White Stallion Ranch Movie

hey guys what do you feel like name tonight it's just so much to do here I hear there's a good movie playing in the theater nice game we want to do now I hear there's a good movie over the theater let's go check it out I know where where's um other wage salary ranch yeah I saw around 8:00 in the middle of the road have you ridden horses before no well you seem nervous or scared yeah what's the best thing about white Sally ranch that like there's lots of nice people there like we'd do like a shower would you recommend this ranch to your friends back home yeah I think I think they'd love it we've been here at white stallion range since 1965 my two sons David and Steven are the third generation both involved with the ranch our parents are gone now but we had the great good fortune thanks to our parents have growing up here the ranch started out in 1900 is the cattle ranch like many dude ranches do in 1940 guests were at it and and we came of course 25 years later we've been here ever since and we kind of get the idea that while it's all about horses and and hats and hospitality as the dude ranchers association says and authenticity is is our guiding light people still cowboys at the end of the day they they would like a bed instead of a bed roll and they like a good bed instead of a bad bed nice rooms good beds hot showers nice amenities but we also have a nice pool hot tub sauna game room pool room tennis court court movie theater so when you're not riding horses and I must say most of our guests spend a good share their day doing it some don't they just enjoy this Arizona Sun all our amenities are evening entertainment it varies from cowboy sing around the bonfire can't do without that to our reptile show to our astronomy program to our cowboy entertainer Lupron she's just amazing rope tricks gun twirling whip crack really to line dancing and everything in between we don't know who you are that just doesn't work so we have to know who every guest is we know who they ride we you know we we have long histories of some of them we have family here right now they've been missing for 20 years daddy or the second generation and me grew up together and now he's here with his kids it's just so exciting to see those kinds of situations we came in 1977 by accident because we were trying to find a dude ranch they were all full and they all recommended the white stallion as the second choice you feel extremely well welcome and if you have a fear or concern or whatever they really make you at home and comfortable we're making it an annual event it's a lot of fun for everyone we really enjoy the ranch that people here are outstanding very accommodating and it's we kind of feel like we're part of the family here with these folks you don't need to leave the ranch we stay for one week each year and over spring break for the kids and it's it's just a great great way to spend a family outing and all-inclusive vacation I used to be a horse wrangler Mount Ranier and go and then in the war - I was with the 10th Mountain Division and we had mules to ride in pack for the infantry and we fought in Italy do you plan to go riding on this vacation I'd like to see if I still fit in the saddle a I hadn't done much horseback riding and I like horseback riding I've done it like once what did you think when you first got on the horse here I thought it was cool how you could actually control your own horse and it's it's cool to have control yesterday my favorite thing that I did was either the lesson of team penning you got on a team with three other people who are all on horses and you charge and you go then you run at these cattle and you try to push them into a pen and it's and yeah you can go pretty fast there's always something going on always some activity fun for the kids is fun both friends in fact we're trying to make reservations now so that we'll have some place to come back next year we take all kinds of guests right now in the spring and and the the holiday times we take a lot of families our main focus is riding so people come from all over to come either because they're riders they want to experience a new part of the country or a new style of riding or because they just sounds interesting and they want to learn to ride so we've gotten so half our horses are pretty set for advanced riders and then the other half are pretty good for teaching someone to ride and I mean despite riding we've got plenty of hiking and biking and we've got a pool and tennis and all that good stuff as well three times a week Monday Wednesday Friday we do team penning so you'll go into the arena with your team of three others and you'll have a herd of cattle and you have to go separate three out and move them around to a separate pen and it's timed there aren't any prizes but it's still competitive enough to be fun so that's definitely our most popular ride thank you I
