Who REALLY Won! KSI vs Tommy Fury Full Fight Breakdown!

ladies and gentlemen KSI versus Tommy Fury a controversial decision win for Tommy Fury unanimously but none of the judges scored the fight the same way KSI saying it's a huge robbery we are going to answer every single one of those questions today in this video we're going to review the scorecard which is suspect for all three judges we're also going to review the comp box numbers landed and we're going to go over some of the fight footage itself specifically focusing on the rounds that it just doesn't really make sense what the judging criteria was how that would have affected the fight at the scorecards what are we actually looking at here as far as the fight goes under no circumstances was this anything other than a Razer close fight but as we look at the judging we have to take a few notes into specific equation here first things first is obviously we know in round two Tommy Fury got a point deducted minus one scoring him only eight points or nine points depending on if he won the round well two of the judges gave the round to Tommy Fury making it a 99 round although when we look at the comp box numbers we see that the punches landed were 7 to4 not much okay I understand that not not super important but the power punches landed were 7 to3 so almost double more than double power punches landed for KSI in that round and when we watched the round we can see KSI clearly with the bigger moments here's a big moment right here boom right hand lands and then Tommy walks into a huge right hand and you see he's hurt there he's buzzed and KSI rips the body with four or five clearly powerful power punches now something that was frustrating about the judging for this fight is it seems like the judges just completely ignored this totally they they don't care at all about the clinch fighting that was happening but if you rewatch just that little clip here KSI is getting leverage with these body shots there there's no two ways about it these are these are thuing body shots on Tommy fury some of these punches are you know a bit behind the head on on the up top there kind of maybe just behind the ear I would say for the most part clean punches but those are in my opinion at least somewhat scoring punches and even if they're not the two big right hands that landed on the entrance way are absolutely scoring punches now the rest of the round it's a bit clinching there's not too too much that goes on but as you can see Tommy Fury only lands three significant punches and KSI absolutely had the bigger moment in that round there's just no question about it so for me that doesn't equate at all for me it should be unanimous that it's 1010 for KSI in the first two rounds he won the first two rounds I I just don't see it any other way there now the same can be said for the next two rounds I think unequivocally we see that Tommy Fury won rounds three and four and that is unanimous on the judges scorecards all three judges scored at 910 Tommy Fury in the rounds three and four and I totally agree with that the compy Box the compy Box stats back it up as well with Tommy Fury Landing 8 to five and then 7 to three in rounds three and four but he also dominated the ring he had the ring dominance very very important to note because those were the keys in those two rounds so again we're all on the same page or so I thought round one and two for KSI round three and four for Tommy Fury now we get into the dicey rounds rounds five and round six these are the rounds were even on the compy box stats razor razor close round five 8 to7 punches landed for for KSI over Tommy Fury round 64 to six punches landed for Tommy Fury instead of KSI some important notes Here Again though power punches a bit closer 7 to5 and 3 to5 all right look at the judges let's look at the judges the judges not unanimous at all here we have one judge giving round six to KSI one judge giving round five to to KSI and then one judge giving both of those rounds to Tommy Fury now this is the scorecard that I can respect on the far right here right this scorecard right here I understand it if we're making the argument for Tommy Fury winning I understand it first two rounds KSI next four rounds for Tommy Fury I get it I can see that being a realistic thing that happened do I agree with it though well let's go over it we have the full fifth round in the flesh here posted by Tommy Fury shout it to him and of course I was there in fact you can hear me in the video that Tommy Fury posted but this is a very very close round however it comes to me at least who had the bigger moments and let's go over it real quick as you can see right off the bat KSI lands a nice right hand and then he lands good three four punches in tight within the clinch dominant clinch work here Landing powerful shots he's getting leverage KSI Tommy Fury doing decently but he's just not getting nearly The Leverage on the shots here KSI definitely wins that clinch exchange and landed a nice big hand on the way in so that's very very important to note right that's an important aspect well here's the problem that exchange happened in the first 20 seconds of the round and as we know judges have shortterm memory they don't like what happened in the first 10 seconds of a round they just forget about it immediately and I will say over the next rest of the round it's a much even more even round as you can see there exchanging right hands between the two get back into clinch work and for the rest of the round we get some decent pressure from Tommy Fury he lands a couple Jabs you know some decent shots of his own KSI still very much so within the round as well neither of them really taking the round away from me in my opinion but the last few seconds of the round Tommy Fury comes forward a little bit lands a few shots nothing crazy in KSI has this nice great combination here slips the jab just barely misses the right uppercut but absolutely