wind of the day of pentecost sweep through this house i pray lord jesus god we're asking for your divine unction and anointing on each and every one of us lord god we worship you god in the beauty of holiness god with a spirit of liberty freedom emancipation god let the fire of a heaven set on our hearts i've made the breath of almighty god hallelujah hallelujah god made the power of the holy ghost have its own way in our hearts today jesus hallelujah god we hallelujah this way but once and live our lives as tales that are told so god let today be a day the god that we never forget let it be a day where you touched us with power and miracles god and anointing and favor the holy ghost of the heaven move and have your own way i pray jesus holy ghost of god we rebuke every foul and jesus thank you jesus blessed be the mighty name of the lord there's freedom in the house of god today yes amen isn't there freedom in this church be seated for just a moment amen god bless us all in jesus name amen music is the language of the soul and what you're going to do for jesus christ today you're going to do in song and worship praise and prayer that's your portion of the service to give to jesus christ and then god inhabits the praises of his people right here in the house of god psalm 26 and 8 david said lord i have loved the habitation of thine house and the place where vine honor dwelleth number one david said there's something that i love he was in love with god's house the house of god meant more to him than any other place on earth it was not just a place that was prioritized in order of greatest to least priorities but the house of god was his greatest value it was his asset it was his equity it was his habitation he flourished in the house of god yes sir he thrived in the house of god he was happy in the house of god there was freedom in the house of god he felt delivered from his enemies in the house of god and he said not only do i love the habitation of your house this is god's house this is god's house but this is the place where god's honor dwells where's honor dwells now america's got our priorities mixed up today eleven months ago the governor said nobody go to church and everybody complied 4.5 million people in the state of louisiana if the governor told everybody to go to church would they comply they wouldn't go if he can do one he can do the other he said don't go and everybody obeyed if he said to go would everybody obey i can tell you no but the governor's jurisdiction ends at the threshold of that door right there yeah slow so the devil he wears a hypocrite shoe he does and if you're not careful he'll slip it on you so if everybody would go to church today and show you're not a hypocrite then i'll give up my fight right now that's all right but the fact of the matter is this is the place where god's honor dwells yeah his honor dwells in this place yes that's why the devil wants to keep you out of this place because god's honor dwells in this place and the place god's powers in this place god's holiness is in this [Music] i love the habitation of the house of god [Music] several years ago we we spent thousands of dollars on palm trees from the lake okeechobee national forest and they dug them up early the morning put them on 18-wheeler tractor trailers and drove them to baton rouge and dug holes big six by six holes queen bomb put them in the earth out there those beautiful queen palms and they looked beautiful for about four months yeah and then when the winter time came severe they turned brown withered and broke in the middle overnight because this is not their habitation not indigenous they don't like this kind of habitat it's just a little bit too cool for them well you know what the devil doesn't like this habitation it's just a little bit too hot for him there's a little bit too much authority for him there's a little bit too much power for him and the devil will use anybody that he can to shut the doors of the church but this is where the honor of god dwells and and and in malachi 3 he said bring ye all of a tithe into into my storehouse because my honor is there and your treasure is your tithe and your offering he said your money is your treasure and where your treasure is there will your heart be also so when you put your money in the house of god where god's honor is he said your heart is with my heart and my heart is with your heart and together no foe can stand against us god's been good to life tabernacle in in in 2021 this is the final day of the month of january and this has been our greatest month in the history of our church god has been so very good to life tabernacle church i don't know if he if he gets better in the month of february how we're going to stand it but so many people have been born again of the water in the first 10 days of january 40 people were baptized in the name of jesus 31 days over 60 people who are averaging two per day we're averaging two per day so in your bible of malachi the bible said you prove me and he said and i'll rebuke the devourer for your sake how many of you want the devour rebuke today i want the devourer rebuked today god said i will rebuke the devourer for your sake i will opens heaven's windows and pour you out a blessing that you don't have room enough to receive in jesus name everybody said amen so as you make your tithing and offering ready god richly bless you in jesus name thank you for your faithful support toward the work of the lord and your goodness toward the house of god amen we're thankful for each and every one of you that are part of our church we have a great church and what makes it great not only because jesus is here but because you're a part of it so come and be a part of the blessings of god today by way of the tithe and of the offering god bless each and every giver open heavens floodgates and pour out blessings on them that they don't have room enough to receive to help me also but i was thinking that look at your neighbor and say you are a natural you you're just a net somebody said you're a net but can i tell you something i'm not finished with that natural part ephesians chapter 2 and you hath he quickened who were dead in trespasses and sin where in times past she walked according to the course of this world according to the prince of the power of the air the same spirit that works in the children's disobedience watch the next verse among whom also we had our conversation in times past and the lust of our flesh fulfilled the desires of this spirit and