your heart that drives to the write a book what did God say to you that made you invest all the hours and all the time and all the research and all the development that the body of Christ needs to hear in this book it was about 20 years well not quite maybe almost 20 years ago I walked into a church and I had heard about Bishop Jake's somebody told me he was gonna be in a particular particular place and I walked into the building that night waited it was like about 9:30 or so before he ever got there number one I'm white we are out of church before 9:30 home in the bed okay so and it was hot it was a hundred degrees in that building there was no air-conditioning and I mean that devil was fighting me like crazy he wanted me to just get up and walk out because I would have missed one of the greatest turning points in my life had I done that and now I look back over my life and I'm like yeah I would have tried hard too if I was the devil because I would have missed something so powerful in my life touch somebody and telling me about a weight of the benediction is over so Bishop I heard you preach that night and you know I was very good I was kind of conservative but by the time he was finished I was rolling in the floor I already had a bad spirit so the very fact that God climbed over my bad spirit and spoke to my heart told me that destiny was on the line by the time he got finished I sat there and I watched him preach and I was saying like a like a idiot I was going I can do that I can do that I think I could do that I mean who says that about him okay I mean you can find some people you're like man I could do better than that but when he was preaching I was like God it was destiny jumping up and down inside of me well twenty years later after many toils and snares and many times pulling my chair up to his table I began to realize that the hand of God was on my life and I would have so missed it that night because from that moment on I was joined with this man with this purpose this is my point this is what I want to tell you I didn't know I was anything I knew I was Lana Teena Nina's mother Jovi's wife and a worshipper of God but it was well into my 30s before I knew that there was a preacher inside of me I watched God walk into my life snatch a gift out of me that I had lived thirty years and did not know was there when I tell you he blindsided me that's exactly what he did it was like now I'm going to change everything about you changed my personality changed my demeanor I'm telling you I had no idea and Bishop was saying one night he said Adam didn't know that he was locked up inside of him until God said lay down boy about to show you what you got in you whoa lord have mercy when he said that it changed my life he reached inside of me Bishop pulled out the preacher I didn't know there was a preacher there pulled out a pastor I didn't know there was a patch a pastor there pulled in preaching and the pastor pulled out a conference speaker reached into the conference speaker and now he has pulled out an author I had no idea I was 52 when I wrote this book I know I don't look 52 i underscored my new hat today I can't sweat Lord Jesus anyway the point is you stirred up the gift of God within me by the laying on of hands countless times you laid hands on me sometimes you were just laying hands on everybody but I got my head right up under your hand cuz whatever you had in God I wanted and this book right here honest to goodness I told him the other day it's just gleanings in his filled it's stuff that I just walked up behind him and said that's treasure that's treasure and I think he left me a little bit of handfuls on purpose anyway uh this is his and you can't have it but there's one in the lobby that's for you who touch so much that you have it in you find somebody else um you have it in you you have it in here it's in you it's in you it's in you the wisdom is in you the knowledge is in you the creativity is in you the passion is in you the book is in you the business is in you your destiny is in you your healing is in you your deliverance is in you it might not manifest yet but it's down inside of you oh god that's so good I wish out of Road
