What if Super Mario Odyssey had Mario Party Minigames?

today we play super mario odyssey but mario party minigames have been added to the game i hope you enjoy this video okay so we are actually starting off on the board woody woods which is in mario party superstars and let's just make our way around over here collecting these music notes look how goombas oh boy we got them all all right that's very nice and we get our first shine over here and hold on this tree over here is this the same tree that's from the kirby games i'm not sure if it is okay we got two pipes to go down here so let's go down this one first there's a normal mode of the mini game and also a hard mode of the mini game the first up we have the normal mode and you guys might have seen a mini game like this in mario party superstars before oh boy oh boy so you don't want to go into the water that's what you want to be very very careful of don't go into the water be careful to not go into the water where are we going next let's go over here i guess okay which one's going next you don't want to go into the water not go into the water that is not where you want to go not into the water let's see okay this one where's next whoop gotta come up where's it going oh boy pink okay i got us we died so a few attempts later i was thinking that a good strategy would be to go for the one that just comes up right away just look for the one that is coming up and move to that one quickly because maybe that's a good way to be safe and i realized that there was actually this platform that was coming down and it looks like if you could survive for long enough then this blue platform comes down and you want to actually get onto the platform and that should hopefully take you up to the power moon bring me there and does this mean that we survive because we have to wait for this platform to come down i think that means that we survived right does that mean that we survived for long enough bring me a platform are you gonna bring me to the power moon please bring me up to a power moon oh and there we go oh my goodness that is such a tricky one mushroom mixer okay so we've got lots of apples around here we can see that there's some big apples and some little apples on the bushes over here and i guess that means what we have to do is we have to find a yoshi okay so there's the first power moon shard that we just got and let's have a look around over here yeah here's the edge of the board you normally don't get to go this far and have a look at this over here but right here is a treasure chest for us and in the treasure chest is a nice power bit for us just hit off to the side here treasure in the grove and we do have lots of goombas around here so maybe we want to actually uh capture some of these goombas let's go is there also a goomba back here oh there's another goomba right back there come here oh and look at this oh boy oh boy oh boy okay let's not die first let's just uh come over here first grab that right there got another one of these oh there's another place to go get ah i'm almost dead i don't want to die i don't want to die okay let's be careful yeah over here are some more mini games but let's first go here don't kill me bro bro dying to goombas can you believe it okay so we've collected all the goombas from back there and let's just head up these steps come here my little goomba friend here we are okay we are going backwards of what the arrows over here are telling us oh look at this over here where the boo normally is you can see that there's another moonshot there here's another goomba course wait is that enough do we have six okay we do and we get to get the power moon right over here okay i thought that it would spawn on us but there we go okay oh and there's a yoshi egg in the background over there okay so let's go over there okay goodbye you oh and a hammer broke you know what maybe we have to use you to break some of these blocks oh you can't break these blocks wow that's kind of surprising there's got to be something that the hammer broke and break okay so we want to go there you want to defeat all the goombas over here we're going into the dark forest over here this reminds me a little bit of paper mario actually there's this one spooky forest and paper mario paper mario is such a good game i'd really like to play some more paper mario i'm not seeing anything that we can destroy with the hammers i would have thought that there would have been something that we'd have to destroy with the hammers i'm not seeing anything that we can break okay let's go to our next mini game pipe we're not going to do hard mode yet let's just do the regular one first and whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa hold on hold on hold on we have two marios over here oh boy hold on what in the world is going on okay so it looks like we are playing bowser's big blast over here it is mario and mario and it is time for us both to play bowser's big blast over here all right so let's activate some of these switches so let's i have to make this first switch right over here and that makes a bunch of goombas appear down here oh boy oh my oh my don't defeat us please okay so the white switch made some white goombas appear over here so that's all right okay what is the next switch then is green going to be the one that makes bowser explode green makes oh a little coin cover up here i'm like wait oh oh a bunch of coin poppers actually oh my goodness so many more than i would have expected okay but if you go around like this this is a great way to defeat them just spit out your coins at them okay now go like this there we go