frame by frame animation is hard but I think I found a way that can help it be easier smack Studio has a pixel art animation tool that helps speed up the animation process you can create whatever kind of character you'd like maybe it has wings four legs maybe he rolls around maybe it's just a Cheeto using their tool you can also rotate your art in 3D which is just really crazy to look at all you need is your 2D art and then add where you'd like their imaginary joints and Bones to be and now you can move them around on this Frame I want him to do this and then on this Frame I want him to do this now we have a timeline for our animation now we could go back in and clean up the animation since the program doesn't perfectly understand our character and their 3D depth but once our animation is complete we can export our Sprite sheet to use in whatever projects you like I think one of the cool things about smack studio is no matter what you maintain the complete rights to your character even if you upload it to their own fighting game or if you use it in your own projects it's your art and you get to keep it
