so I surveyed over 6 000 people to see which Five Nights at Freddy's games are the most popular men which are downright hated let's check it out after several years from the initial release of the original Five Nights at Freddy's we've gotten numerous sequels spin-offs and spin-offs of spin-offs with different locations genres of gameplay and of course different levels of quality control so in this video after surveying 6008 people we will be taking a look at the statistical scientific answer to the age-old question of which math games are the best and worst unlike my previous video on cuphead bosses this time the survey was a lot more straightforward with each participant just giving a simple rating from 1 to 10 for each game in the series that they have played based on anything they experience from gameplay to lore to just general satisfaction and everything in between and in case you missed this survey head on over to the link in the description where you can take part in the next one oh yeah I also got my pal astral spiff with me today so be sure to say hi to him down in the comments and let us know what should be voted on next anyways with all that said Boop that like button below let's see which FNAF games are considered the best and worst among the masses alright so kicking off the list at the absolute bottom of the barrel we got the second newest entry in the series as I make this video security breach Fury's Rage which got the lowest average score of just 3.89 to get a clear picture of just how unfavored this game is nearly 1100 voters gave it a score of 1 out of 10 and only 145 gave it a perfect score it shouldn't be too surprising to see this game not favored as much as the rest considering it's a spin-off title made in the genre of a 2d beat em Up game although I don't agree with people thinking it's a 1 out of 10 worst game ever it is pretty short and slightly repetitive but that's kinda to be expected of a spin-off title that was quickly developed by Scott cawthon solely as a sort of apology for having snap security breach's release date delayed this was also the game that was played by the fewest number of people who took the survey I'm one of those as well when I did my all FNAF games Marathon I didn't even consider this game because I completely forgot that it existed not a horrible game but compared to some of the others I can see why it's the lowest ranked here one game that I'm surprised that ranked higher than Fury's rage is the next one naf's special delivery the AR mobile game that comes in at number 12 with an average score of just barely missing the four Mark at 3.94 now personally I've never played this game before as it never struck me as my cup of tea and I'm not much of a mobile gamer in general so I don't have anything really to say about it myself but despite its 4.4 star reviews on the Google Play Store from what I've heard it has all the mobile game monetization practices that you'd assume that it has yeah the first time I downloaded AR I had no idea what I was getting into so when I opened it on my phone in bed I was a little disappointed to see that I had to move around to make it work and I went absolutely nowhere with it this would be the bottom for me and yeah it basically just has you pointing your phone camera around a given area making you look completely normal it's again quite a departure from the other game so to me it's not really surprising to see it ranking this low up next at number 11 is big surprise yet another spin-off and this time this is actually a sequel to a mini game that was first introduced in another spin-off Naf world where there Freddy and Space 1 can be played as FNAF 57 makes sense great I'm not sure there were many people that were clamoring for a sequel to that 2D Metroid style shooter but if you're a big fan of those games then you might like this one but it looks like there aren't very many of those people as Freddy in Space 2 got a score of only 4.09 with 1134 out of 4430 voters giving it a one out of 10. this is the most 1 out of 10 scores given to any game here in fact just about half the voters gave this game a score of three or less ouch just like the rest of the game so far Freddie in Space 2 is another big departure from the rest of the mainline series and much like Fury's rage it certainly is another experimental game that Scott cawthon had whipped up seemingly as a passion project that said I think it's still a fun little game if you're a fan of this genre of games now up to the top 10 stepping away from spin-offs we have our first main series entry here with Five Nights at Freddy's the third it's the game most people consider to have the weakest gameplay and this game is apparently the definition of mid by the fan base as it's scored an almost perfect middle score with an average rating of 5.09 out of 10. I myself am also not a huge fan of this game and that may certainly be a skill issue but I just found it pretty overwhelming with all the stuff that you have to do and having to reset the ventilation and not being able to actually close the door to the office and the Phantom jump scares and yeah but on the flip side I've also seen many people claim that this game is too easy Once you figure out the methods to keep spring trap trapped in the vents there's also only one animatronic in this game that's actually a threat and no extra custom nights after you beat the game normally and those alone may make this game less appealing than many of the others especially following the absolute bangers that were the first two games in the series up next is the latest release in the series as of the making