Bings that right hand off the forehead of Tommy fury it's even better in this angle right here you can see Tommy Fury comes in case I slips but blasts that right hand off the head of Tommy Fury big powerful Landing shot slips out of the way gets out of the way so in my opinion after reviewing this round multiple times now there's really two ways that I can score it on one hand I give it to KSI that's what I would do personally I thought I saw he just landed the bigger shots specifically at the start of the round I think the first minute he was clearly winning the round and then the rest of the round is a bit ambiguous there's there's no clear winner to me maybe Tommy Fury had a few moments but then KSI finishes strong with a night nice right hand okay let's say let's say it's not a 10-9 round for KSI there well I would give it a 1010 at best for Tommy Fury I can't really give the round to Tommy Fury but I could understand judges giving it a draw which would make this fight a draw and then round six again as we see on the judges super close round two of the judges gave it to Tommy Fury with one of the judges giving it to KSI again super super close round the judges can't agree on it as we see on the copy box numbers you know a difference in punches of two however I will say I saw Tommy Fury bringing the pressure I saw him controlling the ring and I gave the rest of the scoreable features to Tommy Fury as well as he landed more punches so I give that round to Tommy Fury at the end of the day what's that mean well guys if we look at our scorecards here that we just went over if we give KSI round five the fight is 5756 KSI Raz are close but KSI is win if we give round five a draw if we make that a 1010 round which I I've always said that I think there should be more draw rounds in boxing because there's too many rounds where it's just too close well then the fight scored 5757 a draw between these two fighters what I don't like about this fight is the unanimous decision win for Tommy Fury obviously when it was announced it was a majority decision win reviewed the reviewed the judges scorecards the guy couldn't even do math right and apparently he's judging a professional boxing match and so it wasn't a a majority decision it was a unanimous decision and that's something that just doesn't sit right with me if you want to give Tommy Fury the win okay give him the win but it should be a split decision it just shouldn't have been unanimous there should have been more diversity on the judge's scorecards like we see now the thing that really sits wrong with me is two of these guys not one of these guys not some crazy judge here that had some ridiculous scorecard two of these guys score round two for Tommy Fury and I just don't see it at all I don't know where that came from and if that hadn't been the case then two of these judges have the fight going to a draw or to KSI that's that's how it is but no instead we have this weird round two scored for Tommy Fury which completely upset the entire process of the fight now guys here's the thing either way it's it's a razor CL close fight it's a razor razor close fight so I can't sit here and call it a robbery a robbery to me is where one guy put on a fantastic performance totally stun it on his opponents and somehow the judges steal it at the end of the day and it's happened a lot in the sport of boxing this didn't feel like a robbery but it does feel unjust to me that the result was what it was a unanimous decision win on a fight that was 58 to 59 punches literally one punch difference as far as total punches go and none of this fight felt like it was totally going the other way that to me it it just doesn't it doesn't sit right with me because it doesn't tell the story of what actually happened in this fight and I thought it was a personally I thought it was a win for KSI barely and and almost exclusively because of the point deduction but at best I give it a draw at best I give it a draw and that's only after reviewing the fight when I was there live I thought maybe you give the last four rounds to Tommy Fury and so I understand where the judges were coming from or so I thought but after reviewing these scorecards now I don't get it because I just can't understand round two going to Tommy Fury so I just don't get what these guys are seeing like I said even if KSI won this fight again I still think it should have been a split decision win for KSI I didn't think he blew him out of the water so it's it's just one of those frustrating things that is what it is in the sport of boxing KSI unfortunately he's had a couple funny moments recently you know with the forier thing and now this but at the end of the day what does this mean for the future well I actually Lo low ke kind of like it I feel like the big man was looking out for us on this one because ideally now it brings Jake more to the negotiating table than it would have if KSI had won you know now they have they're on the same page they had the same result so they can come to the come to the table negotiate properly no one's the aside no one's this big clear you know bigger contender in the space and they can just make the fight that's all I want to see just make the fight so hopefully hopefully this is a blessing in disguise but at the end of the day good performance from KSI a lot of people are saying it wasn't a good performance because it wasn't some pretty busting boxing masterclass but Tommy Fury was supposed to blow this dude out of the water Tommy Fury was supposed to stop him in the first two rounds and he lost the first two rounds so for me this is actually the almost the best that I could see from KSI here he he performed incredibly in in my opinion at least I mean Tommy Fury landed two to one punches on Jake Paul and he landed one more punch than KSI that that's crazy that's crazy obviously a longer fight than this was but still guys don't forget to check out this amazing standing
