Jack was their best drummer. Iβll fight anybody about that. Over the internet of course.
He has a solo album where he covers Shine On You Crazy Diamond with Eddie. Itβs pretty ridiculous and worth a listen if youβve never heard it.

What else did Jack work on, I don't really get into this drummer differentiation thing, but I'm curious. Every album no matter who the drummer was has been awesome
I demand an official release of the legendary 1996 Randall Island show in of the great Jack Irons.
Jack wasnβt my favorite, but heβs part of my favorite period of PJ. So, Happy Birthday Jack!
I always think of Jack as the man who saved Pearl Jam. He was the perfect drummer at the perfect time- like a wise shaman passing through.
Ugh, yes. This song changed my life, as did In My Tree.
Overall I would take Matt Cameron as a drummer / live but I can't help but wonder how different / potentially better their albums would have been if Jack never left.
