Why I Moved to Dubai

[Music] guys we have an announcement to make we decided to live and work here in the desert after traveling to 70 countries we think this is one of the best places to live and work but dude this is a desert actually this is not a desert this is dubai and we are expanding to dubai two years ago i moved to singapore to start the first nas daily office but since then we have grown a lot and for our second office we came to dubai we signed the lease on an office here it's gonna look like this and we signed the lease on a home right here by the water nice that's a sign [Applause] we live in dubai half the time kind of and singapore but the question is why do you buy why do you buy why do buy why do buy well let me tell you first this place is fast only 49 years old this used to be an actual desert like the one i showed you but now it's very far from it it's this this and this and all this progress happened in 49 years only so imagine what will happen in the next 49 more years i want to be there to see it and i want to be there to build it two this place is diverse 90 of the population is made up of immigrants like you me him her and them living here means you get to make friends with people from kenya india us uk romania and the philippines welcome to our country welcome to my country welcome to my country [Music] third dubai has no tax here no one pays income tax like no one which means everything we pay the teammates they keep in other places you pay someone five thousand dollars a month and they barely have any money left a lot of it goes to taxes you've been working here for six years yes how many times did you pay tax zero wait so how much do you pay tax at all no everything i keep so still makes money from other places fourth people are crazy let's admit it you have to be a bit crazy to build the tallest building in the world you have to be crazy to build an entire palm in the ocean crazy to create drinkable water from seawater crazy to build nuclear power plants crazy to build a shark aquarium in a mall crazy to have a city in the desert and i love crazy people [Music] between singapore and dubai i'm a big fan of cities that are clean hardworking and determined to succeed the truth is both places are very far from perfect but they are improving and no one can doubt that i am convinced the next europe and the next america will be in asia and the middle east that's why i am so excited to call this place home
