the video [Applause] Paul Stars is by far the most successful shown History Channel and since first airing nearly a decade ago it has become the network's most profitable show bringing in a few million dollars per episode as a result the show stars have obviously also seen a quite a boost in pay over the years and some of them have used their popularity to make even more money outside of the show while others seem to be satisfied with what they have from additional business ventures to small stakes in low popularity here are 10 reasons why Corey Harrison is the poorest member of Pawn Stars in addition to appearing on Pawn Stars the guys each have other businesses outside of the show in 2014 Corey and a friend bought a bar in downtown Las Vegas called Beauty Bar as it as a beauty salon and a bar all in one the unique establishment has been retrofitted with items from the Capri salon of beauty in Trenton New Jersey and offers beauty treatments by day and drinks and live music by night but while Corey seems to be content with having a bar in addition to the show his co-stars have started several other businesses and made a lot more money than Corey his best friend Chumlee for example is not really as goofy as he's portrayed on the show but is actually a smart businessman whose company sells his own merch and personal appearances since he's the show's fan favorite and gets a lot of offers in fact Chumlee was the first of the series cast to brand himself and his boss Rick then bought into the business so he could have a share in the profits by selling the Chumlee merchandise in the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop together with his brother sage Corey's childhood friend also opened a candy shop called Chumley's candy on the boulevard right across the plaza from the Harrisons pawn shop his earnings from all these business ventures along with the $25,000 he earns per episode of History Channel's popular TV show mean that Chumlee is believed to have a net worth of around five million dollars and as if that wasn't enough already he has also started thinking about a potential second career in music he attended a DJ school and practiced in the turntables at home for awhile before booking us for his gig where he made headlines for requesting Girl Scout cookies and hot chicks on his rider according to TMZ Chumlee has also talked about getting deeper into the music business by becoming a talent scout for Las Vegas artists while Cory seems to be quite happy with where he is right now and doesn't seem to have any plans of making more money with additional business ventures just like Chumlee Cory's father Rick also has more than one additional business outside of Pawn Stars and as fall stars popularity increased Rick decided to expand an open palm plaza in October of 2015 the shopping center is located right next to the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop and features everything from a doughnut shop to Rick's rollin smoke to several non dining establishments however by August of the following year the smoke shop a pizza place and the donut shop had all closed and some of the tenants blamed Rick complaining about the management of the property due to the loss of rental income from the shops the left palm plaza the paw star decided to initiate some extreme vetting in an effort to ensure his future tenants are able to remain in the shopping center and can make the place profitable since Rick and the old man were the ones who originally opened the pawn shop they obviously had more shares in the shop however Corey basically grew up in the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop and started helping out when he was only nine years old over the course of a few years he worked his way up to become the shops manager and after threatening to leave the shop if he didn't receive ownership equity in the company during the sixth season of the show Rick finally relented offering Corey five percent stake in the ownership and big Hoss will eventually take over the business just like his father he now wears 30,000 dollars per episode of the show and also gets paid more than a thousand bucks for personal appearances and clubs around Las Vegas but with only a small stake in the world-famous gillis / pawn shop Corey still earns a lot less than Rick however there is no reason for Corey to worry because according to online sources he still has an estimated net worth of around 4 million dollars as of 2018 Corey and Chumlee have been friends since they were kids and it was only thanks to his best friend that Chumlee got the job in the Harrisons pawn shop but it seems like getting him this job eventually backfired on Corey as his childhood friend kind of upstaged him on the reality show even despite his troubles with the law Chumlee is by far the most popular pop star and more tourists buy his merchandise than that of any of the other three but he wasn't actually casting the show at first as it was originally supposed to be a family gig until the producers decided to look for a fourth cast member while the other employees who missed out on their chance of becoming reality TV stars might have been a little jealous of Chumlee we're pretty sure that Corey doesn't mind being less popular than his best friend every show has an array of Brill's to fulfill to make it more attractive to viewers and Pawn Stars is of course no different however with the old man being the one responsible for teaching some old school truth and funny moments Rick being the master negotiator in history buff and Chumlee being the light-hearted and lovable fool Corey often had to take the role of the quote-unquote villain which surely made him less popular than his co-stars in an interview he admitted that he sometimes