hey guys welcome back to a new video good morning it is 8 a.m. here at the moment and I just woke up today I'm gonna film another what I eat and ate with you guys I've been cooking so much because obviously there's nothing else to do I can't go out for dinner also our whole fridge is like stocked up so I'm like taking this chance and trying out new recipes the first thing I do in the morning is obviously I'm going to drink water I'm going to make a matcha I usually don't immediately start with breakfast this is something new because I tried intubating fasting for a little bit and I actually really liked it but for me having breakfast at like 12 or at 1 was pretty lame so what I do now I have my two in the morning and then I just wait like 1 or 2 hours I just get some work stuff down or do anything else and then i make my breakfast that is the plan of today let's go downstairs and make my mine shaft [Music] you [Music] and tada my matcha is already I always looked so forward to this when I wake up as you can see I drink mine pretty strong and I just add a splash of oat milk I don't do a full latte because I like it better if it's like real much um I am gonna dress get ready and I will see you guys later for breakfast okay now I'm going to grab the stuff for breakfast I do have quite a light breakfast now because we eat quite late and in the morning I don't have to head out and have a full day so I feel like I like breakfast if I'm hungry by lunch again [Music] okay we're breakfast I am going to have some playing coconut yogurt this brand I'm not really sure where we actually bought it just make sure when you got like coconut yogurt or cashew yogurt you get one with not too many sugars because sometimes we would grab one actually it had a flavor we've wrapped one yesterday and like all grams of sugar so just be aware that I am going to add some homemade granola you guys probably remember this from one of my first recipes I have never changed the recipe I have been making this one for over years and it's still one of my favorites I would actually show you guys quickly after I finished my breakfast how I make this to remind you of this amazing recipe then I'm just going to add my breakfast is so good I'm gonna show you guys quickly how I make this granola you can also find a recipe in the description down below and then I will see you guys for lunch again [Music] [Music] okay guys we are gonna go make some lunch not too many in one day so my lunch is not really very easy because I don't spend too much time making it and lately I've been really obsessed with breakfast burritos I really feel this has been changed since I moved to LA that I'm much more into like Mexican food I know this complete Mexican but Mexican inspired for the rap I'm using this azq tortilla you can find this in most of the supermarkets it is 100% flourless healthy and super easy to make we're gonna come up a couple veggies of course onions are very essential okay and then we're going to cut up some red bell pepper so I have some fresh cut Tomatoes red bell pepper onions some black beans i rinsed them off before I put them in a little Bowl I have some mozzarella - I tried to avoid dairy but I do really really really love cheese so from time to time I add she's into my dishes I have an egg and avocado so we're gonna put everything together in a pan and make the burrito now we're just gonna wait until it's warm so I'm going to add onion go away from those light brown so I'm actually using two eggs and also two mozzarella pieces because the lunch I'm making is for two people lucky match almost ready I'm going to add the red bell pepper I'm going to black beans so I like to use leftovers from the night before we have our little rice cooker here and we still got some rice left over I'm just going to add this into the booyah to give us some extra flavor I'm just going to add some random spices every day I try something new [Music] it's late to go to add and then I'm going to add two eggs one summer [Music] and then the meantime we're going to add so much umbrella I don't do this fancy I just make these are little pieces that attitude a pen and I wait until it's melted while the cheese is melting I'm just going to warm up these wraps antenna for breakfast burrito or however you want to call it is ready whoa that is melted cheese so I always try to balance out my meals with fiber with families and with protein so in here I have the fiber obviously my wrap I have protein with black beans in there and I have egg in there and I have some veggies for the five minutes we're gonna cut up half an avocado because I feel that means every dish even more tasty lunch [Music] so top of this I'm going to add this jalapeno if like Tabasco and actually got this from a super nice cute restaurant called just around the corner and they all made like their local products so I'm adding just a little lid on here as you can see you can be very creative with breakfast burritos if you don't have rice just use black beans or if you only have rice just use rice in there you can use a couple of eggs you can even put meat in there like sausages or first kyouto or have anything you like last but not least I almost forgot this I'm adding a little thank you mmm whenever tea I feel we have lunch more often together now normally when we are both like working and out and about we often and have like lunch meetings or like on the rows we spend most of our nights together yeah and now also we have lunch together nice really so good see how I say well my favorite is when you make tortillas tortillas agent third day let's tour Tula Delia its patella company adjacent it comes ahead we're stuck got to get in quarantines look guys okay guys we're gonna enjoy our lunch and I will see you guys later today okay guys it is 4:00 p.m. and I am craving a little snack so I cut up an apple and I'm going to add a spoon of raw Allen butter with this actually my snacks really depend on each day sometimes I go for like something sweet sometimes I go for something savory I really love like hummus dips as well with crackers but this is it for today mmm I'm gonna enjoy these and I will see you guys for dinner again okay we are ready for dinner so I was looking into my pantry for inspiration and actually the boys Jason I'm accident groceries a couple days ago and Jason brought Israeli couscous I think he used to live in Israel and he really lost couscous and it kind of reminded me of one of my earliest cooking memories because I think in school