what if qui-gon jinn killed darth maul [Music] let's begin on naboo obi-wan and qui-gon head back to naboo with queen amidala in an attempt to take the planet back from the trade federation obi-wan and qui-gon engage more in combat the fight is relatively equal and lasts a long time qui-gon and more get separated from kenobi qui-gon takes his form four starts as moore goes to knock his hilt in qui-gon's face qui-gon senses this and ducks the strike moves to his left and spins with his blade cutting more than half through the level of his chest there is no way maul survives this one qui-gon and obi-wan rushed to meet with queen padme and naboo's victory is assured we'll pick this back up on coruscant mere days after darth maul's death qui-gon appears in front of the council once again he tells the council that the boy is the chosen one that he will train him whether he has their approval or not yoda congratulates him on his success on naboo but tells qui-gon that he senses danger in his training qui-gon tells yoda that he gave his word to the boy's mother that he will become a jedi maze tells quagga that the majority of the council agree with him and so he will be allowed to train the boy qui-gon is the perfect master for anakin he is not so beholden to the rules just like anakin making them very similar anakin in his early days held a lot of resentment towards obi-wan who felt like he had to train anakin and didn't fully understand him contributing to his fall to the dark side anakin wouldn't have had this resentment towards qui-gon who would empathize with anakin qui-gon didn't follow the normal jedi ideals he understands the importance of attachments which makes him unpopular amongst the jedi in the order qui-gon followed the will of the force and not the will of the jedi council he did what he believed to be right he didn't live by a code he lived in the present and not on the future like the jedi council believing anakin to be the chosen one he would be very careful with his training anakin would skip the basic group training that all younglings would have at the temple and only have one-on-one with qui-gon after his recent fight with his sith lord obi-wan is promoted to jedi knight after a phantom menace palpatine has now been voted as supreme chancellor and his plans are in motion dooku has become his apprentice and they are preparing for the clone wars 10 years pass by and qui-gon teaches anakin a lot of the living force qui-gon is the father figure anakin never had qui-gon drills into anakin the importance of focusing in the present and which he always has relying on one's instincts becomes second nature to anakin he already does this in flying and is one of the best in the galaxy this translates into a swordsmanship and at 19 years old is one of the top in the order obi-wan too often got anakin to follow a plan rather than follow his instincts whereas qui-gon would get anakin to hone in on his instincts greatly increasing the ability to use his senses and listen to them in the original story palpatine was the father figure anakin never had but now he has qui-gon because of this he wouldn't grow close to palpatine and would just consider him as the supreme chancellor nothing more palpatine would be frustrated in his inability to befriend anakin and cut turning him over to the dark side from his plans he would do it without him qui-gon and anakin are sent to protect padme amidala the senator of naboo after the recent assassination attempts on her life obi-wan usually joins them a brother to anakin but is being assigned another task by the council before they meet anakin admits to qui-gon his feelings for padme and how he has thought about her every day for the last 10 years qui-gon tells anakin that he knows and senses it whenever her name is brought up qui-gon tells anakin to embrace these feelings despite what the council thinks qui-gon tracks down jango fett back to kamino and discovers the clone army just like palpatine wanted anakin goes to protect padme and the two fall in love however anakin begins to dream of his mother dying on tatooine he calls qui-gon immediately tells him and asks him what to do qui-gon tells anakin to remember his training to not focus on what the future is what might be and follow his instincts he travels to tatooine and discovers his mother dead and the tuscan raiders can qui-gon has taught anakin about attachments and love and in this how to deal with loss and not given to the negative emotions associated with this because of this anika would not give in to his rage and seek revenge on the tuscan raiders instead bring back his mother's body to her home and bury her in the meantime qui-gon follows django fit to geonosis and is captured by count dooku dooku is qui-gon's old master and he's surprised to see him on the planet dooku favors qui-gon and tried to get him to leave the order when he did however he felt his commitment to anakin had to have him remain in the order qui-gon is disappointed in the fact that his old master turned over and gave in to the dark side dooku tells qui-gon that the republic is corrupt and that the jedi are at the root of the corruption dooku asks and pleads with qui-gon to join him and together they can bring order to the galaxy qui-gon obviously denies this which enrages dooku in his anger he tells him that he's already lost and that the sith have already had control over the republic and he storms off dooku killed his close friend sifo diaz so has no problem with having qui-gon assassinated the events at the colosseum take place as usual and the clone war begins anakin and qui-gon face dooku but sadly they would both be defeated however it would be closer than the original fight and attack of the clones in revenge of the sith duke easily faces both obi-wan and anakin who at that point were the best of the best in the jedi order so qui-gon and the less powerful anakin would be defeated but not killed the clone war has begun and the jedi council has made the decision to lead the grand army of the republic qui-gon obviously disagrees with this decision but for the sake of the republic that he still believes in agrees to partake anakin gets married to padme and confides in qui-gon about this he has taught him all his life about the importance of attachment and love qui-gon goes to the wedding and believes that it is the will of the force for anakin the chosen one to experience the good and light that comes from unconditional love anakin is assigned ahsoka at the beginning of the clone wars to be his padawan by this time anakin would be promoted to jedi knight but qui-gon would stay with him due to the sensitivity of him being the chosen one and he still has a lot to learn about the living force two years into the clone wars is enough for qui-gon he has felt the shift in the force the rise of the darkness and the jedi order being blinded by the dark side the jedi's ideals of being peacekeepers are thrown out and qui-gon is sick of it he discusses this with anakin and is a student of the living force he obviously agrees anakin confides this with ahsoka and