feels like he is depicted as the bad guy but also added that he was okay with that he said there has to be the bad guy the the kind of mean one the Rose assured that the show was well rounded and comes to you every week with a fresh dynamic it just wouldn't be fun if everyone was the same even though Corey always seems pretty laid-back on the show there was a time when he got into trouble and lived up to his bad guy image and it might be one of the reasons why he is the least popular and also the poorest cast member these days two years into his fame and fortune he was arrested for obstruction and battery after getting into a shouting match with a guy after a few too many drinks in a bar in Big Bear California a security guard called the police who arrested big Hoss but not before he assaulted both the policeman and the security guard a few years later in 2014 Corey took part in a motorcycle ride sponsored by hot bike magazine when he and his friends decided to stop for a drink in a bar in Jefferson City Missouri big Hoss was reportedly so drunk and obnoxious that he had trouble walking and he was apparently even too drunk to find his way to the bathroom as he eventually relieved himself on a bar stool and then threw the stool across the room before being thrown out himself he later apologized for the incident and it seems like big Hoss has calmed down since and left his Walter days behind if you want to become more popular with your fans or run a successful business scamming your customers in front of the camera is definitely not the way to go however Corey didn't really seem to care about that during season seven when a lawyer came to the shop looking to sell a 15th century samurai sword to Corey big Hoss made him an opening offer of just $800 despite having mentioned be a backroom confessional that he's seen a few of these sell for thousands of dollars seller David had received the sword as collateral and when the client didn't return to claim it he decided to sell it but had no idea what it was worth he stated that he wanted to jump and do a dance at the first offer and eventually more than happily agreed to sell it for $1,500 however an expert later estimated the swords value at around five to six thousand in the condition it was in and stated that it could sell for as much as fifteen thousand should Corey be willing to do a three thousand dollar restoration we bet that David was pretty shocked that the bad deal he made when he later watched the episode Paul Stars premiered on History Channel in July 2009 and only two years later the show had the highest ratings in the network and has maintained that position ever since while it did turn all its cast members into stars some are obviously more popular than others and it seems like quarry is not among the first half with Chumlee being the number one choice for most fans Corey's father Rick definitely comes second and has used his great popularity to make even more money like in 2011 when Rick published a biography titled license to pond deals steals and my life at the gold and silver which became a New York Times best seller according to various online sources Rick now makes around $30,000 per episode of the reality TV show as he is the biggest shareholder and considering that there are anywhere between 25 to 50 plus episodes per season the pawnshop co-owner has a salary of around 1 million dollars per season from the show alone seeing just how many other things Rick has going on it is estimated that as of 2018 his net worth is about 8 to 10 million dollars Rick is not only the biggest shareholder in the pawnshop but he was also the one who first came up with the idea of making a reality show about the business after leaving school and 10th grade to pursue his $2,000 a week business of selling fake Gucci bags Rick co-owned world famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in 1989 and by 2005 he and his father started loaning out about three million dollars annually which translated to approximately $700,000 in terms of interest income after years of us successfully pitching the idea of a reality show about the shop it was finally picked up by The History Channel in 2009 with Rick not only being the creator of the show but also being one of the main stars and one of the producers and many Pawn Stars episodes he obviously makes a lot more money than his co-stars even though Corey is a celebrity now he has managed to keep his private life and his love life to himself for the most part still it became publicly known in 2009 that Corey was married to his high school sweetheart Charlene after enjoying the life of fame and fortune for a few years the two divorced in 2015 however and big Hoss started dating Roxy Gonzalez for a while but the relationship apparently didn't last very long as the PAS star announced that he had married a woman named Kiki in July 2017 while they kept their engagement in wedding private Cory was rather active on social media after announcing that he got married for the second time sharing loving and affectionate posts about his new wife unfortunately big house and Kiki recently announced that they are filing for divorce which took everyone by surprise as Kiki was 8 months pregnant at the time Cory kept most of the details to himself though only giving the following statement Kareena and I love each other very much with our competing work schedules we just weren't able to make the marriage work but remained good friends and want only the best for each other while this was sad news of course it also explains why Cory doesn't have as big a fortune as his co-stars since one wedding in two divorces in just three years must have cost him quite a lot of money thank you for checking this video out and don't forget to