body and word by nature oh no no you didn't get it and word by nature the children of wrath even as others look at your neighbor and say you're a natural-born sinner come on you you didn't you just said come on nudge them say i'm talking about you you are natural-born sinner the reason why i'm here today is because i'm naturally bad and i come to the house of god to get good if i keep on oh my lord have mercy now i got two or three stories i could tell you about that to kind of bring it down to where the rubber meets the road but out before i sing this i'm going to tell you a little story and it's a true story fella hadn't worked in six months and he went to the to the newspaper and looked into and the what you call the classifieds and he said this man was looking for employer employers employees and there's a big big big big citrus farm in florida he said i'm gonna go check on that job he walked in that office that morning and said i'm here to inquire about that job he said well i'm hiring he said when can you start he said right now i'm broke busted and disgusted hung up hung out who dude voodoo so poor i can't pay attention i'll work right now he said okay first thing in the morning you be here with your work clothes on and the fella started turning to leave and he just put his hand on the door and i believe in the and the guy said hold on a minute i got something to ask you first he said i want to know can you pick lemons the man stopped cold dead in his tracks and looked at him right in the face and said can i pick lemons he said man i've been married five times i guess i can [Music] hey can i tell you something when we when we make the decisions on our own we're gonna get it wrong two out of three but when you put god in the equation when you come to the house of god and you get it right look at your neighbor say i got it right this time i got it right this time [Music] so i want you to when i when i sing this you're gonna you're gonna god bless good men that fight for our values religious civil liberties and for the freedoms that we hold so dear ephesians 1 15 wherefore i also after i heard of your faith in the lord jesus and love unto all the saints and as a conjunction connecting two thoughts so paul here writing to the church said i know that you have faith in jesus but he said not only do you have faith in jesus but it seems to me that you loved the saints as well evidently there were people that were guilty i know nobody in here today is but evidently they were guilty of having faith in god and saying you know i just don't love the saints i can't stand the people of god verse 16 cease not to give thanks for you making mention of you in my prayers be sure that you pray for me today when you pray like i pray for you that the god of our lord jesus christ the father of glory may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him so those are spirits wisdom and revelation are spirits that make you to know jesus christ the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that ye may know what is the hope of his calling and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints and finally what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us word who believe there are three things the hope of his calling the riches of his glory of his inheritance in the saints but finally preaching to you this morning out of verse 19 the exceeding greatness of his power to us word who believe god bless you as you seated in the fear of the lord this morning the exceeding greatness of god in genesis chapter 15 and verse number 1 the lord spoke unto abram and said fear not abram for i am thy shield and thy exceeding great reward god exceeds his own greatness god makes a record and then breaks his record god will always outdo himself from whatever level you have figured god to be at he has the ability to go above and beyond all of that in second peter 1 4 he said whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises that by these you might become partakers of the divine nature having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust and beside all this add to your faith virtue and to your virtue knowledge and to your knowledge temperance and to your temperance godliness and to your godliness breville of kindness and to your breville kindness charity and if these promises abound in you they shall make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the work of the lord but he that lacketh these things hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins he hath forgotten where he or she was whenever god found them too many people suffer from spiritual amnesia not only have they lost their hindsight but they've lost their insight and therefore have no foresight god give us the hindsight to see where we have been the insight to see where we are and the foresight to see where we are going but he said the promises that i've given to you are not only great they exceed their own greatness god is a great god he is the great god jehovah none like unto him ezekiel 37 and 10 after his equal it preached to a very dry valley of bones the bible tells you that they had come together and stood up on their feet an exceeding great army nothing will bring your life together like preaching of the word of god anointed unctionized holy ghost field preaching that god chose to save them who believe the jews sought after a sign in the greeks after wisdom but when the world by its wisdom knew not god god chose through the foolishness of preaching for how shall they hear without a preacher and how shall he preach except he be sent how shall they call on whom they have not heard and how can they believe on him in whom they have not heard but god said i've got something exceeding great for you that comes through the preaching of an anointed prophet in matthew 2 and 10 when the message came from the angelic host today i give you a promise this is an exceeding great promise that i have given to you that this day is born in the city of david a savior which is christ the lord he was born the mighty god he did not evolve into the mighty god uh he was he was not a second person in the trinity but jesus is the mighty god and there is none like unto him without peer he's incomparable he's great and greatly to be praised but god exceeds his own greatness and as paul is naming these three things here in the book of ephesus he says i want you to know what the hope of his calling is and i want you to know what the riches of his glory of his inheritance in the