This rubs me the wrong way.
I feel like it sends a sort of distorted message about homelessness—that we should care for the homeless because they may possess some sort of hidden talent. Shouldn’t we care about them because they’re people, not because of what they may be able to do for us?
Professionals
gaslightingposing as amateurs in their hobbies or crafts seem harmless to me. It’s light-hearted, funny, and humbling to those who interact with them. But here, it just seems a bit callous? I’m glad he donated the proceeds to a charity for homelessness, but I think he could have just had something out for charity without him dressing up as a homeless person as well.People are homeless, are usually struggeling with something from absolute shitty luck (healthcare debt?), to drug use and/or family problems.
Using such a group as cover for flexing your own shit, is about as tasteful as pro-players smurfing against kids.
All that make up work for one song
Why do they alway have to pretend to be homeless
Does he know the Boogie Woogie?
aw i wish it was longer
Poor dude must really have been cringing at having to play such an out-of-tune piano.