lots of coin comforts defeated and we have plenty of coins now hey what about the yellow one what is yellow going to make happen wait let's go like this activate yellow yellow bigs a bunch of little goopers up here look at how all the cappies are going by the one mario this is like my video where i added a bunch of mario's the super mario odyssey and now what is going to be purple purple fakes probably some kind of purple enemy oh my goodness the poison spinning chrono points look at what a cool color they are and let's be careful oh that one ate cappy let's come here eat my cappy i don't have a cappy i'm almost dead i'm almost dead i'm almost dead it's so hard to control two marios together like this okay and now the final switch are we going to die or will we survive what is it going to be let's see what spawns when we hit the red switch fire bros fire bros don't test me fire bros don't touch me stay away stay away stay away where are you bros let's go get him with one health left we survived and we got him ah right man that was a tough one okay let's get over here bowser's big blast what a super cool power moon you know what let's get our yoshi friend over here because i think it'd be nice to move around as yoshi for a little bit and play as yoshi over here he's got his nice jump we could go around collect some oh my goodness what in the world i'm just trying to collect some apples over here and uh goombas are coming at me from the bushes okay so let's go and collect these apples over here and apples here one more apple what i thought that would be enough for a power moon how many apples do i need oh more apples over here yes give me the apples and [Music] okay where's the moon spawn okay right on us perfect okay yoshi's fruit okay so that should be the first one right oh nice and it heals us that's great that you get healed okay i will eat you i will eat you okay now give me some more apples apples that's what we are collecting oh there are even apples over here in these bushes well i wouldn't have thought to go in these bushes all the way out here and probably over here there's also one or even two very nice nothing wait is there anything behind the odyssey oh nothing behind the odyssey okay about over here oh we've got some more bushes up here like we want to collect some apples over here it's so cool to basically be exploring a little bit out of bounds because it's like this isn't normally where you go on the board it's like normally when you're playing the board woody woods you don't get to go out and explore all the way out here we get to look around and look for where apples might be so that's very nice and hopefully i can keep finding some more apples i would like there are apples over here that i missed oh my goodness because it's like from a different point of view you don't even see the apples okay and we're almost there it looks like we need one more apple to get another power moon oh and right over there is another apple and give me that yeah there we are yoshi fruit too okay so that's great we've got plenty of apples over here we've got a well-fed yoshi and you know what before we go to that other mini game because there is a mini game down that way let's see what happens when we throw cappy here okay gonna climb up these blocks over here okay and that was incredibly easy there we go okay so we did a great job with that scarecrow over there oh but it does start to disappear soon okay so we did move nice and fast over there oh and yo she's just here waiting for us hello my little yoshi friend look at yoshi dancing down there let's play some mario party yoshi it's gonna be a two verse two mini game and you're on my team okay so before we go to that mini game let's actually first do the hard mode version of this mini game down here i think that could be a fun one okay so how hard is this one going to be let's see let's see cappy says it doesn't look like there's anything to do here as i was saying cappy said it doesn't look like there's anything left to do here but i think there are going to be some things to do here let's see whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa okay that was a little tricky okay so it was purple came up or purple was the last one okay what's next gotta be fast gotta be fast okay come over to purple now cause purple's coming up okay what's it's like right i said bring me up and brought me up okay and there's our next power boom this was a super cool one mushroom mix up hard okay you know what we've got to go over here and do the hard mode of this one how hard is the hard mode of this one going to be before we go to the third mini game oh boy okay we got a max apart you know what i might not go for the max apart right away i think i'm not gonna go for it right away if our hp starts to get low then i'll go for it okay let's go like this you know what for this one did i just activate all the switches together let's activate all the switches together oh bad this might have not been a good idea there are so many enemies here they're already coming here they're already coming here oh no oh no no no no no oh but a lot of them might actually be defeating each other actually so this is kind of good in some ways like look those fireballs get the get the okay good good good good good good good good good good good good okay now come here come here where are you guys where are you guys let's go let's go let's go how are we taking so much damage what is damage you guys oh wait come here come here let's go mario let's go marios wait wait climb up climb up run away too many too many too many we're at one health we're at one health