hello guys uh today I have unique opportunity to talk with owner of house I already recorded and you asked me so many questions about him and this house so we decided to make this video you're awesome about them and about uh about this house what we didn't mention so the most popular question is uh are you criminal are you politician are you I don't know yeah yeah I'm a 48 year old sweet and this is my wife who's a 32 year old Filipina we used to live in Sweden and we lived the last five years in the Philippines we got stuck here during cobit I got bored I started with a weekend little house up here and then it got crazy yeah so that's sort of the story uh yeah that's why we're standing here built for yourself yeah yeah that was the thing right we built this to last forever for us because we thought we would be stuck here forever during Corbin and we're after covered yeah so we figured okay we may have better just spill this to last for us forever so yeah and I saw some of the comments a lot of people like you know what about the racer wire the the fencing and Well everybody's in the Philippines basically got walls but most of them are pretty easy to climb over this it's not easy no no and I think the wife I love it I love it yeah and actually in Russia everyone has walls everyone yeah it's just funny because the people we have so many Filipinos listing here and everybody's like oh this is awesome I wish we had this and the few people who don't like it are foreigners who like oh that's you know why do you have that but they usually don't know the security situation yeah but yeah I think when it's uh you can see through wall it's more secure because dogs can see yeah yeah you already saw Batman oh yeah yeah this is my guy train them since it was a packed so yes we're not we're not criminals I'm an entrepreneur slash angel investor uh we got five kids my wife she's probably not a criminal really checked the background but you've been married for you I'm gonna work it right for family reasons moving to Sweden uh we got five kids I have a mom who's 83. I got a brother there yeah for many reasons we we don't want to live with the five kids here sort of in a nice little spot up in the Filipino jungle anymore yeah can travel yeah well it's not really isolated because you're just like 10 minutes from the town but yeah well it's actually less to download it's just fine but but uh I mean the kids cannot walk over to the friends because there's like no neighborhood you saw the other video right it's like it's very peaceful but there aren't a million kids running around outside yeah every place has its own good sides and yeah yeah exactly yeah what is good for retirement house yeah not good for kids yeah no no I mean the kids like the tennis court the pool and everything but you know it's not that they have friends just around the corner so that's one issue yeah yeah I got some comments like uh people thought maybe it's not secure now in the Philippines what do you think about it we don't feel that there's any concrete threats I mean there was the shooting that most people know about a few months about but but it was politicians yeah it was politicians it's usually stay away from politics and um stay away from politics and don't sell drugs don't deal drugs so here is one of the reasons we are moving to Sweden one of the five main reasons the youngest of them they're so cute she's cute well Alex is a nice guy oh one of the other reasons we're going to Sweden this is oh nice to meet you and my son he's over there no Mortal Kombat Scott he's busy yeah I'm such a good role model I let my six-year-old play with bloody fighting game so yeah I'll go through I saw some comments that you can easily you can't really cut this easily it's a 4M um uh opted galvanized you can't really fit a um normal wait let's show let's show yeah a little demonstration yeah uh you can't get in see yeah so you need a grinder a grinder would cut this pretty easily I think right yeah but it will make a lot of noise it's not that easy you know um and up here of course you can always get over if you're really motivated but it's not it's not easy is it electricity here no no no some people ask just uh but this is good barbed wire I didn't buy it locally the local stuff it's the rusty three months this is hot tip I have a galvanized too it's probably not going to rest for you know many many years yeah and where did you buy this imported from from China from China so uh it's called 358 security and pipeline fence it's what they use for food restaurants and airports yeah but they use it for a reason yeah yeah they do I mean it's you can't see you can't put your fingers in here and so of course you could always grind through you know but that would be noisy okay so so this is just to show an example right these are two glass samples that I got from the supplier that I was planning to do in Demolition Ranch thing with uh just sort of shoot them and see what they hold up to this is bulletproof 9mm plus and this is what we have in the rest of the house it's a double uh double thick like Justin said the laminated so all glass all doors have this it's pretty hard to get through but it's probably not bulletproof this one is this is what we have down in the basement next question was about you yeah it's really very popular question people want to know how you make your fortune all right it's not a fortune I'm not poor but I'm not like a billionaire or anything but for Filipino people you really okay okay so uh I am an entrepreneur I started a company in 2011. I sold things on Amazon I lived in China a few years the company grew eventually I sold it and I started doing Angel investments in 2000 15 I've been doing that since it's gone up and down some Investments terrible some better than others yeah okay how do you think is it still uh interesting Niche like Amazon and