Which is the BEST 1/12 Into the Spider-Verse Miles Morales Figure??? (ML vs. Mafex vs. Sentinel)

good day mangato this is tall fry and today i'm bringing you a figure comparison as you can tell from the title we'll be comparing the most notable 112 scale action figures of miles morales from the into the spider verse movie this will be a fatal three-way match yes fatal three-way where whoever ends up winning in the most categories will be declared the winner in corner 1 the marvel legends miles corner 2 the mafix miles and lastly in corner 3 the sentinel miles without further ado let's begin all three figures come with a jacket and shorts look but only two of them give you the option to take those clothes off to reveal a fully spray painted spider-man suit the marvel legends version isn't half bad with the fair amount of sculpted and wrinkles and web lines it is also the only one that has the hoodie and jacket as two separate pieces however mafix may seem to have the upper hand as it is the one with the most screen accurate body proportions more vibrant jacket colors and is the only one with soft goods until you realize that those soft goods look quite baggy on a figure this small and are very prone to the wire popping out the thin frame of the mafix version also makes it scary to play with the sentinel on the other hand has a hard plastic jacket which may not be as playable as the wired mafex jacket but can always look good in an action pose upon stripping them down to their spidey suits the sentinel seems to have a thicker more muscular build compared to the mafix while that does make it seem slightly off-putting in some areas like the hips and neck the sentinel sculpt perfectly balances the playability and screen accuracy of the figure even zooming in on the finer details the sentinel nails the suit's execution with its matte finish better paint apps and my personal favorite the sculpted in s pattern all over the body this round goes to sentinel miles with it being the cheapest figure it'd be safe to say that the marvel legends figure isn't winning here it is still possible to make it look good in spider-man like poses but the single jointed elbows non-movable neck and lack of butterfly joints leave a lot to be desired meanwhile the mafix and sentinel versions are dang near perfect when it comes to articulation on a spidey figure for the unjacketed look they're actually very similar with some points having more range on the mafix others on the sentinel the standout difference between the two is the sentinel's lack of wrist hinge which sacrifices mobility or durability for the unjacketed looks the main facts seem to have a superior upper body as it retains basically all of its original articulation points since the jacket is soft goods meanwhile the sentinel will inevitably suffer from hindered not bad but hindered articulation due to the jacket being a hard plastic things get switched around when we talk about the lower bodies the mafix's cloth shorts unfortunately restrict the leg movement while the sentinel's rubber shorts allow for quite possibly the greatest leg articulation ever seen on a spider-man figure even the sentinels not jordans has an extra point of articulation compared to the mafix version so with the sentinel getting the lower body and the mayfax getting the upper body it all boils down to who has the best unjacketed articulation and while it is a close call i counted slightly more on the mafix version but while that may be the case the sentinel has the more durable joints the right knee on my mafix one is curved and wants to detach from the socket while the sentinel one knows no such weakness the mafix may achieve slightly more of the poses you want but none of that will matter if you're clenching your cheeks while doing it the sentinel serves more than enough range of movement and won't have you worrying about breaks or snaps even after tons of posing sessions it's a second round win for the sentinel figure now we're getting to the good stuff the marvel legends comes with an alternate unmasked head and an alternate pair of swipping hands an okay amount but ideally a spider-man figure should have at least punching flipping and wall-crawling hands or if the designers are feeling generous some web grabbing hands with the web too all of those and more come with the other two figures though is it even fair to include the retail figure on here they both have several alternate parts with the unique ones being the mafix's magnetic hands and feet and the sentinel spray can holding hand for heads they both have unmasked heads and alternate expression masked heads with the mafix going for and the sentinel going for but the mavex also comes with a mask up head holdable mask and four more detachable webs than the sentinel offering with that being said the sentinel has some tricks up its sleeve too giving us the spider-ham mallet headphones phone and detachable shoelaces taking a look at each of the unmasked head sculpts the sentinel wins it for me it's the one that replicates the animated look the best so personally i'd give this round to the sentinel miles but i can also see the appeal in mapex's batch of accessories in this case it's about personal preference if you want quantity like more heads webs and magnets go for the mapex if you prefer versatility laces mallet and electronics go for the sentinel for size comparisons the marvel legend stands the tallest among them with the other two being more similar in height i don't have the marvel legends mayfix or sentinel peter b parker so it'd be quite hard to judge their heights so i'm gonna give them all a point because i think they scale well with their respective lines they all look small thin teenagery which is good in my book oh and if you thought the heads could be swapped between figures then sorry to disappoint it won't work [Music] marvel legends is the cheapest since it is a retail figure and the price hasn't gone up like crazy after release it sits at a comfortable price range of around 900 to 1100 pesos depending on the condition the mafix version continues to decrease in price at around 3 000 pesos if unopened and is widely available at least in my country to the point that people are actually having a hard time selling theirs hmm i wonder why the sentinel is the priciest at around 3500 to 4500 pesos and is also the hardest to get since barely any people seem to want to sell theirs luckily there is a reissue coming this december for those who want to get their hands on the figure all things considered i can confidently say that you'll get the most bang for your buck with the sentinel figure it just goes to show that the high quantity and higher quality come at a higher cost it's up to you if you're willing to pay for it real quick before i range you can hardly ever expect it to be the best version of a character still it does get the job done if you want a decent miles release the mafix is better and comes with a lot but is plagued with several issues that can make it quite stressful to play with if you're unlucky the sentinel stands out as being the most fun version of the into the spider-verse miles character and 112 scale with its