of this video FNAF security breach which got an average score of 5.7 out of 10. and while FNAF 3 had a much nicer curve with most voting in the middle of the pack security breach appears to be much more polarizing with a weird looking curve and almost the same amount of people thinking it's one out of 10 trash as there are people thinking it's a 10 out of 10 Masterpiece this could be for a few reasons but if you've been around since the game came out you'll know that the game is Infamous for being littered with millions of glitches so many that one of the only challenge runs I've never done is beating the game without a glitch it's wild many fans were also disappointed with the story lack of character development absolute truckload of content that went unused as I've covered in my videos as well as all of the changes to the game that were observed when comparing it to some of the pre-release trailers all this coupled with how long fans were waiting for this game to release appears to have been a recipe for disappointment for many now personally I really enjoy this game and although some of the bugs were incredibly frustrating it's probably some of the most fun that I've had playing a FNAF game it's certainly not as scary as some of the other FNAF games and that's kind of to be expected as we're now in a functioning Pizza Plex and not a rundown Pizzeria this time which obviously some fans of the series may not enjoy but I thought the Aesthetics and setting of this game were awesome anyways yeah at this point you can probably see why this game is so polarizing and it seems like that at any time if you were to ask any random fan of the FNAF series there's basically an equal chance that they'll give you any rating from 1 to 10. well except two apparently for whatever reason two out of 10 just wasn't as popular moving on the next two games are almost tied but just lower than the next one at number eight with an average score of 5.85 is FNAF world now if you're unfamiliar with SNAP World basically instead of being a point-and-click horror game as every other game in the series was up until this point this game took a major pivot and was instead a FNAF themed RPG you start the game with a party of eight animatronics from the first two games in the series and then you explore the world to recruit new Pals fight a bunch of wacky enemies collect various items as well as uncover a plethora of secrets in the Overworld some of which allow you to beat the game pretty quickly as I've covered not too long ago in another video when this game first released it wasn't met with much enthusiasm from the general Community but I think and it seems like it's grown on many people I can still understand why some don't like it as much just for it not being like the main games but honestly personally I think the game is a good time I gave FNAF World a 10. it deserves a 10. next right in the middle of the pack at number seven just barely squeaking past FNAF world is Five Nights at Freddy's 4 with an average score of 5.86 often considered to be one of the scariest entries in the FNAF series it shakes up the standard idea of being a security guard at a creepy Pizzeria overnight to now taking control of a kid unable to sleep as there's an onslaught of spooky teeth filled monsters coming from the hallways closet and even on your own bed although the FNAF Series has always had an element of the player being able to use audio cues to help survive the night FNAF 4 basically requires it as you have to listen very carefully at the hallway doors to hear if the nightmare animatronics are still behind them or not and F4 also introduced the hallway minigame where you have to try and catch plushtrap with your flashlight on the X marked on the floor I think the atmosphere in FNAF 4 is really cool and although it was interesting to see a departure from the series Norm of using security cameras and such I can't say I'm all too much of a fan of this game's mechanics myself then following FNAF 4 is the next main installment in the series 2016's FNAF sister location just missing the six Mark with a score of 5.95 innovating with the series yet again instead of doing the same task all five nights this next installment actually has the player doing something different throughout the week this includes holding doors closed from a bunch of baby animatronics administering controlled shocks and even some more traditional stuff what was also cool is that this game introduced a bit of free roaming mechanics instead of just being stuck in one spot doing a task with a greater Variety in gameplay and this game expanding even more on the series lore it's no surprise that we see a lot more eights and nines with this one I can't believe sister location beat FNAF world I'm so disappointed now cracking the top five FNAF games as voted by the fans at number five with a score of 6.52 is Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria simulator what seemingly started as yet another spin-off title in the style of a retro game this time eventually was revealed to be the sixth main entry in the series unlike the previous few games on this list where the curve was more flat here we can definitely start seeing much more votes of seven or higher skewing the curve to the right side now this is probably the FNAF game I have the least experience with so I'll let spiff here give his thoughts on why he thinks fans voted the way that they did the top five games on this list are here because they represent huge moments for the FNAF series and many fans would have a hard time choosing how to order them Pizza Sim is last of these five by small