although she hasn't been a student of anakin for long she agrees with what they are saying obi-wan however isn't fully aligned with the qui-gon's views of the living force and believes in the jedi in fighting in the war together anakin qui-gon and ahsoka leave the jedi order they formally take the title of grey jedi followers of the living force together they set up a meeting with count dooku the head of the separatists because qui-gon and dooku are old friends he agrees qui-gon tells them that they left the jedi order due to the inability to see what the war is doing to them he tells dooku that he was right in the past that the republic is corrupt and that this needs to be fixed but doesn't believe that the way of the sith is the way to fix this that he would be sacrificing peace and prosperity just for order there has to be another way qui-gon tells dooku that the way is by following the living force not the sith or jedi's ideals as neither aligned with the will of the force the force will find a way dooku tells him that the only reason he sought out the dark side is that he believed it would be the only way to end the corruption in the republic and bring order to the galaxy he thought the only way was with the complete destruction of the jedi order but now through qui-gon he believes that this to be wrong he agrees to join them dooku confides in them the details of the war how palpatine is darth sidious and that he has controlled both sides of the war to create distrust in the jedi in the eyes of the republic so that they believe them to be the problem he also tells them about palpatine's ace up his sleeve order 66 which will turn the clones against the jedi the grey judah are shocked to hear this that the sith could so easily infiltrate the republic and have complete control over the jedi have the power to wipe them out at any given moment qui-gon asks dooku what he's waiting for who tells him that as the war goes on corruption increases in the galaxy and also distrust with the jedi only when this is at its peak will the republic allow them to take over and transform the republic into their empire and it can ask what they should do qui-gon tells them that the will of the force has let sidious get this strong and that there must be a reason for this the reason is for cities to execute order 66 and attempt to take over the galaxy but ultimately he will be unsuccessful this is meant to show the jedi that their ideals are wrong and has strayed away from the will of the living force and will make them realize this and force them to change the rest of the room agree dooku tells them that they should wait until after cities execute order 66 but need a plan to take him out as he does so as if they don't he will obtain control of the whole of the galaxy and then there will be no stopping him anakin tells them that he will struggle to let all those jedi die but believes it to be the only way to ensure the continuation of the jedi order the next few months go by quickly with palpatine not grooming anakin he believed dooku to be the apprentice that will stand by his side in the empire the great jedi spend their time on naboo so anakin can be with his wife as they attempt to come up with a plan dooku has told them that order 66 will be executed in the next week so they continue to finalise the plan anakin's marriage to padme is now public and he will travel with her to kurosawa so his presence there is nothing out of the ordinary qui-gon and ahsoka will travel back to curacao undetected all three of them at once may be suspicious to sidious their plan is set and the time has finally come dooku and palpatine are in his office their cups clash as they cheer for the day that is finally upon them the day the jedi are destroyed palpatine turns on his hologram which is connected to thousands of clone commanders and utters the words execute order 66. anakin qui-gon and ahsoka are close in the senate building and sense what is happening in the force the death of countless jedi they know this is their cue they begin rushing up the stairs of palpatine's office building making their way towards him sirius's eyes are closed enjoying the moment as he senses the grey jedi rushing up the stairs his eyes break open fast and he looks at dooku who is staring at him intently and then he senses it he senses dooku's betrayal and ignites his blade and goes for dooku's neck dooku pushes himself backwards with the force and ignites his blade siddhis darts over his desk and engages dooku dooku knows he can't face cities for long but he only needs to hold out until the others are there five seconds go by as the daughter series's office bursts open in darts qui-gon anakin and ahsoka where their lightsaber's already ignited and they rush to form a circle around sidious he takes one clip lock around and then darted ahsoka but this was anticipated anakin dashes to the side in front of ahsoka and blocks the incoming strike whilst this was happening dooku made his way to be directly behind sidious and sends lightning crashing into his back sidi is falls to one knee as qui-gon goes to finish him but sidious forces him to the back wall dooku sends lightning as sidious again who blocks it with his saber and deflects it towards ahsoka as she is also sent flying across the room and it can take the offensive and attacks sidious he blocks his strikes but is wary of dooku behind him he ducks dooku's strike but falls right into qui-gon's foot which stages him for a second dooku sends lightning again as sidious who blocks it with his lightsaber qui-gon goes for the strike from the other side but sidious uses the force to prevent this from reaching him as anakin throws his lightsaber between the two and straight through the chest ending the sith lord the great jedi rushed to the senate that was meant to be in session but was waiting for chancellor palpatine they explain what has transpired with order 66 palpatine being a sith lord and in control of both sides of the war but also how they allied with dooku to ensure that palpatine would be defeated the senate believes them and they're asked to issue order 65 to stop what the clones are doing and cease all of palpatine's influence they then travel to the jedi temple only mace and yoda survive out of the council and the remaining jedi are reduced to less than 10 percent they hold a meeting and qui-gon explains to yoda and mace about sidious and how this is all the will of the force to show the jedi that they are going down the wrong path and need to correct their ways and ideals to ensure this the two masters understand what he's saying and agree yoda asked qui-gon if he'll lead the order down this path as he failed to see what the force desired all this time qui-gon accepts and yoda decides to leave and spend the rest of his days elsewhere where no one else knows qui-gon takes the order off to akto the birthplace of the jedi order from there the jedi's teachings changes to align with that of the living force and carry out their role as peacekeepers and guardians of the galaxy from afar thanks for watching guys please leave a