that's not enough hp go go going off or go come on come here attack attack no our other mario died this is the level where i think it's actually so much harder to have two marios than just one mario because if you have a two marios and if either of your marios get hurt uh if either of your marios get hurt then you take damage and it's like you have to keep track of both these guys together so you know i think a good idea is is to stay down here for as long as possible have the fire bros defeat a lot of enemies but the thing is those piranha plants are really good at defeating the fire bros actually so that makes things a little difficult okay let's see whoa you're shooting fireballs up here huh well you know what i'm gonna jump down here then that's what i'm gonna do oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy stay back everyone stay back i'm almost dead i'm almost dead i need the okay good we got that okay we're down to one health that was a little scary now go go go what's happening what's happening where are we where are we bro i don't want to be a goomba who cares about being a goomba why do i have so little health what's going on here where's my other mario where's my other mario there that's what we need we need this no i don't want to capture this guy oh boy oh boy it's like i'm trying to shoot out with the uh you know what trying to shoot up with the coin cougher but then the other mario caught a goomba so we uh let go of the coin copper and we ended up catching a goomba instead i guess i'm now defeating these guys as a goomba okay but you know what they're gonna be only coin coffers left that's probably gonna be the easiest way to go about it okay let's go like this defeat that guy and just defeat this little guy over here okay and now i'll capture you and let's just go over here and to feed a bunch of these guys just keep spitting out the coins come here okay now is this the last one is this the last one right here tell me that's the last one wait are there still more enemies oh there's still one hiding over here man these guys are so good at hiding come here bam is that it now there we go oh man the hard mode of this was so much harder that was definitely a hard bowser's big blast look at those coins just floating there okay let's get this moon that's very nice oh look at our other mario in the background he's also celebrating okay i paused it and i didn't realize i was about to get hit let's see what happens when i unpause it i'm going to jump right away hold on is there anything special in this hole look at that how cool is that oh my goodness because i think there are monty moles normally in this level right so in one of the holes there that's an amazing spot for one of the moon shards oh my goodness big shout out so just a cupcake for making this this is fantastic this is so good what if cheap cheap was the new mario party dlc character then we could move around like this oh my goodness don't kill me wait a minute wait a minute i just had a thought you can probably break this one with the hammer bro because look at it there's another path like this leading up to this and it looks like it's blocking the hole because over there look at that there's a little hole that we can see so that over there is actually probably one of the blocks that we can break there's a lot of these we can't break it what about this one yes you can and that's where it was and there we go and now our power moon reward is over here okay oh man oh man that's so cool that we figured that one out wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute i was just looking around and look at what i noticed over here the top of this tree is actually quite shiny over here so i was wondering if i'd missed anything and look at this wait oh wait wait wait wait wait wait how in the world are we gonna do this hold on hold on i guess we probably have to like get up here and oh cappy come here happy there we go okay there we go all right and just like a christmas tree over here wait oh okay i'm like is the shine inside the tree now there we go very nice christmas tree over here and now now it is time for the final two mini games let's check them out and i did ask just a cupcake if he could put pokey pummel into it i'm really curious to see how he did this because i know like what all the mini game numbers are wait wait we just want to uh oh whoa whoa okay let's see this looks crazy do i have to do i like break them quickly or what in the world oh oh i could have these come over quickly like this i could i could go like this okay this is so crazy this is so crazy wait wait and i think i'm getting hit right now though let's see am i getting hit okay i did get damaged but right there's the moon okay very nice pokey bubble over here that is super cool yeah you can't move the camera the camera is stuck like this okay so what is hard mode pokey pummel going to be like i'm really curious to see how this one will be different oh the lighting is different too okay it looks like there whoa whoa and they move a lot faster okay that's actually quite terrifying okay a lot of them are coming here um oh boy this is very much in the spirit of pokey public oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy it's funny in the normal pokey puddle it's like you have to mash a lot i'm almost dead oh boy i have one hp can we get it before we die please tell me we can get it please tell me we can get it where is it where is it yes yes we got it all right pokey bumble hard we got it that was actually uh quite the tough one when you've got a lot of bullet bills coming at you quickly like that that's kind of