margins probably edged out because its Knights are kind of butt cheeks they are I absolutely adore the daytime mini-games but they don't bring the spooky scary moments that most FNAF fans look for we all know what makes this game iconic for your average FNAF fan it's not the clown it's insert start of connection terminated this is without much argument the best ending in the series and a really amazing way to wrap up the story up until that point with the majority of FNAF fans especially when this game released not actually playing the games but instead watching playthroughs and theories they sat in awe of this game and it was without a doubt cemented for them as one of the best then once again just barely surpassing Pizzeria simulator that number four is ultimate custom night with an average score of 6.53 now with this game you get exactly what's given in the title you set up your custom night of Fairly traditional FNAF gameplay and make it as ultimate as you'd like featuring 50 or 56 different animatronics spanning the various games throughout the series The Game's kinda like a love letter to fans of this series and it lets anyone play because you can just set it up however you'd like want just the original four no problem want every character in the game at max level you got it want just trash in the gang and Rockstar foxy sure having all 50 characters maxed out also introduced the 50 20 mode where the challenge is to survive the whole four and a half minutes which is easier said than done my best so far is like three seconds and I guess this game did something right as over one in four voters considered this game to be either a 9 out of 10 or a 10 out of 10 experience and now coming up to the top three voted snap games the next two are once again really close with SNAP 2 taking up the third spot coming off the heels of The Sensational release of the first game FNAF 2 had a lot to live up to and that I think it certainly did although sort of similar to the first game FNAF 2 introduced a few new mechanics including the need to wind up a music box a main Center hallway and of course the game removed the closable door safety net from FNAF 1 as you now had to deal with events that you could only shine a light on and your only defense is putting on a Freddy mask to disguise herself should an animatronic break in additionally although that first disappeared to be a chronological sequel to the first game it was eventually revealed that FNAF 2 was a prequel to the first game taking place about six years before the events of FNAF 1. the first FNAF game was already a success but number two basically assured that the series still had much to give and it really got people excited about the story there was a surprising number of four votes and I assume that has something to do with how similar the game was to the first not really doing a ton of things new it was exciting because it represented the future of the series but overall kind of just a meh game and just barely surpassing FNAF 2 with a score of 6.64 is the game that started it all though it may not be the most technically or mechanically impressive I'm sure many fans have a soft spot for the first game in the series I'm also sure you're all familiar with how this game works there are four main animatronics that roam around the Pizzeria and you got yourself a set of security cameras and two doors and two lights with a limited power supply to use to protect yourself through to 6 am it's simple yet engaging gameplay just seems to click with many fans and of course this game opened up the lore of the series that's still being solved many years later I'm honestly surprised number one didn't win because it's obviously the most important but once you figure out the gameplay it does get fairly monotonous so I understand some of the low votes it's absolutely wild to think that it was almost 10 years ago that this game took the Internet by storm with a lasting impact that's still going strong even to this day and finally now closing out the list at the number one most popular and enjoyed Five Nights at Freddy's game we're left with FNAF help wanted and this game got by far the most nines and tens out of 10 resulting in a final score just shy of seven at 6.98 out of 10. that's quite the trend line we got going on here too originally released as exclusively a VR game with more traditional non-vr play added eventually the game's essentially a greatest hits of the series so far featuring not only various mechanics from prior games but also quite a few new ones as well it's really God at all and the variety in the 40 playable games is unmatched in any other game in this series and for Marathon runs it's by far the game with the most content taking way longer to beat start to finish than any other of the games and if all that wasn't enough there's also extra DLC that was released for this game the Halloween themed curse of dread bear which added yet another 10 more new mini games to help wanted although I've personally never played the game in VR but I can only imagine how much it improves the immersion with this game but even in the non-vr flat mode I think this game truly is the ultimate celebration of all of the FNAF games that came before so I'm not surprised at all that over 2 000 people consider this game a 9 or 10 out of 10 experience and that my friends is the FNAF series as ranked by you the fans while it is interesting to see the general Trends in the community for all of the games at the end of the day what games you like and dislike the most should be all that matters to you and a special thanks to astral spiff for helping