all e-commerce uh I haven't done it now for some years so I wouldn't be the best person to answer maybe but I think it's way more competitive than when I started when I started it was a pretty easy you just had to make less mistakes than all the others now everybody's an expert sort of oh yeah do you have any uh suggestion or I don't know any advice for people who want to start his its own career somewhere like a business yeah just try try and fail and try again and fail better keep doing that eventually goes well yeah that's what I did like Elon Musk said try to make as much mistakes as you can yeah exactly you learn from them yeah learn from them make the best advice yeah yeah just don't repeat the mistakes good boy yeah so cool these guys Robin's the best sport on the airport for everybody so tennis Sports um most reviews probably don't care but I spend a lot of time on energy plan in this one actually it's a nice little competition standards so the lights are 300 watt LEDs eight of them and we did all the math on the what's it called the uniformity and the illuminations it's got 300 Lux average everywhere uh good uniformity suitable great I have bad eyes but I can still play at night so uh yeah and the court was uh laid by a professional who also did the Olympics three times um oh I found him randomly an Australian guy cool and that's top of the line it's not gonna break for many years at all and that's the same thing imported uh the amperature and the the two what do they call the two seats say um Justin said that they were I think he said they were important they're not they're custom made here uh stainless and the mahogany yeah another important detail is that you can use this tennis court for building something else yeah yeah exactly right yeah so this slab underneath the artificial grass here it's a six inch double matting rebar that we also put fibrin and the Sahara in to make it waterproof and it's uh we were there during the whole process made sure I didn't cheat with the water oh that's it's well built yeah so you could probably use this as a foundation for something else if you don't like tennis yeah it's up to you maybe a gym maybe another house yeah or um easily pad or yeah is it all a lot inside of wall or you have extra yeah good question a few hundred meters a few hundred square meters or outside where we were standing earlier looking down at the creek because we have a little bit of land that extends on the other side of the creek so we didn't want to fence that because you're not allowed to Fan secret in the Philippines so so the the fenced area is 5400 maybe and we have like two 300 meters outside this is just to show how stupid I was during covered when I got bored so what you see here it's uh it was for a few months a dog doggy pool oh no this is this area is off limits for dogs because we got a bunch of chicken and goats and uh so it's yeah it's obviously not being used anymore but that's how bored I was I actually built a pool for my dogs there are quite a few things that I built here that we don't use that much that sort of a waste of money at least for me but a few things we use a lot so you know it is for this now we're in the garage which um yeah it's a huge yeah it's a 90 great it's still missing doors in Windows so the the reason I built this was to um I wanted a workshop something where I could just build stuff um and we thought we were going to be here forever so I overdid this garage I think it's 140 square meters yeah yeah exactly yeah but then we decided we're not going to labor so I stopped construction but you know there's not much left to finish with really yeah like Windows Doors yeah and we actually have The Windlass City more high-end windows same glass same sort of stainless steel yeah if you can tell this is pretty heavy out one of these probably weighs between 50 and 100 kilos one of these panels wow I'm not sure I'm not that strong yeah it cost a lot to transport it here yeah yeah I see not as much as you would think so I mean we're talking about 10 metrics tons of fencing I think that we have sitting here get there with the light and the solar panel yeah so that's a custom-made stainless steel bracket we made for uh individual solar lights that we have all around the perimeter of the property oh so even if the solar doesn't work and then the record goes out and everything we still have these individual lights about 16 of them around the whole property yeah it's interesting yeah in here Alex if you look here you see the biggest construction we ever did I think if you look that direction if it's useful on camera yeah so this retaining all uh yeah we spent ridiculous amounts of money on it I I would never start it if I had known how much we would spend the last name so I even cannot uh imagine how many concrete yeah yeah ridiculous amounts to be sure uh so this is a dried out Creek that we're looking at here uh it has water about twice every year or something like that when it rains really heavily well we have we had to lift this whole area right because otherwise we will be down there and we couldn't build stuff and couldn't contain it but this is this is what we're doing it's for sure it's just well it's done yeah it definitely should be mentioned yeah yeah oh it's really safe right I mean over there it's like about 10 meters so here we have a 45 000 liter uh underground water tank builds like a bike with that one too and the main water supply for us is we we do have barangay water like communal water whatever you call it but it's not really reliable so we got our own instance we have a long pipe going to the river over there it's not reliable because of quality or because of consistency I would say both but mainly because it's just it just cuts off too much you know the pressure isn't good enough for it's pretty common in the Philippines I'd say yeah so so we have