saints is and finally i want you to know the exceeding greatness of his power and number one the hope of his calling is the church of the living god that he could purchase a church with his own blood and secondly the riches of his glory of the inheritance of the saints is the church of the living god also it's all about the church and finally the exceeding greatness of his power to us word who believe is the church of the living god this is the arena in which god exhibits his supernatural power among the people of god now there isn't there is no restraining to the lord there are no barriers unto god there is no borders that god cannot go beyond but there's something very special about the house of god so special that david said i had fainted unless i had believed to see the goodness of the lord in the land of a living and the one thing that i desire is that i may dwell in the house of the lord all the days of my life it's been a long time since my family david said was able to go to church if you go back to the 38th chapter of the book of genesis you'll find out that david's hair david's lineage was not able to go into the house of god for a 10 generation period but when they came to him and said let us go he said i was glad when they said unto me let us go into the house of the lord because it's in the house of the lord that i've heard things that i've never heard before and felt things that i never felt before i saw things that i've never seen before is there anything quite like going to church is there anything quite as great as being together with god's wonderful people is there anything quite as beautiful as coming together amen and seeing just the power of god and the supernatural power of the almighty god move in an individual's life the god that stopped the sun on high and sent the manna from the sky laid flat the walls of jericho and put to flight old israel's foe can god still answer prayers today and chase the stormy clouds away he turned the water into wine and healed the helpless crippled spine commanded tempest peace be still the hungry multitudes did feel his power's just the same today so let us labor watch and pray he conquered in the lions then raised lazarus back to life again he heard elijah's cry for rain and healed the sufferers from their pain why if god could do those wonders then let's prove our mighty god again why can't the god that raised the dead gave little david goliath's big head cast out the demons with just one word yet sees the fall of one wee bird do signs and miracles still today in the same good old-fashioned way he did he can he will he's just the same today what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us word who believe the problem is not with god but the problem is with me and the problem is with us god is still able to open the blinded eyes and unstop the deaf ears make the dumb the what the dumb to talk and the lame to walk if god can do it then he can do it now there is no restraint under the lord what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us word who believe according to the working of his mighty power in genesis 18 and 10 the lord appeared unto abram on the plains of memory and said sarah sarah thy wife shall bring forth a son sarah is 89 years old and abram is 99 years old and the lord is telling them that she is going to have a son and she's back in the back of the tent cooking and laughed at the lord don't ever laugh no matter how impossible you think it is don't ever don't ever sneer or mock no matter how improbable you think it is when god says you're gonna have a baby it doesn't matter if you're 89 59 or nine it's it's gonna happen god is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we're able to ask or think and would you know it that nine months later she has a little baby boy and they name him isaac how great is god that he can give an 89 year old woman a baby boy and a 99 year old man a son and and and god would call his seed in isaac that's what god chose for them but if you think that that's something the bible said in isaiah 7 and 14 therefore the lord himself shall give you a sign a virgin shall invisible uh guidelines or standards so they are invisible in the visible church they just don't show up but what you need to recognize is is if you do find a perfect church please don't go because you'll mess it up the first step through the door you're trying to stay away because nothing is meeting your your expectations and nothing measures up to your par so to speak but what you need to realize is you're just like the rest of us we were all sinners saved by the grace of god we all had trouble we all had problems we all were sinners but we've been saved by the grace of god god took a nobody and made us somebody out of him i'm just a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody that can save everybody and everybody needs that somebody called jesus jesus if you think if you think spirit 42 43 44 45 day 46 day 47 day 48 day 49 i know back in leviticus 23 and 3 there was the feast of the passover where the blood was on the doorpost of the house and he said number seven sabbath seven of seven is forty nine and add one you got fifty and on that fiftieth day i want you to throw a celebration and call it the feast of fifty that's what pentecost means penti means 50 the 50th day after the passover feast and he said i want you to know that's just a type and a shadow of what's going to happen 50 days when i come up out of the grave but if you wait there in jerusalem the bible is a deceiver he is a wicked evil one world dictator that wants everybody to obey him but the church is hindering him from doing what he wants to do that's what that spirit is taking over political systems it's taking over educational systems it's taking over religious systems but there is a people i know a people and we'll never change for we're the ones that's been baptized in god's holy name lunged forward and he said every preacher in this state and every church except for one man complied with the governor he might have thought he was upsetting me when he said that but i was as happy as could be when he said that i heard about a man by the name of jehoshaphat jehoshaphat said to ahab my horses are your horses my swords are your sores my soldiers are your soldiers let's go to war ahab said let's see what the prophets say there's 400 prophets that told ahab you're going to be all right ahab you're going to defeat your enemies isn't there anybody else i just don't feel right but
