Why Angie Dickinson regrets doing "Police Woman"

policewoman what did you think when they came to you with the idea of a TV series I thought I would throw up I said oh no way are you kidding no why I mean why did it make you want to throw up because I knew that was a horrendous undertaking yeah and you know nowadays they have six seven and eleven ish episodes for a series we were 21 episodes hour-long hour-long you're the title character though I said I'll give you four years but that's it and and they took the four years but I didn't make much money on them and so I know I really regret it it wasn't worth it do you regret doing the series I regret doing the series really it just sapped we had four years of my life had you not done the series do you think something else better might have happened or maybe who knows you never know so why did you take it David Gerber was the producer and he said don't you want to be a household name and that did it I realized I wanted to be a household name