the long pipe to the river and that's one's worked well we had it uninterrupted now for the last six months I think we also have the option to get water from the rain from the rain yeah yeah which we haven't used much at all because the rivers have been reliable so those three sources are possible so you have 45 000 liters on the ground you have about 2 000 liters here here or maybe two thousand yeah and then we got three thousand up there oh so it's five thousand up there and 45 000 down here pumping up water from the tank up to there uh one of them is not being used one is just backed up if in case the other one should break because pumps do break something yeah yeah so that's why there are two and they're automatic as soon as the level goes down up there they start pumping so this house over built in many ways yeah not only in construction yeah everything and here's a stupid thing you might want to just mention it for fun I built this for the kids but this is one of those things where it's like the kids don't really want it so it doesn't really have an entry at all so you can't really get to it so you can buy not two but three houses that can't be empty well you could climb up I guess yeah it's nice actually but it might fall down within one or two years because you know it's been there for a while and this is bamboo so yeah I don't know don't press it here we go you can turn on the lights so here you have you have four Lithium-ion batteries each one 5.8 or 5.9 kilowatt hours you've got two inverters over there solex you get two inverters over here two away or how you pronounce that yeah you're correct yeah so total of around 23 24 kilowatt hours of battery uh reserved for brownouts stuff like that it happens yeah is it enough for how long it depends on how how much you use AC if you use the big AC all night the batteries will run out so it's more for you know three juice freezers lights kind of like emergency yeah exactly yeah we had one month without any external power and we made it work fine but we didn't use the AC at night so yeah nine air cons seven smaller ones and two of these the biggest ones you can get that are wall mounted Panasonic three horsepower ones uh we've got the individual ones for each room instead of a big one covering the whole building the reason we got that was it's interesting yeah so why did we get that instead of the big ones well because we wanted to be a bit economical and not cool down rooms that we're not using yeah now though that we have good solar I guess we didn't really need to be economical because our electricity bill right now it's negative oh so we don't pay anything they give it as a credit that we can use next month okay so we don't get money from them and how much money you average uh got to your credit well I mean we started with this net metering thing a few months ago and our first bill was minus four thousand the second bill was minus six then I was like Oh and before that our bills were between 19 and 27 000 that we had to pay so you paid about 500 per month and now you have economy about hundred dollars more than you yeah but again I don't get money from them yeah yeah yeah but yeah yeah yeah exactly yeah so we're at a surplus now or whatever you call it and the reason is because we have a 18 kilowatts up there yeah we don't use stuff I mean we use a lot we have the AC on upstairs constantly but it's still not enough to yeah yeah I overdid the solar system too so here is the here are the pool controls um yeah pool pump on the the filtration pump and this and now I turn this on here we have the foreign yeah quiet and smooth yeah and this door I think it's probably I don't know 100 kilos yeah yeah it's pretty heavy you would be seriously hurt you could put your finger now yeah and it's double eliminated yeah yeah just like the glass and in here all the furniture is included here's just like a detail this is what do you call this a cuckoo but it's made it costs a fortune we haven't used it much so it's basically new um yeah how much does it cost to be honest I don't remember I think it was more than 100 Maybe I'm Wrong maybe it was only 80 but it's still a lot of money for one of these yeah still a lot about 100 yeah yeah so that's cool yeah this map got it from Kickstarter Ukrainian company uh it's pretty cool it's attached to the wall so I guess it's staying well I guess everything's staying yeah this needs to be mentioned though because Justin made such a big deal out of this land so this is basically a relatively cheap IKEA lamp from Sweden uh I think it's maybe 70 dollars or something it's one of the cheapest items we have here yeah but Justin really liked it so yeah we spent a lot of time to find the cheapest one exactly yeah okay so this is just a funny thing you can actually turn on the tennis lights from here uh and you can also do this if you hear this [Music] so yeah so let's see somebody's outside okay or somebody's inside which is gonna happen then you can scare them off by doing this yeah in reality though we never used it uh but I do use it every day when I want breakfast so wake up and I go ring this like this and then the staff know that they or to make my breakfast yeah it's good so that's it you have personal chef here yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah of course we have one of these bottles upstairs and one of them downstairs the this was also support that this is some German grow hey Brand I don't know even here it's double glossy yeah even this one not really needed but yeah you got insulation like European style insulation on the hardiflex in a roof inner ceiling I don't know if you can see anything now yeah you can see oh yeah okay it works great much better than expected so we always have hot water this one retains the heat for a long time and it gets heated by the Sun and even if you have a few rainy days it still