What I Spend In a Day as a 25yo SWE in NYC

good morning New Yorkers for another beautiful day here at the city Cloud to start off in high tomorrow's forecast will be in thees around2 this city is amazing but it's also expensive and I'm irresponsible with my [Music] money it's no secret that software engineers make a lot of money a stupid amount of money in some cases my room is super messy but don't mind that please I've been super busy having had time to clean it I know you're probably curious just how much money I spend in a day which I mean I'm assuming that's why you click this video the [ __ ] else are you doing here M Rude why would I say that now some of my days are boring and some of them are a lot more exciting so I figur I'll skip the boring Parts maybe I'll throw a little tidbit in there but for the most part I'll just take you on the eventful parts of my day just wrap up the expenses at the very end now now I think the only thing I probably won't do in this video is make a super detailed breakdown of what my expenses are and how much money I make I'm thinking I'm going to save that for another video but this is sort of just a test to see if this is the kind of content that you want to see from me so uh yeah enjoy and please please Don't Judge Me too hard in the comments I'm kidding judge me all you want I enjoy the Heat [Music] I don't usually get out of the house very often but who says this needs to be a regular day oh [ __ ] most people start off their day with coffee but I mean if you're going to enjoy a Milky beverage bubble te is the way to [Music] go one of my friends is actually a photographer and so we wanted to do a little bit of a photo shoot so I decided to go on pier space rental like little Studio spot and I'm not even going hold you these pictures came out a lot more fire than I was even expecting the day just started and I've already spent almost 150 bucks it ain't looking too good for my wallet but before we get into the next thing I got to tell you about tend to be really Reckless with my money and by Reckless I don't mean that I spend it on like you know clothing or shoes or anything like that I buy a lot of food I'm hungry you know what I'm saying I'm always hungry so I buy a lot of food but for the most part you're going to notice my expensives my expensives my expenses Center themselves my expenses are not an entity in and of itself why would I refer to it as such my expenses tend to center around food one of the first things that I wanted to do is actually revent my entire wardrobe and I know the perfect person to help me do [Music] it all right so y'all remember when I said I'm very irresponsible with my money I got my brother right here it's sorrow you feel me and I'm here to style my brother you know I'm saying we going we going to make sure he get drippy you know what I'm saying make sure he get out of house not really though he got a girlfriend no we done already C you some new shoes just you know what I'm saying we we just got some slight little New Balances ain't nothing too crazy you know what I'm saying but we going to try and switch the whole fit up see if we can get multiple fits and maybe we'll show y'all you know what I'm saying a new and improved DOA deie feel me but mind you the budget for this is $1,000 hey bro okay so we got a lot to work with you we got a lot to work with but not a lot to work with so we shrimp but I got a big ass you feel me Bo hey mad um I'm going for a upgrading Devon style look like something that will make him comfortable but at the same time like he could wear on some fly [ __ ] lowkey I like this that is nice I'mma save it that does fit me what size are you Lar large large you lar gay bro wait hold on on I would wear this sweater but I think you would look good in it too wait is it SE what's the material I don't think that's see through is it player number zero I don't like any of these sweaters well I like someone but not on you best time to wear a strip sweater is all the [Music] time NE why do you know all the lyrics cuz when you're wear it all right now we're done shopping let's put this stuff [Music] on [Music] is the thing recording yes this wouldn't be a what I spend in a day video unless I sat here at the very end and wrapped up all of my expenses so uh yeah here goes first thing in the day bubble tea that was about $7.80 the second thing renting out a peer space with my photographer friend that was about $140.3 and then when I went to the mall with my friends parking cost about $5 so we'll add that in and then you didn't see this but we did eat cuz obviously we got to eat and you know I like to eat I'm hungry you know what I'm saying I'm always hungry food at the mall was about 4 $46.50 oh and by the way we ate jollybee which is top tier eats you can't tell me otherwise so that brings the regular total for what I would have spent without the uh ridiculous shopping budget that I mentioned earlier to about $1 19960 now when you include the shopping Hall there were some things you didn't actually see me buy but I did buy as a part of the $1,000 budget like this ring and even this uh new necklace that I got chain necklace that total came out to about $1,189 so if you add that with our regular total that gives us an overall of $1,388 60 so uh yeah that's what I spend in a day however I'm not going to sit here and act like I spend that every day because some days I don't leave the house some days I leave the house and I don't come back until 3:00 in the morning I have random days to be honest my life is sometimes eventful and sometimes very uneventful but this is just kind of a taste into what a day in my life looks like when I'm just hanging out with my friends just doing whatever I want to do if you got this far in the
