Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
The NOCO is 4+ stars on Amazon with over 5,000 reviews, 2 out of the top 3 helpful reviews are 1/5 stars. Maybe NOCO at an early stage was a reliable jumper and probably changed manufacturer and took a nose dive.
Audew is also 4+ stars on Amazon with over 500 reviews, but all top 5 helpful reviews are 5/5.
Videos seems to prove those reviews and have influenced my take on these small battery jumpers also.
TL;DR: Replace the included "smart" starter cable, with one without the little electronics box - less likely to fail. Made bad experiences.
My personal 2 cents:
I have one with a "smart" electronics box inside the positive red wire, that checks for proper connectivity, reverse polarity, correct voltage (no power for 6V or 24V batteries) etc and only enables power once everything is properly connected.
Some times when I wanted to use the box on cars with really depleted batteries this lead to a problem - the battery being so low, the box did not register it was properly connected to a 12V battery. Although it was fully charged, it did not supply any power to start the car. Eventually when it did, it decided to show an error 0.5s after turning the key in the ignition (very loud beeps included, which the people in my apartment complex totally loved), forcing me to get out the drivers seat, re connect the setup, try again, repeat numerous times. In the end i was always able to start the car, but it took around 10-20 attempts and some times up to 30mins.
I want to highlight that nothing was "wrong" or defective, in fact the electronics box was exactly doing what it was designed to do - however that design did not suit the situation at hand.
I've since replaced the cable with a spare one from amazon that doesn't have any electronics at all, since I consider myself experienced enough to properly connect the battery pack to a car. I don't want to bother with this kind of shit in a situation where I depend on the starter box. Another advantage is, the spare cable from amazon is ~5 inches longer, allowing the battery box to be put in a safer place in the engine bay.
Why is he yelling the whole video through?
Why can't anybody make one of these designed to be left plugged in in your vehicle all the time?

Overall the Audew seems best.
I have a Noco GB70 in my Jeep. Actually used it twice. Works great.
Donβt forget to check out the dewalt jumpstarter and tire inflator, I have it and jumped my car about 2-3 times in -20f
I've been waiting for his video on these for so long now. A few months ago I purchased the NOCO GP40 based on some suggestions here. Mine has done well enough the two times I've used it. His unit was struggling. Looks like there might be some better choices.
Come back in a year and see that literally all of them are useless now