stays hot so none of these electrical heaters and uh we don't need those and here is there over there sorry Sterling yeah the Elon Musk internet it works pretty well if you have any issues with Sterling cuts off every now and then but it's not a lot and it's super fast when it works but we do have backup internet too so we have two more internets that we use of course and then small details like you know you see the antenna here up here yeah uh uh so there's the fixture for this one stainless rod and then you have real cables instead of the GI wire that they always use for antennas here this one will not come down ever I think greens very common custom-made stainless steel cover that ensures that you don't get a bunch of crap down here so we never have to declog this anymore um just a detail instead of this yeah cool here we have ventilation you have not really yeah yeah no this is the ventilation for the the sander or the shooting range or whatever you want it to be so in and out to a big big pumps these blow like crazy when it's turned on about four minutes for whole uh yes the whole area in the shooting range all the air gets changed in four minutes yeah and we can mention that you can use this shooting range as a bunker so you can protect yourself from typhoons if you yeah or zombies if you're scared of them yeah but I'm pretty sure that any house here will uh will stand off yeah I think yeah we had a serious typhoon the category five uh one and a half years ago yeah yeah and the only thing that happened was so you know a flower pot that fell over that was it yeah because here so a lot of Steel a lot of concrete so what we did we did tie the native houses down with rope because we have a few of those native things by the pool right I was afraid that one would blow away so we'll fight it down with rope okay good yeah and here is also outside shower and outside um bathrooms for like for the tennis players or the but uh shower yeah walk through too hey Batman walk through to the nanny area yeah cool yeah it's one of those details I guess yep what is it oh this is just a drainage but just to show you the amount of attention we put into the details you know this is stainless handle and yeah it looks pretty nice this whole thing oops now I shipped it so everything here is protected everything I accept the screws yeah maybe I think I exchanged every screw that was to make it stainless one there are probably a few exceptions but yeah that's a general thing yeah it's it's good work really mostly impressive yeah next question is can foreigners own firearms yeah no it's a very clear answer no no way in the world but if you have one of these then she can own yeah she can own house Chicken on lunch you can own coffee yeah so that's my dear wife here she's actually the owner of all this stuff yeah actually you saw owner on the video so she's the boss so if you ask about the fencing and stuff that's my wife's orders actually she said make sure I feel safe yeah and I do I feel safe do you have license for yes having them yes I spend hours and days in Cebu City just to get my yes oh yeah but it can be done it's doable what if you're a foreigner so if you have a Filipino wife then force her to get one we're a Filipino husband yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah thank you for this detail okay John what was the hardest part of building this house for you uh I don't know all the details I guess it wasn't hard I enjoyed it but you know it imported a bunch of stuff here's just an example just a hammock can't get it here it's a 650 Fatboy hammock I got it from the US 650 for hammock yeah and then the shipping on top of that oh it's probably way more than that but yeah but it's a really nice helmet it comes with that yeah I can see your own home gym here cool yeah [Music] so Justin said that the sheets for custom not really correct it's a mattress uh this is an 80 000 peso mattress from Europe custom made for this bed 240 wide 210 long the mattress which is huge yeah it's huge um I even don't know in which direction you should lay like it's like this all like this it's good though because when you have a bunch of kids you know they can also fit when they're sick yeah cool and this is just a funny detail s so I hate when breaks right look at this it's yeah I mean it's overdoing it you know but yeah I can hang in this these are stainless steel custom made a welded curtain rod holders which is pretty insane yeah overdoing it Deluxe so oh yeah yeah no I hate when you don't have electricity yeah yeah so put them up high and down low and in all sorts of places yeah that's cool you may you can make this whole area of uh balcony yeah yep then it all opens up like yeah I bet it's amazing during the rain yeah yeah it is during the rain I love it and during the whole winter I guess we have this open all the time when it's a bit cooler so John let's talk about price yeah yeah okay so we're asking 65 it's basically what we put into it yeah it's one million two hundred thousand dollars yeah yeah depends on currency but all I should say is that we are moving we will be moving to Sweden and we don't want to own a place in the Philippines that's going to be empty when we move so this is highly negotiable that should be mentioned so we're open to office guys and we have special offer for you for I don't know how long yeah I don't know how long either let's say two months two months within two months if you buy the house you you get a car uh with a purchase yeah new car really cool bonus to buy a house and get a car it's not a hat I have to clear this with my wife though it's her car but yeah okay yeah I don't know she should be in yeah yeah cool yeah guys thank you for watching and um John will uh read your questions yeah so you can ask directly questions and uh yeah see you in next videos thank you thank you guys yeah bye bye