my first dish we did during a cooking class during elementary school was Chris Bush obviously it was a much easier variation of this but I think that was the first dish that actually was able to make and when I got home I made that for my parents so yeah I haven't made this in ages and I want to make like a tagine kind of a vegetable stew we will make a vegan version and yeah we're gonna eat this with some couscous and I already prepped a lot so I will actually link the recipe I'm using also in the description down below I have to say it is a little bit intimidating when you see all the different ingredients you need but when you put it out there it's actually not that bad I switched off a couple of the veggies I have zucchini I have sweet potato you can also use normal potatoes or butternut squash I think that was in the original recipe then I have some carrots I have a red bell pepper and Earth onion also what is going to give her very nice sweet flavor is the dried fruits so I have raisins and dried apricot I have lot of spices cinnamon turmeric cumin coriander and we're just going to put everything into a pan and start your stew okay so I grab a really big pan that's really named of course put the stove on then I'm going to add a very generous amount of bowl of butter and just wait until that's hot I'm actually so excited to make couscous again it's been such a long time and I was the reason actually whose wedding it is not a reason but there are these beautiful tahini pots and I really wanted to order one and I was every time when I wanted to make tae-hee now it's like oh no I have to wait until although I get one of those nice pots but I never really found a got one and I didn't really search and honestly my cabinet my pantry is so full that I'm like we're gonna serve it not in one of those pots but just on a plate and I think it's gonna taste as a good okay you're gonna start off with one small cut onion so this is cool I just actually shared why my first meal was I ever cooked and I'm actually curious what do you guys feel you cooked before the first time and when was it I think it was like maybe 12 years old I'm not really sure this is done we're going to add all the veggies in here and we're going to roast them for about 10-15 minutes until they're soft and about 10-15 minutes until the veggies are little soft and founder and then we're going to continue with all the spices and tomatoes okay as you can see the veggies are much softer five flows the party we want to put a lot of money to me we're going to add one teaspoon of cinnamon 1/2 a teaspoon of turmeric 2 teaspoons of cumin 2 teaspoons of curry on there and you can be very generous here with the spices 2:30 seems of ok [Music] so it's important to put all the spices in there without any liquid so it really opens up all the aroma and then after we're going to put more of it I suggest for about two minutes we're going to 400 milliliters of a vegetable we're going to add dried apricots and this is going to fit it says he's a very sweet flavor you got also going to add raisins and I'm going to add two tablespoons of harissa paste I didn't have harissa paste I got like the red red pepper paste and as long you have something spicy this is actually Korean but it works for a same thing to add a little spice to it and then we're going to mix all of this and you're gonna put this on a low heat between 45 and one hour and we're going to add a tiny bit of maple syrup or you can use honey as well mix everything together and put it on a low heat and let it cook for about 45 to 1 hour so we're waiting for the tagine and I was cleaning I obviously say myself and I was thinking when I opened up the pop-up restaurant in New York City George chef George gave me one of those like cooking aprons and I've actually never worn it afterwards so I thought it would be funny to check out in my closet now and see if my chef's apron is here I found it and tada this is my chef's apron I'm going to grab all the stuff for the cush cush and then we're gonna make that quickly while everything's cooking yeah the food will be ready okay we're gonna start prepping the Koosh Koosh and I was actually a bit surprised when I got this one because it said I had to fry it a little bit first and then add vegetable stock or water to it I normally just add warm water to it and you let it sit so I think it's best to just check your package and see how we prepare your I'm going to add again generous amount of olive oil I'm going for about five minutes and then we're going to add the word water so I can already see it's nice and bright so now you can see the couscous to add three tablespoons of pirates up days one can are rinsed frantic piece [Music] yummy so good so a gene is ready and the couche couche air is ready as well okay I got this like super cute little pants place I was in Turkey and I think this would be the perfect plate to put this dish on I'm going to start with push push and chickpeas big scoop on top of this I'm going to add some toasted almonds I'm also going to squeeze some lemon I didn't have dried mint so I just used some personal talk and then I found this traders Gio which is actually one of my favorites whenever I'm in a Mediterranean restaurant I always ordered order stuff wine leaves because I think they're so delicious and I found these and they're actually these clean ingredients adding two of these and it is ready so this is a super well-balanced meal as well we have couscous and sweet potatoes for fiber we have some protein with chickpeas and we have so many veggies in here which are great Bon Appetit it is 9:00 p.m. right now and I'm hanging out on the couch watching some Netflix and I poured myself a glass of red wine I really love to enjoy well as a red wine during dinner or even like afterward and with this I also really want to show you guys a very realistic watering day because maybe it always seems that 100 percent of the time eat healthy but especially when in quarantine or you know when I'm on a party or doing things I also snack from time to time or eat sweets or some fast food and Max got me really hooked recently on these mini peanut butter chocolate cups which are extremely addictive and really bad freakin so they're really really really delicious I'm snacking on chocolate actually finished already a lot um so we're at one I hope you guys enjoyed watching two days what it in a day video and don't forget to subscribe to the channel put your notifications on so you stay tuned for all new
